Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of units for preparing beverages by brewing. It has a particularly advantageous application for producing coffee-based beverages from ground coffee in the field of coffee makers. However, this does not exclude the production of other types of beverages, in particular beverages made only from ground coffee or from other ingredients to be brewed. [Background technology]

[0002] Machines for producing a hot beverage from the material to be extracted, most often ground coffee, conventionally comprise a brewing chamber through which water circulates to produce the extracted beverage at its outlet. In this configuration, the machine comprises a boiler, a water injection circuit (implementing, via a pump, a fairly high hot water pressure) and the brewing chamber into which the hot water injection circuit opens.

[0003] The first type of machine has manual operation in that the loading of the dose of material to be brewed, the closing of the brewing chamber, the flow of water through the latter to produce the beverage, and finally the opening of the brewing chamber to eject the brewed material are performed by the user, typically by means of a convenient grip-mounted cup holder device.

[0004] More automated machines have also been proposed, as in the case of DE 10 200 43 31 A1. In this case, corresponding to Figures 1 and 2, the opening and closing steps of the extraction chambers are carried out via a rotating tray that rests on the extraction chamber, and preferably on several extraction chambers, so that the machine can also work on several extraction chambers in parallel. An orifice across the tray can also be positioned opposite the mouth of one of the extraction chambers to carry out the intake of the material to be extracted or else the discharge of the extracted material.

[0005] While these operations are being carried out, a flow of water occurs in the separate brewing chamber, making it possible to produce a beverage within a masked time.

[0006] In general, this machine is satisfactory thanks to its high efficiency. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile to have a proper management of the movable nature of the tray. In fact, this movement should be carried out while keeping a sealed connection with respect to the mouth of the brewing chamber, as a result of efficient sealing means and / or a proper positioning of the orifice of the tray opposite the mouth of one of the brewing chambers.

[0007] No. 5,399,633 discloses a machine for preparing an extracted beverage with an arrangement for sealing the extraction chamber. No. 5,399,633 presents a solution in which the extraction unit has a rotatable tray resting on top of the extraction chamber. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0008] [Patent Document 1] WO 01 / 54550 Brochure [Patent Document 2] U.S. Pat. No. 5,007,333 [Patent Document 3] US Patent Application No. 2006 / 144243 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0009] It is an object of the present invention to provide a unit for producing a beverage from material to be brewed, which has a movable tray with improved cooperation with the brewing chamber.

[0010] Other objects, features, and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after studying the following description and accompanying drawings, and it should be understood that other advantages may also be incorporated. [Means for solving the problem]

[0011] To this end, according to one embodiment, a unit for the preparation of a beverage by extracting a dose of a product to be extracted is provided, comprising at least one extraction chamber provided with a receptacle for said dose and a circuit for injecting water into said receptacle, surmounted by a movable tray provided with an orifice adapted to be selectively placed opposite the mouth of the receptacle of the extraction chamber, thereby opening and closing the extraction chamber depending on the position of the orifice, the extraction chamber being provided with a sealing element configured to ensure a sealing contact between the peripheral area of the mouth of the extraction chamber and the underside of the tray.

[0012] According to a first distinct aspect, the sealing element comprises: - a first gasket having a first surface that bears against a lower surface of the tray; a second gasket having a first surface that bears against the peripheral region; a support having an upper surface for bearing against the second surface of the first gasket and a lower surface for bearing against the second surface of the second gasket; Equipped with.

[0013] Thus, the sealing element has a complex structure that utilizes a significant degree of deformation to accommodate the movement of the tray and the pressure of the water injected into the extraction chamber. This is also a way to precisely adapt the gasket parameters (shape and / or material) to the stresses of each part. In particular, the planar contact of the underside of the tray is preferably ensured by the planar surface of the first gasket. Furthermore, without being limited thereto, the second gasket may be an O-ring so as to have a capacity for deformation and / or displacement with respect to the surrounding area. A support, preferably made of a material more rigid than the material of the gasket, such as steel, other metals or non-elastomeric polymers, ensures the interface between the gaskets.

