Effect of the Invention

[0009] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a cosmetic composition which has an excellent balance between good spreadability and affinity to hair, and suppression of stickiness, stiffness and squeaky feeling of hair, and which imparts a pleasant feel to hair. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0010] Hereinafter, the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to specific examples of each component. In the present embodiment, the composition may contain each component either alone or in combination of two or more kinds.

[0011] In this embodiment, the hair cosmetic composition is used without rinsing after application to hair, and is a composition containing the following components (A) to (C). (A) Hydrocarbon oil (B) Esters of two or three identical or different fatty acids having a straight or branched carbon chain with 7 to 21 carbon atoms, which may have multiple double bonds, with a polyol (excluding component (C) below). (C) Vegetable oil (excluding component (A)).

[0012] In this embodiment, the hair cosmetic is specifically a cosmetic that is applied to at least one of the scalp or hair, and is preferably applied to the scalp and hair. The present inventors have found that a hair cosmetic composition containing a combination of the above-mentioned components (A) to (C) can impart a pleasant feel to hair.

[0013] (Component (A)) Component (A) is a hydrocarbon oil. From the viewpoint of imparting a more preferable feel to hair, component (A) is preferably a hydrocarbon oil that is liquid at 25°C, more preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of liquid paraffin, liquid isoparaffin, light isoparaffin, light liquid isoparaffin, heavy liquid isoparaffin and squalane, and even more preferably squalane. Here, a hydrocarbon oil that is liquid at 25° C. specifically means one that has a viscosity of 10,000 mPa s or less at 25° C. The viscosity is measured using a Brookfield viscometer (for example, TVB-10, manufactured by Toki Sangyo Co., Ltd.) with a rotor M2, a rotation speed of 1.5 rpm, and a measurement time of 60 seconds.

[0014] Specifically, known squalane can be used as the squalane. More specifically, the squalane includes one or more selected from the group consisting of synthetic squalane obtained by polymerizing isoprene, vegetable squalane derived from plants such as sugar cane, olive oil, rice bran, and sesame seed, and squalane derived from shark liver oil, and preferably includes vegetable squalane.

[0015] From the viewpoint of suppressing stiffness of hair, the content of component (A) in the hair cosmetic is preferably 20% by mass or more, more preferably 25% by mass or more, even more preferably 30% by mass or more, and still more preferably 35% by mass or more, based on the total mass of the hair cosmetic. In addition, from the viewpoint of improving the feel of the hair and suppressing stickiness on the skin, the content of component (A) in the hair cosmetic is preferably 50% by mass or less, more preferably 45% by mass or less, and even more preferably 40% by mass or less, based on the total mass of the hair cosmetic.

[0016] (Component (B)) Component (B) is an ester of a polyol and two or three identical or different fatty acids having a linear or branched carbon chain with 7 to 21 carbon atoms, which may have multiple double bonds (excluding component (C) below). Component (B) is a component other than component (C) below. Specifically, the ester of component (B) is a diester or triester composed of two or three of the above fatty acids and one polyol. The multiple groups derived from the fatty acids in one ester molecule may be the same or different. The reason why the use of component (B) in combination with components (A) and (C) can give hair a pleasant feel is that, specifically, component (B) has multiple fatty acid-derived hydrocarbon groups bonded to it, making it highly hydrophobic, and it mixes well with other oils and interacts with hydrophobic hair (healthy parts) and skin.Furthermore, component (B) has a polyol skeleton (hydrophilic part) that gives it moderate hydrophilicity while maintaining oil solubility, and this part gives it the property of easily interacting with damaged parts of hair (hydrophilic). In addition, because of this property of easily bonding to hair and skin, it is thought that unpleasant feelings such as transference and stickiness are suppressed.

[0017] In component (B), from the viewpoint of preventing hair from feeling creaky and skin from feeling dry, the number of carbon atoms in the carbon chain of the fatty acid is 7 or more, and preferably 9 or more. In addition, from the viewpoint of preventing hair and skin from feeling sticky, the number of carbon atoms in the carbon chain of the fatty acid in component (B) is 21 or less, preferably 19 or less, and more preferably 17 or less. Specific examples of fatty acids constituting the ester of component (B) include at least one selected from the group consisting of caprylic acid (C8), capric acid (C10), lauric acid (C12), myristic acid (C14), palmitic acid (C16), palmitoleic acid (C16F1), stearic acid (C18), isostearic acid, oleic acid (C18F1), elaidic acid (C18F1), paccenic acid (C18F1), linoleic acid (C18F2), γ-linolenic acid (C18F3), α-linolenic acid (C18F3), and arachidic acid (C20). From the viewpoint of excellent compatibility with hair and skin, the fatty acid is preferably at least one of caprylic acid, capric acid, and isostearic acid, and more preferably capric acid or isostearic acid.

[0018] In component (B), the number of hydroxyl groups in the polyol is 2 or more. The number of hydroxyl groups in the polyol refers to the number of hydroxyl groups constituting an ester or remaining. From the viewpoint of non-stickiness of hair, the number of hydroxyl groups in the polyol in component (B) is preferably 5 or less, more preferably 4 or less. Specifically, component (B) is an ester of a polyol having two or more hydroxyl groups with the above-mentioned fatty acid, and from the viewpoint of non-stickiness of hair, it is preferably an ester of a polyol having 2 to 4 hydroxyl groups. The kinetic viscosity at 25°C is calculated using a capillary viscometer by measuring the time it takes for a certain volume of liquid to flow through the capillary of the viscometer at 25°C and one atmospheric pressure, and using the following formula from this flow time and the viscometer constant. The capillary viscometer used is of the Ubbelohde or Cannon-Fenske type. Kinematic viscosity (mm 2 / s) = Outflow time (seconds) x viscometer constant
