Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to preventing soiling with excrement and sewage when using a device having a seat with an opening for use in excretion while sitting. [Background technology]
[0002] There are a variety of excretion devices with an opening in the seat for excretion, ranging from seated toilets with a toilet seat and bowl, to prefabricated box-type toilets and folding chair-like portable toilets with a bag attached to catch excrement.
[0003] While these methods allow for urination while standing, most are used for urination while sitting. The seat, which is the area where urine splashes during seated urination, is prone to soiling with excrement, especially on the underside of the seat. If there is a seam on the inner edge of the seat, the soiling can accumulate and become noticeable. Excrement and other soiling also easily accumulate near the top of the excrement-receiving container, such as a toilet bowl or bag, located near the seat. When using equipment with a body wash function or a portable body wash tool, the water used to wash the body may splash. These factors increase the discomfort of appearance and odor, as well as hygiene risks such as contact with dirty water. These effects not only increase the risk of infection during urination and cleaning, and daily physical and mental strain, but can also induce behaviors that discourage urination, posing health problems that are likely to become particularly problematic in emergencies such as disasters.
[0004] Hereinafter, the excretion tool with an opening for excretion in the seat will be simply referred to as a seated excretion tool, and the excrement and water for washing the human private parts when using the seated excretion tool will be simply referred to as wastewater.Furthermore, the dirt that adheres mainly to the seat of the seated excretion tool due to wastewater will be simply referred to as wastewater dirt.
[0005] The general response to sewage stains, particularly on the seat, as described above, is cleaning, and proposals for physically preventing the adhesion of sewage stains on an ongoing basis have traditionally been made to deal with severe stains, such as excrement leaking from the gap between the seat and bowl of a seated toilet.
[0006] Patent Document 1 describes a leak prevention device for toilet seats that consists of a flexible, band-shaped shielding portion for shielding gaps and a flexible, band-shaped installation portion for installation on the underside of the toilet seat, the installation portion having an adhesive layer and a release sheet and having multiple slits along its length, making it easy to fix to the toilet seat and enabling manufacturing costs to be kept low. Patent document 2 describes a sewage leakage prevention device that consists of a strip-shaped sewage receiving part that receives sewage and an attachment part that is attached to the toilet bowl, and the sewage receiving part forms a gap between the toilet bowl and the sewage receiving part, so that not only is sewage received by the inner surface of the sewage receiving part, but sewage that exceeds the top end of the sewage receiving part can also flow down through the gap, and further, by using a linear metal member as part of the attachment part to the toilet bowl, it can be adapted to toilet bowls of various shapes and gap sizes. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0007] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2020-188900 [Patent Document 2] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2011-234767 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0008] However, in Patent Document 1, the adhesive part is attached to the underside of the toilet seat along the entire length of the shielding part, so dirt tends to accumulate near the edge of the adhesive part, making it somewhat difficult to clean. Also, if urine hits the shielding part and overflows upward, it may flow onto the surface or outside of the toilet seat, soiling the body, clothes, or floor. Because Patent Document 2 is attached to the toilet bowl, it cannot prevent sewage from staining the underside of the toilet seat, which is inside the sewage receiving part. Also, while the wire-shaped metal material can be freely deformed, the user needs to adjust the position of the sewage receiving part to match the height of the gap between the toilet bowl and the toilet seat. Therefore, if the sewage receiving part is set too low, not only can sewage stain the underside of the toilet seat, but sewage can also easily leak out from the gap.
[0009] Furthermore, many commercially available box-type and chair-type portable toilets use bags, and while they can be used systematically during leisure activities, there is a possibility that bags may be in short supply for an extended period of time in emergencies such as disasters. Also, many people have stored them away as disaster prevention supplies and have never tried them out, so it is conceivable that they may not be able to start using them smoothly when they are actually needed. Ideally, it would be meaningful if sewage stain prevention equipment that is used on a daily basis could also be used for a variety of seated excretion equipment, including emergency equipment.
[0010] The present invention aims to provide a sewage stain prevention device that is compatible with various seated toilet devices, can be easily installed, and is easy to clean and maintain, in order to prevent sewage stains on the seat and surrounding area of the seat of seated toilet devices. [Means for solving the problem]
[0011] The sewage stain prevention device of claim 1 is a seated excretion device having a seat with an excretion opening, which prevents adhesion of sewage stains to the seat and the area around the seat, and the sewage stain prevention device comprises a substantially plate-shaped sewage receiving part for receiving sewage and a connecting part that allows the sewage receiving part to be attached and detached to the seat, the sewage receiving part has at least one gap retaining part that forms a gap for sewage discharge between the sewage receiving part and the inner peripheral edge of the seat, and all or a part of the upper end of the sewage receiving part is arranged to be in a position where it is not visible from the front in a plan view. A sewage stain prevention device that can be installed inside the inner peripheral edge of the seat and can be installed at a height higher than the lower end of the inner peripheral edge of the seat when viewed from the side, and the lower end of the sewage receiving part can be installed inside the outer peripheral edge of the seat when viewed from the top and below the height of the lower end of the inner peripheral edge of the seat when viewed from the side, characterized in that sewage received in the sewage receiving part flows down the inner surface of the sewage receiving part, and sewage that exceeds the sewage receiving part flows down into the gap for sewage discharge, thereby regulating the flow path of the sewage.
