[0025] Also, in FIGS. 1 to 11, the vertical direction in the figure is the direction of arrow ab, the upper side is the upward direction where the ceiling exists (arrow a direction), and the lower side is the downward direction where the ground opposite to the ceiling exists (arrow b direction). Further, the horizontal direction orthogonal to the vertical direction is the direction of arrow cd, one side is the curtain closing direction (arrow c direction) for closing the curtain, and the other side is the curtain opening direction (arrow d direction) for opening the curtain.
[0026] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 11, the curtain device 100 is attached to, for example, a window frame, a wall around the window, or a ceiling, and is used as a shielding device for shielding solar radiation and the like. Further, the curtain device 100 may be used for the purpose of making it possible to visually recognize the outside from the inside, preventing visual recognition of the inside from the outside, allowing light and wind to enter the room, or preventing the entry of light and wind into the room.
[0027] This curtain device 100 is an electric curtain and includes a curtain rail 110, a pulley 120, a pulley case 130, a drive belt 140, a belt joint 150, a leading runner 160, a trailing runner 180, a pitch keep tape 190, a connector 200, an arm 210, a clamping plate 215, and a motor 220.
[0028] <Curtain rail> As shown in FIG. 4, the curtain rail 110 is formed of a square tube having a predetermined length attached to the ceiling around the window, and includes a ceiling-side wall portion (hereinafter referred to as the "ceiling wall portion") 110a attached to the ceiling, side wall portions 110b, 110b extending downward (in the direction of arrow d) from both side ends of the ceiling wall portion 110a and facing each other in a parallel state, and bottom wall portions 110c, 110c extending from the lower ends of the side wall portions 110b, 110b so as to face each other and arranged in parallel with the ceiling wall portion 110a with a predetermined interval (groove) therebetween.
[0029] That is, in the curtain rail 110, the gap constituting the interval between the bottom wall portions 110c and 110c becomes a groove portion 110cv provided along the longitudinal direction (in the direction of arrow ab) with respect to the bottom wall portions 110c, 110c.
[0030] Further, the curtain rail 110 has two brackets 111 for fixing to the ceiling at both longitudinal ends thereof. The brackets 111 are provided with a plurality of through holes 111h through which screws or the like used for fixing to the ceiling or the like are inserted.
[0031] As shown in FIG. 2, the drive belt 140, belt joint 150, and pitch keep tape 190 are completely accommodated in the inner space of the curtain rail 110, the connector 200, leading runner 160, and trailing runner 180 are partially accommodated, and the arm 210 and motor 220 are exposed to the outside.
[0032] <Pulley> As shown in FIGS. 1 and 7, the pulley 120 is a toothed pulley that transmits power from the drive belt 140 and is rotatably supported inside each of the two pulley cases 130. Here, the pulley 120 consists of a pulley 120a on one side (in the direction of arrow c) and a pulley 120b on the other side (in the direction of arrow d), and is simply referred to as the pulley 120 when there is no need for particular distinction.
[0033] The pulley 120b is coupled to the output shaft (not shown) of the motor 220 fixed to the lower side (in the direction of arrow b) of the pulley case 130 on the other side (in the direction of arrow d). When the driving force of the motor 220 is transmitted, it rotates in the clockwise or counterclockwise direction at a predetermined rotational speed.
[0034] <Pulley case> As shown in FIG. 1, the pulley case 130 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape and rotatably supports the pulley 120 in its inner space 131. The pulley case 130 is attached to the ends of the curtain rail 110 on one side (in the direction of arrow c) and the other side (in the direction of arrow d).
[0035] Here, the pulley case 130a attached to the end of the curtain rail 110 on one side (in the direction of arrow c) is the same as the pulley case 130b attached to the end of the curtain rail 110 on the other side (in the direction of arrow d).
[0036] In this case, in the pulley case 130b, the pulley 120 coupled to the output shaft of the motor 220 is rotatably supported. However, it is not limited to this, and the motor 220 and the pulley 120a may be coupled in the pulley case 130a.
