Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention
[0012] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following description, as a display device, for example, display devices 1, 101, 201 used for centrally managing the opening and closing states of a plurality of drain valves in a power plant or the like will be described. Note that, although not limited thereto, the display device 1 of the embodiment is a general-purpose display device 1, 101, 201 that is portable and can manage not only drain valves arranged at a specific location but also drain valves arranged at other locations.
[0013] (First Embodiment) FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the display device 1 of the first embodiment. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the assembled state of the display device 1 of the first embodiment. The display device 1 includes a front plate 10 provided with a display window 12, a rear plate 20 arranged in parallel with the front plate 10, a display switching plate 30 arranged between the front plate 10 and the rear plate 20, a slide frame plate 50 that slidably holds the display switching plate 30, and a holding structure 40 that holds the display switching plate 30 at a first position or a second position. In the following description, the side where the front plate 10 of the display device 1 is provided is defined as the front, the side where the rear plate 20 is arranged is defined as the rear, the direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction and in which the display switching plate 30 slides is defined as the lateral direction, and the direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction and the lateral direction is defined as the vertical direction.
[0014] (Front Plate 10) The front plate 10 is a rectangular plate member that is long in the lateral direction, and a plurality of information display areas 11 are provided. In the embodiment, a total of eight information display areas 11 are provided in two rows in the lateral direction and four rows in the vertical direction. Each information display area 11 is a rectangular area that is long in the lateral direction. One area in the lateral direction of the information display area 11 is a target display portion 13, and the other is the display window 12.
[0015] The target display section 13 preferably has a color different from other parts of the front plate 10 selected as the background color. For example, the parts of the front plate 10 other than the target display section 13 are light blue, and for the target display section 13, it is preferable that the background color is white or the like for easy viewing from a distance. And in the case of the embodiment, on the target display section 13, the name or number of the drain valve indicating the state of which drain valve among the plurality of drain valves is, for example, shown in black so as to stand out against the white background. In FIGS. 1 and 2, as an example, the names and numbers of the drain valves such as "1A", "1B", "No.7" etc. are shown.
[0016] The display window 12 is a rectangular opening, but a cutout 14 is provided in a part of the central region of the vertical side on the target display section 13 side, which is recessed toward the target display section 13 side.
[0017] (Rear plate 20) The rear plate 20 is a rectangular plate member that is long in the horizontal direction with the same outer circumference as the front plate 10 and is arranged parallel to the front plate 10. On the rear plate 20, at positions corresponding to each of the display windows 12 of the front plate 10, in the embodiment, a first state display section 21 with the character "closed" written as the first state is provided.
[0018] (Slide frame plate 50) The slide frame plate 50 is a rectangular plate member that is long in the horizontal direction with the same outer circumference as the front plate 10 and is arranged parallel to the front plate 10 and the rear plate 20 between them. On the slide frame plate 50, rectangular openings 51 are provided at positions corresponding to each of the information display areas 11 of the front plate 10.
[0019] (Display switching plate 30) The display switching plate 30 is a rectangular member. The longitudinal length is approximately the same as the length of the rectangular opening 51, and the transverse length is of a size capable of covering the front surface of the first state display section 21. The number of display switching plates 30 is equal to the number of rectangular openings 51 of the slide frame plate 50 and they are respectively arranged within the rectangular openings 51. The display switching plate 30 is slidable horizontally within the rectangular opening 51. On the front surface of the display switching plate 30, in the embodiment, a second state display section 31 with the character "open" written as the second state is provided.
[0020] As shown in FIG. 2, the display switching plate 30 covers the front of the first state display portion 21 and is movable between a first position P1 where the character "open" of the display switching plate 30 can be seen from the display window 12 and a second position P2 where the character "closed" of the rear plate 20 can be seen from the display window 12 after retracting from the front of the first state display portion 21.
[0021] On the right side in the drawing on the front surface of the second state display portion 31, a gripping protrusion 32 protruding forward is provided. By the operator gripping and laterally moving the gripping protrusion 32, the display switching plate 30 can be slid laterally. The provision of the gripping protrusion 32 facilitates the sliding of the display switching plate 30 and improves the operability. The longitudinal and lateral cross-sections of the gripping protrusion 32 are substantially equal to the longitudinal and lateral cross-sections of the notch portion 14 of the front plate 10, and when the display switching plate 30 is in the second position P2, the gripping protrusion 32 is housed in the notch portion 14.
[0022] Also, the longitudinal length A of the rectangular opening 51 of the slide frame plate 50, the longitudinal length B of the display switching plate 30, and the longitudinal length C of the display window 12 of the front plate 10 have a relationship of A≧B>C.
