Abstract

To provide a refrigeration system capable of continuing an operation even when failure occurs in any compressor.SOLUTION: A refrigeration system includes a first utilization side heat exchanger, a second utilization side heat exchanger in which a refrigerant evaporation temperature is lower than that in the first utilization side heat exchanger, a plurality of low-stage compressors, and a plurality of high-stage compressors provided on the discharge side of the plurality of low-stage compressors. The refrigeration system also includes discharge piping, suction piping that is piping connected to a suction side, discharge side opening / closing devices and suction side opening / closing devices. The suction piping provided in the low-stage compressor includes suction side connection piping for connecting an upstream side of the suction side opening / closing device and a downstream side of any one of the suction side opening / closing devices of the suction piping provided in the high-stage compressor. Any one of the discharge piping provided in the low-stage compressors includes discharge side connection piping for connecting the downstream side of the discharge side opening / closing device and the downstream side of the discharge side opening / closing device of the discharge piping provided in the high-stage compressor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
