AI Technical Summary
Conventional lighting fixtures with heat dissipation fins on the base can lead to weight loss issues, compromising structural integrity and heat dissipation efficiency.
The lighting fixture design eliminates heat dissipation fins on the base, instead using a plate-shaped base and pillar portions to create a space for air flow between the base and the power supply unit, allowing air to flow in multiple directions parallel to the base surface.
This design effectively reduces weight while improving heat dissipation by allowing unobstructed air flow around the base, thereby maintaining structural integrity and enhancing thermal management.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0009] Embodiment 1 The lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment relates to a lighting fixture that is suppressed in weight. Hereinafter, as an embodiment of the present disclosure, a lighting fixture 1 that is attached to a ceiling, a wall, or the like via a suspension bolt will be described. In the following description, terms expressing directions are used as appropriate, but these terms are for the purpose of explanation and do not limit the lighting fixture. Terms expressing directions are, for example, the X direction, the Y direction, and the Z direction. The X direction, the Y direction, and the Z direction are perpendicular to each other. The X direction is the direction of the X axis shown in FIG. 1 and indicates the width direction. The width direction will be described as the width direction X, one direction in the width direction X as the right direction X1, and the opposite direction to the right direction X1 in the width direction X as the left direction X2. The Y direction is the direction of the Y axis shown in Figure 1 and indicates the depth direction, and the depth direction will be described as the depth direction Y, one direction in the depth direction will be described as the front direction Y1, and the direction opposite to the front direction Y1 in the depth direction Y will be described as the front direction Y2. The Z direction is the direction of the Z axis shown in FIG. 1 and indicates the up-down direction. The up-down direction will be described as the up-down direction Z, the up direction as the up-down direction Z1, and the down direction as the down-down direction Z2.
[0010] The lighting fixture 1 will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the lighting fixture 1 as viewed from the upward Z1 side. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the lighting fixture 1 shown in FIG. 1 as viewed from the downward Z2 side. FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the lighting fixture 1 shown in FIG. 1 as viewed from the upward Z1 side. FIG. 4 is an exploded perspective view of the lighting fixture 1 shown in FIG. 1 as viewed from the downward Z2 side. FIG. 5 is a perspective view for explaining the pillar portion 240 shown in FIG. 1, where (a) of FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the pillar portion 240 as viewed from one side, and (b) of FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the pillar portion 240 as viewed from the other side. FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the top plate portion 250 shown in FIG. 1.
[0011] The lighting fixture 1 is provided on a mounting portion such as a ceiling, and includes an arm 100 attached to a hanging bolt (not shown), and a light source unit 200 rotatably held by the arm 100. Note that, although the mounting portion is described assuming a ceiling, it is not limited to the ceiling and may be a beam or a wall.
[0012] The arm 100 has a U-shape and sandwiches and holds the light source unit 200. The arm 100 includes an arm body 110 that is attached to a mounting portion, and a connection member 120 that attaches the light source unit 200 to the arm 110.
[0013] The arm body 110 includes an arm horizontal portion 111 that is attached to a mounting portion, and an arm vertical portion 113 to which the light source unit 200 is attached. Although the arm body 110 is integrally formed by bending a metal plate, it may be integrally formed by a molding method such as extrusion molding. It may also be formed by combining a plurality of members.
[0014] The arm horizontal portion 111 is a long rectangular flat plate. The arm horizontal portion 111 is provided with a pair of suspension bolt attachment holes 112 through which suspension bolts (not shown) provided on the attachment portion are inserted. One of the suspension bolt attachment holes 112 has an elongated hole shape along the width direction X of the arm horizontal portion 111. Therefore, the suspension bolt can be inserted through the suspension bolt attachment hole 112 even if the position of the arm horizontal portion 111 and the suspension bolt provided on the attachment portion are misaligned in the width direction X.
[0015] The arm vertical portions 113 are plate-shaped and provided so as to protrude in a pair downward direction Z2 from the end side of the arm horizontal portion 111 in the width direction X. The arm vertical portions 113 are provided with an arm connection portion 114 on the end side opposite the arm horizontal portion 111.
