[0004] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2014-162535 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] Incidentally, in the pallet described in Patent Document 1, if the deck board is provided long, there is a risk that the deck board will bend significantly when the claws of a forklift are inserted under the central part of the deck board and lifted.
[0006] In view of the above circumstances, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a pallet that is less likely to bend when lifted by a forklift. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] A pallet according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a resin-made hollow structural support plate extending in a first direction, of which first and second directions are orthogonal in a plan view, and at least three legs attached to the underside of the support plate and positioned at intervals in the first direction. The pallet further includes a reinforcing member attached to the underside of the support plate and extending in the first direction. The at least three legs include a first leg and a second leg positioned at opposite ends in the first direction, and a third leg positioned between the first leg and the second leg. The upper surface of the third leg has a recess that accommodates a portion of the reinforcing member in the first direction and restricts positional deviation to both sides in the second direction. The reinforcing member is attached to the underside of the support plate by being supported by the third leg with the portion accommodated in the recess. [Effects of the Invention]
[0008] A pallet according to one aspect of the present disclosure is less likely to sag when lifted by a forklift. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0010] (One embodiment) 1. Overview As shown in FIG. 1 , a pallet 1 according to one embodiment includes a hollow resin support plate 2 extending in the first direction D1, of which first direction D1 and second direction D2 are orthogonal in a plan view. The support plate 2 also includes at least three legs 3 attached to the underside 20 of the support plate 2 and spaced apart in the first direction D1. The pallet 1 further includes a reinforcing member 4 attached to the underside 20 of the support plate 2 and extending in the first direction D1. The at least three legs 3 include a first leg 3a and a second leg 3b located at opposite ends in the first direction D1, and a third leg 3c located between the first leg 3a and the second leg 3b. The top surface 30 of the third leg 3c has a recess 31 that accommodates a portion of the reinforcing member 4 in the first direction D1 and prevents misalignment to either side in the second direction D2. The reinforcing member 4 is attached to the underside 20 of the support plate 2 by being supported by the third leg 3c with a portion accommodated in the recess 31.
[0011] In one embodiment of the pallet 1 having the above configuration, the underside 20 of the loading plate 2 extending in the first direction D1 is reinforced by the reinforcing member 4 extending in the first direction D1, so that the loading plate 2 is less likely to bend when a forklift lifts the central portion of the loading plate 2 in the first direction D1. Additionally, in the pallet 1 of one embodiment, a portion of the reinforcing member 4 in the first direction D1 is accommodated in the recess 31 in the upper surface 30 of the third leg 3c, and the reinforcing member 4 is supported by the third leg 3c and attached to the underside 20 of the loading plate 2 in a state where movement to both sides in the second direction D2 is restricted. Therefore, in the pallet 1 of one embodiment, the forklift's claws are less likely to collide with the reinforcing member 4 when inserting it below the loading plate 2, and even if a collision occurs, displacement of the reinforcing member 4 can be prevented, making it easier to maintain the reinforcing effect of the reinforcing member 4.
[0012] 2.Details Next, a more detailed description will be given of the pallet 1 of one embodiment shown in Fig. 1. The pallet 1 includes a hollow resin support plate 2 extending in the first direction D1 of a first direction D1 and a second direction D2 that are orthogonal to each other in a plan view, and at least three legs 3 attached to the lower surface 20 of the support plate 2 and positioned at intervals in the first direction D1. The pallet 1 further includes a reinforcing member 4 attached to the lower surface 20 of the support plate 2 and extending in the first direction D1.
[0013] In this embodiment, the mounting plate 2 is a flat plate having a rectangular shape in a plan view. The length of the mounting plate 2 in a first direction D1 is longer than the length of the mounting plate 2 in a second direction D2. In the following, each configuration will be described with the longitudinal direction of the mounting plate 2 in a plan view (i.e., the first direction D1) as the left-right direction, the lateral direction of the mounting plate 2 (i.e., the second direction D2) as the front-rear direction, and the thickness direction of the mounting plate 2 as the up-down direction.
[0014] 2-1.Placement plate The mounting plate 2 is a hollow structure made of resin. The length of the mounting plate 2 in the first direction D1 is at least twice the length of the second direction D2. The length of the mounting plate 2 in the first direction D1 is, for example, 2200 mm, the length of the mounting plate 2 in the second direction D2 is, for example, 1100 mm, and the thickness is, for example, 30 mm. Note that the size of the mounting plate 2 is not limited to the above size.
