[0019] The names of messages or information that interact between multiple devices in the embodiments of the present disclosure are used only for illustrative purposes and are not intended to limit the scope of these messages or information.

[0020] Referring to FIG. 1, it is a flowchart of an embodiment of an information display method according to the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 1, the information display method includes the following steps.

[0021] Step 101: Display at least two session screening identifiers, and for each session corresponding to a session screening identifier, the session satisfies the screening conditions corresponding to the session screening identifier.

[0022] Step 102: Display the information of each session corresponding to the first screening identifier in the preset display area of the message page, where the first screening identifier is the currently selected screening identifier.

[0023] Here, the message page can be either the message page of the instant messaging client or the message page displayed on the web page.

[0024] Displaying the at least two session screening identifiers includes displaying at least two session screening identifiers in the first display area of the message page. The preset display area may be the second display area of the message page.

[0025] In some application scenarios, the first display area and the second display area are arranged within the same message page. For example, the first display area is located at the top of the message page, and the second display area is located below the first display area within the message page.

[0026] In some other application scenarios, the first display area and the second display area are arranged within different message pages.

[0027] In these application scenarios, the first display area may be arranged on the first message page, and the second display area may be arranged on the second message page. The first message page and the second message page may be simultaneously displayed on the display page. The first message page and the second message page may be non-simultaneously displayed on the display page. For example, first display the first message page. When the user triggers the session screening identifier in the first display area, set the triggered screening identifier as the first screening identifier, display the second message page on the display page, and display the information of each session corresponding to the first screening identifier on the second message page. The information of each session corresponding to a certain screening identifier is sorted according to a certain order.

[0028] The screening conditions include, but are not limited to, one or more of, for example, real-time notification of received new messages, no real-time notification of received new messages, and unprocessed messages.

[0029] In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the real-time notification specifically includes one or more of visual prompts for the user such as a message notification pop-up when a new message is received, an audio prompt message when a new message is received, and flashing when a new message is received. Correspondingly, no real-time notification means not posting the notification information corresponding to the real-time notification.

[0030] Each screening identifier includes, but is not limited to, text, graphics, etc. Each screening identifier is used to characterize a set of sessions that meet the screening conditions corresponding to the screening identifier. By way of example, the screening identifier may include, for example, a real-time notification screening identifier for instructing to notify new messages of a session in real time, a no-relaxation screening identifier for instructing not to notify new messages of a session in real time, an unprocessed screening identifier for indicating a pending message, and the like.

[0031] Use the screening conditions corresponding to each screening identifier to screen the user's sessions and classify the user's multiple sessions into different groups. Each session of the user can be associated with the screening identifier corresponding to the session. Each screening identifier may correspond to at least one session that meets the screening identifier.

[0032] On the message page, by the user's selection operation of the screening identifier displayed in the first display area, the screening identifier indicated by the selection operation can be used as the currently selected screening identifier. The selected screening identifier may be the first screening identifier.

[0033] In the preset display area of the message page, information on the session corresponding to the selected first screening identifier is displayed. When the preset display area and the first display area are arranged on the same message page, the preset display area may be arranged in an area other than the first display area in the message page. In some application scenarios, the first display area may be arranged at the top of the message page, or the preset display area may be arranged below the first display area.

[0034] In the preset display area, information of sessions corresponding to the first screening identifier is displayed. For example, information of a plurality of sessions corresponding to the first screening identifier may be displayed in the form of a list.

[0035] Information of sessions corresponding to the first screening identifier includes, for example, but is not limited to, session identifiers, session names, summary information of the latest messages of each session, information on the time when the latest message was received, etc.

[0036] Step 103: In response to the message of the session corresponding to the second screening identifier satisfying the preset condition, display the information of the session in the preset display area, where the second screening identifier is a screening identifier other than the first screening identifier.

[0037] Here, the second screening identifier may be any screening identifier other than the first screening identifier.

[0038] Since the second screening identifier is not the currently selected screening identifier, if the message of the session corresponding to the second screening identifier does not satisfy the preset condition, it will not be displayed in the preset display area.

[0039] When the message of the session corresponding to the second screening identifier satisfies the preset condition, the information of the session can be displayed in the preset display area. At this time, mainly information of a plurality of sessions corresponding to the first screening identifier may still be displayed in the preset display area.

[0040] That is, when information of a session corresponding to a first screening identifier is displayed in a preset display area, if a new message of a session corresponding to the received second screening identifier meets the preset conditions, the information of the session may be sent to the preset display area so as to timely display the new message.