[0016] The arm connection part 114 has an arm insertion hole 115, which is a circular through hole through which a bolt-shaped connection member 120 for attaching the arm 100 to the light source unit 200 is inserted. The arm connection part 114 also has a scale 116 engraved on its outer edge on the downward Z2 side, which indicates the difference in angle between the arm vertical part 113 and the direction of light emitted from the light source unit 200. This light direction is perpendicular to a substrate 211, which will be described later. The arm 110 is connected to the light source unit 200 by inserting the connection member 120 into the arm insertion hole 115. By connecting the light source unit 200 to the light source 200, the light source unit 200 is rotatably held.
[0017] The light source unit 200 includes a light emitting portion 210 , a cover 220 , a base 230 , a pillar portion 240 , a top plate portion 250 , and a power supply device 260 , and is held by the arm 100 .
[0018] The light emitting section 210 includes a board 211 attached to a base 230, and a light emitting element 212 mounted on the board 211. The light emitting section 210 receives power from a power supply device 260 and emits light.
[0019] The substrate 211 is plate-shaped and has a light-emitting surface 213 on the downward Z2 side on which multiple light-emitting elements 212 are mounted, and a substrate mounting surface 214 on the upward Z1 side which is attached to the base 230.
[0020] The light emitting elements 212 are LED elements, and a plurality of them are mounted on the light emitting surface 213 of the substrate 211. Note that the light emitting elements 212 are not limited to LED elements, and may be light emitting elements such as organic EL elements or lasers.
[0021] The cover 220 is attached to the base 230 so as to cover the light emitting unit 210, and includes a cover main part 221 and a cover flange part 222. The cover 220 diffuses and transmits the light emitted by the light emitting element 212, and is molded from a resin such as polycarbonate or acrylic.
[0022] The cover main part 221 has a cover main surface part 2211 facing the substrate 211, and a cover side surface part 2212 provided so as to protrude in the upward direction Z1 from the outer periphery of the cover main surface part 2211. The cover main part 221 covers and protects the light emitting part 210, and diffuses and transmits light emitted by the light emitting element 212.
[0023] The cover flange 222 is provided so as to protrude outward from the end side in the upward direction Z1 of the cover side surface portion 2212. When the column portion 240 is attached to the light source unit 200, the cover flange portion 222 is attached to the base 230 by an attachment means such as a screw (not shown).
[0024] The base 230 includes a rectangular plate-shaped base main part 231 and a base flange part 232 provided so as to protrude from the outer periphery of the base main part 231. The base 230 is formed using an aluminum alloy having excellent versatility, but is not limited to an aluminum alloy and may be any metal material having high thermal conductivity. The base 230 may be formed by bending a single sheet metal, or may be integrally formed by a molding method such as extrusion molding.
[0025] The base main part 231 has a first surface 233 on the downward Z2 side to which the light emitting part 210 is attached, and a second surface 234 on the upward Z1 side to which the column part 240 is attached. The base main part 231 receives heat generated by the light emitting part 210 and dissipates the heat.
[0026] The base flange 232 is provided so as to protrude downward in the Z2 direction from the outer periphery of the base main part 231. Since the base flange 232 protrudes downward in the Z2 direction from the base main part 231, accumulation of water and dust on the second surface 234 of the base main part 231 can be suppressed. In addition, the base flange 232 can improve the rigidity of the base 230. Therefore, the base flange 232 can maintain the rigidity of the base 230 even if the base 230 is formed from a thin plate, and can reduce the weight.
[0027] The column portion 240 is plate-shaped and includes a column main portion 241, a top plate side mounting portion 243, a column side portion 244, a base side protruding portion 245, and a cover holding portion 246. The column portion 240 is formed using a metal material such as steel or stainless steel. The column portion 240 is installed between the base 230 and the top plate portion 250, with the base side protruding portion 245 attached to the base 230 and the top plate side mounting portion 243 attached to the top plate portion 250. The four pillars 240 are disposed between the base 230 and the top plate 250 so as to face each other in the width direction X and the depth direction Y, respectively. Although the pillar portion 240 is formed by bending a metal plate, it may be integrally formed by a molding method such as extrusion molding.
[0028] Among the pillars 240, a pair of pillars provided to face each other in the width direction X are referred to as pillars 240a. When the light source unit 200 is held by the arm 100, the pillar portion 240a faces the arm connection portion 114 and is held so as to be sandwiched by the arm 100.
