Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to an oily cosmetic containing glyceryl (diisostearate / hydrogenated rosin acid).

Background Art

[0002] In recent years, as cosmetics that give moisture to hair, skin, nails, etc., semi-solid to solid cosmetics called balms have been on the market. Among them, the popularity of multi-balms that can be used on both hair and skin is increasing. However, since balms are mainly composed of oils, they have the drawback of being sticky when applied to hair and skin.

[0003] Under such circumstances, various balm-like cosmetics have been developed, but no balm-like cosmetics that satisfy the above consumer requirements and further give a sufficient hair styling effect have been developed (Patent Document 1).

[0004] In recent years, the movement for environmental consideration has been active worldwide, and due to the increasing consumer awareness of sustainability, the development of cosmetics suitable for the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) is desired.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0007] As a result of intensive studies in view of the above circumstances, the present inventors have found that an oily cosmetic combined with a semi-solid vegetable oil, glyceryl (diisostearic acid / hydrogenated rosin acid), and a solid oil component can solve the above problems, and have completed the present invention.

[0008] First, the present invention is an oily cosmetic containing the following components (A) to (C). (A) 50 to 90% by mass of a semi-solid vegetable oil (B) 5 to 30% by mass of glyceryl (diisostearic acid / hydrogenated rosin acid) (C) 0.1 to 10% by mass of a solid oil component

[0009] Second, the present invention is the oily cosmetic according to the first aspect of the present invention, characterized in that the component (A) is shea butter. When the component (A) is the compound described above, it is excellent in finger dragging and gives a cohesive feeling when used on hair, and thus belongs to this preferred mode.

[0010] Third, the present invention is the oily cosmetic according to the first or second aspect of the present invention, characterized in that the component (C) is beeswax and / or candelilla wax. When the component (C) is the compound described above, it has a semi-solid to solid dosage form and gives a bundled feeling when used on hair, and thus belongs to this preferred mode.

[0011] Fourth, the present invention is the oily cosmetic according to the first to third aspects of the present invention, characterized in that it does not contain water or the water content in 100% by mass of the cosmetic is 1% by mass or less. If it does not contain water or the water content is 1% by mass or less, it can exhibit an excellent feeling in use, and thus belongs to this preferred mode.

[0012] Fifth, the present invention is the oily cosmetic according to the first to fourth aspects of the present invention, characterized in that the dosage form is a balm. When it is the above dosage form, it has good extensibility and is easy to apply to hair and skin, and thus belongs to this preferred mode. [Advantages of the Invention]

[0013] The present invention is a semi-solid to solid oily cosmetic containing glyceryl (diisostearate / hydrogenated rosin acid), which, when used on hair, gives a cohesive bundled feeling and gloss while having little stickiness to the hair and hands, and exhibits excellent usability. [Modes for Carrying Out the Invention]

[0014] Regarding component (A) semi-solid vegetable oil, component (B) glyceryl (diisostearate / hydrogenated rosin acid), and component (C) solid oil content that constitute the oily cosmetic of the present invention, and further regarding the form of the oily cosmetic of the present invention, the following will be specifically described.

[0015] [Component (A): Semi-solid Vegetable Oil] The semi-solid vegetable oil of component (A) incorporated in the oily cosmetic of the present invention is typically exemplified by vegetable oils mainly composed of triglycerides derived from plants. Here, the semi-solid vegetable oil refers to an oil component derived from plants having a melting point of 25°C or higher and 55°C or lower.

[0016] Examples of the semi-solid vegetable oil of component (A) include shea butter, cocoa butter, palm oil, palm kernel oil, mango seed butter, etc. Among them, shea butter is preferred because it has the property of melting at human body temperature and can impart an excellent moisturizing effect.

[0017] Commercially available products can be used as the semi-solid vegetable oil of component (A). For example, Cropure SHEA_BUTTER-SO-(JP) (trade name, manufactured by Croda Japan Co., Ltd.) can be used as shea butter.

[0018] In the oily cosmetic of the present invention, one kind of the semi-solid vegetable oil of component (A) may be used, or two or more kinds may be mixed and used.

