Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a padlock that includes a cylinder lock and a dial lock, can be locked by both locks, and can be unlocked by either lock.
Background Art
[0002] For example, in order to prevent unauthorized entry into communication equipment and the like, a padlock is used to lock the door of an outdoor fence. Usually, the on-site staff member uses the assigned unlocking key to lock and unlock it. In case of an emergency, someone other than the on-site staff member needs to go to the site to perform recovery work. However, since they do not carry the key, they have to go to the management office to get the key, resulting in a significant loss of working time. In order to eliminate such a time loss, it is desired to be able to lock and unlock the padlock without a key by transmitting the set number of the dial in case of an emergency. As a padlock that can meet the above requirements, a padlock that includes a cylinder lock and a dial lock, can be locked by both locks, and can be unlocked by either lock is disclosed in Patent Document 1. This padlock is composed of a dial lock incorporated in the lock body, a cylinder lock, and an unlocking key for the cylinder lock. The dial lock includes a plurality of dial rings that are rotatably mounted horizontally below the long leg of the shackle. When the dial rings are arranged in a predetermined unlocking number sequence, the shackle is released and projected upward to unlock. The cylinder lock is located above in the locked state and restrains the short leg of the shackle. When the dial lock is in the locked state, when the cylinder lock is unlocked using the unlocking key, the cylinder plug can be pulled downward, thereby releasing the short leg of the shackle and unlocking the padlock.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] The first problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a simple-structured padlock different from the conventional dial padlock with a cylinder lock, and the second problem is that when the unlocking number sequence of the dial lock is forgotten, only the legitimate lock owner with the unlocking key of the cylinder lock can easily detect the unlocking number sequence. To provide a dial padlock with a cylinder lock.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0005] In the following description, reference is made to the reference numerals in the accompanying drawings, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In order to solve the above-mentioned first problem, the dial safety lock with cylinder lock 1 of the present invention includes a shackle 3 movably incorporated between a lower locking position and an upper unlocking position in a lock body 2, and a dial lock mechanism 4 and a cylinder lock mechanism 5 incorporated adjacent to each other in the lock body so as to restrain or release the shackle 3 in the locking position. The dial lock mechanism 4 includes a plurality of cord rings 6 rotatably fitted around an axis and non-movable in the axial direction to one leg 3a of the shackle 3 inserted vertically movably between the locking position and the unlocking position in the lock body 2, and a plurality of dial rings 7 rotatably fitted around an axis integrally with the respective cord rings 6 on the outer peripheral side of the cord rings 6, relatively movable in the axial direction, and each having numbers 7a circumferentially equally spaced on the outer periphery. The cord ring 6 includes an upper small-diameter portion 6a and a lower large-diameter portion 6b, has a vertical escape groove 6c with a groove bottom continuous with the small-diameter portion 6a in a part of the large-diameter portion 6a, and engages with the dial ring 7 in the circumferential direction around the axis and is fitted relatively movably in the axial direction in the large-diameter portion 6b. When the numbers 7a of the plurality of dial rings 7 are arranged in a predetermined unlocking number sequence, the escape grooves 6c of the plurality of cord rings 6 are in an unlocked state continuous in the vertical direction on the cylinder lock mechanism 5 side, and are provided so that the escape grooves are discontinuous in the vertical direction in a locked state arranged in other number sequences. The cylinder lock mechanism 5 includes a cylinder lock 9 and a stopper member 11 movable left and right between a locking position approaching the cord ring 6 in conjunction with a rotor 9a thereof and an unlocking position away from the cord ring 6. The stopper member 11 includes a plurality of stopper protrusions 11b extending toward the small-diameter portion 6a of each cord ring 6. The stopper protrusion 11b prevents the shackle 3 from rising when the dial lock mechanism 4 is in the locked state by the tip being close to the outer periphery of the small-diameter portion 6a of the cord ring 6 in the locking position, allows the shackle 3 to rise corresponding to the continuous escape groove 6c when the dial lock mechanism 4 is in the unlocked state, and is provided so as to allow the shackle 3 to rise regardless of the locking and unlocking positions of the dial lock mechanism 4 by the tip being located outside the large-diameter portion 6b of the cord ring 6 in the unlocking position. To solve the above-mentioned second problem, the dial combination lock cylinder lock 1 of the present invention further includes a search key 13 that can be inserted and removed vertically in a continuous relief groove 6c on the cylinder lock mechanism side when the dial lock mechanism 4 is in the unlocked state. The lock body 2 further includes an insertion portion 2a through which the search key 13 can be inserted and removed vertically into the relief groove 6c from below. The search key 13 is configured to be able to detect the unlocking number sequence by being inserted into the insertion portion 2a of the lock body 2 and penetrating through the relief groove 6c while rotating sequentially upward from the lower dial ring 7 to search for the unlocking number sequence only when the cylinder lock mechanism 5 is in the unlocked state.