[0041] In some selectable embodiments, the above preset conditions include, but are not limited to, at least one of the message carrying a preset identifier, the message being sent by a preset contact, and the message content being related to a preset theme.

[0042] The above preset identifier may be arranged at a preset position of the message, for example, in the header of the message. The above preset identifier includes, but is not limited to, text for indicating being sent to a designated user and / or text for indicating that the message is prioritized. When the session is a group session, the above designated user includes, but is not limited to, any user within the group session, all users within the group session. The text for indicating being sent to the above designated user may include any text characterizing the instructed transmission, but is not particularly limited herein.

[0043] The text for indicating that the above message is prioritized is any text characterizing rapid processing of the message, but is not particularly limited herein.

[0044] The above preset contact may be any preset contact. In this way, messages related to the designated contact can be notified in a timely manner, and the phenomenon of delay of messages of the designated contact can be avoided.

[0045] Whether the above message content is related to the preset theme can be determined by determining whether the message content contains preset keywords related to the preset theme. When the above preset keywords are included in the message content, it can be determined that the message content is related to the preset theme, and when it is not, it can be determined that it is not related.

[0046] Messages that meet the above preset conditions are usually messages that need to be timely notified to the user. By displaying the information of the session corresponding to the message that meets the above preset conditions in the preset display area, the requirement of timely notifying these messages to the user can be met.

[0047] In some selectable embodiments, the above information display method further includes the step of providing a setting page, and the setting page is used to set any one or more of the above preset identifier, preset contact, and preset theme.

[0048] The user can set preset conditions on the above setting page. For example, set the preset identifier as a preset condition on the setting page. By way of example, the preset identifier here may be the text "@" for indicating being sent to a specified user. Also, for example, on the setting page, the user identifier corresponding to the preset contact can be set as a preset condition. Also, for example, on the setting page, keywords related to the preset theme can be input and the preset theme can be used as a preset condition.

[0049] By providing the setting page, it becomes easy for the user to set or change the preset conditions.

[0050] In some selectable embodiments, the information of the session displayed in the preset display area includes at least one of the identifier information of the session to which the message belongs, the information for characterizing the second screening identifier, the information satisfying a predetermined condition, and the information for characterizing the time when the message was generated or the reception time. In some embodiments, the information of the session displayed in the preset display area may further include the summary information of the message.

[0051] By displaying the identifier information of the session to which the message belongs, it may be easier for the user to understand the source corresponding to the message. The information for characterizing the second screening identifier may include, for example, text information, graphic information, or image information. With the above information, the user can clearly and unambiguously understand that the screening identifier corresponding to the message is the second screening identifier.

[0052] Note that the second screening identifier may be any other screening identifier other than the first screening identifier, or a screening identifier within another preset range other than the first screening identifier, and is not particularly limited here.

[0053] The above predetermined condition includes the preset condition.

[0054] The above predetermined condition may be, for example, a preset condition satisfied by the above message. For example, it may be other set conditions such as the number of texts included in the message exceeding a preset text threshold.

[0055] With the information displaying the above predetermined condition, the user can understand the key information of the new message and be assisted in judging the importance of the new message.

[0056] In some application scenarios, the above-mentioned predetermined conditions may be, for example, preset identifiers carried by a message. In that case, the information of the session displayed in the preset display area may include the above-mentioned preset identifier. The above-mentioned preset identifier may include, for example, text for indicating being sent to a specified user and / or text for indicating that the message is prioritized.

[0057] In some application scenarios, the above-mentioned preset conditions may be, for example, that the message is sent by a preset contact. In that case, the information of the session in the preset display area may include the identifier of the above-mentioned preset contact.

[0058] In some application scenarios, the above-mentioned preset conditions may be, for example, that the message content is related to a preset theme. In that case, the information of the session displayed in the preset display area may include the information of the above-mentioned preset theme. The information of the preset theme includes preset keywords corresponding to the preset theme.

[0059] The time information of the session displayed in the preset display area may not be the time information of the latest message received by the session. The time information of the session displayed in the preset display area may be the generation time or reception time information of a message that meets the preset conditions. The generation time information of the above-mentioned message includes, but is not limited to, the transmission time of the message. By displaying the generation time or reception time of the message, the user can easily know the occurrence time of the message that meets the preset conditions of the session in the preset display area, and the user can appropriately process the above-mentioned new message of the session.