[0012] In the sewage stain prevention device of claim 2, the sewage stain prevention device described in claim 1 is characterized in that all or part of the shape of the upper end of the sewage receiving portion has portions that slope downward from the center of the longitudinal direction of the sewage receiving portion to the left and right.
[0013] The sewage stain prevention device of claim 3 is characterized in that part or all of the connecting part is provided with an attachment part using a flexible, approximately belt-shaped or string-shaped material, and the attachment part can be fixed by wrapping around the inner peripheral edge, upper surface, outer peripheral edge and back surface of part of the seat part. [Effects of the Invention]
[0014] The sewage stain prevention device of claim 1 is a sewage stain prevention device for a seated excretion device having a seat with an excretion opening, which prevents the adhesion of sewage stains to the seat and the area around the seat, and the sewage stain prevention device comprises a substantially plate-shaped sewage receiving part that receives sewage and a connecting part that allows the sewage receiving part to be attached and detached to the seat, the sewage receiving part has at least one gap retaining part that forms a gap for sewage discharge between the sewage receiving part and the inner peripheral edge of the seat, all or part of the upper end of the sewage receiving part can be installed inside the inner peripheral edge of the seat in a plan view and can be installed at a height higher than the lower end of the inner peripheral edge of the seat in a side view, and the lower end of the sewage receiving part can be installed inside the outer peripheral edge of the seat in a plan view and can be installed below the lower end of the inner peripheral edge of the seat in a side view, and the sewage stain prevention device Most of the sewage can flow down the inside surface of the sewage receiving section before reaching the seat, preventing the underside of the seat, which is the most susceptible to soiling, and preventing sewage from splashing over the area above containers for receiving excrement, such as toilet bowls or bags, that are close to the seat.
[0015] Similarly, since the sewage stain prevention device connects the connecting part to the seat, even if there is a gap between the seat and the toilet, such as in the case of a seated toilet, the height of the upper end of the sewage receiving part is constant and not affected by differences in the height of the gap, so it is less affected by differences in the user's installation method and can reliably prevent sewage stains.
[0016] Similarly, since the sewage stain prevention device connects the connecting part to the seat, when the user chooses a product, they only need to check whether it fits the seat, making it easy to introduce and highly versatile.
[0017] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device allows sewage that exceeds the sewage receiving section to flow down into the gap for sewage discharge, regulating the flow path of the sewage, so that sewage that exceeds the upper end of the sewage receiving section loses momentum and can flow down along the outer surface of the sewage receiving section, and sewage that has spilled onto the top surface of the seat can also flow down into the gap for sewage discharge. Therefore, by installing the sewage stain prevention device, it is possible to prevent sewage stains from accumulating between the seat and the device, and the device can be kept from getting too dirty even in situations where frequent cleaning is difficult.
[0018] Similarly, even if cleaning detergent or water is sprayed on the sewage stain prevention device while it is installed on the seat, the same as sewage, it will flow down from the inner and outer surfaces of the sewage receiving part and the gap for sewage discharge, making it easy to maintain, dry quickly, clean in a very short time, and easy to manage.
[0019] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device can minimize the adhesion and accumulation of sewage stains on the seat and the area around the seat, and on the sewage stain prevention device itself, making it easier to keep clean, reducing the psychological burden when using the seated toilet device, and reducing the burden of cleaning, and contributing to hygiene management even when resources and manpower for maintaining cleanliness are limited, such as during a disaster.
[0020] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device can prevent stains that tend to accumulate not only on the seat but also near the top of the container that receives excrement. Therefore, when cleaning the container that receives excrement or disposing of the container itself, such as a bag containing excrement, the risk of coming into contact with sewage stains during work can be reduced, thereby reducing the risk of infection during cleaning and also reducing the psychological burden.
[0021] In the sewage stain prevention device of claim 2, all or part of the shape of the upper end of the sewage receiving portion has portions that slope downward from the center of the longitudinal direction of the sewage receiving portion to the left and right, making it less likely that the sewage receiving portion will come into contact with the inside of the user's thighs, etc. when sitting down on the seat or while urinating in a seated position, and even if it does come into contact with the body, it is less likely to cause injury, thereby increasing safety in use.
[0022] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device has portions inclined downward from the longitudinal center of the sewage receiving portion to the left and right in all or part of the shape of the upper end of the sewage receiving portion, so that the shape of the sewage receiving portion is higher in the center where sewage tends to concentrate, allowing for efficient reception of sewage, and the downward sloping portions make it possible to create a shape that allows sewage to flow easily, thereby effectively preventing sewage stains.
[0023] In the sewage stain prevention device of claim 3, part or all of the connecting part is provided with an attachment part using a flexible, approximately belt-shaped or string-shaped member, and the attachment part can be fixed by wrapping around the inner peripheral edge, upper surface, outer peripheral edge and back surface of part of the seat part, making it highly versatile and usable even if the shape and size of the seat part is different, and it also prevents the sewage stain prevention device itself from falling off, making it possible to provide a sewage stain prevention device that is easy to install.
