Abstract
A method of tissue repair using a mattress stitch is disclosed. The mattress stitch is made up of a suture structure comprising one or more soft body anchors and flexible strands attached to the soft body anchors. The free, tension-adjustable ends of the flexible strands are detachably attached to a suture passer and pass through the tissue. The free ends then pass through the soft body anchors and around and through the tissue to form a knotless, continuous, uninterrupted, flexible, adjustable, self-locking, tension-adjustable loop.
