Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a connector used for attaching a portable accessory, such as a tool holder for holding tools or a tool bag for storing tools, to a waist belt worn by a worker. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, as this type of connector, chain-type connectors disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 are known.

[0003] This chain-type connector consists of two bolts with pipe members loosely fitted into them, connected by a connecting plate, and the connecting plate is configured so that its inward movement is restricted by the pipe members and the chain shape is maintained. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0004] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 53-150594 [Patent Document 2] Utility Model Registration No. 3236292 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] Incidentally, the chain-type connectors disclosed in the above Patent Documents 1 and 2 are short types that connect two bolts, but there are also long types of chain-type connectors that increase the number of connected bolts, as shown in Figure 17(a), allowing for flexible movement (deformation) like a chain.

[0006] 17(a) shows a configuration in which four bolts 40 are connected. In this configuration, the number of connecting plates 41 required to connect the bolts 40 is six in total, three on each side, as shown in the figure.

[0007] When connecting four bolts 40 using these six connecting plates 41, the second connecting plate 41 connecting the second and third bolts 40 is set so as to be stacked on top of the first connecting plate 41 connecting the first and second bolts 40. However, if the third connecting plate 41 connecting the third and fourth bolts 40 is set so as to be stacked on top of the second connecting plate 41, the gap between the connecting plate 41 and the pipe member 42 that fits loosely into the bolts 40 will gradually widen, as shown in Figure 17(b), and the appearance of the chain shape will be marred. Therefore, it is common to set the third connecting plate 41 so that it is positioned below the second connecting plate 41, as shown in Figure 17(a).

[0008] However, the process of setting and assembling the connecting plates alternately inside and outside as described above is a very troublesome task.

[0009] The present invention has been developed in consideration of the problems associated with conventional chain-type couplers, and aims to provide a coupler that has the functions of conventional chain-type couplers, but is also highly practical and can be easily assembled and connected. [Means for solving the problem]

Between the second main tube 4b and the third main tube 4c of one connecting structure 1, the first main tube 4a of the other connecting structure 1 is arranged in communication with them, and a connecting member 2 is inserted through the first main tube 4a of one connecting structure 1 and the second main tube 4b and third main tube 4c of the other connecting structure 1 arranged in this communication state, thereby connecting the connecting structures 1 to each other.

[0026] Specifically, in this embodiment, the connecting member 2 is composed of a bolt 2a and a nut 2b, and the nut 2b is screwed onto the bolt 2a, which is inserted through the first main tube 4a, the second main tube 4b, and the third main tube 4c, which are in a connected state, and is prevented from coming loose by this nut 2b. The connecting structures 1 connected by this connecting member 2 are arranged to be capable of relative rotation with this connecting member 2 as a rotation axis, and are configured to be able to move (deform) flexibly like a chain.

[0027] This embodiment can be configured as the following embodiments 1 to 3 in which the connecting portion 3 has a different configuration.

[0028] <Example 1> The connector according to this embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 6. Note that this embodiment is configured by connecting two connection structures 1, but the number of connection structures 1 that constitute the connector can be appropriately changed in design.

[0029] As shown in FIG. 1, the connecting structure 1 of this embodiment comprises an axis member 6, a first sub-tube 7a fitted in the longitudinal center of the axis member 6, a second sub-tube 7b fitted in one longitudinal side of the axis member 6, and a third sub-tube 7c fitted in the other longitudinal side of the axis member 6, a first connecting portion 8a protruding from the first sub-tube 7a, a second connecting portion 8b protruding from the second sub-tube 7b, and a third connecting portion 8c protruding from the third sub-tube 7c, and is provided with a connecting portion 3 in which the second connecting portion 8b and the third connecting portion 8c protrude in the opposite direction to the protruding direction of the first connecting portion 8a. Furthermore, the first main tube 4a is provided in the first connecting portion 8a in parallel to the first sub-tube 7a, the second main tube 4b is provided in the second connecting portion 8b in parallel to the second sub-tube 7b, and the third main tube 4c is provided in the third connecting portion 8c in parallel to the third sub-tube 7c.