[0037] Further, the pulley case 130 has recesses 132 into which the ends on one side (in the direction of arrow c) and the ends on the other side (in the direction of arrow d) of the curtain rail 110 are inserted and assembled.
[0038] <Drive belt> The drive belt 140 is engaged with the two pulleys 130 with a predetermined tension, is driven following the rotation of the pulley 120b by the motor 220, and is rotationally driven clockwise or counterclockwise in the inner space of the curtain rail 110.
[0039] The drive belt 140 is a belt with a plurality of protrusions provided to engage with the teeth of the pulley 120. The drive belt 140 is a single belt and is not an endless loop belt. Therefore, the drive belt 140 has one end 140a and the other end 140b, and belt joints 150 are attached to the one end 140a and the other end 140b, respectively.
[0040] <Belt joint> The belt joint 150 is a component that is attached to and integrated with one end 140a and the other end 140b of the drive belt 140. As shown in FIG. 5, the belt joint 150 has a main body portion 151 that is attached integrally with the drive belt 140 in a state of sandwiching the drive belt 140, and a protruding portion 152 that protrudes in a direction orthogonal to the main body portion 151.
[0041] The protruding portion 152 of the belt joint 150 is disposed in the inner space of the drive belt 140 looped around the two pulleys 120 in a state where the main body portion 151 is attached integrally with the drive belt 140. That is, when the drive belt 140 forms a loop, the protruding portion 152 of the belt joint 150 is disposed inside the loop.
[0042] The protruding portion 152 of the belt joint 150 is a portion that enters and engages with the rectangular through holes 161h and 165h provided in the one - end - side runner body 161 and the other - end - side runner body 165 that constitute the leading runner 160. However, the protruding portion 152 has a length such that it does not reach the opposing portion of the drive belt 140 in a state where the drive belt 140 is looped around the two pulleys 120.
[0043] <Leading runner> As shown in FIG. 5, the leading runner 160 is composed of a one - end - side runner body 161, an other - end - side runner body 165, and a runner joint 170.
[0044] Since the one - end - side runner body 161 and the other - end - side runner body 165 of the leading runner 160 are in a mirror - image relationship and have the same structure, for convenience, the one - end - side runner body 161 will be described here, and only the components of the other - end - side runner body 165 will be briefly mentioned.
[0045] As shown in FIG. 5(B), the one - end - side runner body 161 has a runner main body portion 162, two wheels 163, 163 rotatably supported with respect to the runner main body portion 162, and two leg portions 164, 164 formed integrally with the runner main body portion 162.
[0046] The runner main body portion 162 is made of a rectangular plate - like member and has a rectangular through - hole 162h at the upper end for inserting and engaging the protruding portion 142 of the above - mentioned belt joint 150. Also, the runner main body portion 162 pivotally supports two wheels 163 at substantially the center of the runner main body portion 162 and below the through - hole 162h.
[0047] The two wheels 163, 163 are arranged on both sides so as to penetrate the runner main body portion 162 and are rotating bodies that come into contact with and rotate on the bottom wall portion 110c of the above - mentioned curtain rail 110. That is, the two wheels 163, 163 travel on the bottom wall portion 110c while being accommodated in the inner space of the curtain rail 110.
[0048] The two legs 164, 164 are the portions that are exposed outward from the groove portion 110cv between the two bottom wall portions 110c in the curtain rail 110, and are the portions that are coupled to the arm 210 described later. Through holes 164h for connecting to the arm 210 described later with screws or the like are formed in the legs 164.
[0049] The other - end - side runner body 165, similar to the one - end - side runner body 161, has a runner main body portion 166, two wheels 167, 167, and two legs 168, 168 integrally formed with the runner main body portion 166. Through holes 168h for connecting to the arm 210 described later with screws or the like are formed in the legs 168, similar to the legs 164.
[0050] The runner joint 170 is a plate - like member having a W - shape or a mountain - shape in plan view, and is a component that integrates the one - end - side runner body 161 and the other - end - side runner body 165 via the runner joint 170.
