Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a PTP packaging sheet used as a lid material for PTP packages, and a method for producing the same. [Background technology]
[0002] As shown in Figure 3(a), a PTP (press through package) is a packaging form in which a small solid object 14 is placed in a storage section 12a formed in a resin container sheet 12, and the storage section 12a is closed by attaching a packaging sheet 16 to the flat section 12b of the container sheet 12. Conventionally, the PTP has been widely used for packaging solid objects such as medicinal tablets and capsules.
[0003] In a conventional PTP package 10, when the contained solid material 14 is removed, the solid material 14 is pressed strongly from the outside of the containing section 12a against the inner surface of the packaging sheet 16, thereby breaking through the packaging sheet 16 and removing the solid material, and conventional packaging sheets 16 are usually made of a single-layer aluminum foil as a base material. When attaching the packaging sheet 16 to the container sheet 12, a method is used in which a heat seal layer provided on one side of the packaging sheet 16 is brought into contact with the flat portion 12b of the container sheet 12, and heat is applied from the side of the heat-resistant coating layer provided on the other side of the packaging sheet 16, thereby fusing the heat seal layer to the flat portion 12b.
[0004] On the other hand, some medicines are easily deformed or broken when subjected to external pressure. When packaging these types of medicines, it is preferable that the PTP packaging be of the type that allows the medicine to be removed by rolling up the packaging sheet or cutting it with scissors or a cutter, rather than by piercing the packaging sheet. Furthermore, from the viewpoint of protecting the medicine more safely, it is preferable that the packaging sheet is not easily torn.
[0005] Conventionally, as shown in Patent Document 1, for example, there has been a PTP package (pouch for packaging tablets) in which a lid material is sealed to the top surface of a container sheet while providing easy-peel properties. The lid material shown in Figure 4 of Patent Document 1 is a laminate in which an easy-peel film, aluminum foil, and PET film are layered in this order when viewed from the side that is joined to the container sheet. The PET film serves to make the aluminum foil less likely to tear when the lid material is peeled up. In addition, it is also described that an overcoat may be provided on the outer surface of the PET film. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0006] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 11-314667 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0007] A typical packaging sheet manufacturing apparatus 38 shown in Figure 3(b) has a function of receiving a substrate 17 and forming multiple functional layers on the front and back surfaces of the substrate, as disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2023-88534 (Figures 2 and 3) filed by the present applicant. More specifically, the substrate 17 wound around a roll is received, and multiple functional layers are sequentially formed on the front and back surfaces of the substrate using multiple functional layer forming devices. The finished packaging sheet 16 is then wound around a roll and transported. Examples of functional layers include a heat-resistant coating layer, a heat-sealing layer, and an information printing section. The functional layer forming device includes an applicator that applies a coating liquid (such as a heat-resistant coating agent) to form each layer, a drying oven that dries the applied coating liquid, and the like.
[0008] This type of packaging sheet manufacturing apparatus is usually based on the premise that the substrate 17 is a single-layer aluminum foil, as in conventional packaging sheets 16, and therefore each functional layer forming apparatus is designed to be suitable for laminating and forming each functional layer on the aluminum base on the front and back surfaces of the substrate 17.
[0009] However, in the case of the lid material of Patent Document 1, the base material is a laminate of a PET film and an aluminum foil, which requires a step of forming a functional layer such as a heat-resistant coating layer on the outer surface of the PET film, which may make it impossible to manufacture using existing packaging sheet manufacturing equipment.
[0010] The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned background art, and aims to provide a packaging sheet that is extremely tear-resistant and can be easily manufactured using existing packaging sheet manufacturing equipment, and a method for manufacturing the same. [Means for solving the problem]
[0011] The present invention provides a PTP packaging sheet comprising a substrate, a heat-resistant coating layer located on a first surface of the substrate, and a heat-seal layer located on a second surface of the substrate, the second surface of the substrate being heat-bonded to a mating container sheet to form a lid for a PTP package, the substrate being a laminate of a resin film and two aluminum foils laminated and bonded to cover the front and back surfaces of the resin film, respectively. The heat-seal layer may be, for example, an easy-peel seal layer.