[0030] Specifically, the connecting structure 1 of this embodiment is made of metal (aluminum, aluminum alloy or stainless steel), and as shown in FIG. 1, a first member 9a in which the first main tube 4a, the first sub-tube 7a and the first connecting portion 8a are integrally formed, a second member 9b in which the second main tube 4b, the second sub-tube 7b and the second connecting portion 8b are integrally formed, and a third member 9c in which the third main tube 4c, the third sub-tube 7c and the third connecting portion 8c are integrally formed, which are integrally connected by an axial member 6.

[0031] More specifically, the first main tube 4a and the first sub-tube 7a constituting the first member 9a are configured as cylindrical bodies of the same shape and size, and the first connecting portion 8a connecting the first main tube 4a and the first sub-tube 7a is configured as a cylindrical body and is configured to connect the first main tube 4a and the first sub-tube 7a and to function as the attachment portion 5 to which the connector 10 for a portable accessory described later can be attached by inserting it therethrough.

[0032] In addition, the second main tube 4b and the second sub tube 7b that constitute the second member 9b are also configured as cylindrical bodies of the same shape and size, similar to the first main tube 4a and the first sub tube 7a, and the second connecting portion 8b that connects the second main tube 4b and the second sub tube 7b is also configured as a cylindrical body, similar to the first connecting portion 8a, and is configured to connect the second main tube 4b and the second sub tube 7b and to function as the attachment portion 5 to which the connector 10 for a portable accessory can be attached by inserting and arranging it therethrough.

[0033] In addition, the third main tube 4c and the third sub tube 7c that constitute the third member 9c are also configured as cylindrical bodies of the same shape and size, like the first main tube 4a and the first sub tube 7a and the second main tube 4b and the second sub tube 7b, and the third connecting portion 8c that connects this third main tube 4c and the third sub tube 7c is also configured as a cylindrical body, like the first connecting portion 8a and the second connecting portion 8b, and is configured to connect the third main tube 4c and the third sub tube 7c and to function as the attachment portion 5 to which the connector 10 for a portable accessory can be attached by inserting and arranging it.

[0034] Furthermore, in the connecting structure 1 of this embodiment, the first main tube 4a, the second main tube 4b, the third main tube 4c, the first sub tube 7a, the second sub tube 7b and the third sub tube 7c are all configured as cylindrical bodies of the same shape and size, and the first connecting portion 8a, the second connecting portion 8b and the third connecting portion 8c are all configured as cylindrical bodies of the same shape and size.

[0035] That is, the first member 9a, the second member 9b and the third member 9c are configured to be the same shape and size, and the connecting structure 1 of this embodiment is configured by connecting these three identical members (the first member 9a, the second member 9b and the third member 9c) with one shaft member 6 (bolt 6a and nut 6b). As shown in Figures 1 and 2, this embodiment is configured by connecting two connecting structures 1 having the above-mentioned configuration with a connecting member 2 consisting of a bolt 2a and a nut 2b.

[0036] In addition, in this embodiment, the same bolts and nuts are used for the connecting members 2 (bolts 2a and nuts 2b) that connect the connecting structures 1 together, and the axial members 6 (bolts 6a and nuts 6b) that connect the first member 9a, the second member 9b, and the third member 9c that constitute the connecting structure 1.

[0037] In addition, in the connecting structure 1 of this embodiment, the first member 9a, the second member 9b and the third member 9c are all constructed from the same material, but, for example, the second member 9b and the third member 9c may be constructed from the same material and the first member 9a may be constructed from a different material (for example, the third main tube 4c (third secondary tube 7c) may be constructed from a different length).

[0038] In this embodiment, the first main tube 4a provided on the first member 9a of one connecting structure 1 (the upper connecting structure 1 in the figure) serves as a connecting portion that is connected to a belt loop 20 attached to the worker's belt, and as shown in FIG. 3, the first main tube 4a is disposed between a pair of tubular connecting portions 20a provided on the belt loop 20 and in a state of communication with the pair of tubular connecting portions 20a. The first main tube 4a is configured so that it can be connected to the belt loop 20 by inserting a connecting member 21, specifically, a bolt 21a through the pair of tubular connecting portions 20a and the first main tube 4a in this communicating state and screwing in a nut 21b to prevent it from coming loose.