[0029] Among the pillars 240, those provided in a pair so as to face each other in the depth direction Y are referred to as pillars 240b. In a state in which the power supply device 260 is attached to the light source unit 200, the pillar portion 240b faces an end face of the power supply device 260 in the depth direction Y of the pillar portion 240.
[0030] The column main part 241 is in the shape of a rectangular flat plate, and has a column inner surface part 2411 facing the power supply device 260, and a column outer surface part 2412 on the opposite side of the column inner surface part 2411. The column main part 241 has a connection hole 242 penetrating the column inner surface part 2411 and the column outer surface part 2412 and provided with a female thread. The connection member 120 is inserted through the arm insertion hole 115 to press the arm body 110 in the direction from the arm connection part 114 side toward the column main part 241 side, and is attached to the connection hole 242.
[0031] The top plate side mounting portion 243 is plate-shaped and provided at the end side in the upward direction Z1 of the column main portion 241 so as to protrude in a direction from the column outer surface portion 2412 side toward the column inner surface portion 2411 side. The top plate side mounting portion 243 is attached to the top plate portion 250.
[0032] The pillar side parts 244 are plate-shaped and provided so as to protrude in a direction from the pillar outer surface part 2412 side toward the pillar inner surface part 2411 side on both side parts of the pillar main part 241 in the vertical direction Z. The pillar side parts 244 improve the rigidity of the pillar part 240 and can reduce the weight of the pillar part 240. The pillar side parts 244 have a first pillar side part 2441 to which a fall prevention wire (not shown) is attached on one side, and a second pillar side part on the other side whose end part on the downward direction Z2 side is close to the base 230. When the column main part 241 moves due to vibration or the like, the second column side part 2442 comes into contact with the base 230 and can suppress the vibration of the column part 240.
[0033] The base side protrusion 245 is plate-shaped and provided to protrude in a direction from the column outer surface portion 2412 side toward the column inner surface portion 2411 side at the end side in the downward direction Z2 of the column main portion 241. The base side protrusion 245 is attached to the second surface 234 of the base main portion 231 by attachment means such as a screw (not shown).
[0034] The cover holding portion 246 is plate-shaped and has a holding portion vertical portion 2461 and a holding portion horizontal portion 2462 . The holding portion vertical portion 2461 is plate-shaped and is provided at the end side of the column main portion 241 in the downward direction Z2 so as to protrude in the Z2 direction from the end side adjacent to the base-side protruding portion 245. The holding portion horizontal portion 2462 is plate-shaped and provided so as to protrude in a direction from the column outer surface portion 2412 side toward the column inner surface portion 2411 side at the end side in the downward direction Z2 of the holding portion vertical portion 2461. The holding portion horizontal portion 2462 faces a surface of the cover flange portion 222 on the downward direction Z2 side in the up-down direction Z in a state in which the cover 220, the base 230, and the column portion 240 are assembled. Therefore, when the cover 220 comes off the base 230 and falls, the holding portion 246 can hold the cover 220 and prevent it from falling.
[0035] The top plate portion 250 is plate-shaped and has a circular top plate main portion 251 to which the power supply device 260 is attached, and a top plate protruding portion 252 to which the top plate side mounting portion 243 of the column portion 240 is attached.
[0036] The top plate main part 251 is in the shape of a circular plate. The top plate main part 251 has a power supply attachment surface 253 which is a surface on the downward direction Z2 side and faces the base main part 231 when the base 230 is attached to the light source unit 200. The power supply attachment surface 253 is attached to the power supply device 260 by a screw or the like (not shown). The power supply attachment surface 253 is formed to have a smaller area than the second surface 234 of the base main part 231.
[0037] The tabletop protruding portions 252 are plate-shaped and are provided so as to protrude outward from the outer periphery of the tabletop main portion 251. The tabletop protruding portions 252 are provided in pairs in the width direction X and the depth direction Y on the outer periphery of the tabletop main portion 251. The tabletop protruding portions 252 are attached to the tabletop side attachment portion 243 of the column portion 240 by attachment means such as screws.
[0038] The power supply device 260 has a box shape and includes a power supply case 261, a lighting control circuit section 262, a terminal section 263, and a power supply socket 264. The power supply device 260 receives power from an external power supply (not shown) and lights up the light emitting element 212.