[0014] According to another distinct aspect, a unit for preparing a beverage by extracting a dose of a product to be extracted is provided, comprising at least one extraction chamber provided with a receptacle for said dose and a circuit for injecting water into said receptacle, surmounted by a movable tray provided with an orifice adapted to be selectively placed opposite the mouth of the receptacle of the extraction chamber, thereby opening and closing the extraction chamber depending on the position of the orifice, the extraction chamber provided with a sealing element configured to ensure sealing contact between the peripheral area of the mouth of the extraction chamber and the underside of the tray, and comprising a control system for the tray configured to drive in rotation and to determine a numerical value reflecting the rotation speed of the tray.

[0015] As a result of this arrangement, which replaces or complements the arrangement involving a sealing gasket, the operation of the unit can be finely adapted to the friction conditions of the tray so that its successive position is accurate; in particular, it allows the orifice of the tray to be directly opposite the brewing chamber mouth in its open position.

[0016] According to one possibility, the water injection channel in the brewing chamber applies water pressure to a sealing element that is configured to increase the bearing of the first gasket on the tray.

[0017] Advantageously, the sealing arrangement is combined with the tray speed control arrangement to increase the reliability and repeatability of the tray movement.

[0018] Another aspect concerns a method for controlling a tray of a unit. According to one possibility, the method comprises an evaluation of a discrepancy between a determined value and a set value and a correction of the control of the tray due to the discrepancy. In particular, the rotation of the tray can be decelerated more or less rapidly on the movement between two positions, in particular between two extraction chambers.

[0019] The aims, objectives, as well as features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description of one embodiment thereof, as illustrated by the accompanying drawings, in which: [Brief description of the drawings]

[0023] The unit according to the invention comprises one or, preferably, several brewing chambers in which the brewing of a product such as ground coffee takes place.

[0024] Figures 1 and 2 illustrate an example of a unit according to Patent Document 1. Unless otherwise stated in this specification, the components of this unit can be used in the context of the unit of the present invention. As a result, in the following they are described in the context of the present invention.

[0025] Figures 1 and 2 show an embodiment with two extraction chambers marked 1a, 1b.

[0026] Each of these extraction chambers comprises in its internal volume a receptacle marked 2a, 2b adapted to receive a dose of the product to be extracted. Means for injecting hot water to enable the extraction to be carried out are also present in each of the extraction chambers 1a, 1b. A preferred embodiment is described below. Preferably, a boiler is mounted in the machine, which supplies hot water to the water supply circuits to the extraction chambers 1a, 1b. A pump ensures the pressurization of this water, for example above 10 bar.

[0027] According to the invention, the extraction chambers 1a, 1b are arranged side by side, as shown in FIG. 2 for two extraction chambers.

[0028] Moreover, on these rests a movable tray 4 provided with an orifice 5. Depending on the position of the movable tray 4, the orifice 5 can be positioned opposite one of the brewing chambers 1a, 1b so as to open it. When the orifice 5 is not positioned opposite the brewing chamber 1a, 1b, the latter is closed. Figure 2 shows the case of two closed brewing chambers 1a, 1b.

[0029] The formation of a unique tray 4 provided with orifices 5 appears to ensure an opening and closing phase of all the extraction chambers 1a, 1b.

[0030] In the illustrated preferred embodiment, the tray 4 is rotationally movable according to an axis 13 marked in Fig. 2. However, other embodiments are possible, in particular by providing the tray 4 with translational movable capability.

[0031] According to the prior art of figures 1 and 2, the sealing of the closure of the brewing chambers 1a, 1b is ensured by the formation of a gasket 6, for example an O-ring, between each brewing chamber 1a, 1b and the movable tray 4. However, advantageous alternative forms of this O-ring will be described below.

[0032] Still referring to Figure 2, there is shown the hot water injection means comprising a water supply circuit 7 having radial inlets opening into each brewing chamber 1a, 1b.

[0033] Upstream, the water injection circuit may comprise a pump and a system of at least one extraction solenoid valve 12 shown in FIG.

[0034] Preferably, radial injection of hot water avoids all injection means being carried by the tray 4 .

[0035] As a still preferred example, Figure 2 illustrates a circuit for expelling the extracted beverage via the outlet. In this context, the discharge circuit towards the outlet is formed in a movable plunger 10 forming the lower wall 9 of the receptacle 2a, 2b of each extraction chamber 1a, 1b. Preferably, the movable plunger 10 carries a filter that ensures the passage of the beverage towards the outlet.

[0036] The formation of a translatable plunger 10 makes it possible to vary the internal volume of the receptacles 2a, 2b.

