Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention
[0020] Hereinafter, as an embodiment of the food packaging bag according to the present invention, a food packaging bag used for packaging a sandwich will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 8.
[0021] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment includes a bag body 10 and a header portion 15. The bag body 10 is formed by overlapping and joining a pair of sheets (a first sheet 2 and a second sheet 3). The first sheet 2 is also referred to as a front sheet, and the second sheet 3 is also referred to as a back sheet. The pair of sheets has a shape in which one direction orthogonal to each other is longer than the other, and has a shape in which the other end side is wider than the one end side. The bag body 10 is joined and sealed on three sides by a top joining portion 11 on one end side and side joining portions 12, 12 on both side portions, and the other end side becomes an opening 13. The header portion 15 is formed by joining and integrating the protruding pieces of the sheets 2 and 3 protruding from the top joining portion 11 at appropriate positions. Hereinafter, the one side (in FIGS. 2 and 3, the vertical direction) is referred to as the "longitudinal direction" or "first direction", and the other side (in FIGS. 2 and 3, the horizontal direction) is referred to as the "width direction" or "second direction".
[0022] As shown in FIG. 4, the first sheet 2 includes a body portion 20 and a tip portion 21 (the protruding piece). The body portion 20 has a shape that gradually widens from one end side to the other end side. The tip portion 21 has a narrow shape extending from one end of the body portion 20.
[0023] The first sheet 2 is divided into three regions, a central portion 22 and two side portions 23, 23, by two boundary lines B, B that are parallel along the longitudinal direction and spaced apart in the width direction. The central portion 22 is divided into the central portion of the body portion 20 and the tip portion 21. The side portion 23 is divided into the side portion of the body portion 20.
[0024] The first sheet 2 is formed by overlapping the side edges of three sheets (a central sheet 24 and two side sheets 25, 25) (overlapping portion 26), and joining the overlapping portion 26 by heat sealing (joint portion 27) to form one sheet. In the overlapping portion 26, the side edge of the side sheet 25 is disposed on the outer surface side of the side edge of the central sheet 24, and the side edge of the central sheet 24 and the side edge of the side sheet 25 are overlapped so that the outer surface of the side edge of the central sheet 24 and the inner surface of the side edge of the side sheet 25 face each other.
[0025] The joint portion 27 is formed by heat-sealing the overlapping portion 26 over the entire length along the side edges of the central sheet 24 and the side edges of the side sheets 25. In the present embodiment, the joint portion 27 is formed by welding using a heat-sealing bar and is a strip seal having a predetermined width. The width of the joint portion 27 is narrower than the width of the overlapping portion 26. As a result, among the side edge portions of the central sheet 24, the portion beyond the joint portion 27 and among the side edge portions of the side sheet 25, the portion beyond the joint portion 27 are free ends. In the present embodiment, the joint portion 27 has a width of about 2 mm to 20 mm, and the free ends have a width of about 0 mm to 5 mm.
[0026] The central portion 22 corresponds to the portion of the central sheet 24 excluding the left and right overlapping portions 26, 26. The side portions 23 correspond to the side sheets 25. Thereby, in the first sheet 2, the central portion 22 becomes a transparent portion where the inside can be visually recognized, and the left and right side portions 23, 23 become opaque (or translucent) portions.
[0027] Here, the interval WB (width of the central portion 22) between the two boundary lines B, B is smaller than the width W11 of the top joint portion 11 (the length of the inner edge of the top joint portion 11 with the intersection points of the inner edges of the side joint portions 12 as both end points (see FIG. 2), which corresponds to the width of the accommodating portion of the food package 6 or the width of the sandwich 5 to be described later (see FIG. 8)). More specifically, the width WB is 35% or more, or 45% or more of the width W11, and 97% or less, or 90% or less.
[0028] Also, the interval W27a between the inner edges of the two joint portions 27, 27 is smaller than the width W11 of the top joint portion 11, and the interval W27b between the outer edges of the two joint portions 27, 27 is larger than the width W11 of the top joint portion 11 (W27a < W11 < W27b). As a result, the perpendicular line passing through the end points of the inner edge of the top joint portion 11 is parallel to the inner edge and the outer edge of the joint portion 27 and passes between the inner edge and the outer edge of the joint portion 27.
