Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present application relates to the field of terminal devices, and in particular to foldable display devices. do. [Background technology]
[0002] At present, a foldable display device usually includes a rotating shaft and two bodies. The rotating shaft is rotatably connected with respect to the two bodies. Electronic elements such as a circuit board are disposed on each body. To realize the electrical connection of the electronic elements of the two bodies, the foldable display device connects the two bodies by using a flexible circuit board that can pass through the shaft. Usually, the flexible circuit board has an extra length to realize the unfolded state and the folded state of the foldable display device. To prevent the flexible circuit board from being easily broken or scratched against another structure, the flexible circuit board may be redundant in the rotating shaft to reduce the space occupied by the flexible circuit board. Alternatively, the flexible circuit board may be redundant under the door plate of the rotating shaft, but this requires occupying a large space. In addition, to realize the heat dissipation of the electronic elements of the two bodies, a graphite sheet may be placed under the flexible display covering the surface of the two bodies. Specifically, the foldable display device is attached to two bodies respectively and separated from the rotating shaft area by using two graphite sheets, so the heat cannot be transferred between the two bodies, which may result in uneven heat dissipation between the two bodies. Summary of the Invention
[0003] In view of the above, there is a need to provide a foldable display device that avoids uneven heat dissipation between the two bodies and positions two opposing ends of a portion of a flexible heat sink within a rotating shaft assembly.
[0004] An embodiment of the present application provides a foldable display device, where the foldable display device comprises a first frame, a second frame, a rotating shaft assembly, and a flexible circuit board, the flexible circuit board passing through the rotating shaft assembly, and the rotating shaft assembly comprises a shaft seat, a door plate, a first support plate, and a second support plate, the door plate is attached to the shaft seat, the first support plate and the second support plate are slidably connected to the shaft seat, the first support plate and the second support plate are distributed on two sides of the door plate, an end of the first support plate and close to the door plate and an end of the second support plate and close to the door plate can move in a direction away from the door plate, and an end of the first support plate and close to the door plate and an end of the second support plate and close to the door plate can approach each other. The foldable display device further comprises a flexible heat sink, the flexible heat sink passing through the rotating shaft assembly, two opposing ends of the flexible heat sink being connected to the first frame and the second frame, and two opposing ends of a portion of the flexible heat sink on the rotating shaft assembly being fixed respectively to a first fixing surface of the first support plate and facing the shaft seat, and a second fixing surface of the second support plate and facing the shaft seat.
[0005] In this application, the flexible heat sink passes through the rotating shaft assembly, and two ends of the flexible heat sink are connected to the first frame and the second frame, and heat transfer between the first frame and the second frame through the flexible heat sink can be performed. Two opposing ends of a portion of the flexible heat sink in the rotating shaft assembly can be fixed under the movable first support plate and the movable second support plate, and the two opposing ends of the portion of the flexible heat sink in the rotating shaft assembly can be arranged. As a result, the two opposing ends of the portion of the flexible heat sink in the rotating shaft assembly can be arranged to avoid the flexible heat sink moving in the length direction when the foldable display device is folded or unfolded, resulting in large deformation and position change of the flexible heat sink.
[0006] According to some embodiments of the present application, the flexible heat sink covers the flexible circuit board within the rotating shaft assembly.
[0007] In this application, the flexible heat sink covers the flexible circuit board and improves the space utilization of the rotating shaft assembly.
[0008] According to some embodiments of the present application, the rotating shaft assembly further includes a housing, the shaft seat is attached to the housing, the shaft seat and the housing collectively form a receiving cavity, and the flexible heat sink and the flexible circuit board are partially received within the receiving cavity.
[0009] In this application, the flexible heat sink and the flexible circuit board are redundant in the receiving cavity, avoiding damage to the flexible circuit board and the flexible heat sink as well as the larger space occupied by the foldable display device.
[0010] According to some embodiments of the present application, a receiving groove is formed in the shaft seat, the receiving groove penetrating the shaft seat, the shaft seat and the housing collectively forming the receiving cavity at the receiving groove, a cross beam is further formed in the shaft seat at the receiving groove, the cross beam is separated from the housing, and an intermediate segment position of the flexible heat sink is of the cross beam and is fixed relative to a surface facing the housing.
[0011] In this application, the shaft seat forms a cross beam with a receiving cavity for receiving the flexible heat sink, and the intermediate segment position of the flexible heat sink can be fixed under the cross beam, so that the intermediate segment position of the flexible heat sink can be located, and the flexible heat sink can be divided into two segments having similar lengths in the length direction. Therefore, the displacement and bending deformation generated by the foldable display device when the flexible heat sink is folded or unfolded is smaller, and the displacement and bending amount can be more easily controlled.
[0012] According to some embodiments of the present application, the cross beam extends from a first side wall of the shaft seat close to the receiving groove to a second side wall opposite the first side wall and separated from another side wall of the shaft seat close to the receiving groove.
[0013] According to some embodiments of the present application, the cross beam and another side wall of the shaft seat near the accommodating groove form a first interval and a second interval, and the flexible heat sink and the flexible circuit board enter the accommodating cavity through the first interval and exit the accommodating cavity through the second interval.
[0014] In this application, the cross beam and the shaft seat define a first interval and a second interval such that the flexible heat sink and the flexible circuit board enter the receiving cavity through the first interval and exit the receiving cavity through the second interval, and the flexible heat sink and the flexible circuit board may pass through a rotating shaft assembly.
