Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to an adjustment member fixture and a projection apparatus. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, adjustment member fixing devices have been proposed that fix adjustment members, such as a zoom ring or a focus ring, provided on a lens barrel for manual zoom and focus adjustment by pressing the adjustment member. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a surveillance camera lens device in which a locking mechanism is provided on the zoom ring and focus ring of the lens barrel of the surveillance camera. In the zoom ring locking mechanism, a lock knob, the tip of which abuts against the outer periphery of the zoom ring, is screwed into the zoom ring, thereby pressing the zoom ring against the locking knob and locking it. In the focus ring locking mechanism, a brake ring that moves with the rotation of the locking knob is provided on the outer periphery of the focus ring, and a brake member integrated with the locking knob is provided between the brake ring and the focus ring. Then, by screwing the locking knob into the focus ring, the focus ring is pressed by the brake member and the brake ring and locked. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] International Publication No. 2013 / 121832 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] After installing a housing containing a lens barrel at an installation location, the zoom adjustment position or focus adjustment position may shift due to vibration or impact. For this reason, it may be necessary to lock the zoom ring or focus ring after installing the housing. With the conventional locking mechanism described above, the zoom ring or focus ring is locked by screwing in a lock knob. Therefore, if the housing is installed in a location that is difficult to reach, such as a high place or a narrow space, it is difficult to lock the zoom ring or focus ring after installing the housing.
[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide an adjustment member fixture and a projection device that can fix an adjustment member and can be easily attached to and detached from a housing. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] An adjustment member fixing device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a fixing portion that presses and fixes an adjustment member provided on the lens barrel side, a pressing portion that presses the fixing portion against the adjustment member side and also presses against a housing in which the lens barrel is housed, and an engaging portion that is connected to the pressing portion, and is characterized in that the housing is clamped between the pressing portion and the engaging portion. [Effects of the Invention]
[0007] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an adjustment member fixture and a projection device that can fix an adjustment member and can be easily attached to and detached from a housing. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0009] (First embodiment) A first embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6. As shown in FIG. 1, a projection device 10 includes a housing 20 in the shape of a substantially rectangular box with its longitudinal direction extending in the left-right direction and having six faces (top face 20a, bottom face 20b, left face 20c, right face 20d, front face 20e, and rear face 20f). The projection device 10 has a projection aperture 11 on the front face 20e side. The projection device 10 emits projection light L from the projection aperture 11. In the following description, the terms "left" and "right" in the projection device 10 refer to the left-right direction relative to the emission direction of the projection light L from the projection aperture 11, and the terms "front" and "rear" refer to the front-rear direction relative to the traveling direction of the projection light L from the projection device 10.
[0010] The housing 20 has an upper case 21 that includes an upper surface 20a and a portion of the right side surface 20d, and a lower case 22 that includes a lower surface 20b and a portion of the right side surface 20d. The housing 20 has a front panel 23 on its front side, a rear panel 24 on its rear side, and a left panel 25 on its left side. The front panel 23 extends to a left front corner 20g of the housing 20, which has a rounded corner. The front panel 23 also has a projection port opening 23a for the projection port 11, an air intake 23b, and an air exhaust 23c. The rear panel 24 extends to a left rear corner 20h, which has a rounded corner. The rear panel 24 is provided with connection ports such as an air intake and an image input / output connector, although these are not shown.
[0011] Edges 21a, 22a, which are the connection portions between the upper case 21 and the right side surface 20d of the lower case 22 of the housing 20, are curved with rounded corners. Edges of the housing 20 other than edges 21a, 22a (for example, the edge between the upper surface 20a and the left side surface 20c) are substantially right-angled. An operation panel 21b, which can be used to set up the projection device 10, is provided on the upper surface 20a of the upper case 21. A connection port for a power plug (not shown) is provided on the right side surface 20d of the lower case 22. A groove 22b, which is recessed inward and extends in the front-rear direction, is provided in a portion of the lower case 22 that contacts the left panel 25 (see FIG. 5, etc.).
[0012] As shown in FIG. 1, a lens barrel 80 is housed in a housing 20 of the projection device 10. An adjustment ring 30 (focus adjustment ring 31 and zoom adjustment ring 32), which is a movable adjustment member, is provided on the lens barrel 80 side. The focus adjustment ring 31 and the zoom adjustment ring 32 are provided in a substantially semicircular ring shape around the optical axis of the lens barrel 80 (see FIGS. 2, 5, and 6), and have knurled outer peripheries. As shown in FIG. 2, a substantially rectangular opening 20a1 is provided in the front left corner of the top surface 20a of the housing 20. The opening 20a1 faces the adjustment ring 30 (focus adjustment ring 31 and zoom adjustment ring 32).