[0037] It is therefore possible to adapt it depending on the dose 3 integrated in the receptacle or else depending on the desired grind packing. Furthermore, the translatability of the plunger 10 ensures its passage when in use between a position for receiving the dose 3 in the orifice 5 and a position for expelling the dose 3.

[0038] After completion of the extraction, the ejection of the used dose from the receptacle 2b is carried out through the full deployment of the plunger 10. The used dose is thus collected at the level of the movable tray 4 in the orifice 5. Preferably, the orifice 5 has a section whose shape is identical and whose dimensions are slightly larger than those of the openings of the extraction chambers 1a, 1b. In the example of the different figures, the extraction chambers 1a, 1b and the orifice 5 both have a circular cross section with substantially corresponding diameters within a few millimeters.

[0039] The movable tray 4 not only contributes to the ejection of the doses from the extraction chambers 1a, 1b, but may also allow the ejection of used doses from the unit. For this purpose, the periphery of the orifice 5 advantageously has a thickness at least equal to the maximum height of the used doses that are ejected after extraction.

[0040] Furthermore, the evacuation of the used doses thus present in the orifice 5 can be carried out by gravity after displacement of the movable tray 4 .

[0041] Preferably, as illustrated in the figures, the tray 4 is a circular plate that is rotationally movable, in particular movable in a horizontal plane.

[0042] Furthermore, the unit preferably comprises two brewing chambers 1 a, 1 b positioned on a tray 4.

[0043] The orifice 5 and the brewing chambers 1a, 1b are placed so that after rotation of the tray 4, they face (are centered on) one of the brewing chambers 1a, 1b.

[0044] This rotation about the axis 13 can be ensured by means of a motor drive 14 made in the usual way, in particular by means of a geared motor and drive system as represented in FIGS.

[0045] Similarly, the displacement of the movable plunger 10 may be generated by a motor drive 11 of conventional design.

[0046] To ensure a full automation of the beverage production cycle, the unit preferably comprises a set 15 for supplying the product to be extracted. This set 15, shown in Figure 1, leads to at least one supply channel 16. Under these channels 16, a funnel 17 is able to receive the dose of the product to be extracted by gravity.

[0047] Furthermore, the lower end 18 of the funnel 17 is open at the level of the movable tray 4 as shown in Figure 2. The funnel 17 shown in the figure has a substantially flared shape at its upper end as compared to its lower end 18.

[0048] However, it should be understood that the invention is not limited to such configurations, and in particular a funnel may be formed having a constant cross section over its height.

[0049] To ensure the loading of a dose into one of the extraction chambers 1a, 1b, the lower end 18 is positioned opposite one of these extraction chambers 1a, 1b, and at the same time the opening 5 is also located opposite it.

[0050] To carry out the positioning operation of the funnel 17, positioning means are present.

[0051] The particular shape of the ejection means is shown in figures 1 and 2 which illustrate the construction of a weight 29 mounted on a suspension means allowing the introduction and extraction of the weight 29 in the orifice 5. The weight 29 has a section of the same shape and dimensions slightly smaller than the orifice 5. In this way, the weight 29 is adapted to scrape the walls of the orifice 5 and avoid residues of the product to be extracted.

[0052] In the following, the different steps of operation of the units applicable to the present invention are explained.

[0053] The step of introducing the dose of product to be extracted is carried out in the extraction chamber 1b, at its receptacle 2b. This introduction is possible by positioning the movable tray 4 so that its orifice 5 faces the receptacle 2b.

[0054] Moreover, this positioning of the movable tray 4 preferably ensures the actuation of a funnel 17 which is further positioned opposite the opening of the receptacle 2b.

[0055] At this point, the feed set 15 can be put into operation to ensure the transfer of the product to be brewed (such as ground coffee) to the brewing chamber 1b.

[0056] As illustrated in FIG. 1, the supplying means 15 may comprise a number of grinders 19 adapted to grind the coffee grains into powder.

[0057] When a dose has been introduced into the extraction chamber 1b in this manner, the latter can be closed through another rotation step of the movable tray 4.

[0058] The extraction chamber 1b is then closed, allowing to finish in the position illustrated in FIG. 2, where the weight 29 is returned to its rest position.

[0059] At this point, extraction can be carried out by injecting hot water radially through the circuit 7 into the extraction chamber 1b.

