[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2010-174549 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] The conventional retrofit sashes mentioned above have the problem that they cannot be used in buildings in fire prevention areas because they do not take fire prevention into consideration. For this reason, it is possible to use fire prevention sashes with fire prevention performance for new frames and shoji screens. However, new window frames for renovation are not directly attached to the building frame, but are prefabricated in a factory and transported to the construction site, so the strength of the window frames must be particularly high. This is effective not only for renovation but also for new construction. For this reason, there is a demand for a fire resistant sash that can improve the strength of the window frame and has fire resistance as a fire resistant sash that can be used for renovation and new construction.
[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide a fire resistant sash which can improve the strength of a window frame and has fire resistance. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The present invention is a fireproof sash comprising a window frame and a shoji screen, wherein the window frame is formed by framing vertical and horizontal frames, the shoji screen is composed of an outer shoji screen and an inner shoji screen which move along a pair of guide frames composed of vertical or horizontal frames, at least one of the guide frames has a hollow portion continuing in the longitudinal direction, and a plurality of holes communicating with the hollow portions are formed along the longitudinal direction on the surface facing the shoji screen, and at least one of the two holes located on either side of the joining position of the outer shoji screen and the inner shoji screen is sealed with a flame-retardant sealing material. Effect of the Invention
[0007] According to the fire resistant sash of the present invention, it is possible to provide a fire resistant sash which can improve the strength of a window frame and has fire resistance. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0009] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the remodeled sash 1 of this embodiment is a new frame 20 installed in the opening of an existing frame 10 of an existing sash attached to an opening in an exterior wall 3 covering a building frame 2 of an apartment or the like. The existing frame 10 is the frame 2 of an existing sash that was attached to the building frame 2 via an anchor 4, and the existing shoji screen is removed and left on the building frame 2. The remodeled sash 1 of this embodiment is a sliding window in which an outer shoji screen 5 and an inner shoji screen 6 are arranged so as to be able to slide in a new frame 20, and is configured as a new sash. A screen door 7 is also arranged on the outside of the outer shoji screen 5. The fireproof sash of the present invention is configured by a new frame 20, which is a window frame, and a new sash equipped with an outer shoji screen 5 and an inner shoji screen 6, which are shoji screens. In the following explanation, the left-right direction of the remodeled sash 1 is the X-axis direction, the front direction of the remodeled sash 1 is the Y-axis direction, and the up-down direction of the remodeled sash 1 is the Z-axis direction. The X-, Y-, and Z-axis directions are perpendicular to each other. In addition, when looking at the remodeled sash 1 from inside the room, the vertical frame located on the left side is the left vertical frame, and the vertical frame located on the right side is the right vertical frame.
[0010] The existing frame 10 is configured by framing an existing upper frame 11, an existing lower frame 12, an existing left vertical frame 13, and an existing right vertical frame 14. In this embodiment, the existing upper frame 11, the existing lower frame 12, the existing left vertical frame 13, and the existing right vertical frame 14 are window frames for sliding windows, and are each fixed to an anchor 4 for a sash. The new frame 20 is composed of a new upper frame 21, a new lower frame 22, a new left vertical frame 23, and a new right vertical frame 24. The new upper frame 21 and the new lower frame 22 are formed with rails that guide the outer screen 5 and the inner screen 6 in the X-axis direction. Therefore, in this embodiment, the new upper frame 21 and the new lower frame 22 form a pair of guide frames.
[0011] As described below, the new frame 20 is attached to the existing frame 10 via attachments 31 to 34 and cover materials 41, 43, 44. The structures of the new frame 20 and the existing frame 10, and the mounting structure of the new frame 20 will be described below.
[0012] [New upper frame] 3 and 4, the new upper frame 21 has an aluminum upper frame body 210 and a resin upper frame angle material 211 fixed to the upper frame body 210 with screws 255. A window frame 81 is screwed to the upper frame angle material 211. There are no particular limitations on the material of the window frame 81, and window frames 81 made of aluminum, resin, wood, etc. can be used. The upper frame main body 210 comprises a lower surface portion 212 which is formed along the forward direction (Y-axis direction) and is the surface facing the outer screen 5 and the inner screen 6, an upper surface portion 213 which is provided above the lower surface portion 212, connecting piece portions 2141, 2142, 2143 which connect the lower surface portion 212 and the upper surface portion 213, an exterior piece portion 215 which extends upward from the exterior end of the lower surface portion 212, a screen rail 216 which extends downward from the exterior end of the lower surface portion 212, an outer rail 217 which extends downward from the lower surface portion 212 to guide the outer screen 5, and an inner rail 218 which extends downward from the lower surface portion 212 to guide the inner screen 6. Upper frame main body 210 has a first hollow portion 214A surrounded by lower surface portion 212, upper surface portion 213, and connecting pieces 2141 and 2142, and a second hollow portion 214B surrounded by lower surface portion 212, upper surface portion 213, and connecting pieces 2142 and 2143. In the underside portion 212 between the outer rail 217 and the inner rail 218, a first underside portion 212A is formed by the portion that defines the first hollow portion 214A, and a second underside portion 212B is formed by the portion of the first underside portion 212A that is on the outdoor side, does not face the first hollow portion 214A, and is open upward. 5, holes 219 are formed in multiple locations, specifically six locations, in the longitudinal direction (X-axis direction) of the upper frame main body 210 on the first lower surface portion 212A. The holes 219 are provided for inserting screws 251 that fix the new upper frame 21, as shown in FIGS. Of the six holes 219, two at both the left and right ends, a total of four holes 219, are fitted with resin caps 265 to close the holes 219.
[0013] On the other hand, the two central holes 219 are blocked by blocking material 26, as shown in Fig. 6. Fig. 6 is a view of the joint position of the new upper frame 21 as seen from below, and the two central holes 219 are arranged apart in the left-right direction (X-axis direction) with the joint position in between. The joint position is the position where the joint frame is arranged when the outer sash 5 and the inner sash 6 are closed, that is, the center position in the X-axis direction of the new upper frame 21. A wind stop plate 80 is attached between the outer rail 217 and the inner rail 218 at this joint position, and holes 219 are formed at the left and right positions with the wind stop plate 80 in between, and blocking material 26 is arranged at the left and right positions with the wind stop plate 80 in between so as to block each hole 219. In addition, a heated foaming material 713 is affixed to the underside 212 of the newly installed upper frame 21 between the windstop board 80 and the blocking material 26 arranged on the outer screen 5 side of the windstop board 80, i.e., the newly installed left vertical frame 23 side. The blocking material 26 is a plate-shaped member formed from a flame-retardant material, such as metal or flame-retardant resin, and, as shown in Figures 4 and 6, is provided with a blocking portion 261 that is arranged in contact with the first lower surface portion 212A and blocks the hole 219, and a fixing portion 262 that is arranged in contact with the second lower surface portion 212B and fixed to the second lower surface portion 212B with a screw 263.