[0015] The mounting plate 2 is a hollow structural plate made of resin having a pair of skin layers spaced apart in the vertical direction, and a hollow core layer located between the pair of skin layers and joined to each of the pair of skin layers.
[0016] The core layer is, for example, a hollow body with a honeycomb structure in which regular hexagonal columns are arranged without gaps when viewed in the vertical direction. Note that the core layer is not limited to a honeycomb structure as long as it is a hollow body. In other words, the core layer may be a hollow body in which a plurality of cylindrical columns or polygonal columns other than hexagonal columns are arranged when viewed in the vertical direction.
[0017] The mounting plate 2 further includes a resin sealing layer that seals both end faces of the core layer in the first direction D1 and both end faces in the second direction D2. The core layer is thus covered by the sealing layer and is not exposed. The sealing layer may be one of a pair of skin layers.
[0018] The upper surface of the mounting plate 2 is flat. As shown in FIG. 3, a plurality of engagement recesses 21 are provided on the lower surface 20 of the mounting plate 2. The plurality of engagement recesses 21 are recesses for positioning at least three leg portions 3. Each of the plurality of engagement recesses 21 is formed by removing the skin layer and a portion of the core layer on the lower side of the mounting plate 2. Each of the plurality of engagement recesses 21 is a rectangular parallelepiped recess extending in the second direction D2 (i.e., the length in the second direction D2 is longer than the length in the first direction D1).
[0019] The depth (i.e., vertical length) of each of the multiple engagement recesses 21 is longer than the protruding length (i.e., vertical length) of the engagement protrusions 36 provided on the upper surfaces 30 of the legs 3. Therefore, when the engagement protrusions 36 are inserted into the engagement recesses 21, the upper surfaces 30 of the legs 3 can be brought into contact with the lower surface 20 of the mounting plate 2, preventing the occurrence of a gap therebetween. The depth of the engagement recesses 21 may be the same as the protruding length of the engagement protrusions 36, or may be slightly shorter.
[0020] In this embodiment, the depth of each of the plurality of engagement recesses 21 is equal to or greater than half the thickness of the mounting plate 2. This increases the effectiveness of positioning the legs 3 relative to the mounting plate 2. Note that the depth of each of the plurality of engagement recesses 21 may be less than half the thickness of the mounting plate 2. In this case, the legs 3 can be positioned, and a decrease in the rigidity of the mounting plate 2 can be easily prevented.
[0021] In this embodiment, three rows of sets of four engagement recesses 21 are provided on the underside 20 of the mounting plate 2 at intervals in the first direction D1, with the set of four engagement recesses 21 aligned in a row in the second direction D2. The two rows of engagement recesses 21 at both ends in the first direction D1 are positioned away from both ends of the underside 20 of the mounting plate 2 in the first direction D1. The central row of engagement recesses 21 in the first direction D1 is positioned midway in the first direction D1 on the underside 20 of the mounting plate 2. The number, size, and arrangement of the multiple engagement recesses 21 can be set appropriately according to the lengths of the mounting plate 2 in the first direction D1 and the second direction D2.
[0022] 2-2. Legs 1 and 2, at least three legs 3 are attached to the underside 20 of the loading plate 2 and are spaced apart in the first direction D1. The at least three legs 3 form a claw insertion space S1 between two legs 3 adjacent in the first direction D1, into which the claws of a forklift can be inserted. The at least three legs 3 support the loading plate 2 from below.
[0023] The at least three legs 3 include a first leg 3a and a second leg 3b located at both ends in the first direction D1, and a third leg 3c located between the first leg 3a and the second leg 3b. The leg 3 located at the left end is the first leg 3a, and the leg 3 located at the right end is the second leg 3b.
[0024] The top surface 30 of the third leg portion 3c has a recess 31 that receives a part of the reinforcing member 4 in the first direction D1 and restricts misalignment to both sides in the second direction D2.
[0025] The legs 3a, 3b, and 3c have the same length in the second direction D2. The lengths of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c in the second direction D2 are slightly shorter than the length of the mounting plate 2 in the second direction D2. The legs 3a, 3b, and 3c are attached to the underside 20 of the mounting plate 2 at positions spaced apart from both ends in the second direction D2. The thickness of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c (i.e., the length in the first direction D1) is longer than the thickness of the mounting plate 2 (i.e., the length in the up-down direction).