[0060] The beverage is then collected in the usual manner.

[0061] Before starting the extraction phase, the movable plunger 10 can be raised to allow carrying out the packing of the product to be extracted.

[0062] After the extraction is completed, it is possible to push the used dose out of the extraction chamber 1b.

[0063] In this context, the movable tray 4 is positioned so that the orifice 5 faces the opening of the receptacle 2b of the brewing chamber 1b.

[0064] After this, the movable plunger 10 can be translated so that the dose is collected in the orifice 5. A new rotation of the movable tray 4 in a direction opposite to the previous rotation allows the ejection of the dose by gravity.

[0065] It should be noted that upon completion of these different steps in the extraction chamber 1b, the extraction chamber 1a can also operate independently: the extraction can continue with the steps of loading the extraction chamber 1b, pushing out the spent dose, and ejecting the spent dose.

[0066] Likewise, it is possible to carry out the loading, extraction, pushing and emptying steps for the brewing chamber 1a while the brewing chamber 1b is in operation.

[0067] It should be noted that the movement of the movable tray 4 is preferably performed rotationally around a rest position illustrated in Figure 6. The movable tray 4 is adapted to be rotated in either direction around this position depending on the operation to be performed with respect to either the brewing chamber 1b or the brewing chamber 1a.

[0068] It should be understood that this movable nature of the tray 4 should be performed whilst maintaining the sealing of the brewing chambers 1a, 1b covered thereby.

[0069] In this context, Figures 3 to 5C show an embodiment of the present invention ensuring an optimized seal. The sealing element comprises several components that will be described in detail below. The sealing element is configured to surround the mouth of the receptacle 2a, 2b under consideration. In the setup of Figure 3, the brewing chamber 1a comprises a peripheral area with a closed contour, advantageously circular, at the level of the mouth, so as to form a recessed annular portion 33 of the receptacle 2a. This recess may be formed in part of the body 24 of the brewing chamber.

[0070] In this embodiment, the wall of the receptacle is delimited at least in part by the inner surface 21 of a cylindrical sleeve 20, whose longitudinal axis extends according to the direction in which the plunger 10 can move. For example, this sleeve 20 may be made of metal. Advantageously, the space for accommodating the sealing element is arranged on the opposite face of the sleeve 20. The compartment of the sealing element is then delimited by a recess formed in the body 24 and by a wall, also called the outer face 22, of the sleeve 20.

[0071] Figure 4 shows in more detail the components of the sealing element and its cooperation with the environment. The first gasket 31 is applied on the lower side 3 of the tray 4 by a first bearing surface 311, preferably flat, exactly like the corresponding part of the lower side 3. By means of an opposing surface, referenced 312 in Figure 5A, the first gasket 31 cooperates with the support 30. Advantageously, the support 30 comprises a groove 301, preferably in the form of an annular groove with a closed contour, which receives the lower part of the first gasket 31.

[0072] Preferably, the first gasket 31 is made of a polymer material with a low coefficient of friction, which may in particular be polytetrafluoroethylene. In this way, the mobility of the tray 4 does not induce high frictional forces with respect to this first gasket 31.

[0073] Opposite the first gasket 31 with respect to the support 30, the sealing element comprises a second gasket 32. The latter cooperates with the peripheral area of the extraction chamber in an area for accommodating the sealing element. Advantageously, the second gasket 32 is an O-ring. It may be made of an elastomeric material. In this case, in general, the modulus of elasticity of the second gasket 32 is preferably strictly higher than that of the first gasket 31, so as to give the second gasket 32 the function of accommodating the sealing element with respect to the stresses it is subjected to thereon. In this arrangement, it is possible to select the material of the first gasket 31 that is best suited to cooperate with the underside 3 of the tray 4, while leaving the second gasket 32 with an adequate elastic deformation capacity.

[0074] In the configuration shown in Fig. 4, the gasket 32 cooperates with the peripheral area of the mouth of the extraction chamber at two locations in this area. The peripheral area is in fact an annular part 33 comprising a first wall oriented radially with respect to the longitudinal axis of the extraction chamber and a second wall, advantageously of circular cross section, oriented according to this longitudinal axis. At the level of the first wall, a first surface 331 of the peripheral area cooperates with the gasket 32. At the level of the second wall, a second surface 332 of the peripheral area cooperates with the gasket 32. It should therefore be understood that this last gasket abuts in two directions to ensure its immobility.