[0014] As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the new upper frame 21 is fixed to the existing upper frame 11 via an attachment 31 and an upper cover material 41. The existing upper frame 11 is composed of an outer rail 111, an inner rail 112, an outer piece 113, and an indoor piece 114. The attachment 31 is fixed to the outer rail 111 with screws 311. A number of different types of attachments 31 are prepared with different shapes depending on the type of existing upper frame 11, and one is selected from these. The attachments 31 are short piece materials, and a number of attachments are provided at intervals along the longitudinal direction of the existing upper frame 11. For example, the attachments 31 are attached to both left and right ends of the existing upper frame 11, at the central position, and at four to six locations between them.
[0015] [Top cover material] The upper cover material 41 is made of an aluminum extruded material, and is a long member in the left-right direction (X-axis direction) along the existing upper frame 11 and the new upper frame 21. In this embodiment, the left-right (longitudinal) dimension of the upper cover material 41 is set to be larger than that of the new upper frame 21 and smaller than that of the existing upper frame 11. The upper cover material 41 is configured to include a projection piece 411, an indoor contact piece 412, and an outdoor contact piece 413. The projection piece 411 is a generally flat plate-shaped portion that extends in the projection direction (Y-axis direction) of the remodeled sash 1 and further has an outdoor end portion that extends slightly upward (toward the outer periphery). The indoor abutment piece 412 extends from the outdoor and outer peripheral ends of the projection piece 411 towards the existing upper frame 11, i.e. upward. A pair of ridges spaced apart vertically are formed on the outdoor side of the indoor abutment piece 412, and a watertight material 416 is disposed in the groove between the ridges. The ridges of the indoor abutment piece 412 abut against the indoor surface of the outdoor piece 113, thereby positioning the upper cover material 41 in the projection direction (Y-axis direction). The watertight material 416 is in close contact with the outdoor piece 113, ensuring watertightness between the outdoor piece 113 and the indoor abutment piece 412. The outdoor abutment piece 413 comprises an outdoor extension portion 4131 extending to the outdoor side from the outdoor side and outer circumferential end portion of the projection piece 411, i.e., the base end portion of the indoor abutment piece 412, an outdoor visible surface portion 4132 extending from the outdoor extension portion 4131 toward the newly installed upper frame 21, i.e., downward, and an outdoor abutment portion 4133 extending from the outdoor visible surface portion 4132 to the indoor side and abutting the outdoor surface of the newly installed upper frame 21, i.e., the outdoor piece portion 215. The indoor end of the outdoor contact portion 4133 is a retaining portion with a U-shaped cross section, and this retaining portion holds the watertight material 417. The outdoor piece portion 215 abuts against the outdoor contact portion 4133, so that the newly installed upper frame 21 is positioned in the projection direction. The watertight material 417 is in close contact with the outdoor piece portion 215, so that watertightness between the upper cover material 41 and the newly installed upper frame 21 is ensured. The upper cover material 41 is disposed so as to cover the upper end surfaces of the vertical cover materials 43, 44 described later. For this reason, in order to prevent both ends of the exterior abutment portion 4133 from interfering with the vertical cover materials 43, 44, the length in the X-axis direction of the exterior abutment portion 4133 is made shorter than the exterior extension portion 4131 and the exterior appearance surface portion 4132, and an area where the exterior abutment portion 4133 is not formed, i.e., a space where the vertical cover materials 43, 44 are disposed, is secured at both left and right ends of the exterior appearance surface portion 4132.
[0016] The upper cover material 41 is provided with heated foaming materials 711, 712 that foam in the event of a fire to seal the gap between the upper cover material 41 and the newly installed upper frame 21. The heated foaming material 711 is disposed along the longitudinal direction of the upper cover material 41, and is attached with an adhesive or the like to the indoor surface of the outdoor-facing surface portion 4132. The heated foaming material 711 is disposed in a portion of the upper cover material 41 excluding both the left and right ends, that is, in the range where the outdoor contact portion 4133 is provided, so as not to interfere with the vertical cover materials 43, 44. The heated foaming material 712 is disposed at both left and right ends of the upper cover material 41, i.e., in the areas where the heated foaming material 711 is not disposed, and is affixed to the lower surface of the exterior extension portion 4131. The upper ends of the vertical cover materials 43, 44 are positioned at approximately the same height as the upper end of the exterior piece portion 215, and do not interfere with the heated foaming material 712 affixed to the lower surface of the exterior extension portion 4131. Therefore, the heated foaming material 712 is provided to close both left and right ends of the upper cover material 41 where the heated foaming material 711 is not provided. As described above, this upper cover material 41 is attached to the attachment 31 by a screw 451 that is screwed into the attachment 31 from the projection portion 411.
[0017] The new upper frame 21 is disposed on the upper cover material 41 with a spacer 61 sandwiched therebetween, and is fixed to the upper cover material 41 with a screw 251. The spacer 61 is a short piece material, and a plurality of spacers 61 are disposed at intervals in the longitudinal direction (X-axis direction) of the new upper frame 21. The screw 251 for fixing the new upper frame 21 to the upper cover material 41 is disposed at a position different from the spacer 61 and the attachment 31 in the X-axis direction, and is screwed from the upper surface portion 213 of the new upper frame 21 to the projection portion 411 of the upper cover material 41. In this embodiment, the new upper frame 21 is fixed to the upper cover material 41 with a total of six screws 251 provided at the positions of the holes 219. The screw 251 and the spacer 61 may be disposed at the same position in the X-axis direction.