[0024] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device has an attachment part made of a flexible, roughly belt-shaped or string-shaped member, and can be fixed by wrapping it around part of the seat part, minimizing the areas where sewage is likely to accumulate, allowing sewage to flow efficiently down into the gaps, and also making it easier for detergent and water to flow when cleaning, making it easier to rinse off and keep clean.
[0025] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device has an attachment part made of a flexible, roughly belt-shaped or string-shaped member, and can be fixed by wrapping it around a part of the seat part, so that the attachment part is in a visible position, allowing for an innovative design to be used as a sewage stain prevention measure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0027] An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. [Example]
[0028] A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 3. Figure 1 is a perspective view showing the embodiment of the present invention, Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A in Figure 1, and Figure 3 is a plan view of Figure 1.
[0029] The seated toilet device 30 comprises a roughly O-shaped seat 40 having an opening 41 for excretion, and a support part 60 made of a cylindrical folded plate material, and is used with a bag 50 for receiving excrement, which is disposed of together with the bag 50. The bag 50 is placed in the opening 61 of the support part 60 with the bag opening 51 widened, and the mouth 53 of the bag is placed over the upper end 62 of the support part 60 and protrudes from the outer surface 63 of the support part 60. The back surface 47 of the seat 40 has a concave shape between the inner peripheral edge 42 and the outer peripheral edge 43, and is placed on top of the bag 50 hanging over the upper end 62 of the support part 60.
[0030] The seated toilet device 30 shown in the figure is an example of a knockdown portable toilet, but is not limited to this example. The shape of the seat 40 may be different, such as an approximately U-shape, and the shape of the support part 60 may also be different. The bag 50 that collects excrement may be a separate container, or it may be a device that does not use a container, such as a discharge. It may be a chair with an excretion function, a portable toilet for nursing care, or a flushable seated toilet. It may also have facilities such as a body local cleansing function, a sterilization function, and a heating function.
[0031] The sewage stain prevention device 1 comprises a substantially plate-shaped sewage receiving portion 10 for receiving sewage, and a connecting portion 20. Note that the number of connecting portions 20 shown in the figure is an example and is not limited to this number.
[0032] The sewage receiving portion 10 is formed by forming a generally plate-like member into an arc, and the upper end 11 of the sewage receiving portion 10 is located inside the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40 and within the opening 41 in a plan view, and is located at a height higher than the lower end 46 of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40 in a side view, and the lower end 12 of the sewage receiving portion 10 is located inside the outer peripheral edge 43 of the seat portion 40 in a plan view, and is located below the height of the lower end 46 of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40 in a side view. Furthermore, a gap retaining portion 16 is connected to a portion of the outer surface 14 of the sewage receiving portion 10, forming a gap 15 for draining sewage between the sewage receiving portion 10 and the seat portion 40.
[0033] The connecting portion 20 is connected to the gap maintaining portion 16 and comprises an attachment portion 21 that is connected to the seat portion 40. The attachment portion 21 is formed so as to be detachably attached to the seat portion 40, and is roughly U-shaped so as to contact the upper surface 45, inner peripheral edge 42, and outer peripheral edge 43 of the seat portion 40.
[0034] The height of the upper end 11 of the wastewater receiving portion 10 is positioned slightly below the upper end 44 of the seat portion 40 in a side view, and although not limited to this example, it is desirable to set the height at least in consideration of safety in case it comes into contact with the body when sitting on the seat or while urinating in a seated position, and it is desirable that it is not too high, aiming for the vicinity of the upper end 44 of the seat portion 40. Furthermore, the upper end 11 of the wastewater receiving portion 10 has a rounded cross section in a side view, and although not limited to this example, it is desirable that the shape or material be such that safety in case it comes into contact with the body is taken into consideration, and for example, a member of a different shape or material may be connected to the upper end 11 of the wastewater receiving portion, or a removable cover or the like may be combined, and there are no particular limitations.
[0035] The shape of the wastewater receiving portion 10 is not limited to the above. For example, the wastewater receiving portion 10 may be substantially circular in plan view, extending around the entire inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40, or the inner surface 13 and the outer surface 14 of the wastewater receiving portion 10 may have an uneven portion formed thereon, and is not particularly limited.
[0036] The shape and structure of the connecting part 20 are not limited to those described above, and the connecting part 20 may be attached to the seat part 40 in a different manner. For example, it may be attached with adhesive tape, clipped in like a clip, or connected to the wastewater receiving part 10 and fitted into a notch. There is also no particular limitation on applying water-repellent, waterproof, antibacterial, deodorizing, or other treatments to the whole or part of the wastewater stain prevention device 1.
[0037] The entire sewage stain prevention device 1 is made of polypropylene resin. Other materials may be used, such as silicone, elastomer resin, or other resin materials, or waterproofed fiber materials such as paper, cloth, or bamboo, and are not particularly limited. However, if no special measures are taken regarding the cross-sectional shape of the upper end 11 of the sewage receiving portion 10, it is desirable that at least the material of the upper end 11 of the sewage receiving portion 10 is flexible and safe to touch the body. As mentioned above, separate members may be connected, or a separate member such as a detachable cover may be used, and are not particularly limited.
