Provided is a sanitary product that facilitates waste separation. 【Solution means】The sanitary product includes a main body unit 2. The main body unit 2 includes a waterproof member 21 made of the same type of recyclable plastic, an absorbent member located on the surface of the waterproof member 21 and having at least one absorbent layer, each of the absorbent layers having an absorbent body made of the same type of recyclable plastic, and a covering member 23 that covers at least the absorbent member, is connected to the surface of the waterproof member 21, and has a covering layer 231 made of the same type of recyclable plastic.

[0001] The present invention relates to sanitary products, and more particularly to sanitary products that absorb liquids.

Background Art

[0002] For women during menstruation, sanitary products are essential. In the early days, natural fibers were mainly used in the liquid-absorbing part of sanitary products. However, in order to increase the absorption capacity and reduce the overall weight, chemical fibers were blended with natural fibers, and furthermore, superabsorbent polymers (SAP) were added.

[0003] For example, Patent Document 1 discloses an absorption structure containing polymer fibers, cellulose fibers, and superabsorbent polymers (SAP). The absorption structure enhances the liquid absorption capacity by adding superabsorbent polymers to cellulose fibers, and further maintains the overall stability by coating it with polymer fibers.

[0004] As can be seen from the above description, although current sanitary products have improved the poor absorption capacity when natural fibers are used as the absorption part, they contain recyclable polymer materials and non-recyclable polymer materials, which causes inconvenience during waste sorting.

Claims

1. A sanitary product including a main body unit, wherein the main body unit comprises a waterproof member made of the same type of recyclable plastic, an absorbent member located on the surface of the waterproof member and having at least one absorbent layer, each of the absorbent layers having an absorbent body made of the same type of recyclable plastic, and a covering member covering at least the absorbent member, connected to the surface of the waterproof member and having a covering layer made of the same type of recyclable plastic. A sanitary product.

2. The sanitary product according to claim 1, wherein the recyclable plastic of the waterproof member, the recyclable plastic of the absorbent body, and the recyclable plastic of the covering layer belong to polyolefin or polyester.

3. The sanitary product according to claim 1, wherein the covering member is a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric.

4. The sanitary product according to claim 1, wherein the absorbent body is at least one of a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, and a foamed plastic.

5. The sanitary product according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of recesses are formed on the surface of the covering layer opposite to the absorbent member.

6. The sanitary product according to claim 1, further comprising a packaging member made of the same type of recyclable plastic and defining a storage space for housing the main body unit.

7. The sanitary product according to claim 6, wherein the packaging member and the covering member are made of the same type of recyclable plastic.

The sanitary product according to claim 1, wherein the waterproof member, the absorbent body, and the covering member are made of the same recyclable plastic, the periphery of the covering member is directly connected to the waterproof member, and the absorbent member is completely wrapped between the covering member and the waterproof member.

9. The sanitary product according to claim 1, further comprising an adhesive unit located on the surface of the waterproof member opposite to the covering member.