[0015] According to some embodiments of the present application, the housing comprises an inner housing surface and a positioning member, the positioning member fixedly attached to the inner housing surface and disposed within the receiving cavity, the cross beam and the positioning member being separated from one another and co-locating intermediate segment positions of the flexible circuit board and the flexible heat sink.
[0016] In this application, the positioning members attached to the housing and the cross beam jointly position the intermediate segment positions of the flexible circuit board and the flexible heat sink, so that the flexible circuit board and the flexible heat sink can be divided into two segments having similar lengths in the length direction. Therefore, the displacement and bending deformation generated by the foldable display device when the flexible circuit board and the flexible heat sink are folded or unfolded is smaller, and the displacement and bending amount can be more easily controlled.
[0017] According to some embodiments of the present application, the foldable display device further includes a cushioning member disposed on the positioning member and spaced apart from the cross beam, the cushioning member configured to avoid damage to the flexible circuit board by the positioning member through elastic deformation.
[0018] In this application, the buffer member is disposed on the positioning member and is separated from the cross beam, so that damage to the flexible circuit board caused by the positioning member can be avoided. In addition, by using the buffer member, the connection position between the flexible circuit board and the cross beam can be slightly changed, so as to avoid the risk of breakage caused by the stretched flexible circuit board.
[0019] According to some embodiments of the present application, a first side of the first frame and a first side of the second frame are configured to mount a flexible display, and a second side of the first frame and a second side of the second frame are configured to mount an electronic device, two opposite ends of the flexible heat sink are connected to the first side of the first frame and the first side of the second frame, and two opposite ends of the flexible circuit board are connected to the second side of the first frame and the second side of the second frame, and the second side is opposite to the first side.
[0020] In this application, the flexible heat sink and the flexible circuit board are disposed on different sides of the first frame and the second frame, so that the heat dissipation of the flexible heat sink to the frame and the connection of the electronic components to the flexible circuit board can be implemented, and mutual interference between the flexible heat sink and the flexible circuit board can be avoided.
[0021] According to some embodiments of the present application, the foldable display device further includes a first bracket, a second bracket, a first synchronization arm, a second synchronization arm, and a cam wheel structure, where the first bracket is rotatably connected to the first support plate, the second bracket is rotatably connected to the second support plate, and the first bracket and the second bracket are rotatably connected to the shaft seat, the first synchronization arm is slidably connected to the first bracket and rotatably connected to the first bracket, and the second synchronization arm is slidably connected to the second bracket and rotatably connected to the second bracket, and the cam wheel structure is disposed on the shaft seat and includes a concave-convex structure, and the first synchronization arm and the second synchronization arm are connected to the cam wheel structure via the concave-convex structure to realize damping of the rotation of the first bracket and the second bracket.
[0022] In this application, the first and second synchronization arms are connected to the cam wheel structure through a concave-convex structure, which realizes damping of the rotation of the first bracket and the second bracket, so that the speed of folding or unfolding the foldable display device can be slightly slowed down, improving the stability of the folding or unfolding of the foldable display device and improving the user's usage experience. [0026] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a conventional foldable display device in a flattened state, and FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a conventional foldable display device in a folded state. The foldable display device 1 uses a steel sheet 11 to assist in locating two ends of a flexible circuit board 13 that can pass through a shaft. Specifically, the foldable display device 1 includes a first frame 14, a second frame 15, and a rotating shaft assembly 16. The rotating shaft assembly 16 is rotatably connected between the first frame 14 and the second frame 15. The flexible circuit board 13 passes through the rotating shaft assembly 16 and is connected to the first frame 14 and the second frame 15. The steel plate 11 is pressed against the flexible circuit board 13, and may be fixed to the first frame 14 and the second frame 15, for example, by a method of locking a screw or a buckle, so that the flexible circuit board 13 can be fixed to the first frame 14 and the second frame 15 of the foldable display device 1. However, the conventional foldable display device 1 is configured such that the flexible circuit board 13 only passes through the area of the rotating shaft assembly 16, so that the space utilization rate of the rotating shaft assembly 16 is low, and the heat dissipation of the conventional first frame 14 and the second frame 15 is uneven.
[0027] Please refer to FIG. 3 to FIG. 6. FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram showing the structure of a foldable display device in a flat state according to a first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a foldable display device in an unfolded state according to a first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 5 is a schematic view of a foldable display device in a folded state according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 6 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a foldable display device in a folded state according to a first embodiment of the present invention. The foldable display device 1 may be a foldable display mobile phone, a foldable display e-book, a foldable display laptop computer, etc. The following will specifically explain the solution provided in this embodiment of the present application by using an example in which this embodiment of the present application is applied in a foldable display mobile phone. In FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, a flexible display is not shown. However, it will be understood that when the foldable display device is in an unfolded state, a flexible display is included.