[0038] The dimensions of the wastewater receiving portion 10 are approximately 3 cm to 6 cm in height, 15 cm to 85 cm in length, and 0.5 mm to 3 mm in thickness, but are not limited to this example. The lower end 12 of the wastewater receiving portion 10 is at least 1 cm to 2 cm below the lower end 46 of the seat portion 40 on the inner peripheral edge 42 side in side view, preferably about 1 cm to 2 cm below. However, the dimensions are not limited to this example, for example, to cover a wider area near the upper end 52 of the bag 50. The gap retaining portion 16 and the connecting portion 20 are approximately 1 cm to 2 cm in width, 0.5 mm to 3 mm in thickness, and the length of the portion contacting the upper surface 45 of the seat portion 40 is approximately 8 cm to 10 cm, the length of the portion contacting the inner peripheral edge 42 is approximately 2 cm to 3 cm, the length of the gap retaining portion is approximately 0.3 cm to 1.0 cm, and the length of the portion contacting the outer peripheral edge 43 is approximately 2 cm to 4 cm, but are not limited to this example.
[0039] Because the sewage stain prevention device 1 having the above configuration is connected to the seat 40, the position of the upper end 11 of the sewage receiving part 10 does not drop below the seat 40 in a side view, and can be maintained in an appropriate position. Furthermore, because the sewage receiving part 10 is located inside the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40, when sewage splashes in the direction of the front 49 of the seated toilet device 30, the sewage hits the sewage receiving part 10, flows down the inner surface 13, and falls into the opening 51 of the bag 50, preventing sewage stains from adhering to the back surface 47 and inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40.
[0040] Furthermore, even if the sewage is strong or in large volume, the sewage that exceeds the upper end 11 of the sewage receiving portion 10 weakens in force and flows down along the outer surface 14 of the sewage receiving portion 10. Not only that, but sewage that splashes onto the upper surface 45 of the seat portion 40 can also flow down through the gap 15 for sewage discharge into the opening 51 of the bag 50, thereby regulating the flow path of the sewage and preventing the sewage from reaching the user's thighs or buttocks.
[0041] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device 1 is characterized by restricting the flow path of sewage, so even if detergent or water is sprayed during cleaning, it can flow down into the bag opening 51 just like sewage, making it easy to clean and quick to dry, and easy to maintain clean.
[0042] As a result, the sewage stain prevention device 1 can minimize the adhesion of sewage stains to the upper surface 45 and inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40 and the sewage stain prevention device 1 itself, so it can be maintained in a state that is not too dirty even when cleaning is difficult. This means that even when resources for maintaining cleanliness are limited, such as during a disaster, it is easy to take measures such as wiping the minimum area, reducing the psychological burden when using it and making hygiene management easier, which may contribute to maintaining an appropriate frequency of excretion and may contribute to preventing deterioration of health.
[0043] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device 1 can also prevent staining on the back surface 47 of the seat 40 and the area near the upper end 52 inside the opening 51 of the bag 50, thereby reducing the risk of coming into contact with sewage stains when replacing or disposing of the bag 50, making it easier to clean hygienically, and reducing the psychological burden on the worker.
[0044] Similarly, since the sewage stain prevention device 1 is formed to be detachable, it can be removed and washed, and cleaning of the sitting-position excretion device 30 is also easy.
[0045] Similarly, when the sewage stain prevention device 1 is used by placing the upper end 52 of the bag 50 over the seat 40, it can also be attached to the seat 40 from above the bag 50, which can prevent stains inside the opening 51 of the bag 50 while also fixing the bag 50 in place. [Example]
[0046] An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figs. 4 to 8. Components common to those in Example 1 are given the same reference numerals and will not be described further. Fig. 4 is a perspective view showing an embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line B-B in Fig. 4, Fig. 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along line C-C in Fig. 4, Fig. 7 is a plan view of Fig. 4, and Fig. 8 is a perspective view of the sewage stain prevention device shown in Fig. 4.
[0047] The seated toilet device 31 is an example of a flush-type seated toilet, and is made up of a toilet body 70 and a seat 40. The back surface 47 of the seat 40 is flat, and an appropriate number of legs 48 are fixed to the back surface 47 of the seat 40, and a gap 75 exists between the toilet body 70 and the seat 40. The sewage stain prevention device 2 comprises a connecting part 120 that can be attached to the seat part 40 and a sewage receiving part 110. Note that the number of connecting parts 120 shown in the figure is an example and is not limited to this number.
[0048] The seated toilet device 31 shown in the figure is a flush-type seated toilet, but is not limited to this example. The shape of the seat 40 may be different, such as an approximately U-shape, the shape of the toilet body 70 may be different, and the device may be a seated toilet such as a septic tank that is not a flush type, a portable toilet for nursing care, or a device that uses a bucket or other container for collecting excrement, and may have facilities such as a body part cleansing function, a sterilizing function, or a heating function. It may also be a collapsible or box-shaped portable toilet, or a chair with a seat that supports excretion.
