[0046] <Dosage form and amount of ingredients in the kit> Kits (1) to (3) will be described in more detail below. In kits (1) to (3), the dosage form of the solid composition in each kit can be a tablet, pellet, granule, fine granule, or powder. However, granules, fine granules, or powder are preferred from the viewpoint of ease of mixing with the other agent and cost during manufacturing.
[0047] Furthermore, while the aqueous composition of each kit can be in gel or liquid form, a gel form is preferred from the viewpoint of ease of use. The liquid agent has a viscosity at 25°C preferably less than 3000 mPa·s, and more preferably less than 4000 mPa·s. The gel-like agent has a viscosity at 25°C preferably 5000 Pa·s or more. This viscosity is measured, for example, by a viscometer (Brookfield RVT type). The amount of thickener in the liquid agent is preferably less than 0.05% by mass, more preferably less than 0.01% by mass, and particularly preferably less than 0.005% by mass. On the other hand, the amount of thickener in the gel-like agent is preferably 0.01% by mass or more, and more preferably 0.05% by mass or more.
[0048] <Solid composition of kits (1) to (3)> The preferred amounts of acid and carbon dioxide generating substance in the solid compositions of the kits (1) to (3) are as described above. The amount and content of the thickener in these compositions is preferably 0.01% to 20% by mass, particularly 0.05% to 15% by mass, when the other agent is in gel form, from the viewpoint of good foaming and carbon dioxide retention. When the other agent is in liquid form, it is preferably 0.01% to 30% by mass, particularly 0.05% to 25% by mass, when the other agent is in liquid form, from the viewpoint of ease of mixing with the liquid agent, foaming, and carbon dioxide retention.
[0049] The following methods can be used to granulate the solid compositions of kits (1) to (3).
[0050] When granules are obtained by granulating an acidic substance and / or a carbon dioxide generating substance as a mixture with other components, there are no particular restrictions on the content of the other components, but it is preferable that it be less than 95% by mass in the granules. If the other components are present in a content exceeding 95% by mass, the effervescence will be reduced, which is undesirable. The method for producing the above-mentioned powder or granules is not limited to this embodiment, and can be produced according to conventional methods such as dry crushing and granulation, wet crushing and granulation, fluidized bed granulation, high-speed stirring granulation, and extrusion granulation.
[0051] For example, in the production of granules, a matrix base material having functions such as granule molding may be used. When using a low-melting-point compound as the matrix base material, the carbon dioxide generating substance is added to the low-melting-point compound, which has been melted by heating in a container such as a beaker, and thoroughly stirred and mixed. Appropriate additives may be added as needed. This mixture is stirred further while gradually cooling at room temperature and left to stand until it solidifies. Once it has solidified to some extent, it may be rapidly cooled in a refrigerator or the like.
[0052] Alternatively, for example, the above material may be introduced into a fluidized bed granulator, mixed with airflow for several minutes, and then granulated by spraying water onto it.
[0053] If a low-melting-point compound is not used as the matrix base, the granulating agent is dissolved or dispersed in a suitable solvent such as water or ethanol in a container such as a beaker, the carbon dioxide generating substance is dissolved or dispersed in this mixture and thoroughly mixed, then heated in an oven or the like to remove the solvent and dry. Once completely solidified, it is crushed, sieved to standardize the particle size, and then obtained as granules.
[0054] <Hydrolyzed composition of kits (1) to (3)> The preferred amounts of carbon dioxide generating substance and acidic substance in the aqueous compositions ((B), (D), (F)) of kits (1) to (3) are as described above. Furthermore, the water content in the aqueous compositions of kits (1) to (3) is preferably 20% by mass or more, particularly 30% by mass or more, from the viewpoint of miscibility with the other agent ((A), (C), (E)) of each kit and foaming properties, and is preferably 95% by mass or less, particularly 90% by mass or less, from the viewpoint of improving the feel of use and improving skin condition.
[0055] In cases where the aqueous composition of the kits (1) to (3) contains a polyhydric alcohol, the proportion of the polyhydric alcohol in the aqueous composition is preferably 1% by mass or more, particularly 10% by mass or more, 80% by mass or less, particularly 70% by mass or less, and especially 60% by mass or less, which is preferable from the viewpoint of improving the feel of use and improving the condition of the skin.
[0056] Furthermore, each of the aqueous compositions (1) to (3) may contain humectants other than polyhydric alcohols, surfactants, pH adjusters, volatile alcohols, oils and fats, fragrances, plant and animal extracts, etc. For example, humectants other than polyhydric alcohols include polyoxyalkylene alkyl glucoside, sodium lactate, sodium pyrrolidone carboxylate, almond, avocado, marsh marigold, aloe, mallow, ononis, wild oat, licorice, quince seed, Sophora flavescens (Kujin), gardenia, grapefruit, watercress, gentian, Geranium thunbergii, burdock, wheat, Asarum sieboldii, cactus, soapwort, hawthorn, Rehmannia glutinosa, Spiraea japonica, and ginger. Examples of plant extracts include mallow, mulberry, thyme, cordyceps, houttuynia cordata, mint, coix seed, witch hazel, rose, cypress, coltsfoot, grape, prune, loofah, linden, hops, pine, quince, horse chestnut, lemon balm, cornflower, lily, lime, lavender, apple, rice and rice bran, blackcurrant, sedge, wild rose, Eleutherococcus senticosus, and seaweed, and one or more of these can be used.
