Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a lure. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, there has been a problem in that lures such as baits get left on the seabed due to snagging on rocks, seaweed, nets, etc. However, as shown in Patent Document 1, for example, conventional lures are known to break when the attachment member such as a fishing hook is weaker than a predetermined strength relative to the lure body. By damaging the attachment member in this way, even if the lure gets snagged on a rock or the like, the hook and the body can be separated, and the body can be recovered without being left on the seabed. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 7162036 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] However, in the case of conventional lures in which an attachment such as a fishhook is broken relative to the body, as shown in Patent Document 1, the breakage strength of the attachment must be equal to or less than the strength of the fishing line, which makes it more difficult to catch large fish compared to ordinary lures, and there is room for improvement in this regard.
[0005] The present invention was made in consideration of these circumstances, and its purpose is to release the body of a lure that has become snagged on a bottom while ensuring the strength of the engagement portion between the attachment member and the body. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] (1) A first aspect of the lure of the present invention has an attachment member having an engaging portion that engages with a body, and an engaged portion on the body that covers the engaging portion, and is characterized in that at least one of the engaging portion of the attachment member and the engaged portion of the body is made of a material that can be decomposed in water.
[0007] According to the first aspect of the lure of the present invention, at least one of the engaging portion of the attachment member, such as a hook eye or a line eye, attached to the lure body and the engaged portion of the body that engages therewith is made of a material that can be decomposed in water, such as a biodegradable resin. Therefore, when the lure is continuously immersed in water (underwater), the portion made of the material that can be decomposed in water decomposes. For example, if the material that can be decomposed in water is a biodegradable resin, biodegradation occurs. Therefore, when the engagement between the engaging portion and the engaged portion is released, and the lure becomes snagged, for example, the body and the attachment member are separated by the decomposition of at least one of the engaging portion and the engaged portion, making it possible to release at least the lure body from the snagged state. In addition, this lure utilizes the decomposition of the parts that can be decomposed in water to separate the body from the attachment member that has become snagged on a bottom, which differs from conventional lures that set the breaking strength of the attachment member below the strength of the fishing line, and break the attachment member when it gets snagged, allowing the body to be retrieved. Therefore, with this lure, the strength of the engagement part between the attachment member and the body can be ensured sufficiently, and large fish can be caught without the attachment member breaking, just like with regular lures.
[0008] (2) In a second aspect of the present invention, in the lure of the first aspect, it is preferable that there is a gap between the engaging portion and the engaged portion that communicates with the surface of the body.
[0009] In this case, if the lure remains in water (underwater), water will seep into the gap between the engaging part and the engaged part from the surface of the body, causing at least one of the engaging part and the engaged part to disintegrate further. As a result, the gap between the engaged part and the engaging part will become larger, causing loosening and making it easier for the engaging part and the engaged part to disengage.
[0010] (3) In a third aspect of the present invention, in the lure of the first or second aspect, the attachment member is preferably at least one of a line eye, a hook eye, and a hook.
[0011] In this case, at least one of the engaging portions of the line eye, hook eye, and hook, or the engaged portion of the body that engages with it, disintegrates underwater (in the sea), allowing it to be separated from the body underwater (in the sea). This allows the lure to be released from a snagged state, even if a weight attached to the line side gets snagged on a rock.
[0012] (4) A fourth aspect of the present invention may be characterized in that, in the lure of any one of the first to third aspects, the engaging portion is a pin member that engages the attachment member and the engaged portion.
[0013] In this case, at least one of the pin member and the engaged portion of the body with which the pin member engages disassembles underwater (in the sea), so that the mounting member having the pin member can be separated from the body underwater (in the sea).
[0014] (5) A fifth aspect of the present invention may be characterized in that, in the lure of any one of the first to fourth aspects, the body has a hollow portion, and the engaged portion is separated from the hollow portion.
