[0053] The first part 17 has a first end face 22 at one end in the direction along the first axis X and a second end face 23 at the other end. As shown in FIG. 5, the first part 17 has a first groove 24 formed along the first axis X. The first groove 24 is defined by a bottom 24A and a pair of side walls 24B protruding from both side edges of the bottom 24A with respect to the bottom 24A. The first groove 24 reaches the first end face 22 and the second end face 23. The second part 18 has a third end face 25 at one end in the direction along the second axis Y and a fourth end face 26 at the other end. The second part 18 has a second groove 27 formed along the second axis Y. The second groove 27 is defined by a bottom 27A and a pair of side walls 27B protruding from both side edges of the bottom 27A with respect to the bottom 27A. The second groove 27 reaches the third end face 25 and the fourth end face 26.
[0054] The connecting portion 19 is located at a position that does not overlap with the first axis X and the second axis Y between the second end face 23 and the third end face 25. The connecting portion 19 is formed in a plate shape and connects one side wall 24B of the first part 17 and the other side wall 27B of the second part 18. A third groove 28 is formed by the connecting portion 19, the second end face 23, and the third end face 25. The third groove 28 extends in a direction orthogonal to each of the first axis X and the second axis Y. The third groove 28 connects to the end of the first groove 24 on the second end face 23 side and the end of the second groove 27 on the third end face 25 side. The opening direction of the first groove 24 coincides with one of the extending directions of the third groove 28, and the opening direction of the second groove 27 coincides with the other of the extending directions of the third groove 28. That is, the first groove 24 and the second groove 27 open in opposite directions to each other.
[0055] The first groove 24 receives at least a part of the first rod-shaped portion 15. On each of the inner surfaces of the pair of side walls 24B forming the first groove 24 at the opening end side, a pair of first protrusions 29 protruding in a direction approaching each other are provided. By the pair of first protrusions 29, the width at the opening end of the first groove 24 is set to be smaller than the diameter of the first rod-shaped portion 15. A pair of edge portions 24C constituting the opening end of the first groove 24 are inclined so as to approach each other toward the bottom portion 24A side of the first groove 24. Specifically, the surfaces of the pair of first protrusions 29 at the opening end side are inclined so as to approach each other toward the bottom portion 24A side of the first groove 24.
[0056] The second groove 27 receives at least a part of the second rod-shaped portion 16. On each of the inner surfaces of the pair of side walls 27B forming the second groove 27 at the opening end side, a pair of second protrusions 30 protruding in a direction approaching each other are provided. By the pair of second protrusions 30, the width at the opening end of the second groove 27 is set to be smaller than the diameter of the second rod-shaped portion 16. A pair of edge portions 27C constituting the opening end of the second groove 27 are inclined so as to approach each other toward the bottom portion 27A side of the second groove 27. Specifically, the surfaces of the pair of second protrusions 30 at the opening end side are inclined so as to approach each other toward the bottom portion 27A side of the second groove 27.
[0057] On the outer surface of the side wall 24B of the first part 17, an engaging portion 31 for engaging the wire 12 with the upper member 10 is provided. As shown in FIG. 6, the upper member 10 has a plurality of engaging holes 32 for engaging the clip 13. In the present embodiment, one engaging hole 32 is formed in each of the left and right portions of the front wall portion 10A of the upper member 10. Each engaging hole 32 is formed in the front-rear direction with respect to the upper member 10. The engaging portion 31 has flexibility and is formed of, for example, resin. The engaging portion 31 has a support portion 33 that extends substantially perpendicularly from the outer surface of the side wall 24B of the first part 17, and a plurality of elastic claws 34 that extend from the tip 33B of the support portion 33 toward the base end 33A of the support portion 33. The elastic claws 34 in the present embodiment are formed symmetrically with respect to the support portion 33 and are a pair of elastic claws 34 arranged along the first axis X. Each elastic claw 34 has a base portion 34A on the tip 33B of the support portion 33. Each elastic claw 34 has a free end portion 34B that extends so as to move away from the outer peripheral surface of the support portion 33 as it goes from the base portion 34A toward the base end 33A.
[0058] The method of fixing the wire 12 to the upper member 10 is as follows. First, the operator places the clip 13 behind the bent portion 14 of the wire 12 such that the third groove 28 opens forward and extends left and right. Then, the operator receives the bent portion 14 of the wire 12 into the third groove 28 from the front. Subsequently, the operator rotates the clip 13 about an axis that passes through the third groove 28 and extends in the front-rear direction. As a result, the first rod-shaped portion 15 enters the first groove 24, and the second rod-shaped portion 16 enters the second groove 27. At this time, the first rod-shaped portion 15 passes between the pair of first protrusions 29, and the second rod-shaped portion 16 passes between the pair of second protrusions 30. As a result, the first rod-shaped portion 15 is locked between the pair of first protrusions 29, and the second rod-shaped portion 16 is locked to the pair of second protrusions 30, so that the clip 13 is coupled to the wire 12.