[0029] As shown in FIG. 5, the second sheet 3 includes a body portion 30 and a tip portion 31 (the protruding piece). The body portion 30 has a shape that gradually widens from one end side to the other end side. The tip portion 31 has a narrow shape extending from one end of the body portion 30.
[0030] Any one of the sheets made of different materials listed below is selectively used for each of the sheets 24, 25, and 3.
[0031] <Plastic sheet> The sheet is a plastic sheet (film) having heat weldability such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), etc. As an example, the sheet is a biaxially stretched polypropylene (OPP) sheet (film) or an unstretched polypropylene (CPP) sheet (film). Alternatively, the sheet is a laminated sheet (film). As one form of the laminated sheet (film), the sheet is formed by laminating a base material layer, an adhesive layer, and a resin layer in order from the outer surface side. As the base material layer, resins such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polypropylene (PP), and polyethylene (PE) are used. As the adhesive layer, dry lamination, extrusion lamination, etc. are used. As the resin layer, resins such as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) are used. Note that the polypropylene sheet (film) includes not only a polypropylene sheet (film) with a purity of 100%, but also a sheet (film) containing polypropylene as the main component and other components (for example, other resin components such as polyethylene). Note that the "sheet" is not defined by thickness and is a concept including a film (the same applies hereinafter).
[0032] <Paper sheet> The sheet is made of paper, unbleached kraft paper, Japanese paper, mixed paper, synthetic paper, glassine paper, paper-like or paper-like materials (collectively referred to as "paper"), or a sheet (film) mainly composed of these (collectively referred to as "paper sheet" (film)). The paper may be paper containing bio-based polyethylene terephthalate (bio-based PET, so-called bio-PET). The sheet may have heat-sealability on the inner surface side, either entirely or partially at necessary locations, as required. For example, the sheet is a laminated sheet (film) formed by laminating a paper outer layer and a plastic sheet (film) inner layer. As one form of the laminated sheet (film), the sheet is formed by laminating a base material layer, an adhesive layer, and a resin layer in order from the outer surface side. Paper is used as the base material layer. Dry lamination, extrusion lamination, etc. are used as the adhesive layer. Resins such as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) are used as the resin layer. As an example, the base material layer is paper with a basis weight of about 12 g / m 2 or about 15 g / m 2 and the adhesive layer is dry lamination, and the resin layer is biaxially oriented polypropylene (OPP).
[0033] <Cellophane sheet> The sheet is made of ordinary cellophane, moisture-proof cellophane, cellophane-like or cellophane-like materials (collectively referred to as "cellophane"), or a sheet (film) mainly composed of these (collectively referred to as "cellophane sheet" (film)). The sheet may have heat-sealability on the inner surface side, either entirely or partially at necessary locations, as required. For example, the sheet is a laminated sheet (film) formed by laminating a cellophane outer layer and a plastic sheet (film) inner layer. As one form of the laminated sheet (film), the sheet is formed by laminating a base material layer, an adhesive layer, and a resin layer in order from the outer surface side. Cellophane is used as the base material layer. Dry lamination, extrusion lamination, etc. are used as the adhesive layer. Resins such as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) are used as the resin layer. As an example, the base material layer is ordinary cellophane or moisture-proof cellophane, the adhesive layer is dry lamination, and the resin layer is biaxially oriented polypropylene (OPP).
[0034] <Combination> Patterns related to the combination of the materials of the sheets are, for example, as follows. [Table 1]
[0035] In addition, these patterns include a pattern in which the lower end portion (the portion on the opening 13 side) of the second sheet 3 is a plastic sheet. As described above, the lower end portion of the second sheet 3 is the portion that is first folded when packaging the sandwich 5 (see Fig. 6(c)). Since the lower end portion of this second sheet 3 is a plastic sheet that is softer and / or less likely to curl compared to a paper sheet or a cellophane sheet, it can be folded neatly, and thus the opening 13 can be surely and neatly closed.
[0036] As shown in Figs. 1 to 3, in the present embodiment, the body portions 20, 30 are trapezoidal, and the tip portions 21, 31 are rectangular. For this reason, one end of the body portions 20, 30 (and the other end of the tip portions 21, 31 that coincides with this) is linear and orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. In other words, one end of the body portions 20, 30 is linear and parallel to the width direction. Both side edges of the body portions 20, 30 are linear and inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction. Both side edges of the tip portions 21, 31 are also linear and inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction. However, both side edges of the tip portions 21, 31 may be linear and parallel to the longitudinal direction. In addition, the other end side of both side edges of the body portions 20, 30 is missing due to the notch 14. As a result, the other end side of the body portions 20, 30 is made narrower by the amount of the notch 14.