Advantages of the Invention
[0006] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a combination lock cylinder lock with a simple structure different from the conventional one. Further, according to the present invention, when the unlocking number sequence of the dial lock is forgotten, it is possible to provide a dial combination lock cylinder lock that only the legitimate owner of the lock, who has the unlocking key of the cylinder lock, can easily detect the unlocking number sequence and quickly resume use.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention
[0008] Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In FIGS. 1 and 2, the dial lock Nanjing lock 1 with a cylinder lock includes a shackle 3, a dial lock mechanism 4, and a cylinder lock mechanism 5 incorporated in a lock body 2.
[0009] The shackle 3 is generally in an inverted J shape, having one long leg portion 3a and the other short leg portion 3b, and is incorporated in the lock body 2 so as to be movable between a lower locking position (FIG. 2a) and an upper unlocking position (FIG. 2b).
[0010] The dial lock mechanism 4 and the cylinder lock mechanism 5 are incorporated in the lock body 2 adjacent to each other left and right so as to cooperate to restrain or release the shackle 3 at the locking position (FIG. 2a).
[0011] The dial lock mechanism 4 includes a plurality of code rings 6 fitted into the long leg portion 3a of the shackle 3 and a dial ring 7.
[0012] The long leg portion 3a of the shackle 3 is inserted into the lock body 2 so as to be movable up and down between the locking position (FIG. 2a) and the unlocking position (FIG. 2b), and is biased upward by a spring 8.
[0013] The plurality of code rings 6 are respectively fitted into the long leg portion 2a of the shackle 3 so as to be rotatable around the axis and non-movable in the axial direction.
[0014] The dial ring 7 is fitted on the outer peripheral side of each code ring 6, and is held in the lock body 2 integrally with the code ring 6 so as to be rotatable around the axis, and numbers 7a are provided at equal intervals in the circumferential direction on the outer periphery thereof.
[0015] The code ring 6 includes an upper small-diameter portion 6a and a lower large-diameter portion 6b, and a vertical relief groove 6c is provided in a part of the large-diameter portion 6a. The groove bottom of the relief groove 6c is continuous with the small-diameter portion 6a. The code ring 6 is spline-coupled with the dial ring 7 at the large-diameter portion 6b, and is engaged with each other in the circumferential direction around the axis and fitted so as to be relatively movable in the axial direction.
[0016] When the display number sequence exposed from the number display window of the lock body 2 aligns with the predetermined unlocking number sequence, all the relief grooves 6c of the code rings 6 are continuous in the vertical direction at positions facing the cylinder lock mechanism 5, and the lock is in the unlocked state. When the display number sequence aligns with another number sequence, i.e., the locking number sequence, the lock is in the locked state. The dial ring 7 is provided with a click feeling and rotational resistance for each rotation angle corresponding to the number 7a by a detent spring 12 incorporated in the lock body 2.
[0017] The cylinder lock mechanism 5 includes a cylinder lock 9, a drive cam 10, and a stopper member 11.
[0018] The stopper member 11 includes a passive portion 11a extending in the left - right direction and a plurality of stopper protrusions 11b branching in the vertical direction on the left - end side of the passive portion 11a and each protruding leftward.