[0039] The power supply case 261 has a long box shape in the depth direction Y, and is attached to the power supply mounting surface 253 of the top plate main part 251. The power supply case 261 has a case bottom part 2611 attached to the power supply mounting surface 253 of the top plate main part 251, and a case lid part 2612 attached to the case bottom part 2611 by screws or the like. When the power supply device 260 is attached to the power supply mounting surface 253 of the top plate part 250, the end face of the power supply case 261 in the depth direction Y faces the pillar part 240b, and the side face in the depth direction Y faces the pillar part 240a. The power supply case 261 is disposed so as to be spaced apart from the second surface 234 of the base main portion 231 in the vertical direction Z. Although the power supply case 261 is formed by bending a single metal plate, it may be formed as a single unit by a molding method such as extrusion molding. Further, in the above description, the power supply case 261 has the case lid 2612 attached to the case bottom 2611 by means of screws or the like, but they may be attached by other means such as fitting.
[0040] The lighting control circuit section 262 is housed in the power supply case 261, and converts power supplied from the outside and supplies it to the light emitting section 210. The lighting circuit control section 262 may receive a control signal from the outside (not shown) to control the lighting state of the light emitting element 212.
[0041] The terminal portion 263 is provided at one end of the power supply case 261 in the depth direction Y, and is connected to an external electric wire (not shown). The terminal portion 263 is connected to the lighting control circuit portion 262 by an internal electric wire (not shown).
[0042] The power supply insertion port 264 is an opening formed in the terminal portion 263, through which a power supply line (not shown) is inserted.
[0043] The above is the overall configuration of lighting fixture 1 of embodiment 1. Next, a method for mounting lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 7. Fig. 7 is a front view of lighting fixture 1 in a state where column sections 240b, which are opposed to each other in the depth direction Y, among column sections 240, are not shown.
[0044] Initially, the lighting fixture 1 is separate from the suspension bolt of the mounting portion (not shown). The power supply unit 260 is disposed on the power supply mounting surface 253 of the top plate portion 250, and a working space 11 is formed between the arm 100 and the top plate portion 250. Next, the worker inserts the suspension bolt into the bolt hole 112 of the arm horizontal portion 111 and projects it into the working space 11. Then, the worker attaches the arm 100 to the suspension bolt with a fastener such as a nut. At this time, the worker attaches the arm 100 to the suspension bolt in the work space 11 using a tool such as a spanner or an impact wrench. The work space 11 ensures the work space 11 for fixing the arm 100 to the suspension bolt by disposing the power supply unit 260 on the power supply mounting surface 253 of the top plate portion 250. Therefore, the lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1 can improve the workability of mounting the lighting fixture 1 to the mounting portion.
[0045] The above is the mounting method of lighting fixture 1 according to the present embodiment 1. Next, the flow of air between base 230 and power supply device 260 will be described with reference to Fig. 8. Fig. 8 is a top view of light source unit 200 in a state in which top panel portion 250 is not shown.
[0046] The pillars 240 are provided between the second surfaces 234 of the base main part 231, facing each other on the width direction X side and the depth direction Y side. The power supply device 260 is disposed on the power supply mounting surface 253 of the top board main part 251 so as to be spaced apart from the base main part 231 in the up-down direction Z. The column portion opposing line 12a shown by a dotted line in FIG. 8 is an imaginary line that connects the positions of both ends in the depth direction Y of the column portions 240a that are provided in pairs facing each other in the width direction X with a dotted line parallel to the width direction X. The column portion opposing line 12b shown by a dotted line in FIG. 8 is an imaginary line that connects the positions of both ends in the width direction X of a pair of column portions 240b that are provided opposite each other in the depth direction Y with a dotted line parallel to the depth direction Y.