[0057] The shape of the acidic substance and / or carbon dioxide generating substance can be irregular, planar, polyhedral, spherical, teardrop-shaped, fibrous, cylindrical, or fine powder, without any particular limitations. Furthermore, a wide range of particle sizes can be used without any particular limitations. In particular, a particle size distribution of approximately 1,000 μm or less is more preferable from the viewpoint of ease of handling and ease of mixing with viscous compositions. The particle size distribution in this invention can be determined by a conventional laser diffraction / scattering method.
[0058] In the case of the kit of (2), for example, a coating layer may be provided to enclose either the acidic substance and / or the carbon dioxide generating substance and the other components, or either the carbon dioxide generating substance and the other components, or either the carbon dioxide generating substance and the other components, or both may be encapsulated. Alternatively, the acidic substance and / or the carbon dioxide generating substance may be compressed and molded with a layer that does not contain the carbon dioxide generating substance, the acidic substance and the other components sandwiched between them or between the other components so that they do not come into direct contact with each other. Known methods can be used as means for the coexistence of the acidic substance and / or the carbon dioxide generating substance and the other components within the same agent.
[0059] In addition, the mixing ratio (mass ratio) of the two components in kits (1) to (3) is preferably 1:0.01 to 30, and more preferably 1:0.05 to 20.
[0060] In the composition obtained by the skin topical preparation kit of the present invention, the amounts of acidic substance, carbon dioxide generating substance, thickener, and water used are preferably 0.1 to 15% by mass for the acidic substance, 0.1 to 20% by mass for the carbon dioxide generating substance, 0.1 to 20% by mass for the thickener, and 40 to 99.6% by mass for the water, relative to their total amount. Furthermore, if the skin topical preparation contains a polyhydric alcohol, the amounts of acidic substance, carbon dioxide generating substance, thickener, water, and polyhydric alcohol used in the mixing to obtain the skin topical preparation are preferably 0.1 to 10% by mass for the acidic substance, 0.1 to 10% by mass for the carbon dioxide generating substance, 0.1 to 15% by mass for the thickener, 30 to 97% by mass for water, and 0.05 to 50% by mass for the polyhydric alcohol, relative to their total amount.

Next, the amount of water evaporation, stratum corneum moisture content, and elasticity were measured in a 4cm x 4cm measurement area where the effervescent topical skin agent was to be applied, using the method described below. Then, the effervescent topical skin agent was applied to the measurement area and left to stand for 10 minutes. After that, the effervescent topical skin agent was removed and the area was washed with water. Fifteen minutes after washing, the same measurements were taken after the application of the effervescent topical skin agent. The subjects remained quietly in the measurement room during the measurements. Figures 1 to 3 show the results of skin condition measurements after use. Note that the values in Figures 1 to 3 are relative values (rate of change) with the measurement value before application of the foaming topical skin agent set to 1. A smaller value for transepidermal water loss indicates a better barrier function, a larger value for stratum corneum moisture content indicates better performance, and a larger value for elasticity indicates better performance.
[0068] The skin condition before and after application of the foaming topical skin preparation was measured using the following devices. These measurements were performed according to the standard methods described in the instruction manual included with the devices. • Transepidermal water loss: Measured using the Tevameter™300 (CK Corporation). • Stratum corneum moisture content: Measured using the SKICON-200EX skin surface stratum corneum moisture content measuring device (manufactured by IBS Corporation). This skin surface stratum corneum moisture content measuring device evaluates the moisture content of the stratum corneum by measuring the conductance (electrical conductivity, unit: μS) of the skin. • Elasticity: Measured using a skin viscoelasticity measuring device, Cutometer MPA580 (manufactured by Courage+Khazaka).
[0069] As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the effervescent topical skin preparations of each example, which were formulated with a combination of two or more specific thickening agents, showed a greater increase in stratum corneum moisture content and elasticity, and a smaller decrease in transepidermal water loss, compared to the effervescent topical skin preparations of each comparative example that did not contain this combination of thickening agents. Furthermore, as is clear from Examples 1 to 3, all kits with configurations (1) to (3) showed a high skin condition improvement effect. Therefore, it is clear that the effervescent topical skin preparations of the present invention, formulated with a combination of two or more specific thickening agents, have a high skin condition improvement effect.
[0070] The following [Evaluation 2] was performed on the above examples and comparative examples. [Rating 2] Two healthy women in their 20s and 30s were randomly selected as subjects. Each subject's inner forearm was cleansed with facial cleanser, and they rested quietly in the measurement room for 15 minutes. Next, the effervescent topical skin agent was applied to the measurement site and left for 10 minutes. Then, the effervescent topical skin agent was removed, and the area was washed with water. Evaluations were conducted on 16 evaluation items during and after use, based on a 7-point scale. The evaluation criteria are shown in Table A below, and the results are shown in Tables B to D below. Note that the results below represent the average of the evaluation scores of the two subjects.
[0071] [Table A]
[0072] [Table B]
[0073] [Table C]
[0074] [Table D]
[0075] As shown in Tables B to D, the effervescent topical skin preparations of each example, which were formulated with a combination of two or more specific thickeners, were superior to the effervescent topical skin preparations of each comparative example that did not contain these thickeners in terms of usability during application (ease of mixing, smoothness of foam, fineness of foam, uniformity of foam, ease of application, resistance to dripping, elasticity of foam, carbonation sensation and its duration), as well as superior after-use feel (moisture, elasticity, brightness, redness, smoothness, suppleness, and firmness of the skin). Furthermore, as is clear from Examples 1 to 3, all kits with configurations (1) to (3) exhibited superior usability.
[0076] Therefore, it is clear that the foaming topical skin preparation of the present invention, formulated in combination with two or more specific thickening agents, possesses both excellent skin condition improving effects and a pleasant user experience.