[0019] The passive portion 11a is coupled to a drive cam 10 that rotates forward and backward in conjunction with the rotor 9a of the cylinder lock 9. Thereby, the stopper member 11 is movable left - right between a left - hand locking position (Fig. 2a) and a right - hand unlocking position (Fig. 2b).
[0020] The stopper protrusions 11b extend toward the small - diameter portion 6b of each code ring 6. When the stopper protrusions 11b are in the left - hand locking position (Figs. 2a, 3), their tips are close to the code rings 6. Therefore, when the dial lock mechanism 4 is in the locked state, the stopper protrusions 11b contact the large - diameter portion 6a to prevent the shackle 3 from rising. Also, when the dial lock mechanism 4 is in the unlocked state, even if the cylinder lock mechanism 5 is in the locked state, the stopper protrusions 11b correspond to the vertically continuous relief grooves 6c to allow the shackle 3 to rise. Further, the stopper protrusions 11b allow the shackle 3 to rise regardless of the locking / unlocking position of the dial lock mechanism 5 by having their tips located outside the large - diameter portion 6a of the code ring 6 at the unlocking position.
[0021] The dial safe with cylinder lock 1 further includes a search key 13 that is inserted into the insertion portion 2a of the lock body 2 to search for the unlocking number sequence of the dial ring 7 when the user forgets it, etc. The insertion portion 2a is provided at a position in front of the tip of the stopper projection 11b of the lock body 2.
[0022] As shown in FIG. 4, when the dial lock mechanism 11 is in the unlocked state, the search key 13 can be inserted and removed vertically through the insertion portion 2a into the relief groove 6c that is continuous vertically at the position corresponding to the tip of the stopper projection 11b.
[0023] Therefore, only when the cylinder lock mechanism 5 is in the unlocked state, while inserting the search key 13 into the insertion portion 2a of the lock body 2 and rotating it sequentially upward from the lower dial ring 7 to search for the unlocking number sequence, and passing it through the relief groove 6c, the unlocking number sequence can be detected. That is, the detection of the unlocking number sequence can only be performed by the legitimate administrator who has the unlocking / locking key 14 of the cylinder lock 9.
[0024] The usage method of the dial safe with cylinder lock 1 will be described. Locking is performed by pressing down the shackle 3 and using the unlocking / locking key 14 to lock the cylinder lock 9 and setting the number sequence of the dial ring 7 as the locking number sequence. In this locked state, as shown in FIG. 3, the tip of the stopper projection 11b approaches the small-diameter portion 6a of the code ring 6, and the relief grooves 6c are not aligned. The upward movement of the large-diameter portion 6b is blocked by the stopper projection 11b, and therefore, the shackle 3 is held at the lower locked position.
[0025] Unlocking is performed either by using the unlocking key 13 to unlock the cylinder lock 9 or by setting the dial ring 7 to the unlocking number sequence. That is, even if the dial ring 7 is set to the locking number sequence, when the cylinder lock 9 is unlocked, the stopper member 11 retracts to the unlocking position, and the tip of the stopper projection 11b is positioned outside the outer circumference of the large-diameter portion 6b of the cord ring 6. Therefore, the cord ring 6 is released and pushed upward to the unlocking position by the spring 8 together with the shackle 3. Also, even if the cylinder lock 9 is locked, if the dial ring 7 is arranged in the unlocking number sequence, since the relief groove 6c of the cord ring 6 is continuous in the vertical direction at the position facing the stopper projection 11b, the cord ring 6 is similarly released and pushed upward to the unlocking position by the spring 8 together with the shackle 3.
[0026] For example, when using a combination lock on the gate of a fence for outdoor communication equipment of a mobile phone base station, etc., when an administrator other than the on-site staff who has the unlocking key needs to perform a recovery operation on-site, since they do not carry the unlocking key, they need to go to the management office, etc. to get it, resulting in a large loss of working time. In contrast, when using the dial combination lock with cylinder lock 1 of the present invention, in case of an emergency, if the unlocking number sequence of the dial lock is communicated, it can be unlocked and locked without the unlocking key 14 of the cylinder lock 9, eliminating time loss.