[0049] The wastewater receiving portion 110 has a central portion 117 whose upper end 111 is inclined downward from the center in the longitudinal direction to the left and right. A roughly triangular portion 119 is provided at a part of the lower end 112 of the central portion 117, and a gap retaining portion 116 is provided at the lower end 112 of the triangular portion 119, so that the gap retaining portion 116 forms an angle inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, allowing wastewater to flow down. In addition, both end portions 118 connected to the central portion 117 are roughly band-shaped. The entire wastewater receiving portion 110 is formed in an arc shape in a plan view.
[0050] The upper end 111 of the central part 117 of the wastewater receiving part 110 is located inside the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40 and within the opening 41 in a plan view, and is located at a height higher than the lower end 46 of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40 in a side view, and the lower end 112 of the wastewater receiving part 110 is located inside the outer peripheral edge 43 of the seat 40 in a plan view, and is located below the height of the upper end 72 of the toilet body 70 in a side view. In addition, a gap 115 for discharging wastewater is formed between the central part 117 of the wastewater receiving part 110 and the seat 40.
[0051] When viewed from the side, the upper end 111 of the central part 117 of the sewage receiving portion is at approximately the same height as the upper end 44 of the seat 40, and the cross section of the end of the upper end 111 is rounded. Although this example is not limited to this, considering the possibility that the body may come into contact with the upper end 111 of the central part 117 of the sewage receiving portion when sitting on the seat 40 or while urinating in a seated position, and the need to prevent sewage contamination, it is desirable that the height of the upper end 111 of the central part 117 of the sewage receiving portion be between the upper end 44 of the seat 40 and the lower end 46 on the inner peripheral edge 42 side of the seat 40, and if it is expected that the upper end 111 will be at a position higher than the upper end 44 of the seat 40, it is desirable to use a flexible material.
[0052] The upper ends 111 of both end portions 118 of the sewage receiving portion 110 are located from the inside of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40 to the inside of the outer peripheral edge 43 of the seat 40 in a plan view, and are located at a height higher than the lower end 46 on the inner peripheral edge 42 side of the seat 40 in a side view. The lower end 112 of the sewage receiving portion 110 is located inside the outer peripheral edge 43 of the seat 40 and inside the inner peripheral edge 76 of the toilet body 70 in a plan view, and is located below the height of the lower end 46 on the inner peripheral edge 42 side of the seat 40 and below the height of the upper end 72 of the toilet body 70 in a side view.
[0053] The upper ends 111 of both end portions 118 of the sewage receiving portion 110 are smoothly connected to the inclined portions of the upper end 111 of the central portion 117 of the sewage receiving portion 110, but this is not limited to this example. For example, the shape of the upper end 111 of the sewage receiving portion 110 may be a step with a varying height between the central portion 117 and both end portions 118, or a concave portion with a lower height may be provided between the central portion 117 and both end portions 116, and is not particularly limited.
[0054] Furthermore, the upper end 111 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 is positioned inside the inner edge 42 of the seat portion 40 more than the lower end 112, and when viewed from the side, the wastewater receiving portion 110 is at an angle inclined relative to the vertical plane, but this example is not limited to this.
[0055] Therefore, the shape of the wastewater receiving portion 110 is not limited to the above. For example, the central portion 117 may be absent, the upper end 111 and the lower end 112 may have different shapes, the wastewater receiving portion 110 may be circular and extend around the entire inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40, or uneven portions may be formed on the inner surface 113 and the outer surface 114 of the wastewater receiving portion. Furthermore, the gap portion 115 for draining wastewater may be provided over the entire wastewater receiving portion 110, or may be provided partially.
[0056] The shape of the upper end 111 of the central part 117 of the wastewater receiving part is a gentle arc, and although this example is not limited to this, since there is a possibility that the body may come into contact with it, it is desirable to use a shape that is safe for the body to come into contact with, for example, avoiding shapes with corners.
[0057] The connecting part 120 is made up of an attachment part 121 that connects to the underside 47 of the seat part 40, and a side part 124. The attachment part 121 has an adhesive part 122 and a release paper 123 that protects the adhesive part 122, and when installing, the release paper 123 is peeled off and the adhesive part 122 is pressed against the underside 47 of the seat part to attach it. The side part 124 connects the attachment part 121 and the gap maintaining part 115, and is strip-shaped.
[0058] Further, both end portions 118 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 are connected to mounting portions 121 .
[0059] The shape and structure of the connecting part 120 are not limited to those described above. For example, the gap retaining part 116 may be rod-shaped with a circular or polygonal cross section, or the number of gap retaining parts may be different. The connecting part 120 may also be attached to the seat part 40 in a different way. For example, it may be attached by clipping it, or by connecting it to the wastewater receiving part 110 and fitting it into a cutout part, or it may be fastened to a part of the seat part 40 with a screw or the like, or it may be attached to the seat part with a string, band, tape or the like.