[0026] In this embodiment, as shown in Figures 4A to 4C, recesses 31 are formed in the upper surface 30 of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c. Figures 4A to 4C show side views of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c as viewed from the right. Three recesses 31 are formed in the upper surface 30 of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c.
[0027] As shown in Fig. 4B, in the third leg 3c, each of the three recesses 31 opens upward and on both left-right sides (i.e., both sides in the first direction D1). As shown in Fig. 4A, in the first leg 3a, each of the three recesses 31 opens upward and on one left-right side (the right side in this embodiment). As shown in Fig. 4C, in the second leg 3b, each of the three recesses 31 opens upward and on one left-right side (the left side in this embodiment).
[0028] Each of the three recesses 31 is provided in a shape that fits a part of the reinforcing member 4 in the first direction D1. In this embodiment, each of the three recesses 31 is a rectangular recess when viewed in the first direction D1.
[0029] More specifically, as shown in Fig. 4B, each of the three recesses 31 has a pair of side surfaces 310 facing each other in the second direction D2, and a bottom surface 311. A notch portion 312 that is cut out in the second direction D2 is provided at the lower end of each of the pair of side surfaces 310. The notch portions 312 of the pair of side surfaces 310 are continuous with the bottom surface 311.
[0030] In this way, the recess 31 has the notches 312 at the lower end of each of the pair of side surfaces 310, so that when the reinforcing member 4 is inserted into the recess 31, the reinforcing member 4 can abut against the bottom surface 311, and the legs 3 can stably support the reinforcing member 4. If the recess 31 does not have the notches 312 and the pair of side surfaces 310 and the bottom surface 311 are continuous via an arc-shaped surface, the reinforcing member 4 cannot abut against the bottom surface 311 of the recess 31, and it is difficult to stably support the reinforcing member 4 with the legs 3.
[0031] As shown in Fig. 4A, the first leg 3a has a restricting wall 32 facing one end surface in the first direction D1 of the reinforcing member 4. As shown in Fig. 4B, the second leg 3b has a restricting wall 32 facing the other end surface in the first direction D1 of the reinforcing member 4. In the first leg 3a, the restricting walls 32 are provided so as to be aligned on one side (more specifically, the left side) in the first direction D1 with respect to each of the three recesses 31. That is, in this embodiment, three restricting walls 32 are provided in the first leg 3a.
[0032] Similarly, in the second leg portion 3b, the restriction walls 32 are provided so as to be aligned on one side (more specifically, the right side) in the first direction D1 with respect to each of the three recesses 31. That is, in this embodiment, three restriction walls 32 are provided in the second leg portion 3b.
[0033] 5A shows a cross section of second leg 3b perpendicular to second direction D2. Each of legs 3a, 3b, and 3c is a hollow resin plate having a pair of skin layers 33 and 34 spaced apart in first direction D1, and a hollow core layer 35 located between and joined to each of the pair of skin layers 33 and 34.
[0034] The hollow core layer 35 is, for example, a hollow body having a honeycomb structure in which regular hexagonal columns are arranged without gaps when viewed in the first direction D1. Note that the core layer 35 is not limited to a honeycomb structure as long as it is a hollow body. In other words, the core layer 35 may be a hollow body in which a plurality of cylindrical columns or polygonal columns other than hexagonal columns are arranged when viewed in the first direction D1.
[0035] In this embodiment, the core layer of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c is covered and hidden by a resin sealing layer at both ends in the second direction D2. The sealing layer is made of one of the skin layers 33 and 34 or another resin plate material.
[0036] In each of the first leg portion 3a and the second leg portion 3b, a recess 31 is provided in one of the pair of skin layers 33, 34 and the core layer 35, and at least a portion of the restriction wall 32 is formed by the other of the pair of skin layers 33, 34. In this embodiment, the other of the pair of skin layers 33, 34 forms the entire restriction wall 32. Note that, as in a modified example shown in FIG. 5B , the restriction wall 32 may be formed by the other of the pair of skin layers 33, 34 and a portion of the core layer 35. The recess 31 is formed by removing one of the pair of skin layers 33, 34 and at least a portion of the core layer 35.