[0015] In this case, because the engaged portion is separated from the hollow portion of the body, even when at least one of the engaging portion and the engaged portion disintegrates underwater, no hole is formed that connects the hollow portion of the body to the outside. Therefore, even if at least one of the engaging portion and the engaged portion disintegrates, the hollow portion forms a hollow portion in the body, so that even when the attachment member detaches from the body as at least one of the engaging portion and the engaged portion disintegrates, the body easily floats up, allowing the body to be efficiently released from a snagged state.
[0016] (6) A sixth aspect of the present invention may be characterized in that in the lure of any one of the first to fifth aspects, the buoyancy of the body is greater than its weight.
[0017] In this case, after the engagement with the mounting member is released, the body floats up due to buoyancy and can be washed ashore and recovered.
[0018] (7) A seventh aspect of the present invention may be characterized in that, in the lure of any one of the first to sixth aspects, the material that can be decomposed in water may be a marine biodegradable resin.
[0019] In this case, even if the lure becomes snagged on a rock or otherwise remains in the sea unintentionally by the angler, at least one of the engaging portion of the attachment member and the engaged portion of the lure body can biodegrade and release the engagement. Furthermore, since at least one of the engaging portion and the engaged portion is made of marine biodegradable resin, even if the area of contact with seawater in the engaging portion or the engaged portion is small, seawater will spread throughout the entirety of at least one of the engaging portion and the engaged portion due to capillary action, allowing at least one of the engaging portion and the engaged portion, which are made of marine biodegradable resin, to be efficiently biodegraded. [Effects of the Invention]
[0020] According to the lure of the present invention, the strength of the engagement portion between the attachment member and the body can be ensured, while the snagged lure body can be released from the snagged state. [Brief explanation of the drawings]
[0021] [Figure 1] 1 is a perspective view showing a lure according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. [Figure 2] FIG. 2 is a side view of the lure shown in FIG. 1. [Figure 3] FIG. 10 is a perspective view of a lure according to a second embodiment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0022] Hereinafter, embodiments of the lure according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In each drawing, the scale of each component may be appropriately changed as necessary to make each component large enough to be visible.
[0023] (First embodiment) Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a lure 1 according to a first embodiment. Fig. 2 is a side view of the lure 1 shown in Fig. 1. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the lure 1 of the embodiment is used for fishing and is an example of a lure that is a common type of lure made of a material such as ABS resin and has the shape of a shrimp, known as an egi.
[0024] Here, in the lure 1, the direction in which the head 11 and tail 13 are aligned is defined as the front-to-back direction X1, the head 11 side is defined as the front or front side, and the tail 13 side is defined as the rear or back side. In the following description, the lateral direction perpendicular to the front-to-back direction X1 when viewed from above is defined as the left-to-right direction X2.
[0025] The lure 1 comprises a pair of halved bodies 10, an umbrella hook 20 (attachment member, hook) having an axial portion 21 (engagement portion) that engages with the rear end portion 10b of the body 10, a line eye 30 (attachment member) having an engagement ring 31 (engagement portion) that engages with the front end portion 10a of the body 10, and a sinker 40 (attachment member) attached to the lower portion of the body. The sinker 40 is fixed between the pair of halved bodies 10 by a fixing pin 41 (engagement portion) made of a material that can be decomposed in water, such as magnesium.
[0026] The body 10 is formed in a streamlined shape and is integrally formed by joining the peripheral edges of a pair of half bodies together by adhesive bonding, welding, or the like. The body 10 is integrally formed of a head 11, a trunk 12, and a tail 13. In Figures 1 and 2, the left side of the paper is the front end 10a of the body 10 on the head 11 side, and the right side of the paper is the rear end 10b of the body 10 on the tail 13 side.
[0027] The cross section of the body 10 is largest at the central portion 10e in the front-to-rear direction X1. That is, the body 10 is shaped so that it becomes thicker from the front end portion 10a toward the central portion 10e and tapers from the central portion 10e toward the rear end portion 10b, forming a smooth curve as a whole.
