AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

The hot-boiling smoke generator cannot provide sufficient inhalation time when the user cannot inhale the smoke due to personal reasons, resulting in poor user experience.

Method used

By integrating a breath sensing sensor and control unit in the smoke generator, the user's smoking status is monitored and automatically extends the smoking time or increases the number of smoking times when the user cannot fully inhale the smoke.

Benefits of technology

It realizes that when the user cannot fully inhale the smoke, it automatically compensates for the smoking time or number of times, improving the user's smoking experience.

Abstract

One embodiment of the present disclosure discloses an aerosol generating device that includes a cigarette containing an aerosol generating substrate, a puff detection sensor that detects puffs, and a control unit that controls power supplied to a heater that heats the cigarette, wherein the control unit calculates a cumulative inhalation amount up to a first point in time based on the puffs detected by the puff detection sensor, and at a second point in time, determines whether to extend a preset smoking time based on the calculated cumulative inhalation amount.