[0047] The air flow between the base 230 and the power supply device 260 in the above configuration will be described with reference to FIG. An air flow path 13 indicated by an arrow in FIG. 8 is an example of an air flow that flows along the second surface 234 of the base main portion 231 between the base 230 and the power supply device 260. The air flow path 13a indicates the flow of air in the base 230, from the end of the pillar portion 240a in the depth direction Y, which is on the front direction Y2 side in the width direction X, to the end of the pillar portion 240b in the width direction X, which is on the left direction X2 side in the depth direction Y. The air flow path 13b represents an air flow in the base 230 that flows from the end portion of the column portion 240a on the front direction Y1 side in the depth direction Y and on the right direction X1 side in the width direction X to the end portion of the column portion 240a on the front direction Y1 side in the depth direction Y and on the left direction X2 side in the width direction X, and crosses the column portion opposing line 12a in the width direction X from the right direction X1 side to the left direction X2 side. The air flow path 13c represents an air flow in the base 230 that flows from the end portion of the column portion 240b on the right side X1 in the width direction X and the front direction Y2 side in the depth direction Y to the end portion of the column portion 240b on the right side X1 in the width direction X and the front direction Y1 side in the depth direction Y, and crosses the column portion opposing line 12b in the depth direction Y from the front direction Y2 side to the front direction Y1 side. The air flow path 13d represents an air flow in the base 230 that flows from the end of the column portion 240a in the depth direction Y, which is on the front direction Y2 side and the left direction X2 side in the width direction X, to the end of the column portion 240a in the depth direction Y, which is on the front direction Y1 side and the right direction X1 side in the width direction X, and crosses the column portion opposing line 12a in the depth direction Y from the front direction Y2 side to the front direction Y1 side. The air flow path 13e represents an air flow in the base 230 that flows from the end portion on the left direction X2 side of the column portion 240b in the width direction X and the front direction Y2 side in the depth direction Y to the end portion on the right direction X1 side of the column portion 240b in the width direction X and the front direction Y1 side in the depth width direction Y, crosses the column portion opposing line 12b from the left direction X2 side to the right direction X1 side in the width direction X, and crosses the column portion opposing line 12a in the depth direction Y from the front direction Y2 side to the front direction Y1 side. The air flow path 13f represents an air flow in the base 230 that flows from the end portion of the column portion 240b on the left direction X2 side in the width direction X and the front direction Y1 side in the depth direction Y to the end portion of the column portion 240a on the front direction Y2 side in the depth direction Y and the right direction X1 side in the width direction X, crosses the column portion opposing line 12b from the left direction X2 side to the right direction X1 side in the width direction X, and crosses the column portion opposing line 12a in the depth direction Y from the front direction Y1 side to the front direction Y2 side. As explained above, the air flow path along the second surface 234 of the base main portion 231 is air flow paths 13a to 13f between the base 230 and the power supply unit 260. However, as long as there is no interference with the column portion 240 on the outer periphery of the base 230, the air flow path is not limited to air flow paths 13a to 13e.
[0048] In the lighting fixture 1, a plurality of air flow paths that flow along the second surface 234 of the base main portion 231 can be provided so as to intersect with each other, thereby making it possible to improve the heat dissipation capacity of the base 230. In the lighting fixture 1, the pillar parts 240 are provided facing each other on the width direction X side and the depth direction Y side of the second surface 234 of the base main part 231, which is a heat transfer surface, and the power supply device 260 is disposed on the power supply mounting surface 253 of the top board main part 251 with a gap provided between it and the base main part 231 in the up-down direction Z. Thus, in the lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1, air can flow through the air flow paths 13a to 13f. If plate-shaped heat dissipation fins are provided on the base 230, the air can only flow in the direction along the heat dissipation fins, and it is considered that the air flowing in the direction intersecting the heat dissipation fins will be blocked by the heat dissipation fins. Also, if multiple heat dissipation fins are provided, the air flow between the multiple heat dissipation fins will be blocked by the outer heat dissipation fins, and the heat dissipated from the heat dissipation fins may remain there. Compared to the case where a heat dissipation mechanism such as heat dissipation fins is provided, base 230 can suppress the restriction of the flow path of air flowing along second surface 234 of base main part 231, and allows air to flow unobstructed from a plurality of directions, improving heat dissipation capability. Thus, lighting device 1 of the present embodiment 1 can suppress the rise in temperature without providing a heat dissipation mechanism in base 230. Also, weight can be suppressed.
[0049] This concludes the description of the air flow between base 230 and power supply device 260. Next, the effects of the first embodiment will be described.