[0037] 4A to 4C, the upper surface 30 of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c is provided with an engaging protrusion 36 that engages with the engaging recess 21 on the lower surface 20 of the mounting plate 2. The engaging protrusion 36 is shaped to fit into the engaging recess 21. In this embodiment, four engaging protrusions 36 are provided on the upper surface 30 of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c.
[0038] On the upper surface 30 of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c, one recess 31, two engaging protrusions 36, one recess 31, two engaging protrusions 36, and one recess 31 are positioned in this order, spaced apart in the second direction D2.
[0039] A cover 37 is attached to the lower end of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c to prevent the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c from being scraped or damaged. In this embodiment, the cover 37 is in the shape of a semi-rectangular tube, and its cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is U-shaped with an upward opening. The cover 37 is made of, for example, metal. However, the cover 37 may also be made of resin.
[0040] The cover 37 has the same length in the second direction D2 as the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c. The cover 37 is fixed to the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c with rivets. However, the cover 37 may be fixed by other means such as adhesive.
[0041] Each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c is integrated with the mounting plate 2 by being resin-welded to the lower surface 20 of the mounting plate 2 with the engaging protrusions 36 engaged with the engaging recesses 21.
[0042] 2-3. Reinforcement members 1 and 2, the reinforcing members 4 are attached to the lower surface 20 of the support plate 2 and extend in a first direction D1. In this embodiment, the pallet 1 includes three reinforcing members 4. Each of the three reinforcing members 4 extends in the first direction D1 (i.e., the length in the first direction D1 is longer than the length in the second direction D2).
[0043] The length in the first direction D1 of each of the three reinforcing members 4 is the length from the recess 31 of the first leg 3 a to the recess 31 of the second leg 3 b. In other words, the length in the first direction D1 of each of the three reinforcing members 4 is the same as or slightly shorter than the distance in the first direction D1 from the restriction wall 32 of the first leg 3 a to the restriction wall 32 of the second leg 3 b.
[0044] The cross-sectional shapes of the three reinforcing members 4 perpendicular to the first direction D1 are substantially the same as the cross-sectional shapes of the recesses 31 provided in the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c perpendicular to the first direction D1. The recesses 31 are shaped so that the reinforcing members 4 fit into them. As shown in FIG. 6 , in this embodiment, each of the three reinforcing members 4 has a rectangular tubular shape. The cross-sectional shape of each of the three reinforcing members 4 perpendicular to the first direction D1 is rectangular, more specifically, a rectangular shape. The length of each of the three reinforcing members 4 in the second direction D2 is slightly longer than the length in the up-down direction.
[0045] Each of the three reinforcing members 4 is made of metal. Each of the three reinforcing members 4 is formed of a metal square pipe.
[0046] 3. How to assemble the pallet The pallet 1 having the above-described mounting plate 2, the three legs 3a, 3b, 3c, and the three reinforcing members 4 is assembled, for example, as follows.
[0047] First, the mounting plate 2 is placed so that the lower surface 20 faces upward (see FIG. 3).
[0048] 7A, three reinforcing members 4 are placed on the mounting plate 2. At this time, each of the three reinforcing members 4 is placed at a position on the mounting plate 2 so as not to overlap with the multiple engagement recesses 21. Each of the three reinforcing members 4 is placed so that its longitudinal direction is parallel to the first direction D1.
[0049] Next, as shown in Fig. 7B, the three legs 3a, 3b, and 3c are placed on the mounting plate 2. At this time, the engaging protrusions 36 (see Figs. 4A to 4C) of the three legs 3a, 3b, and 3c are inserted into the corresponding engaging recesses 21 of the mounting plate 2 (see Fig. 8). Then, reinforcing members 4 are inserted into the recesses 31 of the three legs 3a, 3b, and 3c (see Fig. 9). Each of the multiple reinforcing members 4 is disposed between the restricting wall 32 of the first leg 3a and the restricting wall 32 of the second leg 3b.
[0050] 7C, the contact portions of each of the three legs 3a, 3b, and 3c with the lower surface 20 of the support plate 2 are joined by resin welding. At this time, both end faces of each of the three legs 3a, 3b, and 3c in the first direction D1 and both end faces in the second direction D2 are joined to the lower surface 20 of the support plate 2 via welds 5 (see FIG. 10).
