Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a permanent joint for use in a vibration generating device. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, there are known vibration generators that vibrate a specimen, which is a test object in a vibration test. For example, the vibration generators described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 are used for both a vibration test in which a specimen is reciprocated in a substantially vertical direction and a vibration test in which a specimen is reciprocated in a substantially horizontal direction.

[0003] In such vibration generators, a vibration unit that vibrates a vibration table is provided so as to be rotatable around an axis perpendicular to the vibration direction. Moreover, these vibration generators are equipped with a horizontal vibration table that is freely movable horizontally. The horizontal vibration table vibrates in a substantially horizontal direction by being connected to the vibration unit, which is rotated to orient the vibration direction in a substantially horizontal direction, via a joint dedicated to connecting the horizontal vibration table. Moreover, in such vibration generators, a specimen for a vibration test in a substantially vertical direction is attached to the vibration unit via a dedicated jig.

[0004] When switching the vibration direction using the vibration generator described above, manual work is required not only for connecting / disconnecting the vibration unit and the horizontal vibration table, but also for attaching / detaching / replacing jigs and special joints to the vibration unit. [0005] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 4223372 [Patent Document 2] Patent No. 4171594 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] It is cumbersome if there is a lot of manual work involved in switching the vibration direction of the vibration generator. Furthermore, the larger the vibration test device, the larger and heavier the jigs and joints become, making the work more difficult. In addition, with an eye toward automation, it is preferable to reduce the number of tasks that rely on manual work.

[0007] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above, and has an object to provide a permanent joint that makes it possible to reduce the manual work required to switch the vibration direction of a vibration generating device. [Means for solving the problem]

[0008] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems and achieve the object, a permanent joint of the present invention is used in a vibration generating device, the vibration generating device comprising: a vibration unit that vibrates a first vibration table which is the permanent joint; a support unit that supports the vibration unit so that it can rotate around an axis perpendicular to the vibration direction of the first vibration table; a switching unit that selectively switches the orientation in response to the rotation of the vibration unit between an orientation in which the vibration direction of the first vibration table is approximately vertical and an orientation in which the vibration direction of the first vibration table is approximately horizontal; and a second vibration table which is an upward-facing table and is provided so as to be movable approximately horizontally relative to a base unit that supports the table, and the permanent joint has a planar portion to which a jig for fixing a test specimen to be vibrated in the approximately vertical direction can be attached and detached, and a groove portion provided on the planar portion into which the edge of the second vibration table fits when the vibration direction is switched to the approximately horizontal direction by the switching unit. Effect of the Invention

[0009] The vibration generator according to the present invention has an advantage that the manual work required to switch the vibration direction can be reduced. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0011] Hereinafter, an embodiment of a vibration generator according to the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Note that the present invention is not limited to the embodiment. The following embodiment also includes embodiments that are replaceable and easily conceivable by a person skilled in the art, or substantially the same.

[0012] First, the overall configuration of an electrodynamic vibration generator 1 according to an embodiment will be described. FIG. 1 is a schematic right side view of the vibration generator 1 according to an embodiment. FIG. 2 is a schematic plan view of the vibration generator 1. For convenience of the following description, an orthogonal coordinate system consisting of an X-axis, a Y-axis, and a Z-axis is attached to each figure. In the figures, the direction indicated by the arrow is the positive direction, and the opposite direction is the negative direction. The X-axis direction is the width direction of the vibration generator 1. The Y-axis direction is the depth direction of the vibration generator 1. The Z-axis direction is the height direction of the vibration generator 1.

[0013] The vibration generator 1 includes a vibration unit 111, a support unit 112, a shaft 113, connecting units 114 and 115 (see FIGS. 2 and 4), an air spring 116, a switching unit 120, a permanent joint 150, a surface plate 190, a horizontal vibration table 310, and a surface plate 390. The surface plate 190 and the surface plate 390 are examples of a pedestal unit. In this embodiment, the surface plate 190 and the surface plate 390 are separate bodies, but may be configured as an integrated unit in practice.

[0014] The permanent joint 150 is an example of a first vibration table. The vibration unit 111 vibrates the permanent joint 150 in a substantially constant direction. The vibration unit 111 generates vibration in a well-known manner using a coil or the like, and therefore a detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0015] The permanent joint 150 in this embodiment is a separate member from the vibration unit 111 and is detachable (replaceable) from the vibration unit 111; however, in practice, the first vibration table may be provided integrally with the vibration unit 111.

[0016] In a vibration test (vertical vibration test) in which a specimen is reciprocated in a substantially vertical direction, a jig 200 is attached to the permanent joint 150. A usage form suitable for this vertical vibration test (shown in Figs. 1 and 2) is referred to as a first usage form.