[0059] Next, the operator inserts the engaging portion 31 of the clip 13 coupled to the wire 12 into the engaging hole 32. Thereby, the clip 13 is fixed to the upper member 10.
[0060] The wire 12 has a first rod-shaped portion 15 and a second rod-shaped portion 16 via a bent portion 14. The first rod-shaped portion 15 is clamped by the first groove 24 of the clip 13, and the second rod-shaped portion 16 is respectively received by the second groove 27 of the clip 13. Therefore, it is easy to determine the position of the clip 13 with respect to the wire 12, and the assembly work is easy. The first groove 24 and the second groove 27 open in different directions from each other. The opening width of the first groove 24 has a first protrusion 29 and is smaller than the diameter of the first rod-shaped portion 15. The opening width of the second groove 27 has a second protrusion 30 and is smaller than the diameter of the second rod-shaped portion 16. Therefore, the clip 13 is difficult to fall off from the wire 12. Further, a pair of edge portions 24C constituting the opening end of the first groove 24 are inclined so as to approach each other toward the bottom portion 24A side of the first groove 24, and a pair of edge portions 27C constituting the opening end of the second groove 27 are inclined so as to approach each other toward the bottom portion 27A side of the second groove 27. Due to the structure of each of the edge portions 24C and 27C, when the operator pushes the wire 12 into the first groove 24 and the second groove 27, the first groove 24 and the second groove 27 can easily receive the wire 12.
[0061] A third groove 28 is formed by the connection portion 19, the second end face 23, and the third end face 25. The first groove 24 and the second groove 27 respectively open toward at least a part of the extending direction of the third groove 28. Due to this structure, after the operator receives the bent portion 14 of the wire 12 from the front into the third groove 28, the operator rotates the clip 13 around an axis extending back and forth through the third groove 28, so that the first groove 24 can be easily locked to the first rod-shaped portion 15, and the second groove 27 can be easily locked to the second rod-shaped portion 16 respectively. Since the angle formed by the first axis X and the second axis Y is set equal to the inclination angle α between the first rod-shaped portion 15 and the second rod-shaped portion 16, the positioning of the clip 13 with respect to the wire 12 can be performed with a simple structure. Since the front wall portion 10A of the upper member 10 has an engagement hole 32, the engagement portion 31 provided on the first portion 17 of the clip 13 can be inserted into the engagement hole 32 from the front.
[0062] The clip 213 and the vehicle seat 1 according to the second embodiment differ in the shape of the clip 213 and the shape of the wire 212 as compared with the clip 13 and the vehicle seat 1 according to the first embodiment. In the following description, only the different configurations will be described, and for the configurations similar to the clip 13 and the vehicle seat 1 according to the first embodiment, the above description will be incorporated and the description will be omitted.
[0063] As shown in FIG. 7, the upper portion of the wire 212 has a first bent portion 235 that bends rearward and a second bent portion 236 that bends downward. The wire 212 has a first rod-shaped portion 215, a second rod-shaped portion 216, and an intermediate rod-shaped portion 214 that are connected to each other via the bent portions 235 and 236. The first rod-shaped portion 215 is disposed above the first bent portion 235 and extends linearly up and down. The intermediate rod-shaped portion 214 is disposed between the first bent portion 235 and the second bent portion 236, is connected to the first rod-shaped portion 215 substantially perpendicularly, and extends linearly back and forth. The second rod-shaped portion 216 is disposed below the second bent portion 236, is connected to the intermediate rod-shaped portion 214 substantially perpendicularly, and extends linearly up and down.
[0064] The first portion 217 of the clip 213 according to the present embodiment has a first axis X', and the connecting portion 219 has a third axis Z that extends substantially perpendicularly to the first axis X'. The second portion 218 has a second axis Y' that extends substantially perpendicularly to the third axis Z. The outer shapes of the first portion 217, the connecting portion 219, and the second portion 218 may be formed, for example, in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped or a cylinder. [0068] Next, the operator inserts the engaging portion 31 of the clip 213 coupled to the wire 212 into the engaging hole 32. Thereby, the clip 213 is fixed to the upper member 10.
[0069] In this manner, where the first groove 224 receives the first rod-shaped portion 215, the second groove 227 receives the second rod-shaped portion 216, and the third groove 228 receives the intermediate rod-shaped portion 214, the clip 213 is stably coupled by the wire 212.