[0019] The blending amount of the semi-solid vegetable oil of component (A) is preferably 50% by mass or more, more preferably 70% by mass or more in the oily cosmetic of the present invention. The upper limit is preferably 90% by mass or less, more preferably 85% by mass or less. If the blending amount is less than 50% by mass, it is difficult to sufficiently exhibit the good touch of fingers and the cohesion of hair. On the other hand, even if the blending amount exceeds 90% by mass, the effect commensurate with the blending amount may not be obtained.

[0020] [Component (B): Glyceryl (diisostearic acid / hydrogenated rosin acid)] The glyceryl (diisostearic acid / hydrogenated rosin acid) of component (B) blended in the oily cosmetic of the present invention is a triglyceride-type ester oil obtained by esterifying hydrogenated rosin with glyceryl diisostearate. It is an ester oil having excellent moisture retention properties, and is characterized by having less generation of peroxide substances and odor compared to lanolin oil while having a luster like lanolin oil. As the glyceryl (diisostearic acid / hydrogenated rosin acid), Vistanol GDHR (trade name, manufactured by Seiwa Kasei Co., Ltd.) which is a commercially available product can be used.

[0021] The blending amount of the glyceryl (diisostearic acid / hydrogenated rosin acid) of component (B) is preferably 5% by mass or more, more preferably 8% by mass or more in the oily cosmetic of the present invention. The upper limit is preferably 30% by mass or less, more preferably 25% by mass or less. If the blending amount is less than 5% by mass, it is difficult to sufficiently exhibit the cohesive bundle feeling and gloss when used on hair. On the other hand, even if the blending amount exceeds 30% by mass, the effect commensurate with the blending amount may not be obtained.

[0022] [Component (C) solid oil component] The solid oil component of component (C) incorporated in the oil-based cosmetic of the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is an oily component that is solid at normal temperature (25°C). Examples thereof include paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax, ceresin, beeswax, carnauba wax, polyethylene wax, silicone wax, carnauba wax, beeswax, candelilla wax, jojoba wax, lanolin, shellac wax, whale wax, rice bran wax, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, behenic acid, 12-hydroxystearic acid, hydrogenated castor oil, hydrogenated oil, hydrogenated palm oil, hydrogenated coconut oil, polyethylene powder, petrolatum, various hydrogenated animal and vegetable oils and fats, fatty acid monocarboxylic acid lanolin alcohol esters, and the like. Among them, beeswax and candelilla wax are preferable because they can give a bundled feeling when used on hair.

[0023] As the solid oil component of component (C), commercially available products can be used. For example, as beeswax, ULTIMOPURE BEESWAX-PA-(JP) (trade name, manufactured by Croda Japan Co., Ltd.) can be used, and as candelilla wax, refined candelilla wax MD-21 (trade name, manufactured by Yokkan Yushi Kogyo Co., Ltd.) can be used.

[0024] In the oil-based cosmetic of the present invention, one kind of the solid oil component of component (C) may be used, or two or more kinds may be mixed and used.

[0025] The blending amount of the solid oil component of component (C) is preferably 0.1% by mass or more, more preferably 3% by mass or more in the oil-based cosmetic of the present invention. The upper limit is preferably 10% by mass or less, more preferably 9% by mass or less. If the blending amount is less than 0.1% by mass, it is difficult to sufficiently exhibit the bundled feeling when used on hair. On the other hand, if it is blended in excess of 10% by mass, an effect commensurate with the blending amount may not be obtained in some cases.

[0026] In the oil-based cosmetic of the present invention, since it can exhibit excellent usability, it is preferably water-free or the water content in 100% by mass of the cosmetic is 1% by mass or less. That is, the water content in the oil-based cosmetic of the present invention is preferably 0 to 1% by mass, more preferably 0 to 0.5% by mass.

[0027] In the oil-based cosmetic of the present invention, in addition to the above components (A) to (C), as long as the effects and stability are not impaired, other components commonly used in cosmetics according to the application can be widely blended.

[0028] The components other than the above components that are commonly used in cosmetics are not particularly limited. For example, oil components other than the components (A) to (C), surfactants, polymer compounds, whitening agents, feel improvers, drugs, ultraviolet absorbers, proteins, protein hydrolysates or their derivatives, amino acids or their derivatives, antioxidants, sequestering agents, pH adjusters, preservatives, moisturizers, pigments, colorants, fragrances, etc. can be mentioned.