[0017] Furthermore, in a vibration test in which the test specimen is reciprocated in a substantially horizontal direction (horizontal vibration test), the vibration unit 111 is tilted about 90° from the first usage state, and the permanent joint 150 is connected to the horizontal vibration table 310. The usage state suitable for this horizontal vibration test is referred to as the second usage state. Fig. 3 is a schematic right side view of the vibration generator 1 in the second usage state. Fig. 4 is a schematic plan view of the vibration generator 1 in the second usage state.

[0018] The horizontal vibration table 310 is an example of a second vibration table. The horizontal vibration table 310 is a table having an upwardly facing flat surface 311, and is provided so as to be movable in a substantially horizontal direction relative to a base plate 390 that supports the table. An edge portion 312 of the horizontal vibration table 310 on the side closer to the vibration unit 111 protrudes from the portion having the flat surface 311, and has a plate-like shape with a predetermined thickness.

[0019] For ease of explanation, a second orthogonal coordinate system consisting of an X'-axis, a Y'-axis, and a Z'-axis is further added to Figs. 1 to 4. In the drawings, the direction indicated by the arrow is the positive direction, and the opposite direction is the negative direction. The X'-axis direction is the width direction of the excitation unit 111 and the permanent joint 150. The Y'-axis direction is the depth direction of the excitation unit 111 and the permanent joint 150. The Z'-axis direction is the height direction of the excitation unit 111 and the permanent joint 150. During a vertical vibration test, the second orthogonal coordinate system X'Y'Z coincides with the orthogonal coordinate system XYZ. During a horizontal vibration test, the second orthogonal coordinate system X'Y'Z is rotated about 90° around the X-axis from the orthogonal coordinate system XYZ (see Figs. 3 and 4).

[0020] The support unit 112 is a pair of side plates that stand on the base 190 and are provided approximately parallel to the YZ plane. The shaft 113 is provided approximately parallel to the X-axis and the X'-axis. The support unit 112 supports the vibration unit 111 to be rotatable around the shaft 113.

[0021] The connecting portions 114, 115 and the air spring 116 connect the vibration unit 111 and the support unit 112 so as to allow relative elastic movement along a substantially constant direction substantially perpendicular to the axis 113. The structure for this connection will now be described.

[0022] The shaft 113 is attached to the connecting portion 114. The shaft 113 is rotatably supported by the support portion 112. This allows the connecting portion 114 to rotate freely with respect to the support portion 112.

[0023] The connecting portion 115 is fixed to the vibration unit 111. The connecting portion 114 and the connecting portion 115 are connected so as to be relatively movable in a substantially fixed direction substantially perpendicular to the axis 113. The moving direction is aligned with the vibration direction of the permanent joint 150 caused by the vibration unit 111. Furthermore, an air spring 116 is interposed between the connecting portion 114 and the connecting portion 115. This allows the relative movement between the connecting portion 114 and the connecting portion 115 to be elastic.

[0024] In this way, the vibration unit 111 and the support unit 112 are connected via the connecting units 114, 115 and the air spring 116, so that the vibration unit 111 can move elastically relative to the support unit 112 in a fixed direction substantially perpendicular to the axis 113. The air spring 116 prevents the vibration of the vibration unit 111 from being transmitted to the base plate 190 and below.

[0025] In addition, since the action of air spring 116 is unnecessary when the vibration direction of vibration unit 111 is switched to a substantially horizontal direction (second usage mode), air spring 116 is fixed in a predetermined position in the second usage mode.

[0026] The switching unit 120 selectively switches the direction according to the rotation of the vibration unit 111 between a direction in which the vibration direction of the permanent joint 150 is substantially vertical and a direction in which the vibration direction is substantially horizontal. The structure for this switching will be described next.

[0027] The switching unit 120 includes gears 121 and 122, a chain 123, a handle 126, and the like. The rotation axis of the gear 121 coincides with the shaft 113, and when the gear 121 rotates, the shaft 113 rotates, and the vibration unit 111 rotates. The chain 123 transmits power from the gear 122 to the gear 121. The rotation of a rotation shaft 125 is transmitted to a rotation shaft 124 of the gear 122 by a gear (not shown) that the switching unit 120 further includes. A handle 126 is connected to the rotation shaft 125. An operator can rotate the shaft 113 by gripping the handle 126 and turning the rotation shaft 125.

[0028] Now, Fig. 5A is a schematic plan view of permanent joint 150. Fig. 5B is a schematic front view of permanent joint 150. Fig. 5C is a schematic right side view of permanent joint 150. Fig. 5D is a schematic longitudinal sectional left side view of permanent joint 150. Permanent joint 150 has a cylindrical exterior that is less likely to cause stress concentration during vibration. Vibration unit 111 vibrates permanent joint 150 in a direction that coincides with the axial direction of the cylindrical exterior of permanent joint 150.

