Abstract
To provide a control device for an electric stepping motor for an electronic movement for watch.SOLUTION: A control device 100 for an electric stepping motor 9 for an electronic movement for watch includes a first coil 1, a second coil 2, a stator 4, and a rotor 5. The control device 100 generates a set of first drive pulses IM1 for the first coil 1 and generates a set of second drive pulses IM2 for the second coil 2, and applies energy simultaneously to the first coil 1 and the second coil 2. The control device generates the set of first drive pulses IM1 having a phase opposite to that of the set of second drive pulses IM2 in order to rotate the rotor 5 in a first direction with first torque in a first operation mode. The control device 100 generates the set of first drive pulses IM1 having the same phase as that of the set of second drive pulses IM2 in order to rotate the rotor 5 in a second direction opposite to the first direction with second torque in a second operation mode.