[0018] [Upper flame retardant bracket] A clearance of a predetermined dimension is provided between the existing upper frame 11 and the new upper frame 21. This clearance is necessary for installing the new frame 20 within the existing frame 10. This clearance is blocked by an upper fire-blocking metal fitting 51. That is, a metal upper fire-proof fitting 51 is fixed to the indoor end of the upper surface 213 of the new upper frame 21. The metal upper fire-proof fitting 51 has an L-shaped cross section and is elongated along the longitudinal direction (X-axis direction) of the existing upper frame 11 and the new upper frame 21. In this embodiment, the longitudinal dimension (X-axis direction) of the upper fire-proof fitting 51 is set to be larger than the outer dimension of the new upper frame 21. The upper fire-proof fitting 51 has a sighting surface portion 511 that abuts against the indoor surface, i.e., the indoor side sighting surface, of the indoor piece 114 of the existing upper frame 11, and a sighting surface portion 512 that is fixed to the new upper frame 21. The sighting surface portion 512 of the upper fire-proof fitting 51 is fixed to the upper surface portion 213 with screws 513. On the other hand, the sighting surface portion 511 is not fixed to the indoor piece 114 with screws, and abuts against the indoor side sighting surface of the existing upper frame 11 so as to be slidable and to be able to close the clearance.
[0019] [New lower frame] 1, the new sill 22 has an aluminum sill body 220 and a resin sill angle member 221 screwed to the sill body 220. A window frame 82 made of aluminum, resin, wood, or the like is screwed to the sill angle member 221. The lower frame body 220 is equipped with an outer rail, an inner rail, and a screen rail which guide the outer screen 5, the inner screen 6, and the screen 7. A metal reinforcing material 29 is disposed in the hollow portion of the lower frame body 220, and a heat-foaming material 721 is affixed to the reinforcing material 29. A heat-foaming material 722 is affixed to the upper surface of the lower frame body 220 between the outer rail and the inner rail at the joint position, etc.
[0020] The new lower frame 22 is fixed to the existing lower frame 12 via an attachment 32. The existing lower frame 12 is configured with an outer rail, an inner rail, an outer piece, and an indoor piece, and is fixed to the anchor 4. The attachment 32 is fixed to the outer rail and the indoor piece of the existing lower frame 12 with a screw 321. The new sill 22 is fixed to the attachments 32 between the inner and outer rails and at the indoor end by screws 252.
[0021] [New left vertical frame] As shown in Fig. 7, the newly installed left vertical frame 23 has an aluminum left vertical frame main body 230, and a resin vertical frame angle material 231 fixed to the left vertical frame main body 230 with screws 256. As shown in Fig. 2, a window frame 83 made of aluminum, resin, wood, or the like is screwed to the vertical frame angle material 231. The left vertical frame main body 230 comprises an inner surface portion 232 formed along the forward direction (Y-axis direction), an outer surface portion 233 provided on the outer periphery of the inner surface portion 232, i.e., on the side of the existing left vertical frame 13, connecting piece portions 2341, 2342 connecting the inner surface portion 232 and the outer surface portion 233, an outer piece portion 235 extending outward from the outer side end of the inner surface portion 232, a screen guide piece 236 extending inward from the outer side end of the inner surface portion 232, and a pulling piece 237 extending inward from the inner surface portion 232 and abutting when the outer screen 5 is closed. The left vertical frame body 230 has a hollow portion 234A surrounded by an inner surface portion 232, an outer surface portion 233, and connecting pieces 2341 and 2342. The connecting piece portion 2341 is provided at a substantially central position in the projection direction of the inner surface portion 232, and the hollow portion 234A is provided on the indoor side of the outer sash 5 in the projection direction. A plurality of holes 239 are formed in the vertical direction in the portion of the inner surface portion 232 facing the hollow portion 234A. The holes 239 are provided for inserting screws 253 for fixing the newly installed left vertical frame 23.
[0022] The vertical frame angle member 231 is provided at a position on the inner surface 232 that covers the interior side of the room relative to the outer screen 5, and covers the surface of the left vertical frame main body 230 that is exposed to the room when the outer screen 5 is closed. Therefore, the portion of the inner surface 232 that faces the hollow portion 234A is also covered by the vertical frame angle member 231, and therefore the hole 239 is also covered by the vertical frame angle member 231. For this reason, no cap is attached to cover the hole 239.
[0023] As shown in FIG. 7, the new left vertical frame 23 is fixed to the existing left vertical frame 13 via an attachment 33 and a vertical cover material 43. The existing left vertical frame 13 is composed of a pulling piece 131, an exterior piece 133, and an interior piece 134. The attachment 33 is selected from a number of different types of attachments available in accordance with the type of existing left vertical frame 13. The attachment 33 of this embodiment is a metal material with a roughly U-shaped cross section, and is disposed over almost the entire length of the existing left vertical frame 13 in the up-down direction (Z-axis direction). The attachment 33 is fixed to the projection piece between the pulling piece 131 and the exterior piece 133 of the existing left vertical frame 13 with a number of screws 331. Incidentally, an existing gutter-type frame having only the exterior piece 133 and the interior piece 134 and no pull-in piece can be used as the existing left vertical frame 13. Also, the attachment 33 may be fixed so that the part fixed by the screw 331 is located on the interior side by reversing the indoor / outdoor arrangement.
[0024] The vertical cover material 43 is constituted by an aluminum extruded material, and is a long member extending in the up-down direction (Z-axis direction) along the existing left vertical frame 13. The vertical cover material 43 is configured to include a projection piece 431, an indoor contact piece 432, and an outdoor contact piece 433. The projection piece 431 is a part that extends in the projection direction (Y-axis direction) of the remodeled sash 1 and has a substantially L-shaped plate-shaped cross section with its outdoor end portion further extended toward the outer periphery. The indoor abutment piece 432 extends from the outdoor and outer periphery ends of the projection piece 431 toward the existing left vertical frame 13, i.e., toward the outer periphery. The exterior abutment piece 433 comprises an exterior extension portion 4331 extending to the outside of the room from the exterior and outer circumferential ends of the projection piece 431, an exterior visible surface portion 4332 extending from the exterior extension portion 4331 toward the newly installed left vertical frame 23, i.e., the inner circumferential side, and an exterior abutment portion 4333 extending from the exterior visible surface portion 4332 toward the inside of the room and abutting the exterior surface of the newly installed left vertical frame 23, i.e., the exterior piece portion 235.