[0013] As shown in FIG. 5 and other figures, edge portions 201 extending in the front-rear direction of opening 20a1 and arranged opposite each other on the left and right are each inclined downward toward adjustment ring 30. The tip surface of downwardly inclined edge portion 201 is formed as a flat surface, and a gap of 1 mm or less is formed between it and adjustment ring 30. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 2, edge portions 204 extending in the left-right direction of opening 20a1 and arranged opposite each other on the front and rear are each formed as a horizontal plate-like end surface.
[0014] An adjustment member fixture 50 for fixing the focus adjustment ring 31 and the zoom adjustment ring 32 is detachably attached to the housing 20 so as to cover the opening 20a1. The configuration of the adjustment member fixture 50 and the procedure for attaching it to the projection device 10 will be described below with reference to FIGS. 2 to 6. As shown in FIG. 3, the adjustment member fixture 50 includes a first plate portion 51 integrally formed from a sheet metal material, a second plate portion 52 integrally formed from a sheet metal material, a connecting spring member 54 connecting the first plate portion 51 and the second plate portion 52, and a foam material (fixing portion) 56 provided on part of the surface of the first plate portion 51 and part of the surface of the second plate portion 52.
[0015] The first plate portion 51 is made up of a longitudinal plate-like member having a substantially L-shape, one end bent at a substantially right angle to form a first holding portion (pressing portion) 51a that is held on the housing 20 of the projection device 10, and the other end bent at a substantially right angle to form a first gripping portion (gripping portion) 51b that is gripped when attaching (or removing) the adjustment member fixture 50 to the projection device 10. The second plate portion 52 is made up of a longitudinal plate-like member having a substantially L-shape that is longer than the first plate portion 51 in the longitudinal direction, one end bent at a substantially right angle to form a second holding portion (engaging portion) 52a that is held on the housing 20 of the projection device 10, and the tip of the other end bent at a substantially right angle to form a second gripping portion (gripping portion) 52b that is gripped when attaching (or removing) the adjustment member fixture 50 to the projection device 10. The portion connecting second holding portion 52a and second gripping portion 52b is defined as intermediate portion 52c. Both first plate portion 51 and second plate portion 52 have four rounded corners.
[0016] The connecting spring member 54 has a connecting shaft 54a that connects the base end of the first gripping portion 51b of the first plate portion 51 and the base end of the second gripping portion 52b of the second plate portion 52, and a helical spring 54b that is wound around the connecting shaft 54a and applies a resilient force to the first plate portion 51 and the second plate portion 52. The first plate portion 51 and the second plate portion 52 are supported by the connecting shaft 54a that extends in the short direction of the first plate portion 51 and the second plate portion 52 so as to be rotatable about its axis. The first plate portion 51 and the second plate portion 52 are connected by the connecting spring member 54 in a state in which the foam materials 56 of the first plate portion 51 and the second plate portion 52 are biased in directions that bring them closer together. The end of the first retaining portion 51a facing the intermediate portion 52c abuts against the intermediate portion 52c, thereby preventing the first retaining portion 51a and the second retaining portion 52a from coming closer together, thereby maintaining the first retaining portion 51a and the second retaining portion 52a in a state where they face each other in approximately parallel relation.
[0017] The foam material 56 is provided on the plate surface of the first holding portion 51a, specifically, on the surface of the first holding portion 51a facing the second holding portion 52a. The foam material 56 is also provided on a portion of the surface of the second holding portion 52a facing the first holding portion 51a that faces the foam material 56 provided on the first holding portion 51a. Each foam material 56 is provided in a substantially flat plate shape and is made of a silicone material that has excellent gripping properties, flame retardancy, and flexibility. The foam material 56 is attached to the first holding portion 51a and the second holding portion 52a, for example, via an adhesive. The thickness T1 of each foam material 56 is greater than the distance L1 (see FIG. 5) between the top surface 20a of the housing 20 of the projection device 10 and the adjustment ring 30 facing through the opening 20a1.
[0018] In the normal state of the adjustment member fixture 50, the elastic force of the coil spring 54b maintains the first holding portion 51a, the second holding portion 52a, and the intermediate portion 52c in a generally U-shaped state when viewed from the front (hereinafter, this state will be referred to as the "closed state"). Here, FIG. 3 shows a state in which the first holding portion 51a and the second holding portion 52a are slightly opened (separated) from the closed state so that the surfaces of the foam material 56 provided on the first holding portion 51a and the foam material 56 provided on the second holding portion 52a are parallel to each other. In the state shown in FIG. 3, the adjustment member fixture 50 has a distance L2 between the foam material 56 provided on the first holding portion 51a and the foam material 56 provided on the second holding portion 52a that is slightly smaller than the thickness of the housing 20 of the projection device 10.
