AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

The construction of first floors and waist walls of buildings using cast-in-place concrete is complex, requiring diverse management of concrete quality, on-site labor, and results in longer construction periods due to rebar work, formwork, and plastering, exacerbated by labor shortages.

Method used

A construction method using a ground improvement body and precast concrete plates with protruding reinforcing bars or roughened surfaces, where the space between the ground improvement body and precast concrete plates is filled with filler material to construct the first floor or waist wall of a building.

Benefits of technology

This method enables efficient construction of first floors and waist walls by reducing on-site labor and construction time, while improving the bond strength between the precast concrete plates and filler material, and minimizing the amount of reinforcement and concrete required.

Abstract

To efficiently construct a first stage floor and spandrel walls of a building in a foundation structure of the building having a ground improvement body in which a surface ground is improved.SOLUTION: A first stage floor F of a building is constructed using a structure body A in which a surface 2A of a precast concrete plate 2 with protruding reinforcing bars T is placed opposite an upper surface 1A of a ground improvement body 1, and a space D1 between the ground improvement body 1 and the concrete plate 2 is filled with a filler material 4. A spandrel wall W of the building is constructed using a structure body B in which a surface 3A of a precast concrete plate 3 with protruding reinforcing bars T is placed opposite a side surface 1B of the ground improvement body 1, and a space D2 between the ground improvement body 1 and the concrete plate 3 is filled with a filler material 5. By using the precast concrete plates 2, 3, the first stage floor F and the spandrel wall W of the building can be constructed efficiently while reducing labor on site. This solves the problems of complicated and diverse management of cast-in-place concrete, as well as the problem of longer construction periods.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