[0028] The foldable display device 3 includes a first frame 4, a second frame 5, a rotating shaft assembly 6, a flexible display 7, a flexible circuit board 8, and a flexible heat sink 9. Electronic elements inside the foldable display device 3, such as a circuit board, a processor, a memory, a battery, a camera module, an earphone module, a speaker module, a microphone module, an antenna module, and a sensor module, may be fixed separately to the first frame 4 and the second frame 5. The first frame 4 and the second frame 5 are rotatably connected by using the rotating shaft assembly 6, and can be rotated around the rotating shaft assembly 6 to be in a flat state or a folded state. The flexible display 7 covers both the first frame 4 and the second frame 5. The flexible circuit board 8 passes through the rotating shaft assembly 6 and is connected to the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 to implement the connection of the electronic elements in the first frame 4 and the second frame 5. The flexible heat sink 9 passes through the rotating shaft assembly 6, and two ends of the flexible heat sink 9 are connected to the first frame 4 and the second frame 5, and the two ends of the flexible heat sink 9 are fixed to the first frame 4 and the second frame 5. The flexible heat sink 9 and the flexible circuit board 8 pass through the rotating shaft assembly 6 through the same area of the rotating shaft assembly 6. The flexible heat sink 9 transfers the heat of the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 to each other, so that the temperature of the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 is even. The flexible heat sink 9 may be made of a thermally conductive material. The thermally conductive material may be, for example, a material such as graphite or carbon fiber. In order to realize the unfolded state and the folded state of the foldable display device 3, the flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 have an extra length. As shown in FIG. 3, when the foldable display device 3 is in an unfolded state, the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 are generally parallel to each other and in the same plane, and in this case, the flexible display 7 unfolds to form a larger display area. Obviously, the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 may not be generally parallel, that is, the included angle between the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 may have some deviation from 180°. For example, the included angle between the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 may be 176°, 182°, etc. When the foldable display device 3 is in a folded state, the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 may be completely closed, and there is no gap or there is a slight gap between the first frame 4 and the second frame 5, which can play a good role in waterproofing, dustproofing, and foreign object prevention. The first frame 4 and the second frame 5 can be completely closed to expose the rotating shaft assembly 6. In this way, the first frame 4, the second frame 5 and the rotating shaft assembly 6 collectively form the outer surface of the foldable display device 3, and the flexible display 7 is also in a folded state and located inside the foldable display device 3, and the foldable display device 3 has a small size. It will be understood that the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 may not be completely closed, but only the ends of the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 that are remote from the rotating shaft assembly 6 are in contact with each other.
[0029] The first frame 4 and the second frame 5 may also be relatively unfolded or relatively folded to an intermediate state, it will be understood that the intermediate state may be any state between the flat state and the folded state, and the flexible display 7 moves together with the first frame 4 and the second frame 5.
[0030] It will be understood that the foldable display device 3 may include two frames, for example the aforementioned first frame 4 and the aforementioned second frame 5, or the foldable display device 3 may include three or more frames. Two adjacent frames may be connected by using a rotating shaft assembly 6, respectively. The flexible display 7 covers three or more frames. The following specifically describes the solution provided in this embodiment of the present application by using an example in which the foldable display device 3 includes two frames.
[0031] Referring to FIG. 4 and FIG. 7, FIG. 7 is a schematic diagram of the connection between the rotating shaft assembly, the flexible circuit board, and the graphite of the foldable display device. As shown in FIG. 7, in order to prevent the flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 from being easily broken or scratched to other structures, the flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 pass through the rotating shaft assembly 6 and are redundant in the rotating shaft assembly 6. The flexible circuit board 8 can be positioned at an end position by using a first positioning device and a second positioning device. For example, the end position of the flexible circuit board 8 is fixed with respect to the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 by using a first steel plate and a second steel plate, so that large deformation and position change of the flexible circuit board 8 can be avoided when the foldable display device 3 is folded or unfolded. The flexible heat sink 9 is positioned by the rotating shaft assembly 6 in the rotating shaft assembly 6. The flexible heat sink 9 is positioned by the rotating shaft assembly 6 in the rotating shaft assembly 6. And this will be described in more detail below.
[0032] Fig. 8 is a schematic exploded view of a rotating shaft assembly of a foldable display device, and Fig. 9 is a schematic view of a structure in which a shaft seat of the rotating shaft assembly is attached to a housing. The rotating shaft assembly 6 includes a housing 60, a shaft seat 61, a first bracket 62, a second bracket 63, a damping device 64, a door plate 65, a first support plate 66, and a second support plate 67.
[0033] The housing 60 includes a housing surface 600 and a mounting cavity 601. The housing surface 600 is a smooth surface, and the shaft seat 61 is mounted within the mounting cavity 601.
[0034] 6, 8 and 9, the shaft seat 61 may be mounted in the mounting cavity 601 of the housing 60 by using a fastening structure, which may be a screw or a bolt, or the shaft seat 61 may be attached in the mounting cavity 601 of the housing 60 by adhesive, welding, snap-fitting, or otherwise, which is not limited in the present application. An accommodation groove 610 is formed in the shaft seat 61, and the accommodation groove 610 penetrates the shaft seat 61. The shaft seat 61 and the housing 60 jointly form an accommodation cavity 611 at the accommodation groove 610. The accommodation cavity 611 is configured to receive the flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9. In this embodiment, the flexible heat sink 9 and the flexible circuit board 8 are partially received in the accommodation cavity 611.
[0035] A cross beam 612 is further formed in the shaft seat 61 at the receiving groove 610. The cross beam 612 extends from a first side wall 613 of the shaft seat 61 close to the receiving groove 610 to a second side wall 614 opposite the first side wall 613, and thus the cross beam 612 covers a part of the receiving groove 610. The cross beam 612 is separated from the other side walls of the shaft seat 61 close to the receiving groove 610 to form a first interval 615 and a second interval 616. In FIG. 9, the cross beam 612 is separated from a third side wall 617 and a fourth side wall 618 of the shaft seat 61 close to the receiving groove 610 to form the first interval 615 and the second interval 616. The cross beam 612 is separated from the housing 60. The flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 enter the receiving cavity 611 through a first interval 615, are redundant in the receiving cavity 611, and exit the receiving cavity 611 through a second interval 616. In the receiving cavity 611, the flexible heat sink 9 is disposed above the flexible circuit board 8 and covers the flexible circuit board 8. And the flexible heat sink 9 may be in contact with the flexible circuit board 8 or may not be in contact with the flexible circuit board 8. In the receiving cavity 611, the size of the flexible heat sink 9 in the length direction of the rotating shaft assembly 6 may be equal to the size of the area occupied by the flexible circuit board 8 in that direction. In this case, the entire area of the flexible circuit board 8 in the rotating shaft assembly 6 is covered by the flexible heat sink 9, so that no additional space of the rotating shaft assembly 6 is needed to receive the flexible heat sink 9, thereby improving the space utilization of the rotating shaft assembly 6.