[0051] By joining each of the three legs 3a, 3b, and 3c to the support plate 2 by resin welding, each of the three reinforcing members 4 is sandwiched between the three legs 3a, 3b, and 3c and the support plate 2 and attached to the underside 20 of the support plate 2.
[0052] In this manner, the pallet 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is assembled.
[0053] 4. Effects In the pallet 1 of this embodiment described above, a plurality of reinforcing members 4 extending in the first direction D1 are attached to the underside 20 of the loading plate 2. Therefore, in the pallet 1 of this embodiment, when the claws of a forklift are inserted below the center of the loading plate 2 in the first direction D1 (i.e., the left and right claw insertion spaces S1 of the third leg 3c) to lift the pallet 1, the plurality of reinforcing members 4 can prevent the loading plate 2 from bending so that both ends of the loading plate 2 in the first direction D1 are positioned below the center of the loading plate 2 in the first direction D1.
[0054] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, multiple reinforcing members 4 are in contact with the underside 20 of the loading plate 2, and therefore the loading plate 2 can be directly supported by the multiple reinforcing members 4, making it easier to suppress deflection of the loading plate 2.
[0055] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, when lifted by a forklift, the forklift's claws hit the multiple reinforcing members 4, preventing them from coming into contact with the loading plate 2, thereby preventing damage to the underside 20 of the loading plate 2.
[0056] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, the multiple reinforcing members 4 are attached to the underside 20 of the loading plate 2, which makes it possible to reduce the downward protrusion length of the multiple reinforcing members 4 from the underside 20 of the loading plate 2. Therefore, in the pallet 1 of this embodiment, the multiple reinforcing members 4 are less likely to get in the way when inserting the claws of a forklift below the loading plate 2.
[0057] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, the multiple reinforcing members 4 are contained in the recesses 31 of the three legs 3a, 3b, and 3c in a state where positional deviation in the second direction D2 is restricted, so even if the forklift tines collide with the reinforcing members 4 when inserting them into the tine insertion space S1, it is possible to prevent the positions of the reinforcing members 4 from shifting relative to the loading plate 2. Therefore, in the pallet 1 of this embodiment, the reinforcing effect of the multiple reinforcing members 4 on the loading plate 2 can be easily maintained.
[0058] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, the multiple reinforcing members 4 are positioned between the regulating wall 32 of the first leg 3a and the regulating wall 32 of the second leg 3b, thereby preventing the multiple reinforcing members 4 from shifting in position in the first direction D1.
[0059] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, the openings at the longitudinal ends of each of the multiple reinforcing members 4 can be blocked by the regulating walls 32 of the legs 3a, 3b, thereby preventing water or debris from entering the reinforcing members 4 through the end openings.
[0060] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, the multiple reinforcing members 4 are positioned away from both ends of the loading plate 2 in the first direction D1 and also away from both ends of the loading plate 2 in the second direction D2. Therefore, in the pallet 1 of this embodiment, the multiple reinforcing members 4 are not very noticeable, and the loading plate 2 can be reinforced against bending without changing the appearance of the pallet 1.
[0061] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, the core layer 35 of each of the multiple legs 3 is not exposed at both end surfaces in the second direction D2, so the end surfaces of each leg 3 in the second direction D2 are less likely to be damaged by the claws of a forklift.
[0062] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, each of the multiple legs 3 is located more inward in the second direction D2 than both end surfaces in the second direction D2 of the loading plate 2. Therefore, in the pallet 1 of this embodiment, when the pallet 1 is lifted by the tines of a forklift, the multiple legs 3 do not hit the portion extending upward from the base of the tines of the forklift (i.e., the end on the opposite side from the protruding direction of the tines), and the multiple legs 3 are less likely to be damaged.
[0063] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, the lower ends of the multiple legs 3 are protected by covers 37, so that the multiple legs 3 can be prevented from being scraped and damaged by contact with the floor.
[0064] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, each of the multiple reinforcing members 4 can be attached to the underside 20 of the supporting plate 2 by fitting it into the recesses 31 of the multiple legs 3, so no dedicated fixing means such as adhesives or screws are required, making assembly easy.
[0065] In the pallet 1 of this embodiment, the mounting plate 2 and the plurality of legs 3 are each a hollow structure made of resin, so that the weight of the pallet 1 can be easily reduced.