[0012] The present invention also relates to a method for producing a PTP packaging sheet comprising a substrate, a heat-resistant coating layer located on the surface of a first surface of the substrate, and a heat-seal layer located on the surface of a second surface of the substrate, the second surface of the substrate being thermally bonded to a mating container sheet to form a lid for a PTP package, the method comprising: a substrate preparation step for preparing a substrate that is a laminate of a resin film and two pieces of aluminum foil laminated to cover the front and back surfaces of the resin film, respectively; and a functional layer formation step for forming a plurality of functional layers including the heat-resistant coating layer and the heat-seal layer using a packaging sheet production apparatus with the same specifications as when the substrate is a single layer of aluminum foil. The heat-seal layer may, for example, be an easy-peel seal layer. [Effects of the Invention]
[0013] According to the PTP packaging sheet and its manufacturing method of the present invention, a PTP packaging sheet that has a simple structure but is extremely tear-resistant can be easily manufactured using existing packaging sheet manufacturing equipment. [Brief explanation of the drawings]
[0014] [Figure 1] 1A is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing one embodiment of the PTP packaging sheet of the present invention, and FIG. 1B is a schematic diagram showing one embodiment of a method for producing the PTP packaging sheet of the present invention. [Figure 2] 1(a) and 1(b) are enlarged cross-sectional views showing two modified examples of the PTP packaging sheet shown in FIG. 1(a). [Figure 3] 1A is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of a typical PTP package, and FIG. 1B is a schematic diagram showing a conventional method for manufacturing a PTP packaging sheet. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0015] An embodiment of the PTP packaging sheet and its manufacturing method of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. The PTP packaging sheet 18 of this embodiment (hereinafter referred to as packaging sheet 18) is attached to a container sheet 12 as shown in Figure 3(a) to form a lid material for a PTP package 20.
[0016] First, to briefly explain the container sheet 12, the material of the container sheet 12 can be, for example, polyvinyl chloride resin (PVC resin), polypropylene resin (PP resin), polyethylene terephthalate resin (PET resin), composite resin obtained by laminating these resins, etc. The container sheet 12 is manufactured, for example, by preparing a flat, strip-shaped resin sheet, embossing the inside thereof, and then punching it out to an appropriate size.
[0017] The packaging sheet 18 comprises a base material 22, a heat-resistant coating layer 24 covering the first surface 22a side of the base material 22, and a heat-seal layer 26 covering the second surface 22b side of the base material 22, and the second surface 22b side of the base material 22 is heat-bonded to the container sheet 12.
[0018] The substrate 22 is a laminate of a resin film 28 and two aluminum foils 30(1), 30(2) laminated and bonded to cover the front and back surfaces of the resin film 28. The resin film 28 can be made of polyethylene terephthalate film (PET film), biaxially oriented polypropylene film (OPP film), biaxially oriented nylon film (ONY film), polyvinyl chloride film (PVC film), cellophane film, or the like, and preferably has a thickness in the range of 9 to 25 μm. The aluminum foils 30(1), 30(2) are preferably soft or hard foils each having a thickness of 7 to 20 μm.
[0019] Single-layer aluminum foil becomes somewhat more tear-resistant if it is made thicker, but by laminating and bonding a resin film to the aluminum foil, it can become significantly more tear-resistant even if the aluminum foil is thin.
[0020] The heat-resistant coating layer 24 is a layer that is heated by direct contact with a heat seal bar when the packaging sheet 18 is thermally bonded to the container sheet 12. For example, the heat-resistant coating layer 24 has a resistance of 3 kgf / m when heated by a heat seal bar at 190 to 230°C. 2 The heat-resistant coating layer 24 is required to have heat resistance that satisfies the conditions such as no change in the surface state, such as discoloration, carbonization, or stickiness, when pressure is applied for 2 seconds. Therefore, it is preferable to use a coating agent whose main component is epoxy resin, nitrocellulose, or acrylic resin for the heat-resistant coating layer 24.
[0021] The heat-seal layer 26 is a layer that thermally bonds the packaging sheet 18 to the container body 12 and welds it to the flange portion 12b of the container body 12. For example, if the container sheet 12 is made of polyvinyl chloride resin (PVC resin), the material of the heat-seal layer 26 is preferably a mixture containing polyvinyl chloride resin (PVC resin) as the main component and acrylic or polyester resin. Furthermore, if the container sheet 12 is made of polypropylene resin (PP resin), the material of the heat-seal layer 26 is also preferably made of polypropylene resin (PP resin) as the main component. Furthermore, if the container sheet 12 is made of polyethylene terephthalate resin (PET resin), the material of the heat-seal layer 26 is also preferably made of polyethylene terephthalate resin (PET resin) as the main component.