[0036] The first bracket 62 may be rotatably connected to the shaft seat 61, and the second bracket 63 may be rotatably connected to the shaft seat 61, the first bracket 62 and the second bracket 63 being disposed on two opposite sides of the shaft seat 61, and the shaft seat 61 is attached to the housing 60. The first bracket 62 is fixedly connected to the first frame 4, and the second bracket 63 is fixedly connected to the second frame 5. Therefore, when the first bracket 62 rotates with respect to the shaft seat 61 and the second bracket 63 rotates with respect to the shaft seat 61, the first frame 4 moves with respect to the second frame 5. That is, the first frame 4 driven by the first bracket 62 and the second frame 5 driven by the second bracket 63 are folded relatively or unfolded relatively.
[0037] 4, 8, 9, 10, and 11, FIG. 10 is a schematic exploded view of the damping device of the rotating shaft assembly, and FIG. 11 is a schematic assembly view of the damping device of the rotating shaft assembly. The damping device 64 may be mounted on the shaft seat 61. The damping device 64 includes a rotating shaft 640, an elastic member 641, a cam wheel structure 642, a first damping arm 643, and a second damping arm 644. The rotating shaft 640 may be mounted on the shaft seat 61. The rotating shaft 640 is configured to connect to the cam wheel structure 642, the first damping arm 643, and the second damping arm 644. In this embodiment, there are multiple rotating shafts 640. The multiple rotating shafts 640 are spaced on the shaft seat 61, and the multiple rotating shafts 640 cooperate with the cam wheel structure 642, the first damping arm 643, and the second damping arm 644 separately to realize the rotation connection between the cam wheel structure 642, the first damping arm 643, and the second damping arm 644, respectively, and the shaft seat 61. It should be noted that there are four rotating shafts 640 in FIG. 9, and the following will specifically illustrate the solution provided in this embodiment of the present application by using one example in which the damping device 64 includes four rotating shafts 640. However, the number of the rotating shafts 640 in this embodiment is not limited to four. FIG. 9 is merely an exemplary representation. The number of the rotating shafts 640 may be three, five, etc., and may be arranged based on the requirements and installation space. The elastic member 641 is sleeved onto the rotating shafts 640.
[0038] A cam wheel structure 642 is fitted to the rotating shaft 640 so as to abut on one end of the elastic member 641. The cam wheel structure 642 includes two first cam wheels 6420 fixedly connected to each other. The two first cam wheels 6420 are fitted to the outermost of the two rotating shafts 640. A concave and convex structure 6421 is disposed on each of the surfaces of the first cam wheels 6420 that are away from the elastic member 641. In this embodiment, the two first cam wheels 6420 are fixedly connected to each other by using a connector 6422. A through hole 6423 is formed in the connector 6422. The through hole 6423 is configured so that the two intermediate rotating shafts 640 can pass through.
[0039] One end of the first damping arm 643 is slidably connected to the first bracket 62, and the other end of the first damping arm 643 is rotatably connected to the shaft seat 61 and engaged with the cam wheel structure 642 on the shaft seat 61 by using a concave-convex structure 6421. One end of the second damping arm 644 is slidably connected to the second bracket 63, and the other end of the second damping arm 644 is rotatably connected to the shaft seat 61 and engaged with the cam wheel structure 642 on the shaft seat 61 by using a concave-convex structure 6421. The cam wheel structure 642 is configured to hinder the movement of the first damping arm 643 and the second damping arm 644, slow down the movement of the first bracket 62 and the second bracket 63 driven by the first damping arm 643 and the second damping arm 644, and slow down the movement of the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 driven by the first bracket 62 and the second bracket 63 during the process of moving the foldable display device 3, thereby realizing the stability of the folding or unfolding of the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 and improving the operating experience of the foldable display device 3.
[0040] The first damping arm 643 includes a movable end 6430, a damping end 6433, and a connecting segment 6438, and the connecting segment 6438 is connected to the movable end 6430 and the damping end 6433. The rotating shaft hole is of the movable end 6430 of the first damping arm 643 and is located at the end remote from the connecting segment 6438. The rotating shaft hole 6431 passes through the movable end 6430. The first damping arm 643 is slidably connected to the first bracket 62 by using the rotating shaft hole 6431. The damping end 6433 of the first damping arm 643 is in contact with the cam wheel structure 642. The damping end 6433 of the first damping arm 643 includes a second cam wheel 6434. The uneven structure 6421 is of the second cam wheel 6434 and is located on a surface that contacts the first cam wheel 6420. The second cam wheel 6434 engages with the first cam wheel 6420 through the use of a recessed and raised structure 6421. The first damping arm 643 may be integrally formed into a structural member to have high structural strength.