[0060] In this embodiment, the execution entity of the above information display method may be the user's terminal device, a communication client such as an instant message client installed on the user's terminal device, or a server. The instant message client mentioned here may be a client having an instant communication function. For example, if a client application for browsing short videos or image text information has an instant communication function, it belongs to the instant message client of the present disclosure.

[0061] Referring to FIGS. 2A to 2B, they are schematic diagrams of some application scenarios of the information display method provided by the present disclosure.

[0062] In this application scenario, the session screening identifier may be displayed on the same message page together with the information of a plurality of sessions corresponding to the currently selected screening identifier. In the message page, the screening identifier is displayed in the first display area 21, and the information of the session corresponding to the currently selected screening identifier (the first screening identifier) may be displayed in the preset display area. As shown in FIG. 2A, in this application scenario, the preset display area is the second display area 22 of the message display page.

[0063] In the first display area 21, at least two screening identifiers, such as S1, S2, and S3 shown in FIG. 2A, may be displayed. It should be noted that S1, S2, and S3 here are only exemplary screening identifiers. In fact, the screening identifier may include text, symbols, etc.

[0064] Each screening identifier corresponds to one preset screening condition. Each screening identifier corresponds to at least one session that meets the preset screening condition.

[0065] The user selects any one of the screening identifiers in the first display area 21 as the currently selected screening identifier, and in the second display area 22, information on the session of the currently selected screening identifier is displayed. As shown in FIG. 2A, the currently selected screening identifier is S1. S is used as the first screening identifier. A part of the message page is illustrated in FIG. 2A.

[0066] In the second display area 22, information on the session corresponding to the first screening identifier S1 is displayed. The message page here may be the message page of a preset instant messaging application or the message page of another web page.

[0067] The information on the session corresponding to the first screening identifier S1 displayed in the second display area 22 includes S11, S12, S13, S14, S15, and S16. The information on each session may include an identifier of the session. The identifier of the session includes a graphic identifier and a text identifier. The identifier of the session is used to distinguish different sessions. In some application scenarios, the identifier of the session includes the contact user identifier. The information on the session may further include summary information of the most recently received one message and information on the generation time or reception time of the latest message.

[0068] When a new message of a certain session is received, if the session to which the new message belongs corresponds to a screening identifier other than the currently selected first screening identifier, and the new message does not meet the preset conditions, the information of the session is not displayed in the second display area. If the new message meets the preset conditions, the information of the session to which the new message belongs may be displayed in the second display area. The screening identifier corresponding to the session to which the new message belongs is used as the second screening identifier, and as shown in FIG. 2B, the information 23 of the session to which the new message belongs is displayed in the second display area 22. The information 23 of the session to which the new message belongs includes at least one of the information for characterizing the second screening identifier, the information for characterizing the predetermined conditions met by the message, the summary information of the message, and the information for characterizing the generation time or reception time of the message. Exemplarily, referring to FIG. 2B, the information 23 of the session to which the new message belongs further includes

[0069] an identifier for characterizing the session to which the new message belongs, and the identifier of the session is composed of the contact or group name 230' of the session and the graphic or image identifier 230 of the session,

[0070] the information 232 for characterizing the screening identifier corresponding to the session, the time information (for example, 15:00 shown in FIG. 2B) for characterizing the generation time or reception time of the message, and the summary information of the message (for example, "User C @all: The session tomorrow morning is as follows" shown in FIG. 2B),

[0071] It includes information for characterizing preset conditions that the new message meets. The preset conditions may include, for example, that the new message includes a preset identifier, that the user who sends the new message is a specified contact, that the new message includes a specified keyword. When displaying information about the preset conditions that the new message meets, the preset identifier, the specified contact and / or the keyword included in the new message are displayed. By displaying the above preset condition information, it becomes easier for the user to understand the reason why the message was sent into the current session list. The user can recognize key information, reduce the operation cost, and improve the communication efficiency. As shown in FIG. 2B, the information 23 of the session to which the new message belongs includes a preset identifier "@" 231 for instructing the new message to be sent in a certain direction. For example, the new message is set to be a message for "@all" or a message for "@myself". Also, the information 23 of the session to which the new message belongs includes information for instructing that the screening identifier corresponding to the session is the second screening identifier S2. It includes graphic information 232 for identifying the second screening identifier in FIG. 2B. The graphic information 232 includes, for example, a graphic indicating that the received new message is not notified in real time, specifically, for example, a bell with diagonal lines shown in FIG. 2B. That is, in FIG. 2B, the bell with diagonal lines is used to indicate the second screening identifier S2.

