Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a rinse-off hair cosmetic composition comprising (a) at least one organic acid, (b) a non-aqueous solvent containing at least one compound having at least one hydroxyl group, (c) at least one amino acid, (d) at least one fatty compound selected from vegetable oils, vegetable resins, vegetable waxes, and mixtures thereof, (e) water, and (f) at least one surfactant selected from cationic surfactants, nonionic surfactants, and mixtures thereof. The present invention also relates to a method of treating hair, particularly curly hair, a method of providing improved curl definition to hair, and the use of a composition for producing a rinse-off hair care product that provides improved curl definition.