[0037] The top joint portion 11 is formed by heat-sealing the first and second sheets 2, 3 along one end of the body portions 20, 30. In the present embodiment, the top joint portion 11 is formed by welding using a heat-sealing bar and is a strip seal having a predetermined width.
[0038] The side joint 12 is formed by heat-sealing the first and second sheets 2 and 3 along the side edges (hypotenuses) of the body portions 20 and 30 and the side edges (hypotenuses or vertical sides) of the tip portions 21 and 31. In the present embodiment, the side joint 12 is formed by welding using a heat-sealing bar and is a strip seal having a predetermined width. The width of the side joint 12 is smaller than the width of the top joint 11. Specifically, the side joint 12 has a width of about 2 mm to 5 mm.
[0039] The inside of the bag body 10 configured in this way serves as a food storage portion. An inner sheet 4 is adhered to the inner surface of the first sheet 2 (the central sheet 24 thereof) in the bag body 10. The width W4 of the inner sheet 4 is smaller than the distance W27a between the inner edges of the two joints 27 and 27. Thereby, the inner sheet 4 is arranged such that its side edges 4a and 4a are inside the left and right joints 27 and 27 without covering the left and right joints 27 and 27. The inner sheet 4 is joined by heat-sealing at the location of the top joint 11 and forms a free end inside the storage portion. Thus, even if the food moves inside the storage portion, the inner sheet 4 adheres to the surface of the food and follows its movement. For this reason, the first sheet 2 (the central sheet 24 thereof) does not get dirty and its appearance is not impaired.
[0040] A cut line 32 is formed in the second sheet 3 in the header portion 15. And, an opening piece 33 is formed in the second sheet 3 in the header portion 15 by forming the cut line 32. The opening piece 33 has the cut line 32 as its outer contour line, the portion between both end points as its fixed end, and one end side as its free end. In the present embodiment, the cut line 32 is formed in an inverted U shape. Thereby, the opening piece 33 becomes an upward tongue piece.
[0041] The second sheet 3 is provided with an opening strip 34 as an opening means. The opening strip 34 is provided on the inner surface of the second sheet 3 from the opening piece 33 to the other end side of the second sheet 3. The opening strip 34 is provided, for example, along the longitudinal direction at the center in the width direction of the second sheet 3. The opening strip 34 is joined to the inner surface of the second sheet 3 by heat sealing, adhesion, or the like. As an example, the opening strip 34 is joined to the inner surface of the second sheet 3 by heat adhesion or self - adhesion after applying a coating agent to this inner surface (the surface facing the second sheet 3). The opening strip 34 is, for example, a cut tape, a thread, or the like. In the present embodiment, the opening strip 34 is a strip - shaped cut tape having a width of 5 mm or more, or 10 mm or more. The cut tape is obtained by thinly cutting a plastic sheet having heat - weldability such as biaxially stretched polyester or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), biaxially stretched polypropylene (OPP), or the like.
[0042] The food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment has the above - described configuration. Next, a method for packaging food using this food packaging bag 1 will be described.
[0043] First, as shown in Fig. 6(a), air at a predetermined pressure is blown into the bag body 10 from the opening 13 by a blower (not shown), or the opening 13 side of the first sheet 2 is sucked and lifted by a suction head (not shown) or the like, so that the opening 13 is opened. Then, in this state, the sandwich 5 is inserted into the bag body 10.
[0044] When the sandwich 5 is accommodated in the bag body 10, as shown in Fig. (b), the opening shape of the opening 13 becomes a rectangular shape. The portions straddling the side - part joining portions 12 of the first sheet 2 and the second sheet 3 become a pair of opposing triangular side - faces. The middle part of the first sheet 2 becomes a rectangular front - face part. The middle part of the second sheet 3 becomes a rectangular back - face part.