[0060] The entire sewage stain prevention device 2 is made of flexible polypropylene resin. Other materials include resin materials such as elastomer resin, ABS resin, and silicone, as well as waterproofed paper, cloth, wood, bamboo, and other fiber materials. Metal materials such as aluminum and stainless steel can also be used for part of the connecting portion, without any particular limitations. The adhesive tape is made of acrylic rubber. Other materials are desirable, including rubber materials with adhesive properties that allow it to be fixed to the back surface 47 of the seat 40. It is even more desirable if it can be peeled off as needed, but this is not a particular limitation. An acrylic sheet is used for the release paper, but other materials are desirable, including resin sheets that protect the adhesiveness of the adhesive tape and allow it to be easily peeled off, without any particular limitations.
[0061] It is desirable that the upper end 111 of the sewage receiving portion has a shape or material that at least takes into consideration safety in the event of contact with the body, and for example, a flexible member made of a different material may be connected to the upper end 111 of the sewage receiving portion, or a cover may be combined with the upper end 111, and there is no particular limitation on connecting a member of a different shape to the upper end 111 of the sewage receiving portion. There is also no particular limitation on applying a water-repellent, waterproof, antibacterial, deodorizing, or other treatment to the whole or part of the sewage stain prevention device 2.
[0062] The dimensions of the wastewater receiving portion 110 are approximately 1 mm to 3 mm thick and 10 cm to 30 cm long, with the central portion 117 being approximately 6 to 12 cm long and 4 cm to 6 cm high, the triangular portion 117 being convex downwards by approximately 0.3 to 0.6 cm from the connecting lower end 112, and both end portions 116 being approximately 1 to 4 cm high, but are not limited to this example. The gap retaining portion 115 and the connecting portion side portions 124 are approximately 1 cm to 1.5 cm wide and 0.5 mm to 3 mm thick, with the gap retaining portion 115 being approximately 0.3 to 1.0 cm long and the connecting portion side portions 124 being approximately 1.5 to 3.0 cm long, but are not limited to this example. The attachment portion 121 has a width of about 1 cm to 1.5 cm, a length of about 1.5 to 2.5 cm, and a thickness of about 1.0 mm to 4.0 mm, of which the adhesive portion 122 has a thickness of 0.2 to 1.0 mm, but is not limited to this example.
[0063] The sewage stain prevention device 2 having the above-mentioned configuration has a shape in which the upper end of the central part 117 of the sewage receiving part 110 is inclined downward from the center of the longitudinal direction of the sewage receiving part to the left and right directions with respect to the gap 75 at the front 49 of the sitting-position excretion device 31 where sewage stains are likely to occur. As a result, even if sewage hits it with force, it can be received by the inner surface 113 of the sewage receiving part and allowed to flow down into the toilet opening 71, thereby reducing the amount of sewage that exceeds the upper end 111 of the central part 117.
[0064] Similarly, since the shape of the upper end 111 of the central part 117 of the sewage receiving portion 110 is such that it slopes downward from the longitudinal center of the sewage receiving portion 110 to the left and right, even if the sewage exceeds the upper end 111, it is easy for the sewage to flow down along the slope into the gap portion 115, making it easy to prevent the sewage from overflowing onto the upper surface 45 of the seat portion 40.
[0065] Similarly, the shape of the upper end 111 of the central part 117 of the wastewater receiving part 110 is such that it slopes downward from the longitudinal center of the wastewater receiving part 110 to the left and right, allowing wastewater to flow left and right along the slope, and further, since both end parts 118 of the wastewater receiving part 110 are located between the inner peripheral edge 42 and the outer peripheral edge 43 below the seat part 40, wastewater can flow down below the seat part 40, preventing it from reaching the user's thighs, etc. Therefore, if both end parts 118 of the wastewater receiving part 110 are formed long in the left and right directions, it is possible to prevent wastewater from splashing out of the gap 75 even when it splashes not only in the direction of the front 49 of the seated toilet device 31 but also in the left and right directions.
[0066] Similarly, the shape of the upper end of the central part 117 of the wastewater receiving part 110 is such that it slopes downward from the center of the longitudinal direction of the wastewater receiving part to the left and right, thereby reducing the risk of the wastewater receiving part 110 coming into contact with the user's thighs or other parts of the body when sitting on the seat 40 or while urinating in a seated position, and allowing for comfortable use without interfering with the movement of sitting on the seat 40.
[0067] Furthermore, the sewage stain prevention device 2 has holding portion 121 formed at an angle inclined relative to the horizontal plane, allowing sewage to flow off and preventing sewage from accumulating in holding portion 121. Even in cases where frequent cleaning is difficult, it can be maintained with minimal dirt, and furthermore, it can be easily washed away when cleaning and dries quickly, making it easy to maintain cleanliness.
[0068] Furthermore, the sewage stain prevention device 2 is designed to be attached with adhesive tape, making it compatible with many seated toilet devices. Since it requires fewer attachment points than existing products, less sewage accumulates in the attachment points, making it easy to use in a wide range of situations, from everyday use to outdoor activities and in emergencies.