[0039] In addition, as shown in Figures 4 and 5, this embodiment is configured so that a separate portable accessory connector 10 can be attached to the mounting portion 5 (the mounting portion 5 provided on the second connecting portion 8b of the second member 9b and the mounting portion 5 provided on the third connecting portion 8c of the third member 9c) provided on the second member 9b and the third member 9c of the second connecting structure 1 (the connecting structure 1 on the lower side in the figures), and a portable accessory 30 such as a tool holder for holding tools or a tool bag for storing tools can be attached via this portable accessory connector 10.

[0040] Specifically, the connector 10 for a portable accessory is formed by connecting a pair of L-shaped connecting members 10a, and in this embodiment, one of the L-shaped connecting members 10a in a separated state is inserted and arranged through the mounting portion 5 provided on the second member 9b and the third member 9c of the two connecting structures 1, and the other is inserted and arranged through the insertion portion 30a provided on the portable accessory 30, and the L-shaped connecting members 10a respectively inserted and arranged are connected to each other with a bolt 11a and a nut 11b, so that the portable accessory 30 can be attached.

[0041] Since this embodiment is configured as described above, the first main tube 4a of the second connecting structure 1 is arranged in communication with the second main tube 4b and the third main tube 4c between the second main tube 4b and the third main tube 4c of one connecting structure 1, and the connecting member 2, specifically the bolt 2a, is inserted and arranged through the first main tube 4a, the second main tube 4b and the third main tube 4c arranged in this communicating state, and the nut 2b is screwed onto it to prevent it from coming loose, which is an extremely simple operation that allows the connecting structures 1 to be easily connected to each other.

[0042] Furthermore, the connecting structures 1 connected by the connecting member 2 are arranged so that they can rotate relative to one another with this connecting member 2 (bolt 2a) as the pivot axis. Furthermore, in this embodiment, not only can the connecting structures 1 rotate relative to one another, but the first member 9a, second member 9b and third member 9c that constitute the connecting structure 1 are arranged so that they can rotate freely with the bolt 6a of the shaft member 6 as the pivot axis, thereby enabling flexible movement (deformation) like a chain that is equal to or even more flexible than that of conventional chain-type connecting fittings (long type).

[0043] In this manner, this embodiment provides a connector that is highly practical because it is capable of flexible movement (deformation) like a chain, yet can be easily assembled and connected.

[0044] Furthermore, in this embodiment, connection to the belt loop 20 or the portable accessory 30 is also easy, and connection to the belt loop 20 can be achieved in the same manner as connection between connecting structures 1, by simply arranging the first main tube 4a of one connecting structure 1 in communication with the pair of tubular connecting portions 20a between the pair of tubular connecting portions 20a of the belt loop 20, and inserting and arranging the connecting member 21 (bolt 21a and nut 21) through the pair of tubular connecting portions 20a and the first main tube 4a arranged in this communicating state.

[0045] In addition, the portable accessory 30 can be attached by simply inserting one L-shaped connecting member 10a of the separated portable accessory connecting body 10 into the mounting portions 5 provided on the second member 9b and the third member 9c of the two connecting structures 1, and inserting the other into the insertion portion 30a provided on the portable accessory 30, and connecting the inserted L-shaped connecting members 10a together with bolts 11a and nuts 11b.

[0046] In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6, only the integrated connection structure 1 can be used as a connector.

[0047] <Example 2> The connector according to this embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.

[0048] This embodiment differs from the first embodiment in the configuration of the connecting portion.

[0049] Specifically, the connecting portions of this embodiment, i.e., the first connecting portion 8a connecting the first main tube 4a and the first sub tube 7a, the second connecting portion 8b connecting the second main tube 4b and the second sub tube 7b, and the third connecting portion 8c connecting the third main tube 4c and the third sub tube 7c, are each configured as a plate-like body, as shown in FIG. 7.

[0050] In addition, as shown in FIG. 8, the first connecting portion 8a, the second connecting portion 8b and the third connecting portion 8c each have an insertion hole 5a at the center of the plate surface for attaching and fixing the portable accessory connector 10 with a bolt 12a and a nut 12b, and are configured as an attachment portion 5.