[0072] In related technologies, multiple sessions of a user may be grouped separately. At the same time, the user can select and display a set of sessions. That is, it may not be possible to display the information of the sessions corresponding to each of the multiple session groups, or it may not be possible to display the session information of some session groups on the current display page. There may be messages in the sessions of the session groups that are not displayed and need to be processed in a timely manner. When displaying the information of the sessions of the selected session group, since the messages of the sessions of other session groups cannot be displayed, the messages of other session groups cannot be processed in a timely manner.

[0073] In the information display method provided by this embodiment, at least two session screening identifiers are displayed in the first display area of the message page, and the sessions corresponding to each session screening identifier meet the screening conditions corresponding to the session screening identifier. In the preset display area of the message page, the information of each session corresponding to the first screening identifier is displayed. The first screening identifier is the currently selected screening identifier. In response to the message of the session corresponding to the second screening identifier meeting the preset conditions, the information of the session is displayed in the preset display area. The second screening identifier is another screening identifier other than the first screening identifier. Thereby, messages meeting the preset conditions can be transmitted between different screening identifiers. In a scenario where sessions are grouped according to different screening conditions and the sessions corresponding to the selected grouping are displayed on the message display page, according to this method, messages meeting the preset conditions in screening identifiers that are not currently selected can be displayed in a timely manner. It is possible to avoid the problem that the processing of important messages is delayed due to the failure to display the information of the sessions in other screening identifiers in a timely manner.

[0074] In some selectable embodiments of this example, the method includes at least one of the following: when another new message of the session is received after the message, if the other new message does not meet the preset conditions, maintaining the information of the session displayed in the preset display area without change; or when another new message of the session is received after the message, if the other new message meets the preset conditions, updating the information of the session displayed in the preset display area based on the other new message that meets the preset conditions.

[0075] If the session receives another new message after the message, and the other new message does not meet the preset conditions, the information of the session displayed in the preset display area remains the information of the session corresponding to the message that meets the preset conditions.

[0076] If the session receives another new message after the message, and the new message after the session meets the preset conditions, the information of the session in the preset display area can be updated. The updated information of the session can provide an overview of the other new message, and it is possible to easily determine the time for processing the other new message.

[0077] The information of the session displayed in the preset display area may include a summary of the message that meets the preset conditions, the generation time or reception time of the message that meets the preset conditions.

[0078] In these selectable embodiments, by knowing the occurrence time of the message that meets the preset conditions of the session displayed in the preset display area, the user can determine the time and method for processing the message based on the generation time or reception time of the message.

[0079] Continuing with reference to FIG. 3, a flowchart of some other embodiments of the information display method provided by the present disclosure is shown.

[0080] As shown in FIG. 3, this information display method includes the following steps.

[0081] Step 301: Display at least two session screening identifiers, and for each session corresponding to a session screening identifier, the session satisfies the screening condition corresponding to the session screening identifier.

[0082] Step 302: Display the information of each session corresponding to the first screening identifier in a preset display area of the message page, where the first screening identifier is the currently selected screening identifier.

[0083] Step 303: In response to the message of the session corresponding to the second screening identifier satisfying the preset condition, display the information of the session in the preset display area, where the second screening identifier is a screening identifier other than the first screening identifier.

[0084] The specific implementation manners of the above steps 301 to 303 may be the same as or similar to the specific implementation manners of steps 101 to 103 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, and will not be repeated here.

[0085] Step 304: Maintain the display of the information of the session in the preset display area until the display is cancelled because the information of the session satisfies the preset cancellation condition.

[0086] That is, when no other new messages are received, or when the new messages received later do not satisfy the preset condition, the information of the session that satisfies the above preset condition may continue to be displayed in the preset display area.

[0087] In this embodiment, at least two screening identifiers may be displayed in the first display area. Each screening identifier corresponds to at least one session.

[0088] Information of the session corresponding to the first screening identifier is displayed in the preset display area. The first screening identifier is the currently selected screening identifier. The second screening identifier may be another screening identifier other than the first screening identifier.

[0089] When the message of the session corresponding to the second screening identifier meets the preset conditions, the information of the session is displayed in the preset display area so that the user can timely understand the message.

[0090] In order to avoid the information of the session corresponding to the second screening identifier interfering with the information of the session corresponding to the first screening identifier displayed in the preset display area, after the information of the session meets the preset cancellation conditions, the display of the information of the session in the preset display area is cancelled.