[0025] A protrusion is formed on the outdoor end of the indoor abutment piece 432, and a watertight material 436 is arranged in the groove between this protrusion and the outdoor abutment piece 433. The protrusion of the indoor abutment piece 432 abuts on the indoor surface of the outdoor piece 133, thereby positioning the vertical cover material 43 in the projection direction (Y-axis direction). In addition, the watertight material 436 is in close contact with the outdoor piece 133, ensuring watertightness between the outdoor piece 133 and the indoor abutment piece 432. The indoor end of the outdoor contact portion 4333 is a retaining portion with an L-shaped cross section, and this retaining portion holds a watertight material 437. The outdoor piece portion 235 abuts against the outdoor contact portion 4333, so that the newly installed left vertical frame 23 is positioned in the projection direction. The watertight material 437 is in close contact with the outdoor piece portion 235, so that watertightness between the vertical cover material 43 and the newly installed left vertical frame 23 is ensured.
[0026] The vertical cover material 43 is provided with a heated foaming material 731 that foams in the event of a fire and seals the gap between the vertical cover material 43 and the newly installed left vertical frame 23. The heat-foaming material 731 is disposed over the entire length of the vertical cover material 43 in the longitudinal direction (vertical direction), and is attached to the indoor surface of the outdoor facing surface portion 4332 with an adhesive or the like.
[0027] The vertical cover material 43 is attached to the attachment 33 with a screw 453 that is screwed into the attachment 33 from the projection piece 431. At this time, the vertical cover material 43 is positioned in the X-axis direction by the exterior piece 133 abutting against the exterior extension part 4331. For this reason, a gap is formed between the projection piece 431 and the attachment 33, and a spacer 631 is disposed in this gap. The newly installed left vertical frame 23 is positioned against the vertical cover material 43 with a spacer 632 sandwiched therebetween, and is fixed to the vertical cover material 43 with screws 253. The spacers 631, 632 are short pieces of material, and are arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction (Z-axis direction) of the newly installed left vertical frame 23. Furthermore, the screw 453 that fixes the vertical cover material 43 to the attachment 33 is disposed at a different position in the Z-axis direction from the spacer 631, and the screw 253 that fixes the newly installed left vertical frame 23 to the vertical cover material 43 is disposed at a different position in the Z-axis direction from the spacers 631 and 632. Furthermore, the attachment 33 is formed with a hole through which the screw 253 is inserted, and is configured so that the screw 253 screwed into the vertical cover material 43 does not interfere with the attachment 33. Note that, in the Z-axis direction, the screw 453 may be disposed at the same position as the spacer 631, and the screw 253 may be disposed at the same position as the spacer 631 or the spacer 632.
[0028] [Vertical fireproof bracket] A clearance is formed between the interior piece 134 of the existing left vertical frame 13 and the outer surface 233 of the new left vertical frame 23, and this clearance is blocked by a vertical fire-blocking bracket 53. That is, a metal vertical fire-retardant bracket 53 having an L-shaped cross section and extending along the longitudinal direction (Z-axis direction) of the existing left vertical frame 13 and the new left vertical frame 23 is fixed to the indoor end of the outer surface 233 of the new left vertical frame 23. The vertical fireproof metal fitting 53 has a visible surface portion 531 fixed with screws 533 to the indoor surface, i.e., the indoor side visible surface, of the indoor piece 134 of the existing left vertical frame 13, and a visible surface portion 532 fixed with screws 534 to the outer surface portion 233 of the newly installed left vertical frame 23. Heat-foaming material 75 is attached to the upper and lower ends of the visible surface portion 531.
[0029] [Vertical reinforcement] A vertical reinforcement member 27 is disposed within the hollow portion 234A of the newly installed left vertical frame 23. The vertical reinforcement member 27 is a long metal material that is continuous in the vertical direction and has a U-shaped cross section and includes a visible surface portion 271 disposed along the outer surface portion 233, an exterior visible surface portion 272 disposed along the connecting piece portion 2341, and an interior visible surface portion 273 disposed along the connecting piece portion 2342. The vertical reinforcement member 27 is fixed within the hollow portion 234A by a plurality of screws 274 which are screwed from the outer surface portion 233 into the inner surface portion 271. In the visible surface portion 271 , a hole is formed in the portion where the screw 253 is placed, and the head of the screw 253 is configured to contact the outer surface portion 233 . Heat-foaming materials 732, 733 are attached to the exterior-facing surface 272 and the inward-facing surface 271 of the vertical reinforcement material 27.
[0030] In addition, a guide block 91 that abuts against the pulling piece 237 is placed on the door frame of the outer shoji 5, and a heated foam material 771 is placed on the back side of the guide block 91.
[0031] [New right vertical frame] As shown in Fig. 8, the new right vertical frame 24 has an aluminum right vertical frame main body 240, and a resin vertical frame angle material 241 fixed to the right vertical frame main body 240 with screws 257. As shown in Fig. 2, a window frame 84 made of aluminum, resin, wood, or the like is screwed to the vertical frame angle material 241. The right vertical frame main body 240 comprises an inner surface portion 242 formed along the forward direction (Y-axis direction), an outer surface portion 243 provided on the outer periphery of the inner surface portion 242, i.e., on the side of the existing right vertical frame 14, connecting pieces 2441, 2442 connecting the inner surface portion 242 and the outer surface portion 243, an outer piece portion 245 extending outward from the outer side end of the inner surface portion 242, a screen guide piece 246 extending inward from the outer side end of the inner surface portion 242, and a pulling piece 247 extending inward from the inner surface portion 242 and abutting when the inner screen 6 is closed. The right vertical frame body 240 has a hollow portion 244A surrounded by an inner surface portion 242, an outer surface portion 243, and connecting pieces 2441 and 2442. The connecting piece 2441 is provided at approximately the center position of the inner surface portion 242 in the forward direction, and the hollow portion 244A is provided on the interior side of the outer screen 5 in the forward direction, straddling the interior side and exterior side of the inner screen 6. A plurality of holes 249 are formed in the vertical direction in the portion of the inner surface 242 facing the hollow portion 244A. The holes 249 are provided for inserting screws 254 that secure the newly installed right vertical frame 24. The holes 249 are closed with caps 266 made of resin. The vertical frame angle material 241 covers the interior exposed surface of the right vertical frame main body 240 that is exposed to the interior when the inner screen 6 is closed.