[0029] Examples of the oil components, surfactants, polymer compounds, whitening agents, feel improvers, drugs, ultraviolet absorbers, proteins, protein hydrolysates or their derivatives, amino acids or their derivatives, antioxidants, sequestering agents, pH adjusters, preservatives, moisturizers, pigments, colorants, fragrances, etc. other than the components (A) to (C) can be the same as those described in WO2022 / 080287.

[0030] The components used in the above-mentioned cosmetics can be used alone or in combination of two or more.

[0031] The oil-based cosmetic of the present invention is characterized by being in a solid to semi-solid bar form and can be used as a hair cosmetic or a skin cosmetic.

Examples

[0032] Next, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to the examples. Note that all the numerical values described in the tables of the examples are mass % based on the total mass of the cosmetic.

[0033] Examples 1 and 2 and Comparative Examples 1 to 8: Hair balm The hair balm was prepared by mixing the components described in Tables 1 and 2 at 80°C and then cooling. Further, damaged hair was prepared and evaluated according to the following hair feel evaluation method.

[0034] [Preparation of damaged hair] As the hair for treatment, damaged hair subjected to bleaching treatment was prepared to make the degree of hair damage constant. That is, healthy black hair bundles were immersed in 2% sodium polyoxyethylene (3) lauryl ether sulfate heated to 40°C, left standing for 30 minutes in a heat preservation permeator, then the hair bundles were washed in running tap water at 40°C for 1 minute and dried with a dryer. Next, as the bleaching treatment, the hair bundles were immersed in a 1:1 (weight ratio) mixture of 6% hydrogen peroxide solution and 2% ammonia water at 30°C for 30 minutes, and then washed in running tap water at 40°C. After towel drying, as an acid rinse, the hair bundles were immersed in a mixture of 0.1M citric acid and 0.2M disodium hydrogen phosphate at room temperature for 5 minutes, and then washed in running tap water at 40°C. Then, the hair bundles were immersed in ion-exchanged water at room temperature for 10 minutes, and then towel dried and dried with a dryer. This bleaching treatment operation was repeated 3 times.

[0035] [Hair feel evaluation method] 0.2 g of the hair balm was worked into the prepared damaged hair bundles (length 30 cm, weight 9.5 g). Regarding the hair bundles after application, the panel feeling (the hair strands being gathered together for each block), gloss, and wet feeling were evaluated by 6 panelists, and the results are shown in Tables 1 and 2.

[0036] The evaluation was based on the following evaluation criteria. Taking the results of Comparative Example 1 or 5 that does not contain component (B) as the reference (0 points), Examples 1 and 2 and Comparative Examples 2 to 4, 6 to 8 were evaluated in the following 5 grades. The results are shown as the total points of 6 panelists, and the higher the score, the better the result.

[0037] [Evaluation Criteria] 2 points: Very good 1 point: Good 0 point: The same -1 point: Slightly bad -2 points: Bad

[0038] Furthermore, the goodness of the finger scoop and the feel on the skin were evaluated according to the following usage feeling evaluation method.

[0039] [Usage Feeling Evaluation Method] Six panelists were asked to conduct a sensory evaluation on the "finger scoop" when scooping up the hair balm filled in a plastic jar with their index finger and the feel when the scooped-up hair balm was applied to the skin according to the same criteria as the above evaluation criteria. The results are shown in Table 1 and Table 2. The results are shown as the total score of the six panelists, and the higher the score, the better the result.

[0040]

Table 1

[0041]

Table 2

[0042] From the results of Table 1 and Table 2, it was revealed that the hair balms of Examples 1 and 2 containing component (B) (glyceryl diisostearate / hydrogenated rosin acid) were superior in finger combability to Comparative Examples 1 and 5 that did not contain component (B), and Comparative Examples 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 that contained oil agents other than component (B), and gave a cohesive bundle feeling and gloss when used on the hair. Furthermore, the hair balms of Examples 1 and 2 containing component (B) had less oiliness and stickiness on the skin compared to Comparative Examples 1 to 8, and were excellent in moist feeling, so they were found to be usable not only as hair cosmetics but also as skin cosmetics, and had an optimal usability for use as a multi-balm. Furthermore, since the hair balms of Examples 1 and 2 used only raw materials with a natural origin index of 1 based on ISO 16128, it was possible to obtain oil-based cosmetics suitable for the SDGs.