[0019] In the closed state of the adjustment member fastener 50, the first gripping portion 51b and the second gripping portion 52b are spaced apart such that they move farther apart toward their tips. By pinching the first gripping portion 51b and the second gripping portion 52b, the tips of the first gripping portion 51b and the second gripping portion 52b can be brought closer together against the resilience of the coil spring 54b. As a result, as shown in FIG. 4, the first gripping portion 51a and the second gripping portion 52a are spaced farther apart than in the closed state (hereinafter, this state is referred to as the "open state"). Therefore, the adjustment member fastener 50 can clamp an object between the first gripping portion 51a and the second gripping portion 52a by releasing the pinched first gripping portion 51b and the second gripping portion 52b and changing from the open state to the closed state. In this way, the adjustment member fastener 50 is a clip-like member as a whole.
[0020] The adjustment member fixture 50 configured as described above can be attached to the projection device 10 as follows: As shown in Fig. 4, the first gripping portion 51b and the second gripping portion 52b of the adjustment member fixture 50 are pinched together to set it in an open state, the housing 20 of the projection device 10 is sandwiched between the first holding portion 51a and the second holding portion 52a in such a way that the opening 20a1 of the housing 20 is covered with the foam material 56 of the first holding portion 51a, and the adjustment member fixture 50 is set in a closed state while the middle portion 52c is brought close to the left side surface 20c of the housing 20. 3 is smaller than the thickness of the housing 20 of the projection device 10, the elastic force of the connecting spring member 54 causes the foam material 56 provided on the first holding portion 51a to come into close contact with the upper surface 20a of the housing 20, causing the first plate portion 51 to press against the upper surface 20a via the foam material 56, and the foam material 56 provided on the second holding portion 52a to come into close contact with the lower surface 20b of the housing 20, causing the second plate portion 52 to press against the lower surface 20b (the surface opposite to the upper surface 20a pressed by the first holding portion 51a) via the foam material 56. As a result, the second holding portion 52a engages with the housing 20, and the adjustment member fixture 50 is held relative to the housing 20 with the housing 20 sandwiched between the first plate portion 51 and the second plate portion 52.
[0021] 4 and 5 show an example in which the housing 20 is sandwiched between the first gripping portion 51a and the second gripping portion 52a positioned above the projection device 10. In this case, except for the first gripping portion 51b and the second gripping portion 52b extending upward from the housing 20, the adjustment member fixture 50 can be attached in a state in which it is in contact with or close to the housing 20 of the projection device 10. Specifically, of the adjustment member fixture 50, the first holding portion 51a is in contact with the upper surface 20a of the housing 20, the second holding portion 52a is in contact with the lower surface 20b of the housing 20, and the middle portion 52c is close to the left panel 25 of the housing 20.
[0022] 5, when the adjustment member fixture 50 is held in the housing 20, the foam material 56 covering the opening 20a1 of the housing 20 is flexible, so that the portion that comes into close contact with the upper surface 20a of the housing 20 and the portion that comes into close contact with the adjustment ring 30 are recessed, and the repulsive force presses the edge around the opening 20a1 downward and also presses downward the knurling on the outer periphery of the adjustment ring 30 that is visible from the opening 20a1. Therefore, when the adjustment member fixture 50 is held in the housing 20, the first plate portion 51 and the foam material 56 provided on the first plate portion 51 are prevented from becoming misaligned.
[0023] When the foam material 56 is pressed against the adjustment ring 30 facing through the opening 20a1, the foam material 56 presses against the adjustment ring 30, and the frictional force between the foam material 56 and the adjustment ring 30 restricts the rotation of the adjustment ring 30. In this way, the adjustment ring 30 is fixed by the adjustment member fixture 50 held in the housing 20 of the projection device 10. Note that because the foam material 56 is made of a flexible silicone material, scratches or the like are prevented from occurring on the knurling on the outer periphery of the adjustment ring 30 pressed by the foam material 56.
[0024] 6, the adjustment member fixture 50 can also sandwich the housing 20 with the first gripping portion 51a and the second gripping portion 52a positioned below the projection device 10. In this case, the adjustment member fixture 50 is opened, and the opening 20a1 of the housing 20 of the projection device 10 is covered with the foam material 56 of the second holding portion 52, and the housing 20 is sandwiched between the second holding portion 52a and the first holding portion 51a, and the adjustment member fixture 50 is closed, whereby the adjustment member fixture 50 can be attached to the projection device 10. This allows the adjustment member fixture 50 to be attached in contact with or close to the housing 20 of the projection device 10, except for the first gripping portion 51b and the second gripping portion 52b extending downward from the housing 20. In this case, the foam material 56 provided on the second holding portion 52a is pressed against the upper surface 20a of the housing 20, and the foam material 56 provided on the first holding portion 51a is pressed against the lower surface 20b of the housing 20. The adjustment ring 30 is pressed by the foam material 56 provided on the second holding portion 52a, and its rotation is restricted.