[0028] As shown in Figure 2, the trunk 12 of the body 10 forms a hollow portion 100. The head 11 and tail 13 are solid. The body 10 has engaged portions 14, 15, and 16 that cover the shaft 21 of the umbrella hook 20, the engaging ring 31 of the line eye 30, and the fixing pin 41 of the sinker 40, respectively.
[0029] At least one of the engaging portion (shaft portion 21, engaging ring 31, fixing pin 41) and its engaged portions 14, 15, 16 of the body 10 is made of a material that can be decomposed in water. Examples of materials that can be decomposed in water include biodegradable resins, such as marine biodegradable resins made from biomass plastics, such as cellulose acetate and PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate). Among PHAs, P3HB (poly[(R)-3-hydroxybutyrate]) and its copolymers P3HB4HB (poly[(R)-3-hydroxybutyrate-co-4-hydroxybutyrate]), P3HBV (poly[(R)-3-hydroxybutyrate-co-(R)-3-hydroxyvalerate]), and P3HBH (poly[(R)-3-hydroxybutyrate-co-(R)-3-hydroxyhexanoate]) are particularly biodegradable in seawater (marine biodegradability).
[0030] Furthermore, the buoyancy of the body 10 is greater than its weight, and the body 10 can float due to the buoyancy.
[0031] The inner surface 10c of the body 10 facing the hollow portion 100 is provided with reinforcing ribs 101 that protrude toward the hollow portion 100. The reinforcing ribs 101 extend in the up-down direction and are arranged so that the rib surfaces intersect with the front-rear direction X1. By providing the reinforcing ribs 101, the body 10, which is made of a biodegradable resin material, is reinforced. Therefore, the strength of the body 10 is increased so that it can withstand external pressure.
[0032] The shaft 21 of the umbrella needle 20 protrudes from the rear end 10b of the body 10. The shaft 21 is a pin member that is engaged with a portion (fixed end 21a) inserted into the body 10 with its axial direction facing in the front-to-rear direction X1 of the body 10. The umbrella needle 20 is attached to the shaft 21 that protrudes from the rear end 10b of the body 10. The umbrella needle 20 has the shaft 21 and is provided on the outer side of the body 10. The rear end 10b of the body 10 has a first engagement hole 14a that engages with the fixed end 21a of the shaft 21.
[0033] The first engaging hole 14a is included in a part of the first engaged part 14. The first engaged part 14 is provided in the solid tail part 13 of the body 10, and is provided in a position separated from the hollow part 100. Therefore, even if either the shaft part 21 or the first engaged part 14 breaks down in water, the hollow part 100 can maintain a sealed state throughout. In this embodiment, a gap communicating with the surface of the body 10 may be partially provided between the shaft portion 21 and the first engaged portion 14.
[0034] Line eye 30 has an engagement ring 31, a line connecting ring 32, and a shaft body 33. Shaft body 33 has engagement ring 31 at one end and line connecting ring 32 at the other end. Engagement ring 31 and shaft body 33 are inserted into and engaged with second engagement hole 15a that opens at front end 10a of body 10. Second engagement hole 15a is a recess formed in approximately the same shape as engagement ring 31 and shaft body 33 that engage with body 10. Line connecting ring 32 protrudes forward from front end 10a of body 10, and a fishing line 34 is connected to it.
[0035] The second engaging hole 15a is included in a part of the second engaged part 15. The second engaged part 15 is provided in the solid head 11 of the body 10, and is provided in a position separated from the hollow part 100. Therefore, even if either the engaging part 31 or the second engaged part 15 breaks down in water, the hollow part 100 can maintain a sealed state throughout. In this embodiment, a gap communicating with the surface of the body 10 may be partially provided between the line connecting ring 32 and the second engaged portion 15.
[0036] The sinker 40 is sandwiched between the two halves of the body 10 at the head-side lower portion of the trunk 12 of the body 10. The sinker 40 has a through-hole 40a, and is fixed to the body 10 by a fixing pin 41 that is inserted into an engagement hole 16a that penetrates each of the two halves of the body 10 and engages with the through-hole 40a.