[0066] 5. Variations Next, a description will be given of modified examples of the pallet 1 of the above-described embodiment. The following modified examples can be combined as appropriate.
[0067] The mounting plate 2 may be a hollow structure made of resin and extending in the first direction D1, and the shape of the mounting plate 2 in a plan view is not limited to a rectangle.
[0068] The at least three legs 3 may include four or more legs 3 in accordance with the length of the support plate 2 in the first direction D1.
[0069] The number of reinforcing members 4 provided on the pallet 1 is not limited to three. The number of reinforcing members 4 can be set appropriately according to the length of the mounting plate 2 in the second direction D2, etc.
[0070] Of the first leg 3a, the second leg 3b, and the third leg 3c, only the third leg 3c may have the recess 31. In this case, as in Modification 1 shown in Fig. 11A, the reinforcing member 4 may be provided to be shorter than the distance between the first leg 3a and the second leg 3b.
[0071] Each of the first leg 3a and the second leg 3b may not have the restricting wall 32, and each of the recess 31 of the first leg 3a and the recess 31 of the second leg 3b may be provided so as to open on both sides in the first direction D1. In this case, as in Modification 2 shown in Fig. 11B, the reinforcing member 4 may be provided with a length such that both ends in the first direction D1 are positioned further outward in the first direction D1 than the legs 3a and 3b.
[0072] The reinforcing member 4 does not have to be composed of a single member whose length extends from the recess 31 of the first leg 3a to the recess 31 of the second leg 3b, but may be composed of multiple members positioned side by side in the first direction D1, as in Modification 3 shown in Fig. 11C. In Modification 3, the reinforcing member 4 is composed of one member whose length extends from the recess 31 of the first leg 3a to the recess 31 of the third leg 3c, and another member whose length extends from the recess 31 of the third leg 3c to the recess 31 of the second leg 3b. A restricting wall may be provided in the recess 31 of the third leg 3c and positioned between the two members.
[0073] Each of the first leg 3a and the second leg 3b does not have to be a hollow resin structure having a pair of skin layers 33, 34 and a hollow core layer 35, but may be, for example, a solid resin structure or may be formed of a material other than resin. The same applies to the third leg 3c.
[0074] Both end faces of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c in the second direction D2 do not have to be sealed with a resin sealing layer. U-shaped covers that open inward in the second direction D2 may be attached to both ends of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c in the second direction D2.
[0075] Four or more recesses 31 may be provided on the top surface 30 of each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c, and the number of reinforcing members 4 provided on the pallet 1 may be selected according to the performance values required of the pallet 1. For example, three to five reinforcing members 4 may be selectively attached to five recesses 31 provided on each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c. The number of recesses 31 provided on each of the legs 3a, 3b, and 3c does not have to match the number of reinforcing members 4 provided on the pallet 1.
[0076] The lower surface 20 of the mounting plate 2 does not have to have a plurality of engaging recesses 21, and in this case, the third leg 3c and the other legs 3a and 3b do not have to have a plurality of engaging protrusions .
[0077] The longitudinal direction of the mounting plate 2 and the longitudinal direction of the reinforcing member 4 do not have to be parallel to each other, and may intersect at a slight angle.
[0078] The reinforcing member 4 is not limited to being made of metal, but may be made of resin, or may be formed by combining metal and resin. For example, the end portion of the reinforcing member 4 in the first direction D1 may be made of metal, and the remaining portion may be made of resin. Furthermore, the reinforcing member 4 may be any member that extends in the first direction D1, and the cross-sectional shape perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is not limited to a rectangular shape. The reinforcing member 4 is not limited to being a hollow pipe shape, but may also be a solid rod shape. When the reinforcing member 4 is a hollow pipe shape, the wall thickness (specifically, the distance between the inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface) can be set appropriately.
[0079] The reinforcing member 4 is not limited to being composed of a single member, but may be formed by connecting adjacent ends of a plurality of members aligned in the first direction D1 and extending in the first direction D1 with a connecting member. For example, the connecting member is provided in a tubular shape so as to fit onto the outer peripheral surfaces of adjacent ends of the plurality of members aligned in the first direction D1. In this case, a plate-shaped member may be disposed between the upper surfaces of the portions of the plurality of members not covered by the connecting member and the lower surface 20 of the mounting plate 2 to close the gap.