[0045] After the sandwich 5 is housed in the bag body 10, as shown in Fig. (c) of the same drawing, first, among the extra sheet pieces of the opening 13 (the sheet pieces protruding from the bottom surface of the sandwich 5), the sheet piece of the second sheet 3 (the sheet piece on the back surface portion) is folded so as to cover the bottom surface of the sandwich 5. Next, as shown in Fig. 7(a), either one of the left and right sheet pieces (the sheet piece on one side surface portion) is folded so as to overlap on the second sheet 3 folded previously. Next, as shown in Fig. (b) of the same drawing, the other sheet piece of the left and right (the sheet piece on the other side surface portion) is folded so as to overlap on the second sheet 3 folded previously as well. Next, as shown in Fig. (c) of the same drawing, the remaining sheet piece of the first sheet 2 (the sheet piece on the front surface portion) is folded so as to overlap on the left and right sheet pieces folded previously. Thereby, the opening 13 of the food packaging bag 1 is closed.
[0046] However, first, the sheet piece on the front surface portion may be folded, next, the sheet piece on the side surface portion may be folded, and finally, the sheet piece on the back surface portion may be folded, or first, either one of the sheet pieces on the back surface portion or the front surface portion may be folded, next, the other of the sheet pieces on the back surface portion or the front surface portion may be folded, and finally, the sheet piece on the side surface portion may be folded, or first, the sheet piece on the side surface portion may be folded, next, either one of the sheet pieces on the back surface portion or the front surface portion may be folded, and finally, the other of the sheet pieces on the back surface portion or the front surface portion may be folded, etc. The order of folding the four sheet pieces is not particularly limited.
[0047] When the opening 13 is closed, the tape 7 is adhered and the opening 13 is sealed. Alternatively, a label may be adhered, or a predetermined portion where the sheet pieces are folded and overlapped may be joined by heat sealing or the like so that the opening 13 is sealed.
[0048] Through the above steps, as shown in Fig. 8(a), the food package 6 is completed. The food package 6 is maintained in an airtight state by the top joint 11, the side joints 12, 12, and the closing part (bottom surface part) of the sealed opening 13. Therefore, outside air or the like does not enter the interior, and the packaged sandwich 5 maintains its intended quality.
[0049] Here, as also shown in Fig. 8(b), in the state where the food package 6 is formed, the side part 6a2, the side surface part 6b, and the back surface part 6c of the front part 6a of the food package 6 are composed of the left and right side sheets 25, 25 (the left and right sides 23, 23) and the second sheet 3. The main part 6a1 of the front part 6a of the food package 6 excluding the side part 6a2 is composed of the central sheet 24 (the central part 22).
[0050] Then, the left and right corner parts on the back side of the sandwich 5 are covered by the folded parts of the second sheet 3, and the left and right corner parts on the front side of the sandwich 5 are covered by the folded parts of the left and right side sheets 25, 25 of the first sheet 2. That is, in the food package 6, four angular column parts extending along the sides of the corners of the sandwich 5 are formed at the four corners of the sandwich 5.
[0051] When eating the sandwich 5, the unsealing piece 33 is picked and pulled down. The unsealing piece 33 is joined to one end of the unsealing strip 34. Therefore, when the unsealing piece 33 is picked and pulled down, the unsealing strip 34 is pulled, the second sheet 3 is broken along both side edges of the unsealing strip 34, and a divided opening part is formed in the second sheet 3. The sandwich 5 can be taken out from this divided opening part.
[0052] As described above, according to the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment, a paper sheet or a cellophane sheet is used for a part of the sheets 2 and 3. Therefore, according to the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment, the amount of plastic used can be reduced. In recent years, waste plastic has become a global environmental problem, but according to the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment, it provides an effective countermeasure against this environmental problem.
[0053] In addition, compared with a plastic sheet, the paper sheet and the cellophane sheet have higher rigidity. As a result, the sheets 2 and 3 are given firmness, and in the state where the food package 6 is formed, there is an effect that the self-standing property is improved. Further, due to the firmness of the sheets 2 and 3, the rigidity of the food package 6 is improved. Therefore, according to the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment, the effect of preventing the sandwich 5 from losing its shape is high.
