AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing application management platforms face challenges in efficiently managing permission settings, leading to cumbersome operations and potential security vulnerabilities due to errors and omissions in permission management.

Method used

Utilizing a model-based approach for permission management, where a digital assistant interacts with users to generate prompt word inputs based on permission management requests, determining first permission information through a model to create, modify, or inspect permission settings, thereby reducing complexity and enhancing security.

Benefits of technology

The model-based approach simplifies permission management, improves efficiency, and enables timely detection of security vulnerabilities, maintaining flexibility while reducing errors and enhancing user experience.

Abstract

Embodiments of this disclosure provide methods, apparatus, devices, and storage media for access control. One method receives an access control request for a target application, the access control request indicating one or more access settings for the target application. Based on at least the access control request and descriptive information related to access control for the target application, a first prompt word input is generated. Using a model, based on the first prompt word input, first access information relating to a target access setting among one or more access settings is determined, the first access information indicating an operation on the target access setting or the result of an inspection of the target access setting. As a result, it is possible to use a model for managing access settings and to detect system security vulnerabilities in a timely manner. In this way, the complexity of access control can be reduced.
