Abstract

Using in-cab cameras, the system recognizes the faces of maintenance personnel and automatically switches to a maintenance-only operation mode that does not receive hall calls, allowing for efficient installation and collection of inspection tags. [Solution] The system comprises an in-car camera, an identification image storage unit, a maintenance worker identification unit, a maintenance and inspection execution command output unit, and an operation control unit. The in-car camera captures images of users, including their faces and clothing, when they board the elevator car at the start of maintenance and inspection. The identification image storage unit stores identification images that identify the maintenance workers responsible for maintaining the elevator. The maintenance worker identification unit identifies whether the user who boarded the elevator is a legitimate maintenance worker based on the captured user image and the identification image stored in the identification image storage unit. The maintenance and inspection execution command output unit outputs a maintenance and inspection execution command if the maintenance worker identification unit determines that a legitimate maintenance worker has boarded the elevator. When the operation control unit receives a maintenance and inspection execution command, it switches to a maintenance and inspection-only operation that does not accept hall calls.

Claims

1. An in-car camera captures images of passengers, including their faces and clothing, when they board the elevator car at the start of maintenance and inspection. An identification image storage unit that stores identification images of maintenance personnel responsible for elevator maintenance, A maintenance worker identification unit identifies whether the user who boarded the vehicle is a legitimate maintenance worker based on the captured user image and the identification image stored in the identification image storage unit. If the maintenance personnel identification unit determines that a legitimate maintenance personnel has boarded the vehicle, the maintenance and inspection execution command output unit outputs a maintenance and inspection execution command, An elevator maintenance operation system comprising: an operation control unit that switches to a dedicated maintenance operation that does not accept hall calls when the aforementioned maintenance execution command is input.

2. The elevator maintenance and inspection operation system according to claim 1, wherein the operation control unit switches to dedicated maintenance and inspection operation, cancels the hall call, and then executes operation control to move to each floor in order to install inspection tags in the elevator hall on each floor.

3. The elevator maintenance and inspection operation system according to claim 2, wherein the operation control unit has an inspection temporary release function that temporarily releases the maintenance and inspection-only operation and registers the car call when a general user boards the elevator and presses the car call button while the inspection tag installation work is in progress.

4. The elevator maintenance operation system according to claim 3, wherein the operation control unit temporarily deactivates the maintenance-only operation, and if a general user disembarks at their destination floor and only maintenance personnel are recognized by the in-car camera, it resumes the maintenance-only operation.

5. The elevator maintenance and inspection operation system according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the identification image storage unit, maintenance worker identification unit, maintenance and inspection execution command output unit, and operation control unit are built on an elevator cloud connected to an elevator control panel that controls each elevator unit.

6. The in-car camera, identification image storage unit, maintenance worker identification unit, and maintenance inspection execution command output unit are built into the in-car camera device. The elevator maintenance and inspection operation system according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the operation control unit is connected to an elevator control panel that controls each elevator unit and is built on an elevator cloud that is wirelessly connected to the in-car camera device.

7. When a user boards the elevator car during maintenance, the car's camera captures an image of the user, including their face and clothing. The system compares the captured user image with a stored identification image that identifies the maintenance worker responsible for elevator maintenance to determine whether the user is a legitimate maintenance worker. If it is determined that a legitimate maintenance worker has boarded, a maintenance and inspection execution command will be generated, and the system will switch to a maintenance-only operation mode that does not accept hall calls. A method for operating an elevator for maintenance and inspection, which involves switching to the aforementioned maintenance-only operation, canceling the hall call, and then executing an operation control that allows the maintenance worker on board to move to each floor in order to install inspection tags in the elevator hall on each floor.

8. If a regular passenger boards the train and presses the call button while the aforementioned inspection tag installation work is underway, the train will be temporarily deactivated to register the call. The elevator maintenance operation method according to claim 7, wherein the dedicated maintenance operation is temporarily deactivated, and after general users have disembarked at their destination floor, the elevator is reactivated to dedicated maintenance operation if only maintenance personnel are recognized by the in-car camera.