[0070] The clip 313 and the vehicle seat 1 according to the third embodiment differ in the shape of the clip 313 and the shape of the wire 312 as compared with the clip 213 and the vehicle seat 1 according to the second embodiment. In the following description, only the different configurations will be described, and for the configurations similar to the clips 13, 213 and the vehicle seat 1 according to the first and second embodiments, the above description will be incorporated and the description will be omitted.
[0071] As shown in FIG. 8, the wire 312 has a fourth rod-shaped portion 339 extending rearward from the upper end of the first rod-shaped portion 215. A fourth groove 340 extending along the support portion 33 is formed in the support portion 33 of the engaging portion 31. The fourth groove 340 opens in the same direction as the first groove 224. One end of the fourth groove 340 is connected to the first groove 224. The other end of the fourth groove 340 may or may not reach the tip 33B of the support portion 33.
[0072] The fourth groove 340 receives the fourth rod-shaped portion 339. A pair of fourth protrusions 341 protruding in a direction approaching each other are provided on each of the inner surfaces of the pair of side walls 340B forming the fourth groove 340 at the opening end side. The width at the opening end of the fourth groove 340 is set to be smaller than the intermediate diameter by the pair of fourth protrusions 341. The pair of edge portions 340C constituting the opening end of the fourth groove 340 are inclined so as to approach each other toward the bottom portion 340A side of the fourth groove 340. Specifically, the surfaces on the opening end side of the pair of fourth protrusions 341 are inclined so as to approach each other toward the bottom portion 34 A side of the fourth groove 340.
[0073] The method of fixing the wire 312 to the upper member 10 is as follows. The operator pushes the first rod-shaped portion 215 into the first groove 224, the second rod-shaped portion 216 into the second groove 227, the intermediate rod-shaped portion 214 into the third groove 228, and the fourth rod-shaped portion 339 into the fourth groove 340 from the front and receives them. At this time, the first rod-shaped portion 215 passes between the pair of first protrusions 29, the second rod-shaped portion 216 passes between the pair of second protrusions 30, the intermediate rod-shaped portion 214 passes between the pair of third protrusions 238, and the fourth rod-shaped portion 339 passes between the pair of fourth protrusions 341. As a result, the first rod-shaped portion 215 is locked between the pair of first protrusions 29, the second rod-shaped portion 216 is locked between the pair of second protrusions 30, the intermediate rod-shaped portion 214 is locked between the pair of third protrusions 238, and the fourth rod-shaped portion 339 is locked between the pair of fourth protrusions 341, so that the clip 313 is coupled to the wire 312.
[0074] Next, the operator inserts the engaging portion 31 of the clip 313 coupled to the wire 312 into the engaging hole 32 from the front. At this time, simultaneously with the insertion of the engaging portion 31 into the engaging hole 32, the fourth rod-shaped portion 339 also passes through the engaging hole 32. Thereby, the clip 313 is fixed to the upper member 10.
[0075] In this aspect where the first rod-shaped portion 215 is received by the first groove 224, the second rod-shaped portion 216 is received by the second groove 227, the intermediate rod-shaped portion 214 is received by the third groove 228, and the fourth rod-shaped portion 339 is received by the fourth groove 340 respectively, the clip 313 is stably coupled by the wire 312. Since the fourth groove 340 is formed in the engaging portion 31, it is not necessary to provide the elastic claw 34 on the first portion 217, and the structure of the clip 313 can be simplified.
[0076] The clip 413 and the vehicle seat 1 according to the fourth embodiment differ in the shape of the clip 413 and the shape of the upper member 410 as compared with the clip 13 and the vehicle seat 1 according to the first embodiment. In the following description, only the different configurations will be described, and for the configurations similar to the clip 13 and the vehicle seat 1 according to the first embodiment, the above description will be incorporated by reference and the description will be omitted.
[0077] As shown in FIG. 9, the upper member 410 has a cylindrical protrusion 442 at the edge of the engaging hole 432. The protrusion 442 extends forward from the edge of the engaging hole 432. The protrusion 442 may be, for example, a burr generated when the engaging hole 432 is drilled from the back side of the upper member 410. The side wall 424B of the first portion 417 has a fifth groove 445 formed on the outer surface. The fifth groove 445 is formed in an annular shape centered on the support portion 433.
[0078] In the state where the clip 413 is attached to the upper member 410, the protrusion 442 is received in the fifth groove 445. In this aspect, the clip 413 can be fixed to the upper member 410 without interference from the protrusion 442 generated during the formation of the engaging hole 432.
[0079] With the above description of the specific embodiments completed, the present invention can be widely modified and implemented without being limited to the above embodiments. For example, in the second embodiment, the first groove 224, the second groove 227, and the third groove 228 open in the same direction. In the third embodiment, the first groove 224, the second groove 227, the third groove 228, and the fourth groove 340 open in the same direction, but each opening may open in opposite directions to each other.