[0037] The engagement hole 16a is included in a part of the third engaged portion 16. The third engaged portion 16 is a portion of the body 10 that clamps the sinker 40 of the trunk portion 12, and is provided at a position separated from the hollow portion 100. Therefore, even if the fixing pin 41 or the third engaged portion 16 breaks down in water, the hollow portion 100 can maintain a sealed state throughout. In this embodiment, a gap communicating with the surface of the body 10 may be partially provided between the fixing pin 41 and the third engaged portion 16.
[0038] Next, the operation of the lure 1 configured as above will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. The lure 1 according to this embodiment has an attachment member (umbrella hook 20, line eye 30, and sinker 40) having an engaging portion (shank 21, engaging ring 31, and fixing pin 41) that engages with the body 10, and engaged portions 14, 15, and 16 that respectively cover the engaging portions (shank 21, engaging ring 31, and fixing pin 41) on the body 10. At least one of the engaging portion (shank 21, engaging ring 31, and fixing pin 41) and the engaged portions 14, 15, and 16 is made of a material that can be decomposed in water.
[0039] According to the fishing lure 1 of this embodiment, at least one of the shaft 21 of the umbrella hook 20, the engagement ring 31 of the line eye 30, and the fixed pin 41 of the sinker 40 attached to the body 10 of the fishing lure 1, and the engaged portions 14, 15, and 16 of the body 10 that engage with each of them are made of a material that can be decomposed in water, such as biodegradable resin. Therefore, when the fishing lure 1 is continuously immersed in water (underwater), the engaged portions 14, 15, and 16 made of a material that can be decomposed in water will decompose. For example, if the material that can be decomposed in water is a biodegradable resin, the engaged portions 14, 15, and 16 will biodegrade. Therefore, the engagement between the shaft 21, engagement ring 31, and fixing pin 41 and the engaged parts 14, 15, and 16 is released, and even if the lure 1 gets snagged on a bottom, the body 10 is separated from the umbrella hook 20, line eye 30, and sinker 40 by disassembling at least one of the engaging parts (shank 21, engagement ring 31, and fixing pin 41) and the engaged parts 14, 15, and 16, making it possible to release at least the body 10 of the lure 1 from the snagged state. Note that if the shaft 21 is made of a material that can be disassembled in water, it is possible that only the umbrella hook 20 will remain in the water.
[0040] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the body 10 is separated from the attachment members (umbrella hook 20, line eye 30, and sinker 40) that have become snagged by utilizing the decomposition of parts that can be decomposed in water, which differs from conventional configurations in which the breaking strength of the attachment members is set to be equal to or less than the strength of the fishing line, and the attachment members are destroyed when snagged, allowing the body to be retrieved. Therefore, with the lure 1 of this embodiment, the strength of the engagement parts between the umbrella hook 20, line eye 30, and sinker 40 and the body 10 can be sufficiently ensured, and large fish can be caught without the attachment members breaking, just like with ordinary lures.
[0041] In this embodiment, gaps that communicate with the surface of the body 10 are provided between the engaging portions (shaft portion 21, engaging ring 31, and fixing pin 41) and the corresponding engaged portions 14, 15, and 16, respectively. With this configuration, if lure 1 remains underwater (underwater), water will seep into the gaps between shank 21, engaging ring 31, and fixing pin 41 and the corresponding engaged portions 14, 15, and 16 from the surface of body 10, further promoting disassembly of engaged portions 14, 15, and 16. As a result, the gaps between engaged portion 14 and shank 21, between engaged portion 15 and engaging ring 31, and between engaged portion 16 and fixing pin 41 will become larger, causing loosening and making it easier for shank 21, engaging ring 31, and fixing pin 41 to disengage from engaged portions 14, 15, and 16.