[0050] The lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1 includes a base main part 231 on which the second surface 234 is formed, a top plate main part 251 on which a power supply mounting surface 253 facing the second surface is formed, a power supply device 260 attached to the power supply mounting surface 253 with a gap provided between the base main part 231, and a pair of columns 240 arranged to face each other, the top plate side mounting part 243 attached to the top plate protruding part 252, and the base side protruding part 245 attached to the base main part 231. In the configuration of the lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1, the air between the base 230 and the power supply device 260 can flow along the second surface 234 in at least two directions that are parallel to the second surface 234 and intersect with the direction of the column part facing lines 12a and 12b to which the column part 240 faces. Thus, the lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1 can improve the heat dissipation capacity of the base 230.
[0051] Furthermore, in lighting device 1 of the present embodiment 1, column portion 240 faces an end face and a side face of power supply device 260 in the depth direction Y in a direction parallel to the second surface of base 230, and the width of column portion 240 is smaller than the width of the end face of the power supply device in the depth direction Y. The smaller the width of column portion 240, the easier it is for air to flow between base 230 and power supply device 260 over a wider range. Thus, lighting device 1 of the present embodiment 1 can improve the heat dissipation capacity of base 230.
[0052] Furthermore, in lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1, base flange 232 is provided so as to protrude downward in direction Z2 from the outer periphery of base main part 231, and therefore it is possible to prevent water and dust from accumulating on second surface 234 of base main part 231 due to gravity and air flow. Therefore, lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1 can prevent foreign matter from adhering to the second surface, which is a heat transfer surface, and therefore it is possible to prevent a decrease in the heat dissipation capacity of base 230.
[0053] Furthermore, in the lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1, the second surface of the base main part 231 is disposed opposite the power supply mounting surface 253 of the top plate main part 251. The air heated by the base 231 tends to flow toward the top plate main part 251 in the vertical direction Z because the area of the power supply mounting surface 253 is smaller than the area of the second surface 234. Therefore, the lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1 can improve the heat dissipation capacity of the base 230, which allows air to easily flow between the base main part 231 and the top plate main part 251.
[0054] Furthermore, in lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1, power supply unit 260 is disposed on power supply mounting surface 253 of tabletop main part 251, pillar part 240 is provided on tabletop protruding part 252 so as to face power supply unit 260, and arm body 110 is attached to sandwich pillar part 240a from the upward Z1 side. Thus, lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1 can ensure a working space in which tools can be used between arm body 110 and tabletop main part 251, as in working space 11 shown in Fig. 7, and can improve the workability of installation.
[0055] Furthermore, the lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1 is attached while the arm body 110 presses the pillar part 240a in the direction from the arm connection part 114 side toward the pillar main part 241 side in the width direction X. Therefore, the movement of the lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1 in the width direction X is restricted, and vibration can be suppressed. Furthermore, in the lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment 1, the arm connection part 114 of the arm body 110 may be extended to the base flange part 232 in the vertical direction Z, and the arm body 110 may press the pillar part 240a and the base 230 in a direction from the arm connection part 114 side toward the pillar main part 241 side and be attached to the pillar main part 241. In this case, the arm body 110 can suppress vibrations more effectively than in a state where only the pillar part 240a is pressed.
[0056] The above is a description of the effects of lighting fixture 1 according to embodiment 1. Next, modified example 1 of lighting fixture 1 according to embodiment 1 will be described with reference to Fig. 8. Fig. 8 is a perspective view of lighting fixture 1 showing modified example 1, viewed from the Z2 direction.
[0057] Although the cover main part 221 in the present embodiment 1 has been described as having a box shape, it may have a hemispherical shape like the cover main part 221a of the cover 230a shown in Fig. 8. The cover main part 221 may have any shape that can provide any desired light distribution control. Although the base main part 231 in the present embodiment 1 has a rectangular shape, it may have a disk shape like the base main part 231a of the base 230a shown in Fig. 8. The base main part 231 faces the cover main part 221 and may be a flat plate having a size for attaching the cover flange part 222.
[0058] Next, a second variation of the lighting device 1 according to the first embodiment will be described. The top plate portion 250 in the present embodiment 1 is molded separately from and attached to the case bottom portion 2611 of the power supply case 261, but may be extruded integrally with the case bottom portion 2611. The top plate portion 250 has a power supply mounting surface 253 facing the base main portion 231, and may be attached to the pillar portion 240. [Explanation of symbols]