[0041] The second damping arm 644 includes a movable end 6440, a damping end 6443, and a connecting segment 6448, and the connecting segment 6448 is connected to the movable end 6440 and the damping end 6443. For the specific structure of the movable end 6440 and the damping end 6443 of the second damping arm 644, please refer to the structure of the movable end 6440 and the damping end 6443 of the first damping arm 643. The details will not be described again here. The second damping arm 644 can be integrally formed into a structural member so as to have high structural strength.
[0042] In the process of switching between the flat state and the folded state, the first damping arm 643 rotates with respect to the shaft seat 61, and the first damping arm 643 slides with respect to the first bracket 62 and rotates with respect to the first bracket 62. The second damping arm 644 rotates with respect to the shaft seat 61, and the second damping arm 644 can slide with respect to the second bracket 63 and rotate with respect to the second bracket 63. In this case, the damping device 64 can provide damping for the rotation and sliding of the first damping arm 643 and the second damping arm 644. Specifically, the first damping arm 643 rotates with respect to the shaft seat 61, and the damping end 6433 of the first damping arm 643 drives the cam wheel structure 642 toward the elastic member 641 by using the concave-convex structure 6421 to further compress the elastic member 641 or drive the elastic member 641 to rotate. The second damping arm 644 rotates with respect to the shaft seat 61, and the damping end 6443 of the second damping arm 644 drives the cam wheel structure 642 toward the elastic member 641 by using the concave-convex structure 6421 to further compress the elastic member 641 or drive the elastic member 641 to rotate. Therefore, the elastic member 641 can provide an opening / closing damping force. In this way, in the process in which the first damping arm 643 drives the first bracket 62 and the second damping arm 644 drives the second bracket 63 to rotate synchronously, the opening / closing damping force provided by the elastic member 641 can slow down the speed of folding or unfolding the foldable display device 3, improve the stability of folding or unfolding the foldable display device 3, and improve the user's usage experience.
[0043] Since the two first cam wheels 6420 of the cam wheel structure 642 are fixedly connected, the magnitude of the rotation angle of the damping end 6433 of the first damping arm 643 and the damping end 6443 of the second damping arm 644 are the same, and the rotational movements of the first damping arm 643 and the second damping arm 644 relative to the shaft seat 61 are synchronous. The first damping arm 643 and the second damping arm 644 drive the first bracket 62 and the second bracket 63 to move synchronously, and the first bracket 62 and the second bracket 63 drive the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 to move synchronously, thereby realizing the relative folding or relative unfolding of the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 and improving the user's use experience.
[0044] The damping device 64 further includes a synchronizer 645, and the synchronizer 645 may be attached to the shaft seat 61. The synchronizer 645 is rotatably connected with respect to the shaft seat 61. The other end of the first damping arm 643 further meshes with the synchronizer 645 at the shaft seat 61 by using a gear. The other end of the second damping arm 644 further meshes with the synchronizer 645 at the shaft seat 61 by using a gear. The synchronizer 645 may include two synchronizer gears 6450, where the synchronizer gear 6450 includes a first rotating part 6451 and a first gear part 6453 arranged around the first rotating part 6451, the first rotating part 6451 is provided with a first rotating hole 6452, and the first rotating hole 6452 passes through the first rotating part 6451. The first rotating hole 6452 is configured to allow the rotating shaft 640 to pass through. The first gear portion 6453 is provided with a plurality of gears, and the plurality of gears protrude relative to the first rotating portion 6451 .
[0045] It will be understood that there are multiple synchronous gears 6450, the multiple synchronous gears 6450 are arranged in series, and the first gear portions 6453 of two adjacent synchronous gears 6450 mesh with each other. The synchronous gears 6450 may be integrally formed into a structural member to have high structural strength.
[0046] The quantity, size, etc. of the synchronization gears 6450 of the synchronization device 645 can be designed based on the model of the product, such as a specific shape and size, which is not strictly limited in the present application. The more the number of the synchronization gears 6450 and the smaller the size of the synchronization gears 6450, the more space can be released, and the fewer the number of the synchronization gears 6450, the larger the size of the synchronization gears 6450, and the smaller the driving cumulative error of the synchronization gears 6450, the more conducive to improving the accuracy of the movement.
[0047] The damping end 6433 of the first damping arm 643 further includes a second rotating part 6435 and a second gear part 6437 arranged around the second rotating part 6435. The second rotating part 6435 is connected to the connecting segment 6438 of the first damping arm 643. The end of the second rotating part 6435 and remote from the connecting segment 6438 of the first damping arm 643 is fixedly connected to the second cam wheel 6434. The second gear part 6437 includes a plurality of gears. The plurality of gears of the second gear part 6437 are configured to mesh with the plurality of gears of the first gear part 6453. The second rotating part 6435 includes a second rotating hole 6436, and the second rotating hole 6436 passes through the second rotating part 6435. The second rotating hole 6436 is configured to allow the rotating shaft 640 to pass through.
[0048] When the first damping arm 643 rotates relative to the shaft seat 61, the damping end 6433 of the first damping arm 643 further meshes with the damping end 6443 of the second damping arm 644 by using the gear of the synchronizer 645, so that the magnitude of the rotation angle of the damping end 6433 of the first damping arm 643 and the damping end 6443 of the second damping arm 644 is the same, and the rotation motion of the first damping arm 643 and the second damping arm 644 relative to the shaft seat 61 is synchronous.
