Abstract
To identify characteristics and trends of a driver's caution state.SOLUTION: A driving support system includes: a biological information measurement unit including an electroencephalogram sensor configured to measure a potential based on an electroencephalogram signal of a driver and a line-of-sight detection unit configured to detect a line of sight of the driver; a caution state calculation unit configured to, when the line-of-sight detection unit determines that the driver is looking at a predetermined place, set a predetermined section based on a timing at which the driver is looking, and calculate a potential measured by the electroencephalogram sensor in the predetermined section; and a caution state evaluation unit that evaluates a caution state at a timing when the driver is looking based on an amplitude peak value of a potential measured by the electroencephalogram sensor in the predetermined section and a time from the timing when the driver is looking at the predetermined place to the timing of reaching the peak.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
