Abstract

This application provides an information processing method, including: displaying a playback page of a first multimedia content belonging to a first multimedia content collection, and displaying prompt information for notifying that there is an update in the favorite multimedia content collection on the playback page; and in response to a trigger operation on the prompt information, displaying information of the favorite multimedia content collection with the update. As can be understood, this solution can display the prompt information on the playback page to notify the user that there is an update in the favorite multimedia content collection. Further, in response to the trigger operation on the prompt information, the information of the favorite multimedia content collection with the update can be displayed so that the user can confirm which favorite multimedia content has the update. The operation that the user needs to perform to confirm that there is an update in the multimedia content collection added to their favorites is simple, improving the user experience.
