The machining fluid 7 in the machining tank 5 contains sludge generated by the machining of the workpiece 8. The wastewater tank 13 stores the machining fluid discharged from the machining tank 5. The bubble generator 23 uses nitrogen gas purified by the gas purification device 24 to generate ultrafine bubbles using the sludge in the machining fluid pumped up from the wastewater tank 13. The filtration filter 27 filters the machining fluid containing the ultrafine bubbles. The filtered machining fluid is supplied for electrical discharge machining.