[0051] The runner joint 170 has a rectangular main body portion 171 in plan view, a central protrusion 172c extending upward from the center of the main body portion 171, and side protrusions 172a, 172b extending upward on both sides of the main body portion 171, respectively.
[0052] The main body portion 171 of the runner joint 170 has a through - hole 171hc with a predetermined diameter on the lower side of its center, and through - holes 171ha, 171hb with diameters smaller than that of the through - hole 171hc on both sides adjacent to the through - hole 171hc.
[0053] The central through - hole 171hc in the main body portion 171 is a hook - hole for hooking a curtain hook (not shown). However, in the present embodiment, since the arm 210 is attached and concealed, it is not used as the hook - hole for the curtain hook. The through - holes 171ha, 171hb in the main body portion 171 are formed for connecting the arm 210 and the clamping plate 230 described later with screws or the like.
[0054] The central protrusion 172c of the runner joint 170 is higher than the lateral protrusions 172a and 172b and has a larger horizontal width. The runner joint 170 is integrated by being inserted between the legs 164, 164 of the one - end - side runner body 161 and the legs 168, 168 of the other - end - side runner body 165 with the one - end - side runner body 161 and the other - end - side runner body 165 arranged adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction (arrow cd direction) of the curtain rail 110. As a result, the leading runner 160 is formed by integrating the one - end - side runner body 161, the other - end - side runner body 165, and the runner joint 170.
[0055] In this case, in the leading runner 160, the through - holes 171a and 171b of the main body 171 of the runner joint 170 and the through - holes 164h of the legs 164 of the one - end - side runner body 161 and the through - holes 168h of the legs 168 of the other - end - side runner body 165 are arranged at positions where they face each other.
[0056] Here, the state of the three components, namely the one - end - side runner body 161, the other - end - side runner body 165, and the runner joint 170, in the leading runner 160 is not a state where the one - end - side runner body 161, the other - end - side runner body 165, and the runner joint 170 are completely fixed, but a temporarily fixed state. Therefore, thereafter, when the leading runner 160, the arm 210, and the clamping plate 230 are connected by screws B1, B2 (Figs. 2, 7, 10, 11), they are completely integrated.
[0057] <Subsequent runner> As shown in Fig. 3, the subsequent runner 180 is an assembly of a plurality of runners 181 that are connected to the leading runner 160 following the leading runner 160, and all of the plurality of runners 181 have the same structure. The subsequent runner 180 is configured by connecting the plurality of runners 181 in series via a pitch - keeping tape 190 of a certain length.
[0058] Also, in front of the foremost runner 181 adjacent to the leading runner 160 among the subsequent runners 180, there is a pitch - keeping tape 190 that is not connected to the leading runner 160.
[0059] The runner 181 has a runner body 182 made of a resin molded product, a suspension ring 183 attached to the runner body 182, and wheels 184, 184 pivotally supported so as to be able to travel (rotate) in the longitudinal direction of the curtain rail 110 with respect to the runner body 182.
[0060] The runner body 182 is generally in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape and has an engaged body (not shown) that engages with an engaging body 193 having a C-shaped plan view formed by the pitch keep tape 190 at the upper end.
[0061] <Pitch keep tape> As shown in FIG. 3, the pitch keep tape 190 is formed of a tape body having a predetermined width, and a curtain hook is locked to the suspension ring 183 provided on the runner 181 of the subsequent runner 180, and when the curtain is in a fully closed state, a certain curved wave is maintained between adjacent runners 181 and 181. It has a length to the extent that it does.
[0062] The width of the pitch keep tape 190 is formed slightly larger than the width of the groove portion 110cv of the curtain rail 110, and when the pitch keep tape 190 is arranged parallel to the bottom wall portion 110c, it does not fall out of the groove portion 110cv.
[0063] The pitch keep tape 190 has engaging bodies 193 each having a C-shaped plan view at regular intervals so that a certain curved wave is formed between the runners 181 and 181. This engaging body 193 is made of a resin having an elastic force and is engaged with the engaged body of the runner body 182 by elastic deformation.