[0049] 6, 8 and 9, the door plate 65 is attached to the shaft seat 61. When the foldable display device 3 is in the process of switching between the flat state and the folded state, the door plate 65 may be moved in a direction away from the shaft seat 61, and the door plate 65 may be moved in a direction toward the shaft seat 61. In other words, the door plate 65 is a rising / lowering plate body, and the door plate 65 may be connected to the shaft seat 61 in a rising / lowering manner. Specifically, in the process of unfolding the foldable display device 3, the door plate 65 moves in a direction away from the shaft seat 61. That is, the door plate 65 gradually rises to support the flexible display 7. In the process of folding the foldable display device 3, the door plate 65 moves in a direction approaching the shaft seat portion 61, i.e., the door plate 65 gradually descends to cooperate with the first support plate 66 and the second support plate 67 to form an accommodation space for accommodating the flexible display 7.
[0050] The first support plate 66 is rotatably connected to the first bracket 62, and the first support plate 66 is slidably connected to the shaft seat 61. The first support plate 66 can rotate with respect to the first bracket 62, and the first support plate 66 can slide with respect to the shaft seat 61 at the same time. In addition, there is a gap between the first support plate 66 and the first bracket 62 and the shaft seat 61, respectively, and the gap is configured to allow the flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 to pass through. The first support plate 66 includes a first support surface 660 and a first fastening surface 661 facing the first support surface 660. The first support surface 660 is used to support the flexible display 7. The first fastening surface 661 faces the shaft seat 61 and is used to fasten the flexible heat sink 9. The first support plate 66 and the second support plate 67 are distributed on both sides of the door plate 65. The second support plate 67 is rotatably connected to the second bracket 63, and the second support plate 67 is slidably connected to the shaft seat 61. The second support plate 67 can rotate with respect to the second bracket 63, and the second support plate 67 can slide with respect to the shaft seat 61 at the same time. In addition, there is a gap between the second support plate 67 and the second bracket 63 and the shaft seat 61, and the gap is configured to allow the flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 to pass through. The second support plate 67 includes a second support surface 670 and a second fixing surface 671 facing the second support surface 670. The second support surface 670 is used to support the flexible display 7. The second fixing surface 671 faces the shaft seat 61 and is used to fix the flexible heat sink 9.
[0051] Before entering the receiving cavity 611 through the first interval 615, the flexible heat sink 9 may be attached to the first frame 4 and connected to the first side 41 of the first frame 4 and close to the flexible display 7, and enter the receiving cavity 611 through the gap between the first support plate 66 and the shaft seat 61, the gap between the first support plate 66 and the first bracket 62, and the first interval 615. After leaving the receiving cavity 611 through the second interval 616, the flexible heat sink 9 may be attached to the second frame 5 through the gap between the second support plate 67 and the shaft seat 61, and the gap between the second support plate 67 and the second bracket 63, and connected to the first side 51 of the second frame 5 and close to the flexible display 7. The first side 41 of the first frame 4 and the first side 51 of the second frame 5 carry the flexible display 7.
[0052] In order to prevent the flexible heat sink 9 from moving in the length direction when the foldable display device 3 is folded or unfolded, resulting in a large deformation and position change of the flexible heat sink 9, the flexible heat sink 9 may be disposed at two ends. Specifically, before the flexible heat sink 9 enters the receiving cavity 611, the flexible heat sink 9 is fixed to a first fixing surface 661 of the first support plate 66. After the flexible heat sink 9 leaves the receiving cavity 611, the flexible heat sink 9 is fixed to a second fixing surface 671 of the second support plate 67. That is, two opposite ends of a part of the flexible heat sink 9 in the rotating shaft assembly 6 are fixed to the first fixing surface 661 of the first support plate 66 and facing the shaft seat 61, and the second fixing surface 671 of the second support plate 67 and facing the shaft seat 61, respectively. The flexible heat sink 9 may be secured to the first fastening surface 661 of the first support plate 66 by using a fastening structure, which may be a screw or a bolt, for example. The flexible heat sink 9 may be secured to the second fastening surface 671 of the second support plate 67 by using a fastening structure, which may be a screw or a bolt, for example. Alternatively, the flexible heat sink 9 may be secured to the first fastening surface 661 of the first support plate 66 by adhesive, snap-fit, or in other manner. Alternatively, the flexible heat sink 9 may be secured to the second fastening surface 671 of the second support plate 67 by adhesive, snap-fit, or in other manner.
[0053] In order to prevent the middle segment of the flexible heat sink 9 from being in a suspension state of free bending, a length of a part of the flexible heat sink 9 can be shortened, so that the flexible heat sink 9 is divided into two segments having similar lengths in the length direction. As a result, the displacement and bending deformation generated by the foldable display device 3 when the flexible heat sink 9 is folded or unfolded is smaller, and the displacement and bending amount is easier to control, and the flexible heat sink 9 can be disposed at the middle segment position. Specifically, when the flexible heat sink 9 is received in the receiving cavity 611, the flexible heat sink 9 is of the cross beam 612 and is fixed to a surface facing the housing 60. The flexible heat sink 9 can be fixed to the surface of the cross beam 612 in the receiving cavity 611 by using a fastening structure, which can be, for example, a screw or a bolt. Alternatively, the flexible heat sink 9 can be fixed to the surface of the cross beam 612 in the receiving cavity 611 by adhesive, snap-fit, or another method.