[0051] Specifically, in this embodiment, as shown in Figure 9, the second connecting portion 8b of the second member 9b and the third connecting portion 8c of the third member 9c of the second connecting structure 1 serve as mounting portions 5, and the insertion holes 5a of each mounting portion 5 are connected to a communication hole (not shown) provided in the portable accessory connector 10, and the bolt 12a is inserted into this communication hole and fixed with a nut 12b, thereby enabling the portable accessory connector 10 to be attached.

[0052] The rest of the configuration is the same as in the first embodiment.

[0053] As in the first embodiment, in this embodiment, the integrated connection structure 1 alone can be used as a connector, as shown in FIG.

[0054] <Example 3> The connector according to this embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 11 to 16. Note that, although this embodiment is configured by connecting four connection structures 1, the number of connection structures 1 that constitute the connector can be appropriately changed in design.

[0055] As shown in FIG. 11, the connecting structure 1 of this embodiment has a connecting portion 3 configured as a horizontal rectangular plate, and a first main tube 4a is provided at the longitudinal center of one long side of this horizontal rectangular plate-shaped connecting portion 3, a second main tube 4b is provided on one longitudinal side of the other long side, and the third main tube 4c is provided on the other longitudinal side.

[0056] Specifically, the connecting structure 1 of this embodiment is made of metal (aluminum, aluminum alloy, or stainless steel), and as shown in FIG. 11, the first main tube 4a, the second main tube 4b, and the third main tube 4c are configured as cylindrical bodies of the same shape.

[0057] More specifically, the second main tube 4b and the third main tube 4c are cylindrical bodies of the same shape and size, and are set to a length shorter than that of the first main tube 4a (in this embodiment, the length is set to about half that of the first main tube 4a).

[0058] As described above, the connecting portion 3 is configured as a horizontal rectangular plate, and as shown in Figure 12, a through hole 5a is provided on the plate surface for attaching and fixing the portable accessory connector 10 with a bolt 11a and a nut 11b, forming an attachment portion 5.

[0059] In this embodiment, a first main tube 4a provided on one connecting structure 1 (the uppermost connecting structure 1 in the figure) serves as a connecting portion that is connected to a belt loop 20 attached to the worker's belt, and as shown in FIG. 13, this first main tube 4a is disposed between a pair of tubular connecting portions 20a provided on the belt loop 20 and in a state of communication with the pair of tubular connecting portions 20a. A connecting member 21, specifically, a bolt 21a is inserted between the pair of tubular connecting portions 20a and the first main tube 4a in this communicating state, and a nut 21b is screwed in to prevent it from coming loose, thereby enabling connection to the belt loop 20.

[0060] In addition, as shown in Figure 14, this embodiment is configured so that a separate connector 10 for portable accessories can be attached to the mounting portion 5, which is also the connecting portion 3 of the fourth connecting structure 1 (the connecting structure 1 at the bottom in the figure), and a portable accessory 30, such as a tool holder for holding tools or a tool bag for storing tools, can be attached via this connector 10 for portable accessories.

[0061] Specifically, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 14, the insertion hole 5a provided in the mounting portion 5 (connection portion 3) and the communication hole 10b provided in the portable accessory connector 10 are connected to each other, and a bolt 12a is inserted into this communication hole and fixed with a nut 12b, so that the portable accessory connector 10 can be attached as shown in FIG. 15.

[0062] Since this embodiment is constructed as described above, it is capable of flexible movement (deformation) like a chain, similar to conventional chain-type connecting fittings (long type).

[0063] Furthermore, the connecting structure 1 of this embodiment is composed of a single member in which the first main tube 4a, the second main tube 4b, and the third main tube 4c are integrally formed at a single connecting portion 3 formed in the shape of a horizontal rectangular plate. Therefore, even when connecting four connecting structures 1 as in this embodiment, the number of parts is only seven. Being composed of such a small number of parts makes assembly extremely easy, and also makes for an innovative connecting device that can be manufactured at low cost.

[0064] In this embodiment, similarly to the first and second embodiments, as shown in FIG. 16, the integrated connection structure 1 alone can be used as a connector.

[0065] Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to Examples 1 to 3, and the specific configuration of each component can be designed as appropriate. [Explanation of symbols]