[0042] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the second engaged portion 15 of the body 10 that engages with the engaging ring 31 of the line eye 30 disintegrates underwater (in the sea), so it can be separated from the body 10 underwater (in the sea). This allows the lure 1 to be released from a snagged state even if a weight or the like attached to the line side gets snagged on a bottom.
[0043] In this embodiment, the shaft portion 21 of the umbrella needle 20 is a pin member that engages the umbrella needle 20 with the first engaged portion 14. As a result, at least one of the shaft portion 21 and the first engaged portion 14 of the body 10 disassembles underwater (in the sea), so that the umbrella hook 20 can be separated from the body 10 underwater (in the sea).
[0044] In this embodiment, the body 10 has a hollow portion 100. The engaged portions 14, 15, and 16 are separated from the hollow portion 100. With this configuration, even when at least one of the shaft portion 21, engagement ring 31, fixing pin 41, and engaged portions 14, 15, 16 that form the engaging portion disassembles underwater, no hole is formed that connects the hollow portion 100 of the body 10 to the outside. Therefore, even if disassembly progresses, even when the umbrella hook 20, line eye 30, and sinker 40 are detached from the body 10 due to disassembly of at least one of the engaging portion and engaged portion, the hollow portion 100 of the body 10 makes it easier for the body 10 to float up, and the body 10 can be efficiently released from a snagged state.
[0045] In addition, in this embodiment, the buoyancy of the body 10 is greater than its weight. As a result, after the engagement with the umbrella hook 20, the line eye 30, and the sinker 40 is released, the body 10 floats up due to its buoyancy and can be washed ashore and recovered.
[0046] In this embodiment, the material that can be decomposed in water is a marine biodegradable resin. As a result, even if the lure 1 gets snagged on a rock or otherwise remains in the sea unintentionally by the angler, at least one of the engaging portions (shaft 21, engaging ring 31 and fixing pin 41) of the attachment member (umbrella hook 20, line eye 30, sinker 40) and the engaged portions 14, 15 and 16 of the body 10 of the lure 1 can biodegrade and release the engagement with the umbrella hook 20, line eye 30 and sinker 40. Furthermore, since the engaging portion (shaft 21, engaging ring 31, and fixing pin 41) or the engaged portions 14, 15, and 16 are made of marine biodegradable resin, even if the area of each portion that comes into contact with seawater is small, seawater will spread throughout the entirety of at least one of the engaging portion (shaft 21, engaging ring 31, and fixing pin 41) and the engaged portions 14, 15, and 16 due to capillary action, allowing at least one of the engaging portion (shaft 21, engaging ring 31, and fixing pin 41) and the engaged portions 14, 15, and 16 to be efficiently biodegraded.
[0047] In the lure 1 of this embodiment configured as described above, the strength of the engagement parts between the body 10 and the attachment parts, i.e., the umbrella hook 20, the line eye 30 and the sinker 40, can be ensured, while the lure 1 that has become snagged on a bottom can be released from the snagged state.
[0048] (Second embodiment) FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a lure 1A according to the second embodiment. As shown in Fig. 3, the lure 1A of the second embodiment has a body 10A in which a hook eye 30 similar to that of the first embodiment is provided at the front end 10a of the head 11, a tail hook eye 50 is provided at the rear end 10b of the tail 13, and a body hook eye 60 is provided on the underside 12a of the body 12. The hook eye 30 has the same configuration as that of the first embodiment described above, so a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0049] The body 10A has engaged portions 17, 18 that respectively cover a portion of the tail hook eye 50 (first engaging member 51, described below) and a portion of the body hook eye 60 (second engaging member 61, described below). At least one of the first engaging member 51, second engaging member 61, and the engaged portions 17, 18 of the body 10A are formed from a biodegradable resin material that can be decomposed in water. The biodegradable resin may be the same as the material exemplified in the first embodiment.