[0054] Before entering the receiving cavity 611 through the first interval 615, the flexible circuit board 8 may be connected to an electronic element fixed to the first frame 4, i.e., of the first frame 4 and connected to the second side 42 remote from the flexible display 7, and may be positioned (located) by a first positioning device, and enter the receiving cavity 611 through the gap between the first support plate 66 and the shaft seat 61, the gap between the first support plate 66 and the first bracket 62, and the first interval 615. After leaving the receiving cavity 611 through the second interval 616, the flexible circuit board 8 may be positioned by a second positioning device, i.e., of the second frame 5 and connected to the second side 52 remote from the flexible display 7. The second side 42 of the first frame 4 faces the first side 41 of the first frame 4. The second side 52 of the second frame 5 faces the first side 51 of the second frame 5. The second side 42 of the first frame 4 and the second side 52 of the second frame 5 are configured for mounting an electronic component. It will be understood that the first side 41 of the first frame 4 and the first side 51 of the second frame 5 may also be configured for mounting an electronic component.
[0055] 5, 6, 8 and 9, in the process of folding the foldable display device 3, the door plate 65 moves in a direction approaching the shaft seat 61, and the end of the first support plate 66 and close to the door plate 65 and the end of the second support plate 67 and close to the door plate 65 move in a direction away from the door plate 65. The end of the first support plate 66 and far from the door plate 65 and the end of the second support plate 67 and far from the door plate 65 move toward each other, and the door plate 65, the first support plate 66 and the second support plate 67 are automatically avoided and jointly form a storage space, where the storage space is used to store the flexible display 7.
[0056] In the process of folding the foldable display device 3, the first support plate 66 and the second support plate 67 further drive and move the flexible heat sink 9. The flexible heat sink 9 includes three parts based on the positional relationship between the first support plate 66 and the second support plate 67, and the three parts are a first part 91, a second part 92, and a third part 93, respectively. The first part 91 of the flexible heat sink 9 belongs to the first support plate 66 and is disposed on a side away from the second support plate 67, the second part 92 of the flexible heat sink 9 is disposed between the first support plate 66 and the second support plate 67, and the third part 93 of the flexible heat sink 9 belongs to the second support plate 67 and is disposed on a side away from the first support plate 66. A first portion 91 of the flexible heat sink 9 is fixed to the first support plate 66 and the first frame 4, an intermediate position of the second portion 92 of the flexible heat sink 9 is fixed to the cross beam 612 between the first support plate 66 and the second support plate 67, and another portion of the second portion 92 of the flexible heat sink 9 is in an unfastened state between the first support plate 66 and the cross beam 612 and between the second support plate 67 and the cross beam 612. A third portion 93 of the flexible heat sink 9 is fixed to the second support plate 67 and the second frame 5. When the first support plate 66 and the second support plate 67 drive and move the flexible heat sink 9, the shape of the second portion 92 of the flexible heat sink 9 changes and bends into an approximately heart shape, and is disposed outside the first support plate 66, the door plate 65, and the second support plate 67.
[0057] In the process of folding the foldable display device 3, the first positioning device and the second positioning device also move simultaneously. The first positioning device and the second positioning device drive and move the flexible circuit board 8. The flexible circuit board 8 includes three parts based on the positional relationship between the first positioning device and the second positioning device, and the three parts are a first part 83, a second part 84, and a third part 85, respectively. The first part 83 of the flexible circuit board 8 belongs to the first positioning device and is disposed on the side away from the second positioning device, the second part 84 of the flexible circuit board 8 is disposed between the first positioning device and the second positioning device, and the third part 85 of the flexible circuit board 8 belongs to the second positioning device and is disposed on the side away from the first positioning device. The first part 83 of the flexible circuit board 8 is fixed to the first positioning device and the first frame 4, and the second part 84 of the flexible circuit board 8 is in an unfixed state between the first positioning device and the second positioning device. The third portion 85 of the flexible circuit board 8 is fixed to the second positioning device and the second frame 5. When the first positioning device and the second positioning device drive and move the flexible circuit board 8, the shape of the second portion 84 of the flexible circuit board 8 changes and bends into an approximate droplet shape, and is disposed outside the first support plate 66, the door plate 65, and the second support plate 67.
[0058] 3, 4, 8 and 9, in the process of unfolding the foldable display device 3, the door plate 65 moves in a direction away from the shaft seat 61. When the foldable display device 3 is in a completely flat state, the support surface 650 of the door plate 65 is flush with the first support surface 660 of the first support plate 66 and the second support surface 670 of the second support plate 67. In other words, when the foldable display device 3 is in a flat state, the support surface 650 of the door plate 65, the first support surface 660 of the first support plate 66 and the second support surface 670 of the second support plate 67 are used to enable the flexible display 7 (shown in FIG. 6) to be in a flat state. When a user performs a touch operation, the door plate 65, the first support plate 66 and the second support plate 67 can provide a flat and strong support for the flexible display 7, thereby improving the user's operation experience and image viewing experience.
[0059] In the process of unfolding the foldable display device 3, the first support plate 66 and the second support plate 67 further drive and move the flexible heat sink 9. The second portion 92 of the flexible heat sink 9 generally assumes a substantially horizontal shape and is attached to the first support plate 66, the cross beam 612, and the second support plate 67.
[0060] In the process of unfolding the foldable display device 3, the first positioning device and the second positioning device also move simultaneously. The first positioning device and the second positioning device drive and move the flexible circuit board 8. The shape of the second portion 84 of the flexible circuit board 8 changes and is in a free bending state on the rotating shaft assembly 6.