[0075] Of course, the overall height of the sealing element, compared to the distance separating the first surface 331 of the peripheral area and the underside 3 of the tray 4, is configured to ensure a sealed support of the sealing element on this surface 3. It is possible to tune the elasticity of the gaskets 31, 32, and in particular the elasticity of the gasket 32, to slightly deform the sealing element by compression within its housing under the tray 4.

[0076] Another part of the second gasket 32 bears against the support 30 via the lower face of the latter. At this level, the support 30 advantageously has a three-dimensional shape that forms an angle opposite to the angle formed by the first face 311 and the second face 312. Furthermore, a connecting fillet 300 preferably connects the two side walls of this angle.

[0077] 5A to 5C show a first gasket 31, a support 30, and a second gasket 32 in turn.

[0078] As previously shown with reference to Figures 1 and 2, according to the invention it is advantageous to carry out a lateral injection of water into the receptacles 2a, 2b. In the configuration of Figure 3, the water supply path towards the extraction chamber comprises a passage from the injector 25 (itself preferably connected to a further upstream part of the fluid circuit, which may include a pump, a boiler) to the receptacles 2a, 2b, passing through the space bounded by the outer wall of the sleeve 20. The water supply circuit 26 then comprises a clearance passage between the outer surface 22 of the sleeve 20 and the inner surface of the body 24, as shown in Figure 4.

[0079] In the downward direction, the passage of water is inhibited by the gasket 23 which seals the support at this level between the outer surface of the sleeve 20 and the inner wall surface of the body portion 24 .

[0080] Conversely, while flowing upwards, the water flows through a passage 27 between the underside 3 of the tray 4 and the distal end of the sleeve 20. The water path formed by the portions 26 and 27 does not need to have a large volume. In particular, a distance of at least 1 / 10 of a millimeter between the distal end of the sleeve 20 and the underside 3 of the tray 4 is sufficient, and the same obtains for the distance between the outer side 22 of the sleeve 20 and the inner side of the body part 24. In some cases, opposite the outlet of the injector 25, the circuit 26 may be made wider, for example by forming a groove in the inner wall of the body part 24.

[0081] In the peripheral region receiving the sealing element, the support 30 advantageously has a cylindrical inner wall which forms the inner surface of the sealing element and also forms a passage space between this inner surface and the outer surface of the sleeve. The clearance allowing the passage of water can be in the same range as indicated previously.

[0082] Advantageously, the support 30 does not come into contact with the underside 3 of the tray 4, nor with the first surface 311 of the annular portion 33 forming the peripheral region. In this context, it should be understood that during the movement of the water, part of the water is introduced into the sealing element at the level of the first gasket 31. The pressure of the water exerted at this level on the underside of the support 30 preferably reinforces the first gasket 31 which is applied to the underside 3.

[0083] As before, during extraction of the beverage, water trickles down inside the receptacles 2a, 2b from a passage 27 at the top of the sleeve. An outlet 28 in the plunger 10 ensures the evacuation of the extracted beverage.

[0084] Preferably, all of the unit's operating cycles are automated to provide optimal productivity and ease of use for the user.

[0085] It should be understood that the contact cooperation between the underside 3 of the tray 4 and the sealing element is an essential aspect for a proper operation. On the other hand, this cooperation can affect the movement of the tray 4. In particular, friction under the tray 4 potentially induces shifts between the theoretical and actual stop positions of the tray. Such shifts can occur upon wear of the gasket 31, or else according to variations in the operating phase of the brewing chambers 1a, 1b, and in the last case, when the brewing is in progress in the brewing chamber, the expansion of the cuttings and the passage of water are likely to increase the friction on the tray 4. Therefore, according to one aspect of the invention, a correction of the braking of the tray 4 is proposed to take into account these variations in friction at its underside 3.

[0086] In this context, the unit is advantageously provided with presence detection sensors, in particular a first sensor 37 and a second sensor 38 illustrated in Figure 6. This figure shows a top view of the tray 4 in which the orifice 5 is arranged equidistant from the mouths of the brewing chambers 1a and 1b, the latter therefore being closed by the tray 4 in this configuration, which may be called the stationary configuration.

[0087] The sensors 37, 38 may implement different technologies, in particular optical or magnetic technologies.

