(2) In the method for transporting and storing items of the above aspect, the pallet may include at least one first insertion hole formed in the first member and extending in the first direction. When switching the pallet from the first state to the second state or from the second state to the first state, a claw of a transport device may be inserted into the first insertion hole, and the claw inserted into the first insertion hole may be rotated around a claw rotation center line. According to this method for transporting and storing items, the pallet can be made to have a simple structure, and the arrangement of the items placed in the storage space of the pallet can be switched in a simple manner. (3) In the method for transporting and storing articles of the above aspect, the pallet may include at least one first insertion hole formed in the first member and extending in the first direction, and at least one second insertion hole formed in the second member and extending in the first direction.