[0064] <Connector> As shown in FIGS. 3, 8, and 9, the connector 200 is a component made of resin or the like that detachably connects the leading runner 160 and the subsequent runner 180. The connector 200 is generally composed of a rectangular plate-like member and has a lower main body portion 201 and a head portion 205 integrally fixed above the main body portion 201.
[0065] The main body portion 201 of the connector 200 has a through hole 201h formed with a counterbore or a countersink in the center thereof. The through hole 201h of the main body portion 201 corresponds to the through hole 211hc (FIG. 7(F)) of the arm 210 fixed to the leading runner 160 and the through hole 215hc (FIG. 7(F)) of the clamping plate 230 and is used to be connected by screws or the like.
[0066] The head portion 205 of the connector 200 has a substantially T-shape in side view, and a columnar engaged portion 207 is formed inside a recess 206 provided on the upper end face. That is, the engaging body 193 of the pitch keep tape 190 enters from the recess 206 of the head portion 205 and is engaged with the engaged portion 207, whereby the connector 200 and the pitch keep tape 190 are integrally coupled.
[0067] Here, an assembly in which the subsequent runner 180, the pitch keep tape 190, and the connector 200 are integrated is referred to as a subsequent runner assembly 300 (FIGS. 1 and 7(F)) and is used in the following description.
[0068] <Arm> As shown in FIG. 3, the arm 210 is composed of a main board portion 211 along the longitudinal direction of the curtain rail 110.
[0069] The main board portion 211 of the arm 210 is formed longer than the state in which the one-end-side runner body 161, the other-end-side runner body 165 of the leading runner 160, and the connector 200 are arranged in the longitudinal direction (FIG. 7(H)).
[0070] Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the main board portion 211 has a through hole 211hx at one end side end portion. Further, as shown in FIG. 7(F), in a state where the head runner 160 and the connector 200 are arranged in the longitudinal direction, the main board portion 211 has through holes 211ha, 211hb, and 211hc formed so as to correspond to the through hole 164h of the leg portion 164 in the one end side runner body 161, the through hole 168h of the leg portion 168 in the other end side runner body 165, and the through hole 201h of the connector 200.
[0071] The through hole 211hx at the one end side end portion of the main board portion 211 is a hanging hole for hanging a curtain hook (not shown). The through holes 211ha and 211hb are mere through holes through which the screw B1 is inserted, but an internal thread is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the through hole 211hc of the main board portion 211 and is screwed with the screw B2.
[0072] <Tightening plate> As shown in FIG. 7(F), the tightening plate 215 is an elongated plate-like member fixed to the head runner 160 so as to sandwich the head runner 160 from the side opposite to the arm 210. The tightening plate 215 has the same width as the main board portion 211 of the arm 210 along the longitudinal direction of the curtain rail 110.
[0073] The tightening plate 215 has through holes 215ha, 215hb, and 215hc at positions corresponding to the through holes 211ha, 211hb, and 211hc in the main board portion 211 of the arm 210, respectively. Internal threads are formed on the inner peripheral surfaces of the through holes 215ha and 215hb of the tightening plate 215 and are screwed with the screw B1.
[0074] The through hole 215hc of the tightening plate 215 has an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the head of the screw B2. Therefore, the connector 200 is inserted through the through hole 215hc of the tightening plate 215 by the screw B2 and is directly fixed to the main board portion 211 of the arm 210 by the screw B2.
[0075] That is, when arranged to sandwich the leading runner 160 by the arm 210 and the clamping plate 215, the through holes 211ha, 211hb, 211hc of the arm 210, the through hole 164h of the one - end - side runner body 161, the through hole 168h of the other - end - side runner body 165, and the through holes 215ha, 215hb, 215hc of the clamping plate 215 are arranged opposite to each other. Thereby, the three can be integrally fixed by the screws B1 and B2.