[0032] As shown in FIG. 8, the new right vertical frame 24 is fixed to the existing right vertical frame 14 via an attachment 34 and a vertical cover material 44. The existing right vertical frame 14 is composed of a pulling piece 141, an exterior piece 143, and an interior piece 144. The attachment 34 is selected from a number of different types of attachments available, each with a different shape depending on the type of existing right vertical frame 14. The attachment 34 in this embodiment is made of a metal material with a roughly U-shaped cross section, the same as the attachment 33, and is disposed over almost the entire length of the existing right vertical frame 14 in the vertical direction. The attachment 34 is fixed to the projection piece between the pulling piece 141 and the exterior piece 143 of the existing right vertical frame 14 with a number of screws 341. Incidentally, an existing gutter-type frame having only the exterior piece 143 and the interior piece 144 and no pull-in piece can be used as the existing right vertical frame 14. Also, the attachment 34 may be fixed so that the part fixed by the screw 341 is located on the interior side by reversing the indoor / outdoor arrangement.
[0033] The vertical cover material 44 is made by using the same part as the vertical cover material 43, but flipped left to right. It is made of an aluminum extruded profile and is a long member that extends in the vertical direction (Z-axis direction) along the existing right vertical frame 14. The vertical cover material 44 is configured to include a projection piece 441, an indoor contact piece 442, and an outdoor contact piece 443. The projection piece 441 is a part that extends in the projection direction (Y-axis direction) of the remodeled sash 1 and has an approximately L-shaped plate-shaped cross section with its outdoor end portion further extended toward the outer periphery. The indoor abutment piece 442 extends from the outdoor and outer periphery ends of the projection piece 441 toward the existing right vertical frame 14, i.e., toward the outer periphery. The exterior abutment piece 443 comprises an exterior extension portion 4431 extending to the outside of the room from the exterior and outer periphery ends of the projection piece 441, an exterior visible surface portion 4432 extending from the exterior extension portion 4431 toward the newly installed right vertical frame 24, i.e., the inner periphery side, and an exterior abutment portion 4433 extending from the exterior visible surface portion 4432 toward the inside of the room and abutting the exterior surface of the newly installed right vertical frame 24, i.e., the exterior piece portion 245.
[0034] A protrusion is formed on the outdoor end of the indoor abutment piece 442, and a watertight material 446 is arranged in the groove between this protrusion and the outdoor abutment piece 443. The protrusion of the indoor abutment piece 442 abuts on the indoor surface of the outdoor piece 143, thereby positioning the vertical cover material 44 in the projection direction (Y-axis direction). In addition, the watertight material 446 is in close contact with the outdoor piece 143, ensuring watertightness between the outdoor piece 143 and the indoor abutment piece 442. The indoor end of the outdoor contact portion 4433 is a retaining portion with an L-shaped cross section, and this retaining portion holds a watertight material 447. The outdoor piece portion 245 abuts against the outdoor contact portion 4433, so that the new right vertical frame 24 is positioned in the projection direction. The watertight material 447 is in close contact with the outdoor piece portion 245, so that watertightness between the vertical cover material 44 and the new right vertical frame 24 is ensured.
[0035] The vertical cover material 44 is provided with a heated foaming material 741 that foams in the event of a fire and seals the gap between the vertical cover material 44 and the newly installed right vertical frame 24. The heated foaming material 741 is disposed over the entire length of the vertical cover material 44 in the longitudinal direction (vertical direction), and is attached to the indoor surface of the outdoor facing surface portion 4432 with an adhesive or the like.
[0036] The vertical cover material 44 is attached to the attachment 34 with a screw 454 that is screwed into the attachment 34 from the projection piece 441. At this time, the vertical cover material 44 is positioned in the X-axis direction by the exterior piece 143 abutting against the exterior extension part 4431. For this reason, a gap is formed between the projection piece 441 and the attachment 34, and a spacer 641 is disposed in this gap. The newly installed right vertical frame 24 is positioned against the vertical cover material 44 with a spacer 642 sandwiched therebetween, and is fixed to the vertical cover material 44 with screws 254. The spacers 641, 642 are short pieces of material, and are arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction (Z-axis direction) of the newly installed right vertical frame 24. Furthermore, the screw 454 that fixes the vertical cover material 44 to the attachment 34 is disposed at a different position in the Z-axis direction from the spacer 641, and the screw 254 that fixes the new right vertical frame 24 to the vertical cover material 44 is disposed at a different position in the Z-axis direction from the spacers 641 and 642. Furthermore, the attachment 34 is formed with a hole through which the screw 254 is inserted, and is configured so that the screw 254 screwed into the vertical cover material 44 does not interfere with the attachment 34. Note that, in the Z-axis direction, the screw 454 may be disposed at the same position as the spacer 641, and the screw 254 may be disposed at the same position as the spacer 641 or the spacer 642.
[0037] [Vertical fireproof bracket] A clearance is formed between the interior piece 144 of the existing right vertical frame 14 and the outer surface 243 of the new right vertical frame 24, and this clearance is blocked by a vertical fire-proof bracket 54. That is, a metal vertical fire-retardant bracket 54 having an L-shaped cross section and extending along the longitudinal direction (Z-axis direction) of the existing right vertical frame 14 and the new right vertical frame 24 is fixed to the indoor end of the outer surface 243 of the new right vertical frame 24. The vertical fireproof metal fitting 54 is the same part as the vertical fireproof metal fitting 53, and has a visible surface portion 541 fixed with screws 543 to the indoor surface, i.e., the indoor side visible surface, of the indoor piece 144 of the existing right vertical frame 14, and a visible surface portion 542 fixed with screws 544 to the outer surface portion 243 of the new right vertical frame 24. Heat-foaming material 76 is affixed to the upper and lower ends of the visible surface portion 541.