[0029] The permanent joint 150 has a flat portion 151 to which the jig 200 can be attached and detached, a groove portion 152 provided in the center of the flat portion 151, a number of screw holes 153 formed in the flat portion 151, a number of screw holes 154 provided in parallel in the groove portion 152, and a cylindrical side portion 155. The axial direction of the screw holes 153 is approximately perpendicular to the flat portion 151. The axial direction of the screw holes 154 is oblique to the flat portion 151.

[0030] The jig 200 is used to fix a specimen to be vibrated in a substantially vertical direction, and its size and shape are designed and created according to the specimen. The jig 200 is fixed to the flat portion 151 by bolts corresponding to the screw holes 153.

[0031] The groove 152 is fitted with an edge 312 of the horizontal vibration table 310 on the side closer to the vibration unit 111 when the vibration direction is switched to the substantially horizontal direction by the switching unit 120. The thickness of the edge 312 is substantially the same as the width of the groove 152. The edge 312 is provided with a plurality of countersunk holes 313 arranged in parallel, into which bolts are inserted obliquely. The edge 312 inserted into the groove 152 is fixed by a bolt corresponding to the screw hole 154. The bolt is inserted obliquely downward from above the flat surface 311, and from the inside to the outside of the edge 312. This ensures good workability when attaching and detaching the bolts.

[0032] When a vertical vibration test is performed in the vibration generator 1 configured as described above, it is operated in the first usage mode shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2. That is, the vibration unit 111 is operated in a state where it is installed so that the vibration direction of the permanent joint 150 and the jig 200 caused by the vibration unit 111 itself is along the substantially vertical direction.

[0033] Next, when a horizontal vibration test is performed on the vibration generator 1, it is operated in the second usage mode in which the vibration direction is directed substantially horizontally as shown in Figures 3 and 4. When changing from the first usage mode to the second usage mode, the jig 200 is removed from the permanent joint 150, the vibration direction of the vibration unit 111 is changed by the switching unit 120 (the vibration unit 111 is tilted by approximately 90°), and the permanent joint 150 and the horizontal vibration table 310 are bolted together.

[0034] When returning from the second usage form to the first usage form, the above steps are performed in reverse, that is, the bolts fastening the horizontal vibration table 310 and the permanent joint 150 are removed, the vibration direction of the vibration unit 111 is changed by the switching unit 120 (the vibration unit 111 is raised by about 90°), and an appropriate jig 200 is attached to the permanent joint 150.

[0035] Thus, according to this embodiment, instead of a conventional joint dedicated to connecting the horizontal vibration table, the permanent joint 150 is used, and both the jig 200 and the horizontal vibration table 310 can be connected by the permanent joint 150. This eliminates the need for a process of attaching and detaching the permanent joint 150 when switching the vibration direction. This makes it possible to reduce the number of processes that require manual labor, i.e., to facilitate automation.

[0036] In conventional vibration generators, a dedicated joint is used to connect the horizontal vibrating table 310 and the vibration generating unit 111. This joint is not cylindrical like the permanent joint 150 of the above embodiment, but is, for example, mountain-shaped, so that the jig 200 cannot be attached to it and it is removed when the jig 200 is used. In contrast, in the vibration generator 1 of this embodiment, the permanent joint 150 that connects the horizontal vibrating table 310 to the vibration generating unit 111 is cylindrical with a flat portion 151 to which the jig 200 can be attached, so the process of attaching and detaching the permanent joint 150 can be eliminated.

[0037] In addition, in this embodiment, the permanent joint 150 is configured to be freely attached and detached to the vibration unit 111, but since no attachment and detachment process is required to switch the vibration direction as described above, it may be formed integrally with the vibration unit 111 in practice.

[0038] (Modification) FIG. 6 is a schematic longitudinal left side view of a permanent joint 150A, which is a modification of the permanent joint 150 shown in FIG. 5D. The permanent joint 150A according to this modification is different from the permanent joint 150 in the above embodiment in that the screw hole 154 is provided substantially perpendicular to the flat surface portion 151. The permanent joint 150 and the horizontal vibration table 310 may be connected by fastening the screw hole 154 to the bolt. In the case of the screw hole 154 oriented in this way, the countersunk hole 313 provided in the edge portion 312 of the horizontal vibration table 310 is also formed in a shape different from that of the above embodiment. In detail, the countersunk hole 313 is formed to such an extent that the head of the bolt screwed into the screw hole 154 can be operated in a state where the longitudinal direction of the bolt is oriented substantially parallel to the flat surface portion 311.