[0069] In addition, the sewage stain prevention device 2 can be manufactured inexpensively by cutting and folding sheet-like materials, and can also be made disposable by using very thin resin or waterproof paper, etc. It may be useful when going out or during an infectious disease outbreak. [Example]
[0070] An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figs. 9 to 11. Components common to Examples 1 and 2 are given the same reference numerals and their description will be omitted. Fig. 9 is a plan view showing an embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 10 is a cross-sectional view taken along line D-D in Fig. 9, and Fig. 11 is a perspective view of the sewage stain prevention device shown in Fig. 9.
[0071] The sewage stain prevention device 3 comprises a sewage receiving portion 210 and a connecting portion 230, and is attached to the seat portion 40 of the seated toilet device 31. The sewage receiving portion 210 has a shape that is approximately rectangular with both corners of the upper end 211 tilted downward in the left and right directions so as to be rounded off, and cylindrical gap retaining portions 216 are provided at both ends 218 of the sewage receiving portion 210, and a gap portion 215 is formed between the sewage receiving portion 210 and the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion.
[0072] The connecting portion 230 is made up of an attachment portion 220 and a recess 231. The attachment portion 220 is a binding band made of a generally belt-shaped flexible material, and has teeth 222 on one side of a belt-shaped band portion 221 and a lock portion 224 at one end thereof, and can be fixed at any position by inserting a tip portion 223 opposite to the lock portion 224 into a hole 225 in the lock portion and hooking a protrusion 227 of the teeth portion 222 into the claw portion 226 inside the lock portion 224, and can be released from the binding by operating a release portion 228 connected to the claw portion 226 to release the hooking of the protrusion 227 of the teeth portion 222.
[0073] The recess 231 is connected to a part of the longitudinal center of the wastewater receiving part 210, and has a concave shape that follows a part of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat part 40 in a side view. Furthermore, an insertion part 232 is provided between the recess 231 and the wastewater receiving part 210, into which the band part 221 of the attachment part 220 is inserted.
[0074] The method of connecting the sewage stain prevention device 3 to the seat portion 40 is to insert the tip portion 223 of the band portion 221 of the attachment portion 220 into the insertion portion 232, then wrap it around the front 49 of the seat portion 40 once so that the surface on which the teeth portion 222 of the band portion 221 are provided contacts the inner peripheral edge 42, upper surface 45, outer peripheral edge 43 and back surface 47 of the seat portion 40, and then insert the tip portion 223 into the hole 225 of the locking portion 224 to secure it in place.
[0075] Although the connecting portion 230 is provided at one location, this is not limiting and multiple locations may be provided. The connecting portion 230 and the wastewater receiving portion 210 may be formed as a continuous, integrated unit, or the concave portion 231 and the wastewater receiving portion 210 of the connecting portion 230 may be formed as a continuous, single unit, with the mounting portion 220 being a separate member; this is not particularly limited. The connecting portion 230 may also have the function of the gap retaining portion 216, forming a gap 215 between the wastewater receiving portion 210 and the seat portion 40.
[0076] The gap retaining portions 216 are provided at both ends 218 of the wastewater receiving portion 210, but the present invention is not limited to this example, and one or more gap retaining portions 216 may be provided at any position on the outer surface 214 of the wastewater receiving portion 210, and gap retaining portions 215 may be formed in multiple locations. Furthermore, the shape of the gap retaining portion 216 is cylindrical over the entire length of the wastewater receiving portion 210 in the vertical direction, but the present invention is not limited to this example, and for example, the length may be short, the direction may be inclined rather than vertical, or the shape may be a protrusion such as a hemisphere, and is not particularly limited.
[0077] The method by which the connecting part 230 fastens the seat part 40 is not limited to the above, and the band part 221 of the cable tie of the attachment part 220 may be string-like with a round or polygonal cross section, the tooth part 222 may have a different shape or locking mechanism, or the attachment part 220 may be a method other than a cable tie. However, to be able to accommodate a variety of shapes and sizes of the seat part 40, a connecting method that allows for nearly stepless length adjustment and secure fixation is desirable. For example, a method may be used in which a hook-and-loop fastener or adhesive material is used on the end of a belt-shaped member to fix the members at a position of any length, or a connecting method may be used in which a member that has one to multiple pre-set fixing positions, such as a button or hook, and whose length can be adjusted in steps depending on the fitting position is used in combination with an elastic member such as rubber, thereby increasing the adjustment range and fixation strength due to its elasticity, or a connecting method in which a member such as silicone that has elasticity and anti-slip properties is added with the functions of length adjustment and fixation using a D-ring or the like, and the method is not particularly limited.
[0078] The upper end 211 of the wastewater receiving portion 210 is located inside the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40 and within the opening 41 in a plan view, and is located at a height higher than the lower end 46 of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40 in a side view. The lower end 212 of the wastewater receiving portion 210 is located inside the outer peripheral edge 43 of the seat 40 and inside the inner peripheral edge 76 of the toilet body 70 in a plan view, and is located below the height of the lower end 46 of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40 and below the height of the upper end 72 of the toilet body 70 in a side view.
[0079] When viewed from the side, the upper end 211 of the wastewater receiving portion 210 is slightly higher than the lower end 46 of the seat portion 40, and although this example is not limited to this, it is desirable that the height of the upper end 211 of the wastewater receiving portion 210 be between the upper end 44 of the seat portion 40 and the lower end 46 of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40.