[0038] [Vertical reinforcement] A vertical reinforcement member 28 is disposed within the hollow portion 244A of the newly installed right vertical frame 24. The vertical reinforcement member 28 is a long metal material that is continuous in the vertical direction and has a U-shaped cross section and includes a front surface portion 281 disposed along the outer surface portion 243, an exterior front surface portion 282 disposed in a position substantially along the front direction position of the pulling piece 247, and an interior front surface portion 283 disposed along the connecting piece portion 2442. The vertical reinforcement 28 is fixed in the hollow portion 244A by a plurality of screws 284 that are screwed from the outer surface portion 243 into the front surface portion 281. For this reason, the dimension of the vertical reinforcement 28 in the front direction is shorter than that of the vertical reinforcement 27, and the vertical reinforcement 28 is disposed in approximately half of the area on the indoor side in the front direction of the hollow portion 244A. Therefore, the inside of the hollow portion 244A is divided into an outdoor space and an indoor space by the outdoor facing surface 282. Therefore, the outdoor facing surface 282 functions as a partition wall that divides the inside of the hollow portion 244A. Note that in order to insert and arrange the vertical reinforcement member 28 inside the hollow portion 244A, a slight clearance is formed between the outdoor facing surface 282 and the inner surface 242, and the outdoor facing surface 282 does not completely divide the space inside the hollow portion 244A. However, since the width dimension of the clearance in the X-axis direction is very small, the outdoor facing surface 282 functions as a partition wall that can prevent the spread of fire. Hole 249 is an exterior hole located on the exterior side of exterior-facing surface 282, which is a partition wall, in hollow portion 244A. Also, a hole into which a screw 257 that fixes vertical frame angle material 241 to right vertical frame main body 240 is screwed is an interior hole located on the interior side of exterior-facing surface 282, which is a partition wall, in hollow portion 244A. A heat-foaming material 742 is attached to the exterior surface of the exterior-facing surface portion 282 of the vertical reinforcement material 28, and a heat-foaming material 743 is attached to the interior surface portion 281.
[0039] In addition, a guide block 92 that abuts against the pulling piece 247 is placed on the door frame of the inner shoji 6, and a heated foam material 772 is placed on the back side of the guide block 92.
[0040] [Renovation sash construction procedure] Next, the procedure for constructing the remodeled sash 1 will be described with reference to FIG. 9 which illustrates the procedure for constructing the upper cover material 41 and the newly installed upper frame 21. First, the existing screen is removed from the existing frame 10. Next, the attachments 31 to 34 are screwed to the existing frame 10. Next, as shown in Fig. 9(A), the upper cover material 41 is attached to the attachment 31. Similarly, although not shown, the vertical cover materials 43, 44 are attached to the attachments 33, 34. At this time, the indoor abutment pieces 412, 432, 442 are abutted against the indoor surfaces of the outdoor pieces 113, 133, 143, whereby the upper cover material 41 and the vertical cover materials 43, 44 are positioned in the projected direction and then fastened with screws.
[0041] Next, as shown in Fig. 9(B), the new frame 20, which has been prefabricated in a factory or the like, is installed in the opening of the existing frame 10 from the indoor side. Specifically, while placing the new lower frame 22 of the new frame 20 on the attachment 32, the new upper frame 21, the new left vertical frame 23, and the new right vertical frame 24 are abutted against the indoor surfaces of the outdoor abutment pieces 413, 433, and 443, thereby positioning the new upper frame 21, the new left vertical frame 23, and the new right vertical frame 24 in the prospective direction. At this time, clearances are ensured between the respective cover materials 41, 43, and 44 and the new upper frame 21, the new left vertical frame 23, and the new right vertical frame 24, so that the new frame 20 can be easily installed in the existing frame 10. Then, the spacers 61, 632, 642 are placed between the new upper frame 21, the new left vertical frame 23, and the new right vertical frame 24 and the upper cover material 41 and the vertical cover materials 43, 44. As described above, the new frame 20 is positioned in the projection direction, and the spacers 61, 632, 642 are used to further position the new frame 20 in the X-axis direction and the Z-axis direction, and then the new frame 20 is screwed in place.
[0042] 9(C), the upper fireproof metal fittings 51 and the vertical fireproof metal fittings 53, 54 are screwed to the new upper frame 21, the new left vertical frame 23, and the new right vertical frame 24. Furthermore, the prefabricated window frames 81-84 are screwed to the upper frame angle material 211, the lower frame angle material 221, and the vertical frame angle materials 231, 241. Finally, the outer screen 5, inner screen 6, and screen door 7 are hung inside the new frame 20. With the above steps, the construction of the renovated sash 1 is completed, with work only being done from the inside of the room.
[0043] Next, the fireproof structure of the retrofit sash 1 will be described. [Fireproof construction using cover material and flame-retardant metal fittings] A metal (aluminum) upper cover material 41 and vertical cover materials 43, 44 are arranged between the existing upper frame 11, existing left vertical frame 13, and existing right vertical frame 14 and the new upper frame 21, new left vertical frame 23, and new right vertical frame 24, and the indoor abutment pieces 412, 432, 442 of each cover material 41, 43, 44 abut against the indoor surfaces of the outdoor pieces 113, 133, 143, which are the visible pieces of the existing frame 10, and the outdoor abutment pieces 413, 433, 443 abut against the outdoor piece portions 215, 235, 245, which are the outdoor surfaces of the new frame 20. For this reason, the metal cover materials 41, 43, 44 abut against the existing frame 10 and the new frame 20, respectively, and overlap in the forward direction, preventing communication between the existing frame 10 and the cover materials 41, 43, 44, and between the cover materials 41, 43, 44 and the new frame 20 in the indoor / outdoor directions, and fireproofing performance is ensured by flames and smoke passing between them. Also, the new lower frame 22 is placed on and abuts against two surfaces at different heights of the stepped attachment 32, and the attachment 32 is also screwed at two points, the outer rail of the existing lower frame 12 and the indoor end, preventing communication between the new lower frame 22 and the attachment 32 and between the attachment 32 and the existing lower frame 12 in the indoor / outdoor directions, ensuring fireproofing performance even in the lower frame part. Furthermore, heated foaming materials 711, 712, 731, 741 are attached to the outdoor contact pieces 413, 433, 443 of the upper cover material 41 and the vertical cover materials 43, 44. As a result, in the event of a fire, the heated foaming materials 711, 712, 731, 741 foam, blocking the gaps between the upper cover material 41, the vertical cover materials 43, 44 and the newly installed upper frame 21, the newly installed left vertical frame 23, and the newly installed right vertical frame 24, further preventing flames and gases from flowing in through these gaps and ensuring fireproofing performance. In addition, the clearances on the interior side between the existing upper frame 11, existing left vertical frame 13, and existing right vertical frame 14 and the new upper frame 21, new left vertical frame 23, and new right vertical frame 24 are sealed with upper flame-retardant fittings 51 and vertical flame-retardant