[0023] (Retention structure 40) On the rear side of the first state display portion 21 on the rear plate 20, a first retaining member 41 which is one of a magnet or a magnetic body is arranged. Two of the first retaining member 41, namely a first left retaining member 41L on the left side in the horizontal direction in the drawing and a first right retaining member 41R in the right direction, are respectively arranged on both lateral sides sandwiching the character "closed" of the first state display portion 21. Also, a second retaining member 42 which is a magnet or a magnetic body that can be adsorbed by magnetic force with the first retaining member 41 is embedded on the rear side of the display switching plate 30. The first retaining member 41 and the second retaining member 42 constitute the retention structure 40.
[0024] (Assembly of the display device 1) With the front plate 10 arranged in front of the slide frame plate 50 where the display switching plates 30 are respectively disposed inside the rectangular openings 51, and the rear plate 20 arranged behind, the three plates are bonded together. Then, as shown in FIG. 2, the display device 1 is assembled in a state where the second display portion of the display switching plate 30 or the first state display portion 21 of the rear plate 20 can be seen through the display window 12 of the front plate 10.
[0025] (Operation of the display device 1) When the drain valve is open and the display switching plate 30 is in the second position P2 and the character "closed" of the first state display portion 21 can be seen through the display window 12, the operator slides the gripping projection 32 horizontally to the right side in the drawing. Then, the display switching plate 30 comes to the first position P1, covering the front side of the first state display portion 21 of the rear plate 20, and the character "open" of the second state display portion 31 of the display switching plate 30 can be seen through the display window 12 of the front plate 10. In the drawing, the drain valves 1A, 3A, 2B, No. 7, and No. 9 are in this state, indicating that these drain valves are open. At this time, the second holding member 42 embedded in the rear side of the display switching plate 30 is attracted to the first right holding member 41R side by the magnetic force between it and the first right holding member 41R, so the display switching plate 30 is held at the first position P1.
[0026] When the drain valve is closed and the display switching plate 30 is in the first position P1 and the character "open" of the second state display portion 31 can be seen through the display window 12, the operator slides the gripping projection 32 horizontally to the left side in the drawing. Then, the display switching plate 30 comes to the second position P2, retreating from the front side of the first state display portion 21 of the rear plate 20, and the character "closed" of the first state display portion 21 of the rear plate 20 can be seen through the display window 12 of the front plate 10. In the drawing, the drain valves 2A, No. 8, and 2C are in this state, indicating that these drain valves are closed. At this time, the second holding member 42 embedded in the rear side of the display switching plate 30 portion is attracted to the first left holding member 41L side by the magnetic force between it and the first left holding member 41L, so the display switching plate 30 is held at the second position P2.
[0027] As described above, when the display switching plate 30 is in the first position P1 or the second position P2, it is held in these positions by the holding structure 40 formed by the second holding member 42 and the first holding member 41. Therefore, even when the display device 1 is being carried or when vibration is applied to the display device 1, the display state of the display device 1 is maintained.
[0028] Further, the holding structure 40 also has a biasing function. When the display switching plate 30 is located between the first position P1 and the second position P2, the second holding member 42 embedded in the rear side of the display switching plate 30 is pulled by the greater attractive force between the first left holding member 41L and the first right holding member 41R. Therefore, the display switching plate 30 does not exist at an intermediate position between the first position P1 and the second position P2, and a clear state display of either "open" or "closed" becomes possible. Also, due to this attractive force, when moving the display switching plate 30 between the first position P1 and the second position P2, it is not necessary to slide it all the way to the end of the first position P1 or the second position P2. Even if the display switching plate 30 is released before the first position P1 or the second position P2, it can be moved to either the first position P1 or the second position P2 by this attractive force.
[0029] For example, as a comparison, in the conventional case where magnets describing "open" and "closed" for the opening / closing display of a drain valve were attached to a whiteboard, the magnets might fall off and the opening / closing status might become unclear. However, according to the present embodiment, since the vertical length A of the rectangular opening 51 of the slide frame plate 50, the vertical length B of the display switching plate 30, and the vertical length C of the display window 12 of the front plate 10 have the relationship A≧B>C, the display switching plate 30 does not fall from the front plate 10.
[0030] (Second Embodiment) Next, the display device 101 of the second embodiment will be described. FIG. 3 is a diagram for explaining the display device 101 of the second embodiment, and FIGS. 3(a) to (d) are diagrams for explaining the operation of the display device 101. In the second embodiment, the same parts as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals as in the first embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted. The differences between the display device 101 of the second embodiment and the display device 1 of the first embodiment are as follows.