[0080] Regarding the materials, the binding band of the attachment portion 220 of the connecting portion 230 is made of flexible polypropylene, and the wastewater receiving portion 210 is made of a flexible elastomer resin, but this is not limited to this example. For example, the entire wastewater stain prevention device 3 may be made of a flexible and elastic silicone resin. Furthermore, the material of the wastewater receiving portion 210 may be, in addition to resin, a waterproofed paper, cloth, wood, bamboo, or other fiber material, and the material of the connecting portion 230 may be, in addition to resin, a fiber-based material such as a washable hook-and-loop fastener or a D-ring belt, or a metal material such as aluminum or stainless steel, with some parts being used, without any particular limitation.
[0081] The shape of the wastewater receiving portion 210 is an example and is not limited to the above. However, it is desirable that the shape or material of the upper end 211 at least take into consideration safety in case of contact with the body. For example, the wastewater receiving portion upper end 211 may be made slightly thick and have a rounded cross section, or a member of a different shape may be connected to the wastewater receiving portion upper end 211, although this is not particularly limited. Also, a flexible member made of a different material may be connected, or a cover made of a flexible material may be used, and this is not particularly limited. Furthermore, the wastewater stain prevention device 3 may be entirely or partially subjected to a water-repellent, waterproof, antibacterial, deodorizing, or other treatment, without any particular limitation.
[0082] The dimensions of the wastewater receiving portion 210 are approximately 1 mm to 5 mm thick, 8 cm to 11 cm long, and 3 cm to 5 cm high, and the cylindrical portion of the gap retaining portion 216 is approximately 6 to 8 mm in diameter, but are not limited to this example. The concave portion 231 is approximately 0.5 to 11.5 mm thick, 1 to 1.5 cm wide, and 0.8 to 1.5 cm high, and the insertion portion 232 is approximately 0.8 to 1.2 cm wide and has a hole height of 1 to 1.5 mm, but are not limited to this example. The attachment portion 220 of the connecting portion 230 has a band portion 221 with a width of 0.8 to 1.2 cm, a length of 22 to 30 cm, and a thickness of 1 mm, and a locking portion 224 with a height of 3 to 5 mm, but are not limited to this example.
[0083] The sewage stain prevention device 3 having the above-mentioned configuration can be attached to many seated toilet devices and is easy to install because the attachment part 220 of the connecting part 230 can be fixed by wrapping around the inner peripheral edge 42, upper surface 45, outer peripheral edge 43 and back surface 47 of the front 49 of the seat part 40. Furthermore, by using a reusable cable tie as the attachment part 220, it can be easily fastened even if there is only one attachment point, and can also be detached for manufacturing.
[0084] Similarly, since the mounting portion 230 can be fixed by wrapping around a portion of the seat portion 40, it is less likely to fall off, and problems such as it falling into a container that receives sewage or being accidentally flushed down a drainage system can be avoided.
[0085] Similarly, since the connecting part 230 can be fixed by wrapping around a part of the seat 40, it can be installed at any position on the seat 40. Generally, installing it in the center of the front 49 of the seat 40 is effective in preventing soiling with sewage, but it can also be installed to the left or right of the center to make it easier to use, depending on, for example, obstacles, etc.
[0086] Similarly, since the attachment part 220 can be fixed by wrapping around a part of the seat part 40, the area where sewage accumulates in the sewage stain prevention device 3 is minimized, so even if the sewage exceeds the upper end 211 of the sewage receiving part 210 and splashes onto the upper surface 45 of the seat part 40, it can flow efficiently into the gap part 215.Furthermore, the ease with which sewage flows is also related to the ease with which detergent and water flow when cleaning, so cleaning can be easily done by rinsing, making it easy to keep clean.
[0087] Similarly, since the attachment part 220 can be fixed by wrapping around a part of the seat part 40, the connecting part 220 can be seen on the upper surface 45 of the seat part 40. However, when the sewage stain prevention device 3 is fixed to the center of the front 49 of the seat part 40, the attachment part 220 is located between the thighs when the user is seated, so it is unlikely to come into contact with the body and does not interfere with the movement when sitting on the seat part 40, making it easy to use. In addition, by taking advantage of its visible position, it is possible to implement sewage stain prevention measures with an ingenious design.
[0088] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device 3 is configured so that the upper end 211 of the sewage receiving portion 210 has a sloping angle that slopes downward toward both ends 216, thereby reducing the risk of the body coming into contact with the sewage receiving portion 220 and allowing sewage to flow smoothly downward, making it possible to use it cleanly.
[0089] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device 3 has gap retaining portions 216 at both ends 218 of the sewage receiving portion 210 to form gap portions 215, thereby effectively promoting the discharge of sewage even if the sewage receiving portion 220 is small in size. [Industrial Applicability]
[0090] The sewage stain prevention device according to the present invention can be used in the toilet product industry for manufacturing and in industries that handle toilet products, nursing care products, products for infants, disaster prevention products, outdoor products, travel products, etc. for sales.