[0088] 6 also clearly shows the radial projections of the tray 4, for example in the form of legs, respectively a first leg 34, a second leg 35 and an intermediate leg 36. The intermediate leg 36 is advantageously arranged at an equal angular distance from the other legs 34, 35. Furthermore, this intermediate leg 36 is configured such that it interacts with at least one of a first sensor 37 and a second sensor 38 during the rotational movement of the tray 4.

[0089] The radial projections formed by the legs define for each one an outer edge whose passage can be detected by a sensor 37, 38 after rotation of the tray 4.

[0090] Preferably, the intermediate leg 36 is aligned with the orifice 5 to form a symmetrical system around this axis of alignment. Preferably, the extraction chamber and the other legs 34, 36 are positioned symmetrically around this axis.

[0091] Advantageously, the relative positions of the legs and sensors are configured such that in this rest position, the first sensor 37 faces the first leg 34 and the second sensor 38 faces the second leg 35 .

[0092] Therefore, a first possible function of the sensor is then to verify this stationary state.

[0093] During the rotational movement of the tray 4, the relative positions of the legs and the sensor are modified, in particular to place the orifice 5 opposite the mouth of one of the brewing chambers. In this context, Figures 7A, 7B and 8 illustrate three temporary intermediate positions of the tray 4 when the orifice 5 is directed towards the mouth of the brewing chamber 1b. This movement is a rotation oriented according to the arrows shown in Figures 7A and 7B. During this movement, the passage of the leg 36 in front of the first sensor 37 can be detected. For example, during this movement, the passage of the downstream edge of the leg 36 in front of the sensor 37 can be detected. This corresponds to the situation in Figure 7A. From the point of view of the sensor 37, this passage is manifested by a falling edge of the detection signal following a rising edge corresponding to the passage of the upstream edge of the leg 36 in front of the sensor 37.

[0094] When the rotational movement continues, as shown in Figure 7B, it is the second leg 35 that reaches the first sensor 37. In particular, it is possible to detect the upstream edge of the leg 35, which is reflected in a rising edge of the detection signal of the sensor 37.

[0095] Since the angular shift between the legs (and in particular between the edges of these legs) is known, the measurement of the time shift between two successive events of Figures 7A and 7B makes it possible to determine the rotation speed. Or, in other words, the time shift reveals, within a factor, the rotation speed of the tray 4. Without determining the rotation speed of the tray, this time shift may also reveal the deviation of this shift with respect to a set value. Thus, if the measured shift is greater than the set value, it is concluded that the rotation speed of the tray is slower than its theoretical speed. If the measured shift is smaller, the opposite conclusion is reached. If the shift is zero, this means that the actual speed of the tray corresponds to its theoretical speed.

[0096] Figure 8 represents the end of the tray movement after this stage, with the orifice 5 now being moved immediately opposite the mouth of the extraction chamber 1b.

[0097] Figures 9A and 9B show an example of a return movement that allows the tray 4 to reach the rest position of Figure 6. As before, Figure 9A demonstrates the detection of a falling edge of the signal of the first sensor 37 when the downstream edge of the leg 36 passes in front of it. Figure 9B reflects the detection of a rising edge of the signal when the upstream edge of the first leg 34 passes in front of the first sensor 37 and / or when the upstream edge of the second leg 35 passes in front of the second sensor 38. As before, the time shift between the events of Figures 9A and 9B can be determined. A conclusion is then reached regarding the rotation speed.

[0098] As a result of this determination, the invention advantageously makes it possible to control the rotation system of the tray 4 and to regulate the braking of the tray.

[0099] Preferably, the control system of the tray 4 also comprises an electronic module configured to apply a power signal to the electric drive motor of the tray. Advantageously, the electronic module further comprises data processing means, for example in the form of at least one processor, and data storage means, for example in the form of at least one memory, preferably including at least one non-transitory storage element. Preferably, a computer program product is stored in the non-transitory memory and comprises instructions for processing said time shift information and instructions for defining commands for modifying the power supply of the motor according to this shift.

[0100] It is therefore possible to adjust the braking of the motor according to the measurements obtained. In this way the accuracy of the positioning of the tray (in particular the orifice 5) with respect to the brewing chamber is increased.

[0101] The present invention is not limited to the embodiments previously described, but extends to all embodiments covered by the claims. [Explanation of symbols]