[0031] (Front plate 10) Similar to the first embodiment, the display window 12 is provided with a notch 114. This notch 114 is provided such that the upper region of the side extending in the vertical direction on the target display section 13 side moves to the left side in the horizontal direction in the drawing to partially expand a rectangle, and is larger than the notch 14 of the first embodiment formed by only the region at the center of the side moving to the left side.
[0032] (Slide frame plate 50) The vertical length of the rectangular opening 151 of the slide frame plate 50 is longer than the vertical length of the rectangular opening 51 of the first embodiment. Further, at the bottom of the rectangular opening 151, as a holding structure 140, two recesses, namely, an exposed-side recess 152 on the right side in the drawing and a retracted-side recess 153 on the left side in the drawing, are provided. The exposed-side recess 152 and the retracted-side recess 153 are of the same shape.
[0033] (Display switching plate 130) The vertical length of the display switching plate 130 is shorter than the vertical length of the rectangular opening 151, and it can move vertically within the rectangular opening 151. On the lower surface of the display switching plate 130, as a holding structure 140, a rectangular engaging convex portion 133 that is substantially the same shape as the exposed-side recess 152 and the retracted-side recess 153 and can engage with the exposed-side recess 152 and the retracted-side recess 153 is provided.
[0034] (Operation of the display device 101 of the second embodiment) The display switching plate 130 can move inside the rectangular opening 51, but does not simply slide horizontally as in the first embodiment. FIG. 3 is a diagram for explaining the case of moving the display switching plate 130 from the second position P2 to the first position P1.
[0035] As shown in FIG. 3(a), when the display switching plate 130 is in the second position P2, the second state display portion 31 retracts from in front of the first state display portion 21, and the character "closed" can be seen from the display window 12. At this time, the engaging convex portion 133 is engaged with the retracting side concave portion 153. By this engagement, the display switching plate 130 is held at the second position P2.
[0036] FIG. 3(b) shows a state where, from the state of FIG. 3(a), the gripping projection 32 is lifted to the upper side and abutted against the upper side of the display window 12 in the direction indicated by the arrow in FIG. 3(a). The display switching plate 130 moves upward, and the engaging convex portion 133 moves above the retracting side concave portion 153 and the engagement is released.
[0037] FIG. 3(c) shows a state where, from the state of FIG. 3(b), the gripping projection 32 is slid to the right along the upper side of the display window 12 and abutted against the right side of the display window 12 in the direction indicated by the arrow in FIG. 3(b). The engaging convex portion 133 passes through the flat portion between the retracting side concave portion 153 and the protruding side concave portion 152 and moves above the protruding side concave portion 152.
[0038] FIG. 3(d) shows a state where, from the state of FIG. 3(c), the gripping projection 32 is slid downward along the right side of the display window 12 in the direction indicated by the arrow in FIG. 3(c). The engaging convex portion 133 engages with the protruding side concave portion 152. By this engagement, the display switching plate 130 is held at the first position P1.
[0039] As described above, in the second embodiment, no magnetic force as in the first embodiment is used, and it can be held by the engagement between the engaging convex portion 133 as the holding structure 140 and the protruding side concave portion 152 and the retracting side concave portion 153. Therefore, even when the display device 101 is, for example, being carried or when vibration is applied to the display device 101, the display state of the display device 101 is maintained.
[0040] (Third Embodiment) Next, the display device 201 of the third embodiment will be described. FIG. 4 is a diagram for explaining the display device 201 of the third embodiment. The display device 201 of the third embodiment is a modification of the second embodiment, and parts identical to those of the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals as in the second embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted.
[0041] The difference between the third embodiment and the second embodiment lies in the holding structure 240. The retracted-side recess 253 and the exposed-side recess 252 as the holding structure 240 are not rectangular recesses as in the second embodiment, but are triangular recesses in a cross section passing through the vertical and horizontal directions. Also, the engaging convex portion 233 is not rectangular, but is a triangular convex portion that can engage with the retracted-side recess 253 and the exposed-side recess 252 in a cross section passing through the vertical and horizontal directions.
[0042] The third embodiment has the same effects as the second embodiment. Further, according to the third embodiment, for example, as shown in FIG. 4, the holding structure 240 also has a biasing function, and when the display switching plate 230 is located between the first position P1 and the second position P2, the display switching plate 230 is in a lifted state. Here, when the operator releases the gripping protrusion 32, the display switching plate 230 slides down along either the slope of the retracted-side recess 253 or the slope of the exposed-side recess 252. Therefore, it does not stay in an intermediate position, and a clear display becomes possible.