fittings 53, 54, thereby preventing flames and gas from flowing in through the clearances and ensuring fire resistance. Furthermore, the upper fire-retardant metal fittings 51 are horizontal members longer than the outer dimensions (dimensions in the X-axis direction) of the new frame 20, and as shown in Fig. 10, both ends of the upper fire-retardant metal fittings 53, 54 are extended to positions facing end faces 535, which are the small ends of the upper ends of the vertical fire-retardant metal fittings 53, 54, at a predetermined distance. Heat-foaming materials 75, 76 are provided at the upper ends of the vertical fire-retardant metal fittings 53, 54, and in the event of a fire, the heat-foaming materials 75, 76 foam and can close the clearance between the upper fire-retardant metal fittings 51 and the vertical fire-retardant metal fittings 53, 54. In addition, since the heated foam materials 75, 76 are also attached to the lower ends of the vertical fireproof fittings 53, 54, the clearance between the lower ends of the vertical fireproof fittings 53, 54 and the existing lower frame 12 can also be blocked. These fireproof structures mean that in the event of a fire breaking out on the inside of the room, the upper flame-retardant fittings 51, vertical flame-retardant fittings 53, 54 and foamed heated foaming materials 75, 76 can prevent flames from flowing between the existing frame 10 and the new frame 20 through the clearance on the inside of the room between the existing upper frame 11, existing left vertical frame 13, existing right vertical frame 14 and the new upper frame 21, new left vertical frame 23, and new right vertical frame 24. Furthermore, even if flames flow into between the existing frame 10 and the new frame 20 through the upper flame-retardant fittings 51 and the vertical flame-retardant fittings 53, 54, the upper cover material 41 and the vertical cover materials 43, 44 abut against the existing frame 10 and the new frame 20 in an overlapping state in the forward direction, and the heated foaming materials 711, 712, 731, 741 attached to the upper cover material 41 and the vertical cover materials 43, 44 foam and seal the space, preventing the flames of an indoor fire from passing through the renovated sash 1 to reach the outside of the room. Similarly, in the event of an outdoor fire, a flame-shielding line is formed by the upper cover material 41, the vertical cover materials 43, 44, the heated foam materials 711, 712, 731, 741, the upper flame-shielding fittings 51, and the vertical flame-shielding fittings 53, 54, thereby preventing the flames of the outdoor fire from passing through the renovated sash 1 to reach the inside of the room.
[0044] [Fireproof structure of the newly constructed hollow upper frame] As shown in Figs. 3 to 6, the first hollow portion 214A of the new upper frame 21 is formed continuously in the longitudinal direction (X-axis direction) of the new upper frame 21, and the first lower surface portion 212A has holes 219 formed at a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction. Of these holes 219, two holes 219 sandwiching the joining position where the wind stopper plate 80 is arranged are formed in relatively close positions and are respectively arranged in the outdoor space and the indoor space partitioned by the outer screen 5 and the inner screen 6. Therefore, in the event of a fire, there is a possibility that flames and smoke will reach the other space from one space via the hole 219 communicating with that space, the first hollow portion 214A, and the other hole 219. In this embodiment, these two holes 219 are blocked with blocking material 26, so that the flames can be blocked. In addition, since the two holes 219 on the left and right sides of the newly installed upper frame 21 are blocked with plastic caps 265, there is a possibility that the caps 265 will be burned in the event of a fire. However, the distance between the hole 219 located in the outdoor space blocked with the cap 265 and the hole 219 located in the indoor space is longer than the two holes 219 on either side of the joint position blocked with the blocking material 26, so that flames and smoke will not reach one space from the other through these holes 219 and the first hollow portion 214A for a certain period of time required to ensure fire resistance, and therefore the fire resistance will not be reduced.
[0045] [Fireproof structure of the newly installed hollow part of the right vertical frame] 11, the hollow portion 244A of the newly installed right vertical frame 24 is disposed straddling the interior and exterior of the inner screen 6 in the forward direction, and if the plastic cap 266 burns or the screw 257 comes loose during a fire, there is a possibility that the inside of the hollow portion 244A will communicate with the exterior space and the interior space of the inner screen 6. In this case, there is a possibility that flames will reach the exterior from the interior or the interior from the exterior through the hollow portion 244A. In response to this, vertical reinforcement material 28 is placed within hollow portion 244A, and its exterior facing surface 282 divides hollow portion 244A into an exterior space and an interior space, so that flames can be blocked by exterior facing surface 282 which functions as a partition wall. Furthermore, since the heat foaming materials 742, 743 are attached to the vertical reinforcement material 28, the heat foaming materials 742, 743 foam in the event of a fire, and can block the space and the hole 249 in the hollow portion 244A. This makes it possible to reliably block the flames. Furthermore, since the heat-foaming materials 742, 743 are attached over the entire length of the vertical reinforcement material 28, it is also possible to prevent flames from entering through the upper and lower openings of the hollow portion 244A.
[0046] [Fireproof structure of the newly installed hollow part of the left vertical frame] As shown in Fig. 7, the hollow portion 234A of the newly installed left vertical frame 23 is positioned on the indoor side of the outer screen 5 in the expected direction, so in the event of a fire, flames will not reach the interior or exterior of the room through the hollow portion 234A, but there is a possibility that flames may enter through the small openings at the top and bottom. In the event of a fire, the heated foaming materials 732, 733 attached to the vertical reinforcement material 27 will foam, preventing the flames from entering through the small openings.
[0047] [Fireproof structure of new frames and shoji screens] The fire prevention structures between the newly installed frame 20 and the outer screen 5 and inner screen 6, and within the outer screen 5 and inner screen 6, are realized by disposing a heat foaming material in the newly installed frame 20 and the outer screen 5 and inner screen 6. For example, if the guide blocks 91, 92 of the door end frames of the outer screen 5 and inner screen 6 are burned, the heat foaming materials 771, 772 will foam and close the gaps with the newly installed left vertical frame 23 and the newly installed right vertical frame 24. These fire prevention structures are the same as those of general fire-resistant sashes, so a description will be omitted.
[0048] [Effects of the embodiment] According to this embodiment, the new upper frame 21 is provided with the first hollow portion 214A and the second hollow portion 214B, so that the strength of the new upper frame 21 can be improved compared to a case where no hollow portion is provided. In addition, hollow portions 234A, 244A are formed in the new left vertical frame 23 and the new right vertical frame 24 of the new frame 20, and a hollow portion in which reinforcing material 29 is placed is also formed in the new bottom frame 22, so that the strength of the new bottom frame 22, the new left vertical frame 23, and the new right vertical frame 24 can also be improved. This improves the strength of the new frame 20 and also prevents deformation of the new frame 20, which cannot be directly fixed to the main body 2.
