AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Conventional speaker diaphragms made of paper or resin face issues with weather resistance, adhesive strength, and peeling off from the voice coil bobbin, especially under harsh conditions and high input resistance, complicating assembly and increasing manufacturing costs.

Method used

The diaphragm neck portion is designed to protrude backward with a recessed adhesive receiving portion and a gap, filled with adhesive that reaches the lower end, and features a diameter-expanding surface and ribs for enhanced adhesion, ensuring firm attachment to the voice coil bobbin.

Benefits of technology

The design improves adhesive strength, prevents peeling, and maintains firm attachment even under impact, enhancing durability and input resistance, with the adhesive forming a reservoir and uniformly wrapping around the neck and bobbin.

Abstract

The present invention makes adhesion between a voice coil and a bobbin secure and robust, improves input resistance, and prevents a diaphragm from falling from the voice coil bobbin. Provided is a speaker in which a neck portion is formed in a central opening portion of a diaphragm, the neck portion protruding toward the back of the diaphragm. A gap is formed between an outer peripheral surface of a voice coil bobbin and an inner peripheral surface of the neck portion. The upper surface of the neck portion is positioned lower than the front surface of the outer peripheral portion of the diaphragm, and an adhesive receiving portion forming a recess is provided. The adhesive fills the adhesive receiving portion and the gap, and reaches a lower end of the neck portion, whereby the neck portion and the voice coil bobbin are secured to each other.