[0022] The peel strength when welded to the container sheet 12 varies depending on the type and compounding ratio of the additives added to the heat sealant, so it is advisable to use different materials depending on whether you want to weld firmly as in the past or weld with easy peeling properties. For strong welding, for example, use a heat seal bar at 140 to 160°C and apply a pressure of 2 to 3 kg / m 2 When heat-bonded with pressure applied for 1 second, the 2 Select a material that can provide a peel strength of 0.5 to 1 kgf / m or more. Also, when welding with easy peel properties, a material with a peel strength of 0.5 to 1 kgf / m is required while maintaining airtightness. 2 The following materials should be selected:
[0023] 1(b), the packaging sheet 18 is manufactured using a packaging sheet manufacturing apparatus 32. The packaging sheet manufacturing apparatus 32 is an existing apparatus, and as explained above in the section "Problems to be Solved by the Invention," it is assumed that the substrate is a single-layer aluminum foil, and therefore each functional layer forming apparatus has specifications suitable for laminating and forming each functional layer on the aluminum base on the front and back surfaces of the substrate.
[0024] The packaging sheet 18 is a laminate of the substrate 22, a resin film 28, and two aluminum foils 30(1), 30(2) laminated and bonded to cover the front and back surfaces of the resin film 28, so that the heat-resistant coating layer 24 and the heat-seal layer 26 are formed on the aluminum base on the front or back surface of the substrate 22. Therefore, the packaging paper sheet 18 can be produced without any problems, similar to the conventional packaging sheet 16, by using the existing packaging sheet manufacturing apparatus 32 and fine-tuning and optimizing the settings of the individual functional layer forming apparatuses.
[0025] As described above, according to the PTP packaging sheet 18 and its manufacturing method, a PTP packaging sheet 18 that has a simple structure but is extremely tear-resistant can be easily manufactured using an existing packaging sheet manufacturing apparatus 32.
[0026] The PTP packaging sheet and its manufacturing method of the present invention are not limited to the above-described embodiment. For example, the PTP packaging sheet 18 described above has two functional layers formed on the front and back surfaces of the substrate: the heat-resistant coating layer 24 and the heat-seal layer 26. However, other functional layers may be added.
[0027] For example, the PTP packaging sheet 34 shown in FIG. 2(a) has a structure in which an information printed section 36(1) displaying information such as letters, pictures, and barcodes is added to the outer surface of the aluminum foil 30(1), and then a transparent or translucent heat-resistant coating layer 24 is laminated thereon, so that the information printed section 36(1) can be seen through the heat-resistant coating layer 24. Similarly, an information printed section 36(2) can be added to the outer surface of the aluminum foil 30(2), and then a transparent or translucent heat-resistant coating layer 24 can be laminated thereon. In this case, if the container sheet 12 (not shown) is made of a transparent or translucent material, the information printed section 36(2) can be seen through the heat-seal layer 26 and the container sheet 12 when the PTP package 20 is formed.
[0028] The information printing sections 36(1), 36(2) can be formed by applying appropriate ink using a gravure coating method or an inkjet coating method, and may also be provided on a conventional packaging sheet 16. Therefore, the modified PTP packaging sheet 34 can also be easily manufactured using an existing packaging sheet manufacturing apparatus 32.
[0029] Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 2(b), a PTP packaging sheet 38 may be constructed in which the outer surface of the aluminum foil 30(1) is covered with a milky white printed layer 40, and the information printed portion 36(1) and the heat-resistant coating layer 24 are sequentially laminated on the outer surface. The provision of the milky white printed layer 40 moderately reduces reflection on the outer surface of the aluminum foil 30(1), making the display on the information printed layer 36(1) easier to see. For example, if the display on the information printed layer 36(1) is a barcode, it can be accurately read by a barcode reader. Furthermore, the milky white printed layer 24 moderately absorbs incident light from outside and also transmits a portion of the reflected light that reaches the aluminum foil 22, allowing the metallic color tone of the aluminum foil 22 to be adequately revealed, creating an appearance that conveys a sense of high quality and security.
[0030] The opaque white printed layer 40 can be formed, for example, by applying a liquid coating resin, which is a mixture of a medium, a printing diluent, and an ink containing a white pigment, to the surface of the aluminum foil 22 and drying it, and may also be provided on a conventional packaging sheet 16. Therefore, the modified PTP packaging sheet 38 can also be easily manufactured using an existing packaging sheet manufacturing apparatus 32. [Explanation of symbols]