[0050] The tail hook eye 50 has a first engagement member 51 (engagement portion) and a first hook connecting ring 52. The first engagement member 51 is inserted into and engaged with a fourth engagement hole 17a that opens into the rear end portion 10b of the body 10A. The fourth engagement hole 17a is a recess formed in approximately the same shape as the first engagement member 51 that engages with the body 10A. The first hook connecting ring 52 protrudes rearward from the rear end portion 10b of the body 10A, and a fishhook (hook) 53 is connected to it.
[0051] The fourth engaging hole 17a is included in a part of the fourth engaged portion 17. The fourth engaged portion 17 is provided in the solid tail portion 13 of the body 10A, and is provided at a position separated from the hollow portion 100. Therefore, even if at least one of the first engaging member 51 and the fourth engaged portion 17 breaks down in water, the hollow portion 100 can maintain a sealed state throughout. In this embodiment, a gap may be partially provided between the first engaging member 51 and the fourth engaged portion 17, the gap communicating with the surface of the body 10A.
[0052] The body hook eye 60 has a second engagement member 61 (engagement portion) and a second hook connecting ring 62. The second engagement member 61 is inserted into and engaged with a fifth engagement hole 18a that opens into the underside 12a of the body 12 of the body 10A. The fifth engagement hole 18a is a recess formed in approximately the same shape as the second engagement member 61 that engages with the body 10A. The second hook connecting ring 62 protrudes downward from the underside 12a of the body 10A, and a fishhook (hook) 63 is connected to it.
[0053] The fifth engaging hole 18a is included in part of the fifth engaged portion 18. The fifth engaged portion 18 is provided on the underside 12a of the trunk portion 12 of the body 10A, and is provided in a position separated from the hollow portion 100. Therefore, even if at least one of the second engaging member 61 and the fifth engaged portion 18 breaks down in water, the hollow portion 100 can maintain a sealed state throughout. In this embodiment, a gap communicating with the surface of the body 10A may be partially provided between the second engaging member 61 and the fifth engaged portion 18. The head portion 11, the trunk portion 12, and the tail portion 13 of the body 10A may each be separated, and each portion may be provided to be able to swing freely relative to one another in the left-right direction X2.
[0054] Although the embodiments of the lure according to the present invention have been described above, these embodiments are presented as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. The embodiments can be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. The embodiments and their modifications include, for example, those that can be easily imagined by a person skilled in the art, those that are substantially the same, and those that are equivalent.
[0055] For example, in the above embodiment, the umbrella hook 20 (hook), line eye 30, hook eye 50, 60, and sinker 40 are given as examples of attachment members, but they are not limited to these. In short, any attachment member that is provided separately from the lure body and attached from the outside of the body will suffice, and there are no particular limitations on the function, type, size, etc. of the attachment member.
[0056] Furthermore, although a pin-shaped pin member is used as the shape of engagement between the engaging portion and the engaged portion of the body in the shaft 21 of the umbrella needle 20 of the first embodiment, the shape of engagement is not limited to this. In other words, although the pin shape as described above has the advantage that the pin-shaped engaging portion can be easily released from the body when at least one of the engaging portion and the engaged portion is disassembled, since the attachment member and the body can be released simply by disassembling at least one of the engaging portion and the engaged portion, other shapes other than a pin shape, such as a line eye or hook eye, may also be used.
[0057] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the engaged portion is separate from the hollow portion of the body, but this is not limiting, and the engaged portion may be connected to the hollow portion of the body.
[0058] Furthermore, the configuration of the lure, such as its shape and number of divisions, and the shape, number, and attachment position of the hooks attached to the lure can be changed as appropriate.
[0059] While various biomass plastics have been mentioned as examples of marine biodegradable resins, the materials themselves do not have to be derived from living organisms. For example, PBSA, PCL, PA4, or biodegradable materials with additives that impart marine biodegradability are possible.
[0060] Furthermore, materials that can be decomposed in water are not limited to marine biodegradable resins, but may also be metallic materials with low environmental impact, such as magnesium. [Explanation of symbols]