[0054] Moreover, according to the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment, in the state where the food package 6 is formed, four angled column portions made of a paper sheet or a cellophane sheet that extend along the sides of the four corners of the sandwich 5 can be formed at the four corners of the food package 6 facing the four corners of the sandwich 5 (in the cross section). In this case, the food package 6 has high rigidity in the vertical direction. In the process of distributing the product, the food package 6 is stacked not only in the horizontal direction but also vertically in the transport tray so as to receive a triangular space. In the case of a conventional food package composed only of a plastic sheet, since the rigidity in the vertical direction is low, a vertical compressive force acts on the sandwich due to the stacking of the food packages, and the sandwich may be crushed. However, according to the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment, the food package 6 has high rigidity in the vertical direction, and it is possible to preferably prevent the sandwich from being crushed.
[0055] In addition, compared with a plastic sheet, the paper sheet and the cellophane sheet are more likely to have creases. For this reason, when the angled column portion is a paper sheet or a cellophane sheet, on each side of the food package 6, the sheet 2 bends sharply, and the food package 6 exhibits a sharp appearance shape. Therefore, according to the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment, in the state where the food package 6 is formed, there is an effect that the appearance is excellent and the stability, and thus the self-standing property, is excellent.
[0056] Moreover, according to the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment, when the sandwich 5 is packaged, an operation of folding the extra sheet piece at the opening 13 to close the opening 13 is performed (see FIGS. 6(c) and 7(a) to (c)). However, all of the four extra sheet pieces around the opening 13 contain a paper sheet or a cellophane sheet, and are prone to forming folds. In the case of a conventional food packaging bag composed only of a plastic sheet, due to the elastic repulsive force of the sheet, the extra sheet piece may try to return even when folded, and the closing operation may not be smoothly performed. However, according to the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment, the folded extra sheet piece is difficult to return, and the closing operation of the opening 13 can be smoothly performed.
[0057] Also, according to the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment, the side joint 12 is formed in a strip shape with a predetermined width along the side edge of the bag body 10 and the side edge of the header portion 15. As a result, in the state of the food package 6, as shown in FIG. 8, the side joint 12 will be in a state of falling backward later. Then, since columns are formed on both sides of the header portion 15, it will be in an upright state. Moreover, the header portion 15 is in a flat state extending straight from the front portion of the bag body 10. Therefore, according to the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment, in the state of the food package 6, the appearance can be improved, and in the state of being displayed in a store such as a convenience store, the display on the header portion 15 can be easily visually recognized.
[0058] Next, the manufacturing method of the food packaging bag 1 according to the present embodiment will be described. There are two main manufacturing methods.
[0059] <The First Manufacturing Method> The first manufacturing method is shown in FIGS. 9 to 15. The first manufacturing method is i) As shown in FIGS. 9 to 13, a step of creating a tube that is a part in the circumferential direction having a predetermined width and is flattened so that a part in the circumferential direction is located at the center of one surface. ii) As shown in FIG. 13, a step of forming a joint portion to be the top joint portion 11 in a strip shape along the width direction of the tube; iii) As shown in FIG. 14, a step of forming a joint portion to be the side joint portion 12 in a strip shape obliquely with respect to the side edge of the tube; iv) As shown in FIG. 15, a step of cutting the tube in the width direction at the tip position of the portion to be the header portion 15; v) As shown in FIG. 15, a step of cutting the tube obliquely along the intermediate position in the width direction of the joint portion to be the side joint portion 12. The first manufacturing method further includes vi) As shown in FIG. 15, a step of forming the notch portion 14.
[0060] Step i) includes i-i) As shown in FIG. 9, a step of attaching the unsealing strip 34 along the longitudinal direction of the sheet web to the inner surface of the main sheet web 2, 3X; i-ii) As shown in FIG. 9, a step of forming the cutting lines 32 at a fixed pitch along the longitudinal direction of the sheet web with respect to the unsealing strip 34; i-iii) As shown in FIGS. 10 and 11 or FIG. 12, a step of conveying the strip-shaped central sheet web 24X and the main sheet web 2, 3X along the longitudinal direction of the sheet web; i-iv) As shown in FIG. 11 or FIG. 12, a step of overlapping the side edge portion of the central sheet web 24X and the side edge portion of the main sheet web 2, 3X; i-v) As shown in FIG. 13, a step of forming the joint portion 27 along the longitudinal direction of the sheet web at the overlapping portion. Step i-iii) further includes i-iii-i) As shown in FIG. 11 or FIG. 12, a step of conveying the inner sheet web 4X along the longitudinal direction of the sheet web so as to be along the inner surface of the central sheet web 24X.