[0080] In addition, the outer surfaces of adjacent ends of the multiple members may be configured to have smaller outer dimensions than other parts, and the multiple members and the tubular connecting member may be connected so that their outer surfaces are aligned flush.
[0081] Furthermore, when each of the multiple members is tubular, the multiple members may be connected by fitting a tubular or solid rod-shaped connecting member inside the adjacent ends of the multiple members.
[0082] The engagement recess 21 is not limited to a rectangular parallelepiped recess extending in the second direction D2, but may be a T-shaped or cross-shaped recess viewed from below, and may be longer in the first direction D1 than the leg 3 and the engagement protrusion 36. In this case, when the engagement protrusion 36 is inserted into the engagement recess 21, a part of the engagement recess 21 is positioned outside the leg 3 in the first direction D1 and is exposed, and therefore, when the leg 3 and the mounting plate 2 are resin-welded, expanded air can escape through the air path formed by this exposed part.
[0083] For example, three engagement recesses 21 extending in the second direction D2 may be provided on the lower surface 20 of the mounting plate 2, arranged at intervals in the first direction D1, and multiple (i.e., two or more) engagement protrusions 36 may be inserted into one engagement recess 21.
[0084] Each of the three reinforcing members 4 may be temporarily fixed to the mounting plate 2 by resin welding, or each of the three leg portions 3a, 3b, 3c or a part thereof may be temporarily fixed to the mounting plate 2 by resin welding.
[0085] The pallet 1 may further include a protective plate attached so as to span the undersides of the multiple reinforcing members 4 between two legs 3 aligned in the first direction D1. In this case, the protective plate can prevent the forklift claws from hitting the reinforcing members 4, thereby suppressing damage to the reinforcing members 4.
[0086] Each of the three recesses 31 may have a notch 312 cut out downward at both ends in the second direction D2 of the bottom surface 311. In this case as well, when the reinforcing member 4 is inserted into the recess 31, the reinforcing member 4 can be placed against the bottom surface 311, and the leg portions 3 can stably support the reinforcing member 4.
[0087] (summary) As in the embodiment and its modified example described above, the pallet 1 of the first aspect has the following configuration.
[0088] That is, the pallet 1 of the first embodiment includes a resin-made hollow structure support plate 2 extending in the first direction D1, of which a first direction D1 and a second direction D2 are orthogonal in a plan view, and at least three legs 3 attached to the underside 20 of the support plate 2 and positioned at intervals in the first direction D1. The pallet 1 further includes a reinforcing member 4 attached to the underside 20 of the support plate 2 and extending in the first direction D1. The at least three legs 3 include a first leg 3a and a second leg 3b positioned at opposite ends in the first direction D1, and a third leg 3c positioned between the first leg 3a and the second leg 3b. The upper surface 30 of the third leg 3c has a recess 31 that accommodates a portion of the reinforcing member 4 in the first direction D1 and prevents misalignment to either side in the second direction D2. The reinforcing member 4 is attached to the underside 20 of the support plate 2 by being supported by the third leg 3c with a portion accommodated in the recess 31.
[0089] In the pallet 1 of the first embodiment having the above configuration, the underside 20 of the loading plate 2 extending in the first direction D1 is reinforced by the reinforcing member 4 extending in the first direction D1, so that the loading plate 2 is less likely to bend when the central portion of the loading plate 2 in the first direction D1 is lifted by the claws of a forklift. In addition, in the pallet 1 of the first embodiment, a portion of the reinforcing member 4 in the first direction D1 is accommodated in the recess 31 on the upper surface 30 of the third leg 3c, and the reinforcing member 4 is supported by the third leg 3c and attached to the underside 20 of the loading plate 2 in a state where movement to both sides in the second direction D2 is restricted. Therefore, in the pallet 1 of the first embodiment, the claws of a forklift are less likely to collide with the reinforcing member 4 when inserting the claws of a forklift below the loading plate 2, and even if a collision occurs, displacement of the reinforcing member 4 can be prevented, making it easier to maintain the reinforcing effect of the reinforcing member 4.
[0090] As in the embodiment and its modification described above, the pallet 1 of the second aspect additionally includes the following configuration in addition to the configuration of the first aspect.