[0076] <Motor> The motor 220 is composed of, for example, a DC motor, an AC motor, etc. that rotationally drives the pulley 120b, and is driven based on electric power from a commercial power supply (not shown). The motor 220 has an output shaft (not shown) fixed to the pulley 120b, and transmits the rotation of the motor 220 to the pulley 120b via the output shaft.
[0077] Note that the motor 220 is attached in a state of being exposed outside the curtain rail 110. However, it is not limited to this, and it may be attached in a state of being housed in the inner space of the curtain rail 110.
[0078] <Assembly procedure of the curtain device> In the curtain device 100 having the above - described configuration, assuming that the pulley 120 and the motor 220 are attached to the curtain rail 110 in advance, the subsequent assembly procedure will be described.
[0079] As shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, in the curtain device 100, the pulley case 130a is attached to one - end (in the direction of arrow c) of the curtain rail 110. At this time, the pulley case 130b is not attached to the other - end (in the direction of arrow d) of the curtain rail 110.
[0080] As shown in Fig. 5, the drive belt 140 in a state where the belt joint 150 is not attached is inserted from the end on the other side (in the direction of arrow d) of the curtain rail 110, folded inside the pulley case 130a on one side (in the direction of arrow c), and then one end 140a and the other end 140b of the drive belt 140 are exposed from the end on the other side (in the direction of arrow d) of the curtain rail 110.
[0081] The belt joint 150 is integrally attached to each of one end 140a and the other end 140b of the drive belt 140. In this case, the belt joint 150 is attached to one end 140a of the drive belt 140, and the belt joint 150 is also attached to the other end 140b of the drive belt 140. However, the drive belt 140 only has the belt joint 150 attached, and is still in a state where a loop has not been formed.
[0082] The protruding portions 152 of the two belt joints 150 are engaged by being inserted into the through holes 161h of the one - end - side runner body 161 and the through holes 165h of the other - end - side runner body 165 that constitute the leading runner 160. As a result, the belt joint 150 is coupled to the one - end - side runner body 161, and the belt joint 150 is coupled to the other - end - side runner body 165.
[0083] The runner joint 170 is inserted from below into the one - end - side runner body 161 and the other - end - side runner body 165 to which the belt joints 150 are respectively coupled, and the leading runner 160 is formed by being attached. However, in this case, the leading runner 160 is in a temporarily fixed state where the one - end - side runner body 161, the other - end - side runner body 165, and the runner joint 170 are integrated but not completely fixed.
[0084] Thereafter, the leading runner 160 is inserted into the inner space of the curtain rail 110 from between the curtain rail 110 and the pulley case 130, and is moved to near the center of the curtain rail 110 by running on the bottom wall portion 110c via the wheels 163 and 167.
[0085] Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 6, the subsequent runner assembly 300 is made to enter the inner space of the curtain rail 110 from between the curtain rail 110 and the pulley case 130, and the bottom wall portion 110c is traveled through the wheels 184 of the plurality of runners 181 and moved to the vicinity of the leading runner 160.
[0086] Also, although not shown, in order to make the subsequent runner assembly 300 enter the inner space of the curtain rail 110 in a state where the end portion of the other side (in the direction of arrow d) of the curtain rail 110 is inserted into the recess 132 of the pulley case 130a, there is also a method of providing a slope continuous with the inner space of the curtain rail 110 in the pulley case 130a. In this method, since the leading runner 160 is relatively large in the opening and closing direction, it may not be able to pass through the slope in some cases, but since the subsequent runner assembly 300 is small, it can pass through the slope and enter and exit.
[0087] At this time, the pitch keep tape 190 attached to the foremost runner 181 among the subsequent runner assemblies 300 is taken out from the groove portion 110cv of the curtain rail 110 to the outside.
[0088] As shown in FIG. 7, since the head portion 205 of the connector 200 is larger than the width of the groove portion 110cv of the curtain rail 110, as shown in FIG. 7(G), the head portion 205 is accommodated in the inner space of the curtain rail 110 from the groove portion 110cv in a tilted state, and the head portion 205 and the bottom wall portion 110c are locked.