[0061] In steps i-iii) and steps i-iv), as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, after folding both side portions of the main sheet blanks 2, 3X inward, the central sheet blank 24X (and the inner sheet blank 4X) may be inserted between the both side portions. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 12, after feeding and conveying the central sheet blank 24X (and the inner sheet blank 4X) to the central portion in the width direction of the main sheet blanks 2, 3X, both side portions of the main sheet blanks 2, 3X may be folded inward. In either case, among the main sheet blanks 2, 3X, the both side portions to be folded become the side sheet blanks 25X, 25X, and the central portion not to be folded becomes the second sheet blank 3X.
[0062] Steps ii) to vi) can be appropriately changed in order within the range where production is possible. Further, steps i) to v) may be performed by continuously conveying the sheet blanks or by intermittently conveying them.
[0063] Thus, according to the first manufacturing method, although both side portions of the tube are cut off in a triangular shape and this becomes a loss, the longitudinal direction (feeding direction) of the second sheet blank 3X and the direction of the opening strip 34 coincide. For this reason, in the food packaging bag 1, the opening strip 34 coincides with the tearing directionality of the second sheet 3. Therefore, according to the food packaging bag 1 manufactured by the first manufacturing direction, the opening property can be improved.
[0064] <Second Manufacturing Method> The second manufacturing method is shown in FIGS. 16 to 22. The second manufacturing method is i) As shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, a step of creating the first sheet blank 2X, and ii) As shown in FIG. 18, a step of creating the second sheet blank 3X, and iii) As shown in FIG. 19, while inserting the inner sheet 4 at a fixed pitch along the longitudinal direction of the sheet blanks between the first sheet blank 2X and the second sheet blank 3X, a step of overlapping the first sheet blank 2X and the second sheet blank 3X. iv) As shown in FIG. 20, a step of forming, in a strip shape along the longitudinal direction of the sheet stock and in a staggered pattern in the longitudinal direction of the sheet stock, a joint portion that will become the top joint portion 11 on the overlapped sheets; v) As shown in FIG. 21, a step of forming, in a strip shape obliquely with respect to the width direction of the sheet stock and in a staggered pattern in the longitudinal direction of the sheet stock, a joint portion that will become the side joint portion 12 on the overlapped sheets; vi) As shown in FIG. 22, a step of obliquely cutting the overlapped sheets along the intermediate position in the width direction of the joint portion that will become the side joint portion 12. Furthermore, the second manufacturing method includes: vii) As shown in FIG. 22, a step of forming the notch portion 14.
[0065] Step i) is, as shown in FIG. 16: i-i) A step of alternately supplying, in the width direction of the sheet, a sheet that will become the central portion sheet 24 and a sheet that will become the side portion sheet 25; i-ii) A step of overlapping the side edge portion of the sheet that will become the central portion sheet 24 and the side edge portion of the sheet that will become the side portion sheet 25; i-iii) A step of forming a joint portion 27 along the longitudinal direction of the sheet at the overlapping portion.
[0066] Alternatively, step i) is, as shown in FIG. 17: i-i) A step of supplying, on the outer surface of the central portion sheet stock 24X, at a fixed pitch along the width direction of the sheet stock and along the longitudinal direction of the sheet stock, a sheet that will become the side portion sheet 25; i-ii) A step of forming a joint portion 27 along the longitudinal direction of the sheet at the overlapping portion of the side edge portions of the central portion sheet stock 24X and the sheet that will become the side portion sheet 25. Note that the food packaging bag 1 manufactured through the steps of FIG. 17 has the form shown in FIG. 23.
[0067] Step ii) is, as shown in FIG. 18: ii-i) A step of attaching, on the inner surface of the second sheet stock 3X, at a fixed pitch along the width direction of the sheet stock and along the longitudinal direction of the sheet stock, the opening strip 34. ii-ii) forming the cut lines 32 in a staggered pattern in the longitudinal direction of the sheet web with respect to the opening strip 34.
[0068] Steps iv) to vii) can be appropriately changed in order within the range where manufacturing is possible. Also, steps i) to vi) may be performed by continuously conveying the sheet web or by intermittently conveying it.