[0091] That is, in the pallet 1 of the second embodiment, the first leg 3a, the second leg 3b, and the third leg 3c each have a recess 31. The reinforcing member 4 is housed in the recess 31 of the first leg 3a, the second leg 3b, and the third leg 3c.
[0092] In the second embodiment of the pallet 1 having the above configuration, the reinforcing member 4 is positioned from the first leg 3a to the second leg 3b, so that the underside 20 of the loading plate 2 can be supported over a long distance in the first direction D1, making it easier to prevent the loading plate 2 from bending when lifted by the claws of a forklift.
[0093] As in the embodiment and its modification described above, the pallet 1 of the third aspect additionally includes the following configuration in addition to the configuration of the second aspect.
[0094] That is, in the pallet 1 of the third embodiment, the first leg 3a further has a restricting wall 32 facing one end face in the first direction D1 of the reinforcing member 4. The second leg 3b further has a restricting wall 32 facing the other end face in the first direction D1 of the reinforcing member 4.
[0095] In the pallet 1 of the third embodiment having the above configuration, the restriction wall 32 of the first leg 3a and the restriction wall 32 of the second leg 3b can restrict positional displacement of the reinforcing member 4 in the first direction D1. Therefore, in the pallet 1 of the third embodiment, the position of the reinforcing member 4 relative to the mounting plate 2 is less likely to shift, making it easier for the reinforcing member 4 to maintain its reinforcing effect.
[0096] As in the embodiment and its modification described above, the pallet 1 of the fourth aspect additionally includes the following configuration in addition to the configuration of the third aspect.
[0097] That is, in the pallet 1 of the fourth embodiment, each of the first leg 3a and the second leg 3b is a plate material of a hollow structure made of resin, having a pair of skin layers 33, 34 spaced apart in the first direction D1, and a hollow core layer 35 located between the pair of skin layers 33, 34 and joined to each of the pair of skin layers 33, 34. A recess 31 is provided in one of the pair of skin layers 33, 34 and the core layer 35, and the other of the pair of skin layers 33, 34 constitutes at least a part of the regulating wall 32.
[0098] In the pallet 1 of the fourth embodiment having the above configuration, the first leg 3a and the second leg 3b are each a plate material with a hollow structure made of resin, which makes it easy to reduce the weight of the first leg 3a and the second leg 3b. Furthermore, in the pallet 1 of the fourth embodiment, the first leg 3a and the second leg 3b can be joined to the mounting plate 2 by resin welding, which makes it easy to integrate the first leg 3a and the second leg 3b with the mounting plate 2. Furthermore, in the pallet 1 of the fourth embodiment, the recess 31 and the restricting wall 32 can be formed easily by a simple method such as cutting out part of the resin legs 3a, 3b (one of the pair of skin layers 33, 34 and the core layer 35).
[0099] Furthermore, like the embodiment and its modified example described above, the pallet 1 of the fifth aspect additionally comprises the following configuration in addition to the configuration of any one of the first to fourth aspects.
[0100] That is, in the pallet 1 of the fifth embodiment, the lower surface 20 of the loading plate 2 has a plurality of engaging recesses 21. The upper surface 30 of the third leg 3c further has a plurality of engaging protrusions 36 that engage with the plurality of engaging recesses 21. Some of the plurality of engaging protrusions 36 and the recesses 31 are positioned side by side in the second direction D2.
[0101] In the pallet 1 of the fifth embodiment having the above configuration, the engaging recess 21 of the mounting plate 2 and the engaging protrusion 36 of the third leg 3c can be engaged with each other, making it easy to position the third leg 3c relative to the mounting plate 2 and also easy to position the reinforcing member 4 housed in the recess 31 of the third leg 3c. Furthermore, in the pallet 1 of the fifth embodiment, the engaging protrusion 36 and the recess 31 are positioned side by side in the second direction D2 on the upper surface 30 of the third leg 3c, making it easier to prevent misalignment of the recess 31. Therefore, in the pallet 1 of the fifth embodiment, it is easy to prevent misalignment of the reinforcing member 4 relative to the mounting plate 2 and to maintain the reinforcing effect of the reinforcing member 4.
[0102] The present disclosure has been described above based on the embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings, but the present disclosure is not limited to the above embodiments, and appropriate design changes are possible within the intended scope of the present disclosure.