[0089] At the same time, the pitch keep tape 190 is also accommodated in the inner space of the curtain rail 110. In this state, only the main body portion 201 as the exposed portion of the connector 200 is exposed to the outside from the groove portion 110cv of the curtain rail 110.
[0090] Then, the connector 200 is arranged so as to be adjacent to the other-end-side runner body 165 of the leading runner 160, and the arm 210, the clamping plate 215, the one-end-side runner body 161, the other-end-side runner body 165, and the connector 200 are fixed by screws B1 and B2.
[0091] Specifically, the one-end-side runner body 161 and the other-end-side runner body 165 of the leading runner 160 are integrally fixed by two screws B1 while being clamped by the arm 210 and the clamping plate 215. The connector 200 is integrally fixed to the arm 210 by a screw B2 at a position adjacent to the other-end-side runner body 165 of the leading runner 160.
[0092] Finally, the pulleys 120a and 120b are engaged with the drive belt 140, and the pulleys 120a and 120b are rotatably supported in the inner space 131 of the pulley case 130. At this time, the pulley 120b on the other end side is fixed to the output shaft of the motor 220. Then, the end portion of the curtain rail 110 on the other side (in the direction of arrow d) is inserted into the recess 132 of the pulley case 130a, whereby the curtain device 100 is formed.
[0093] In this way, by attaching the subsequent runner 180 to the leading runner 160 with the connector 200, the arm 210, and the clamping plate 215, a curtain device 100 with improved assemblability is realized.
[0094] After completion, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, in the curtain device 100, the through hole 211hx of the arm 210 fixed to the leading runner 160 from below the curtain rail 110 and the suspension ring 183 which is the lower part of the subsequent runner assembly 300 are exposed.
[0095] Therefore, in the curtain device 100, finally, the curtain hooks are engaged with the through hole 211hx at one-end-side end portion of the arm 210 of the leading runner 160 and the suspension rings 183 of the plurality of runners 181 in the subsequent runner 180.
[0096] In the above configuration, in the curtain device 100, the leading runner 160 and the trailing runner 180 can be integrally attached via the connector 200, and the leading runner 160 and the trailing runner 180 can be detached via the connector 200.
[0097] In particular, in the curtain device 100, since only the connector 200 can be detached from the leading runner 160, the arm 210, and the clamping plate 215 by removing the screw B2, the trailing runner 180 attached to the connector 200 can be removed without disassembling the leading runner 160, the arm 210, and the clamping plate 215.
[0098] Therefore, even when only a specific runner 181 of the removed trailing runner 180 is replaced and then returned to the original state, the original completed state can be restored simply by attaching the connector 200 to the arm 210 with the screw B2 in the same manner as the attachment procedure, so that the maintainability can be significantly improved.
[0099] In this way, in the curtain device 100, in a state where the leading runner 160 and the trailing runner 180 are attached to the curtain rail 110, the leading runner 160 and the trailing runner 180 can be connected or disconnected via the connector 200, so that the workability during assembly and maintenance can be improved.
[0100] (3) Other Embodiments of the Present Invention In the above-described embodiment, the case where the leading runner 160 and the trailing runner 180 are detachably connected by the connector 200, the arm 210, and the clamping plate 215 in the curtain device 100 which is a motorized curtain has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the leading runner 160 and the trailing runner 180 may be detachably connected by the connector 200, the arm 210, and the clamping plate 215 in a manual curtain device that manually opens and closes the curtain instead of a motorized curtain.
[0101] In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the leading runner 160 in which the drive belt 140 is looped is formed by integrally connecting the one-end-side runner body 161 and the other-end-side runner body 165 by the belt joint 150 and the runner joint 170. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and a leading runner composed of one runner body may be provided at the tip of a single non-looped belt. In this case, the subsequent runner 180 may be detachably connected to the leading runner by the connector 200, the arm 210, and the tightening plate 215.
[0102] In addition, those skilled in the art can appropriately modify the curtain device 100 of the present invention in accordance with conventionally known knowledge. As long as the configuration of the present invention is still provided by such modifications, of course, it is included in the scope of the present invention.