[0069] Thus, according to the second manufacturing method, the food packaging bag 1 having a trapezoidal shape is manufactured such that it is horizontal with respect to the longitudinal direction of the sheet web and the orientations are alternately opposite. For this reason, the loss of the sheet can be eliminated or reduced.
[0070] Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications are possible without departing from the gist of the present invention.
[0071] Also, in the above-described embodiment, the interval W27a between the inner edges of the two joining portions 27, 27 is smaller than the width W11 of the top joining portion 11, and the interval W27b between the outer edges of the two joining portions 27, 27 is larger than the width W11 of the top joining portion 11 (W27a < W11 < W27b). Thereby, the joining portion 27 is bent so as to form an angled column portion (see FIG. 8). However, the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, as shown in FIGS. 24 and 25, by narrowing the interval WB between the two boundary lines B, B, the interval W27b between the outer edges of the two joining portions 27, 27 may be made to coincide with the width W11 of the top joining portion 11. In this case, the outer edges of the joining portion 27 are located at the folding line positions of the front portion 6a and the side portion 6b of the food packaging body 6. The joining portion 27 is a portion that has higher rigidity due to joining. For this reason, the side sheet 25 is neatly bent along the outer edge of the joining portion 27.
[0072] In the above embodiment, the central sheet 24 is disposed on the inner surface side of the side sheets 25. However, the present invention may be the reverse of this. That is, as shown in FIG. 26, in the overlapping portion 26, the side edge portions of the side sheets 25 are disposed on the inner surface side of the side edge portions of the central sheet 24, and the side edge portions of the central sheet 24 and the side edge portions of the side sheets 25 may be overlapped such that the inner surface of the side edge portion of the central sheet 24 faces the outer surface of the side edge portion of the side sheet 25. In this case, the side sheet 25 has heat weldability not only on the inner surface side but also on the outer surface side.
[0073] Note that the example shown in FIG. 26(a) is a mode in which, similar to FIG. 25(b), the interval W27b between the outer edges of the two joining portions 27, 27 is equal to the width W11 of the top joining portion 11. The example shown in FIG. 26(b) is a mode in which the interval W27a between the inner edges of the two joining portions 27, 27 is equal to the width W11 of the top joining portion 11. In both cases, the side edges of the joining portion 27 are located at the positions of the fold lines of the front portion 6a and the side portion 6b of the food package 6. For this reason, the side sheet 25 can be neatly bent along the side edges of the joining portion 27 having high rigidity.
[0074] In the above embodiment, the interval WB between the two boundary lines B, B that divide the first sheet 2 into three regions of the central portion 22 and the two side portions 23, 23 is smaller than the width W11 of the top joining portion 11. However, the present invention is not limited to this. The interval between the two boundary lines may be larger than the width of the top joining portion.
[0075] In the above embodiment, the unsealing strip 34 and the inner sheet 4 are disposed over the entire length of the first sheet 2 from one end to the other end of the first sheet 2. However, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, as shown in FIG. 27, the unsealing strip 34 and the inner sheet 4 may be arranged to have a length shorter than the entire length of the first sheet 2. This food packaging bag 1 can be manufactured by a second manufacturing method.
[0076] Also, in the above embodiment, the opening means is a strip for opening. However, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, various known opening means such as perforations, half-cuts, or combinations thereof with the strip for opening can be adopted.
[0077] Also, in a food packaging bag, a header portion is not essential. For example, a food packaging bag may be composed of only a bag body without a header portion.
[0078] Also, terms for specifying shapes, parts, or states such as "trapezoidal", "triangular", "rectangular", "square-shaped", "straight line", "central part", "end part", "side part", "coincide", "identical", "parallel", and "orthogonal" include, in the present invention, not only the thing itself but also the concept of "substantially" meaning close to or similar to it.
[0079] Also, in the above embodiment, the food is a sandwich. However, the food to be packaged may be Western confectionery such as cakes, Japanese confectionery such as castella, bread, or processed rice foods such as rice balls, as long as it can be accommodated in the food packaging bag, and the type of food is not particularly limited.
[0080] Also, in the above embodiment, the second sheet 2 is a single sheet. However, the present invention is not limited to this. The second sheet may be formed of a single sheet by joining the side edges of two sheets (films) together, or may be formed of a single sheet by sequentially joining the side edges of three sheets (films) together. That is, not only the first sheet but also the second sheet may be partitioned into a plurality of regions in the width direction.
