Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a combination and / or structure of a damaged hair improving agent and a hair cosmetic. The hair improving agent of the present invention includes a combination and / or structure of a damaged hair improving agent and a hair cosmetic. [Background technology]
[0002] In recent years, hair damage caused by chemical treatments such as hair dyes and perms, or physical treatments such as friction and heat, has become a major problem. Therefore, how to improve this damaged hair is a major issue, and various companies are conducting research into improving and repairing the quality of damaged hair. Here, improving hair damage means improving so-called hair that is difficult to run your fingers through and dry hair, giving the hair a smooth and slippery feel, making it easy to run your fingers through, and eliminating the dry feeling.
[0003] A conventional method for improving such damaged hair is to apply a high molecular weight dimethylpolysiloxane and a low viscosity silicone to the hair to impart smoothness and a moisturized feel to the hair (Patent Document 1). On the other hand, as hair coloring has become commonplace, there are concerns that using hair care products containing a high concentration of silicone oil may reduce the effectiveness of hair dyes or permanent agents, and so silicone-free formulations are in demand. As a result, non-silicone shampoo formulations (Patent Documents 2 and 3) and silicone-free hair care conditioning agents have been developed (Patent Document 4).
[0004] Furthermore, the market for natural cosmetics is growing, and many hair cosmetics using vegetable oils and plant-derived ingredients are now being used. One known method for improving the feel of hair involves combining one or more vegetable oils selected from olive oil, meadowfoam oil, and camellia japonica oil with pentaerythrityl tetra-2-ethylhexanoate, which improves manageability at the ends of hair, provides an oily feel to the touch, and imparts softness (Patent Document 5). Vegetable oils have a higher affinity for skin and hair than mineral oils, but are prone to oxidation and therefore have poor storage stability. Oxidized vegetable oils are known to cause pigmentation on the skin. Furthermore, vegetable oils pose various challenges, such as price fluctuations, due to fluctuations in harvest yields caused by weather, resulting in unstable supply.
[0005] To address these issues with conventional vegetable oils, a hair wax formulation has been disclosed that uses a dimer dilinoleic acid derivative in combination with a (diglycerin / dilinoleic acid / hydroxystearic acid) copolymer and a (polyglyceryl-2 isostearate / dimer dilinoleic acid) copolymer, in combination with dimethicone (Patent Document 6). [0007] While various silicones increase the lubricity of hair, there are concerns that residual adsorption may affect the effectiveness of treatments such as coloring and perming, and the reduction in dryness of damaged hair is only temporary, and the manageability of hair is not fully satisfactory.
[0008] That is, the present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and has an object to provide a hair improving agent that reduces the roughness and dryness of the hair surface and improves the manageability of hair. [Means for solving the problem]
[0009] The present inventors have conducted various investigations to solve the above-mentioned problems, and as a result, have found that the above-mentioned problems can be solved by applying to hair a composition having a structure containing one or more substances selected from the group consisting of dimer acid derivatives that are in a highly viscous liquid or paste state at 25°C, and have thus completed the present invention.