[0061] In this application, the flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 can pass through the rotating shaft assembly 6 at the same area of the rotating shaft assembly 6 to effectively use the space of the rotating shaft assembly 6, and the flexible heat sink 9 can transfer the heat of the first frame 4 to the second frame 5. The flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 are redundant in the rotating shaft assembly 6, and avoid the damage of the flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 and the larger space occupied by the foldable display device 3. By fixing both ends of the flexible heat sink 9 to the first support plate 66 and the second support plate 67, the internal structure of the rotating shaft assembly 6 can be used, so that the displacement and bending deformation generated when the flexible heat sink 9 is folded or unfolded by the foldable display device 3 is small, and the displacement and bending amount can be easily controlled. The flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 are redundant in the accommodation cavity 611 consisting of the shaft seat 61 and the housing 60, so that the flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 can be redundant in the rotating shaft assembly 6 by using a structure in the rotating shaft assembly 6. The cross beam 612 is formed in the accommodation cavity 611 by using the shaft seat 61, so that the case where the flexible circuit board 8 and the flexible heat sink 9 are removed from the accommodation cavity 611 is avoided. By fixing the middle segment of the flexible heat sink 9 to the cross beam 612 of the shaft seat 61, the flexible heat sink 9 can be divided into two segments having similar lengths in the length direction. As a result, the displacement and bending deformation generated when the flexible heat sink 9 is folded or unfolded by the foldable display device 3 is smaller, and the displacement and bending amount can be more easily controlled. The flexible circuit board 8 is positioned in the first frame 4 and the second frame 5 by using the first positioning device and the second positioning device, which avoids the displacement and bending deformation generated by the foldable display device 3 when the flexible circuit board 8 is folded or unfolded, and they are smaller, and the displacement and bending amount can be easily controlled.
[0062] Please refer to Fig. 12 to Fig. 14. Fig. 12 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a foldable display device in a flat state according to a second embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 13 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a foldable display device in a folded state according to a second embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 14 is a schematic exploded view of a rotating shaft assembly of the foldable display device in a flat state according to a second embodiment of the present invention. The foldable display device in the second embodiment is similar to the foldable display device in the first embodiment, and the difference is that the foldable display device 12 in the second embodiment further includes a buffer member 120, and the housing 121 in the second embodiment further includes a positioning member 1210. Specifically, as follows:
[0063] To position the flexible circuit board 122 at the mid-segment position, the housing 121 further includes an inner housing surface 1211 and a positioning member 1210, and the inner housing surface 1211 is opposite to the housing surface 1212. The positioning member 1210 may be fixedly attached at the inner housing surface 1211 and disposed in the mounting cavity 1213. The positioning member 1210 may further be a structure protruding from the inner housing surface 1211 of the housing 121. A shaft seat 123 is disposed above the positioning member 1210 in the mounting cavity 1213. The receiving groove 1231 is formed in a part of the shaft seat 123 above the positioning member 1210. The cross beam 1232 is disposed above the positioning member 1210 and separated from the positioning member 1210, and is configured to allow the flexible circuit board 122 and the flexible heat sink 124 to pass through. The positioning member 1210 and the cross beam 1232 clamp the flexible circuit board 122 and the flexible heat sink 124 together, so that the flexible circuit board 122 and the flexible heat sink 124 are clamped between the positioning member 1210 and the cross beam 1232. In this case, the positioning member 1210 and the cross beam 1232 can jointly position the intermediate segment positions of the flexible circuit board 122 and the flexible heat sink 124, so that the flexible circuit board 122 and the flexible heat sink 124 can be divided into two segments having similar lengths in the length direction. Therefore, when the flexible circuit board 122 and the flexible heat sink 124 are folded or unfolded, the displacement and bending deformation generated by the foldable display device 12 are similar and smaller, and the displacement and bending amount can be more easily controlled.
[0064] In order to avoid damage to the flexible circuit board 122 by the positioning member 1210, the buffer member 120 is further disposed between the positioning member 1210 and the cross beam 1232. The buffer member 120 is disposed in the positioning member 1210 and spaced apart from the cross beam 1232. The buffer member 120 can be fixed to the positioning member 1210. The buffer member 120 is made of an elastic material, such as rubber or foam. The buffer member 120 can avoid damage to the flexible circuit board 122 by the positioning member 1210 through elastic deformation. In addition, the buffer member 120 can slightly change the connection position between the flexible circuit board 122 and the cross beam 1232, avoiding the risk of breakage caused by the stretched flexible circuit board 122.
[0065] In this application, the positioning member 1210 can clamp the flexible circuit board 122 and the flexible heat sink 124 between the positioning member 1210 and the cross beam 1232. As a result, the positioning member 1210 and the cross beam 1232 jointly form a positioning point at the middle segment of the flexible circuit board 122 and position the flexible circuit board 122 at the middle segment position. And the flexible circuit board 122 can be divided into two segments having similar lengths on two sides of the positioning member 1210 in the length direction. And thus, when the flexible circuit board 122 is folded, the displacement and bending deformation generated by the foldable display device are similar and smaller, and the displacement and bending amount can be more easily controlled. And the damage to the flexible circuit board 122 by the positioning member 1210 can be avoided through the elastic deformation of the buffer member 120. In addition, the connection position between the flexible circuit board 122 and the cross beam 1232 can be slightly changed by using the cushioning member 120, avoiding the risk of breakage due to the stretched flexible circuit board 122.
[0066] Finally, it should be noted that the above embodiments are merely used to describe the technical solutions of the present application, and are not intended to constitute any limitations. Although the present application has been described in detail with reference to the above exemplary embodiments, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that modifications or equivalent substitutions can be made to the technical solutions of the present application without departing from the spirit and scope of the technical solutions of the present application.
