Abstract
The present invention provides a blower that can improve the aerodynamic characteristics of a rotor blade by generating plasma without causing wear on the conductors due to friction resulting from mechanical contact between conductors. [Solution] The blower includes a first housing-side counter electrode and a second housing-side counter electrode, a first rotor-side counter electrode 271, a second rotor-side counter electrode 281 located on the surface of the rotor 20 and facing at least a portion of the second housing-side counter electrode for at least a portion of the time the rotor rotates once, a first electrode 273 located on the surface of the blade 23 and electrically connected to the first rotor-side counter electrode, and a second electrode 283 located on the surface of the blade, aligned with the first electrode and electrically connected to the second rotor-side counter electrode. By applying an AC voltage to the first housing-side counter electrode and the second housing-side counter electrode, plasma is generated between the first electrode and the second electrode.