[0091] The preset cancellation conditions include, but are not limited to, any one of the message being processed, the time after the message is processed being longer than the preset time, and receiving a page content switching operation so that the session is not displayed on the current page after the new message is processed.

[0092] The message being processed includes the message being viewed or replied to. Specifically, it is determined whether the message has been viewed by detecting whether the user has performed a viewing operation of reading the message, and it is determined whether the message has been replied to by detecting whether the user has performed a reply operation of replying to the message.

[0093] In some other application scenarios, the preset cancellation condition is that the time after the new message is processed is longer than the preset time. After the time after the new message is processed is longer than the preset time, in the preset display area, the display of the session information may be cancelled. The preset time may be 3 minutes, 5 minutes, etc. By extending the display time after the new message is processed, the user can confirm whether the message has been processed incorrectly.

[0094] In some other application scenarios, the preset cancellation condition is that after the new message is processed, a page content switching operation is received and the session is not displayed on the current page. That is, when the display content switching is executed after the new message is processed, the display of the session information in the preset display area can be cancelled.

[0095] Furthermore, the page content switching operation includes one of scrolling the session feed stream, switching the screening identifier, switching to another page of the instant messaging application, and opening the instant messaging application after closing the instant messaging application for hosting the message page.

[0096] By scrolling the session feed stream, the user can display the information of other sessions. Since the page size is limited, the session rolls out from the display page.

[0097] Switching the screening identifier means that the user selects another screening identifier other than the first screening identifier as the currently selected screening identifier. By switching the screening identifier, the user can display the information of the session corresponding to the currently selected screening identifier switched to the preset display area. Here, in some embodiments, when switching to the second screening identifier, since the session originally belongs to the second screening identifier, the session is normally displayed in the session stream of the second screening identifier. When switching to a screening identifier other than the first screening identifier and the second screening identifier, the session is not displayed. Further, when switching back to the first screening identifier after switching to another screening identifier, the session is no longer displayed in the session stream corresponding to the first screening identifier in the preset display area.

[0098] Switching to another page of the instant messaging application is, for example, selecting other main navigation bar items in the instant messaging application such as a calendar, a document, a mailbox, etc., and displaying the information corresponding to the selected other main navigation bar item. After switching to another page of the instant messaging application, the information of the session is no longer displayed on the page.

[0099] When the message of the session meets the above preset cancellation condition, that is, when the user has already viewed the new message and then tries to process other information, the display of the information of the session in the preset display area can be cancelled, and the interference with the information of the currently selected screening identifier caused by the continuous display of the information of the session in the preset display area can be avoided.

[0100] Compared with the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the information display method provided by this embodiment emphasizes the step of canceling the information of the session to which the message that meets the preset conditions belongs in the preset display area. By the solution provided by this embodiment, the problem of interference caused by the continuous display of the information of the session in the preset display area is avoided.

[0101] In some selectable embodiments, the information display methods of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 and the embodiment shown in FIG. 3 further include the step of displaying at least one message of the session including the message by a preset operation executed by the user to display the information of the session in the preset display area.

[0102] In these selectable embodiments, at least one message of the session may be displayed in the preset display area or a third display area outside the preset display area, and the at least one message includes the message. In this way, the user does not need to switch the screening identifier, and the information of the session can be displayed in the preset display area of the session list originally showing the first screening identifier. The switching operation of the user is reduced.

[0103] Furthermore, optionally, the message is highlighted.

[0104] The above highlighting includes at least one of displaying the style of the message in a style different from the display styles of other messages and the background color of the area where the message is arranged being different from the background colors of other areas.

[0105] The above display styles include text size, text bold display, font, etc.

[0106] By highlighting the message, the user can quickly find the message from a plurality of messages.

[0107] In some selectable embodiments, when there are two or more messages that meet the above preset conditions, the above information display method further includes the step of automatically jumping to the message that meets the next preset condition after processing the message that meets one preset condition.

[0108] After processing a message that meets one preset condition, it further includes the step of automatically jumping to the message that meets the next preset condition.

[0109] The processing of the above message includes, but is not limited to, viewing and replying to the message.

[0110] Automatically jumping to the message that meets the next preset condition includes cursor jumping, highlighting jumping, etc.

[0111] When there are two or more messages that meet the above preset conditions, according to the above selectable embodiments, automatic adjustment between messages that meet different preset conditions is realized, and it becomes easy for the user to quickly view two or more messages that meet the preset conditions.