[0049] The two holes 219 that communicate with the first hollow portion 214A of the newly installed upper frame 21 and are located on either side of the joining position are blocked with flame-retardant metal blocking material 26, thereby blocking flames and preventing flames from reaching one side of the outdoor space and the indoor space partitioned by the outer screen 5 and the inner screen 6 through the two holes 219 and the first hollow portion 214A to the other, thereby improving fire resistance.
[0050] Since the blocking material 26 is made of a metal plate, processing is easier and costs can be reduced compared to when a flame-retardant resin material is used. The blocking material 26 is arranged between the outer rail 217 and the inner rail 218 of the newly installed upper frame 21, so that when the newly installed upper frame 21 is looked up at from the outside or inside of the room, the blocking material 26 can be hidden by each rail, improving the appearance.
[0051] In the newly installed upper frame 21, the underside portion 212 between the outer rail 217 and the inner rail 218 is configured to include a first underside portion 212A in which a hole 219 communicating with the first hollow portion 214A is formed, and a second underside portion 212B on the outdoor side of the first underside portion 212A and which is open at the top, and since the sealing material 26 that seals the hole 219 is fixed to the second underside portion 212B with a screw 263, a hole for screwing the screw 263 can be easily processed.
[0052] Since holes 219 are formed in the first lower surface portion 212A, screws 251 for fixing the new upper frame 21 can be placed in the first hollow portion 214A through the holes 219, and the heads of the screws 251 can be placed in the first hollow portion 214A. This prevents the screws 251 from being exposed on the inner periphery side of the window frame. In addition, holes 219 can be formed at relatively close positions on either side of the joint position, and the newly installed upper frame 21 can be fixed with two screws 251 on either side of the joint position, so that the force applied to the joint portion of the outer sash 5 and the inner sash 6 can be supported by the screws 251 via the newly installed upper frame 21, improving the wind pressure resistance of the renovated sash 1.
[0053] [Variations] The fire sash of the present invention is not limited to the sliding window of the above embodiment, but can be applied to fire sashes of window types in which at least one of the inner and outer sashes can be slidably moved, such as casement windows, single sliding windows, and single sash windows.
[0054] In the above embodiment, the two holes 219 arranged on either side of the joining position are each closed with the closing material 26, but only one of them may be closed with the closing material 26. The blocking material 26 is not limited to being made of a metal plate. For example, the blocking material 26 may be made of a flame-retardant resin material, such as fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP). The blocking material 26 is not limited to being plate-shaped, and for example, the diameter of the hole 219 may be made smaller than the head of the screw 251, and the head of the screw 251 may block the hole 219, thereby using the head of the screw 251 as the blocking material.
[0055] In addition, the sealing material 26 in the above embodiment is not limited to being used for sealing holes 219 in the newly installed upper frame 21 of the renovated sash 1, but may also be used for sealing holes 219B in the newly installed upper frame 21B that is directly attached to the building's main body 2B, as shown in Figure 12. Similarly, although not shown, the structure of arranging the vertical reinforcement 28 having the exterior appearance surface 282 that becomes a partition wall in the hollow portion 244A of the new right vertical frame 24, and the structure of attaching the heated foaming materials 742, 743 to the arranged vertical reinforcement 28 are not limited to the new right vertical frame 24 that constitutes the new frame 20 of the remodeled sash 1, but may be used for the new frame 20 that is directly attached to the building frame. Furthermore, the structure of forming a partition wall with the reinforcement material and the structure of arranging the heated foaming material are not limited to the vertical frame, and can be used in cases where, for example, the upper frame of a sash window has a hollow portion that is provided across the exterior and interior sides of the closed shoji screen in the projection direction, and further, an exterior hole that communicates with the exterior space of the shoji screen and an interior hole that communicates with the interior space are formed in the hollow portion.
[0056] [Summary of the invention] The present invention is a fireproof sash comprising a window frame and a shoji screen, wherein the window frame is formed by framing vertical and horizontal frames, the shoji screen is composed of an outer shoji screen and an inner shoji screen which move along a pair of guide frames composed of vertical or horizontal frames, at least one of the guide frames has a hollow portion continuing in the longitudinal direction, and a plurality of holes communicating with the hollow portions are formed along the longitudinal direction on the surface facing the shoji screen, and at least one of the two holes located on either side of the joining position of the outer shoji screen and the inner shoji screen is sealed with a flame-retardant sealing material. According to the present invention, at least one of the vertical and horizontal frames of the window frame is made of a frame material having a hollow portion, which improves the strength of the window frame compared to a case without a hollow portion. Therefore, the necessary strength can be ensured even when the frame is used as a new frame for a remodeled sash that cannot be fixed directly to the frame structure. In addition, at least one of the two holes that communicate with the hollow portion of the guide frame and are located on either side of the joining position is blocked with a flame-retardant blocking material, thereby blocking flames and preventing flames from reaching one side of the outdoor space and indoor space partitioned by each screen through the two holes and hollow portion, thereby improving fire resistance.
[0057] In the fire sash of the present invention, the sealing material is preferably a metal plate. According to the present invention, the blocking material is made of a metal plate such as steel or aluminum, so that processing is easier and costs can be reduced compared to when a flame-retardant resin material is used.
[0058] In the fire sash of the present invention, it is preferable that the sealing material is a metal screw, and the hole is sealed with the head of the screw. According to the present invention, the hole can be easily sealed by simply inserting a metal screw into the hole and screwing it in. Also, since the hole can be sealed with the metal screw that fixes the frame to the frame body, the number of parts can be reduced.
[0059] In the fire sash of the present invention, it is preferable that the guide frame is an upper frame, which has an outer rail for guiding the outer sash and an inner rail for guiding the inner sash, and that the hole is formed between the outer rail and the inner rail. According to the present invention, in a sliding window, a sealing material can be placed between the inner and outer rails, and when the upper frame is looked up at from the outside or inside of the room, the sealing material can be hidden by the rail, improving the appearance.
[0060] In the fire sash of the present invention, it is preferable that the window frame is a new window frame that is placed on the inner periphery of an existing window frame, and that the hole is a hole for inserting a screw to fix the new window frame to the existing window frame. According to the present invention, the screws for fixing the new window frame can be inserted into the two holes on either side of the joint, so the heads of the screws can be positioned inside the hollow section. This prevents the screws from being exposed on the inner circumference of the window frame, improving the design. [Explanation of symbols]