[0025] As described above, the adjustment member fixture 50 according to this embodiment can easily hold the adjustment ring 30 on the housing 20 of the projection device 10 by covering the opening 20a1 of the housing 20 and changing from an open state to a closed state to sandwich the housing 20. Therefore, for example, when the housing 20 of the projection device 10 is installed in a high place such as a ceiling, the adjustment member fixture 50 can be easily attached to the housing from below the projection device 10 with the first gripping portion 51b and the second gripping portion 52b positioned below the projection device 10, and the adjustment ring 30 can be fixed so as not to rotate (see FIG. 6). Furthermore, for example, when the housing 20 of the projection device 10 is installed in a low position such as on the floor, the adjustment member fixture 50 can be easily attached to the housing 20 from above the projection device 10 with the first gripping portion 51b and the second gripping portion 52b positioned above the projection device 10, and the adjustment ring 30 can be fixed so as not to rotate (see FIG. 5). Furthermore, by pinching first grip portion 51b and second grip portion 52b to open them, adjustment member fixture 50 can be easily removed from housing 20. In this way, adjustment member fixture 50 can fix adjustment ring 30 and can be easily attached to and detached from housing 20, even if housing 20 containing lens barrel 80 is installed in a place that is difficult for people to reach.
[0026] The adjustment member fixture 50 also includes a connecting spring member 54 that connects the first plate portion 51 and the second plate portion 52 and applies a resilient force to the first plate portion 51 and the second plate portion 52. The first holding portion 51a is plate-shaped with a foam material 56 provided on its plate surface and presses the housing 20 with the resilient force of the connecting spring member 54, while the second holding portion 52a is plate-shaped and presses the side of the housing 20 opposite the side pressed by the first holding portion 51a with its resilient force. The adjustment member fixture 50 is held relative to the housing 20 by sandwiching the housing 20 between the first holding portion 51a and the second holding portion 52a. Therefore, the adjustment member fixture 50 can be attached in contact with or close to the housing 20 of the projection device 10. Even if the housing 20 is installed in a narrow space surrounded by walls or the like, the adjustment member fixture 50 can be attached to the housing 20 while the adjustment ring 30 is fixed.
[0027] Furthermore, adjustment member fixture 50 includes first gripping portion 51b and second gripping portion 52b that perform an opening and closing operation between first holding portion 51a and second holding portion 52a that sandwich housing 20. Therefore, adjustment member fixture 50 can be easily set to the open state by pinching first gripping portion 51b and second gripping portion 52b, and adjustment member fixture 50 can be easily attached to housing 20.
[0028] Furthermore, in the adjustment member fixture 50, the first gripping portion 51a and the second gripping portion 52a extend from the connecting spring member 54 in a direction (upward (see FIG. 5) or downward (see FIG. 6)) parallel to the pressing direction (downward) of the first holding portion 51a against the housing 20, with the housing 20 sandwiched between the first holding portion 51a and the second holding portion 52a. Therefore, even if the side surface of the housing 20 is surrounded by a wall or the like and it is difficult to attach the adjustment member fixture 50 from the side of the housing 20, the adjustment member fixture 50 can be easily attached to the housing 20 from above or below the housing 20.
[0029] Furthermore, in the adjustment member fixture 50, the foam material 54 is provided not only on the plate surface of the first holding portion 51a but also on the plate surface of the second holding portion 52a. This allows the adjustment member fixture 50 to be attached to the housing 20 of the projection device 10 by sandwiching the housing 20 between the second holding portion 52a and the first holding portion 51a so that the opening 20a1 of the housing 20 is covered by the foam material 56 of the second holding portion 52. Therefore, the adjustment member fixture 50 can be attached to the housing 20 while fixing the adjustment ring 30 from either the top or bottom of the housing 20.
[0030] Furthermore, the adjustment member fixture 50 is held in the housing 20 with the foam material 56 covering the opening 20a1 that faces the adjustment ring 30 of the housing 20. As a result, with the adjustment member fixture 50 held in the housing 20, the foam material 56 is in close contact with the adjustment ring 30 and also with the top surface 20a of the housing 20, preventing the first plate portion 51 and the foam material 56 provided on the first plate portion 51 from shifting positions. This allows the adjustment member fixture 50 to be firmly attached to the housing 20.
[0031] Furthermore, in the adjustment member fixture 50, the foam material 56 is made of a flexible material, which allows the foam material 56 to adhere more closely to the adjustment ring 30 and the housing 20.
[0032] (Second embodiment) Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figures 7 and 8. The configuration of the projection device 10 to which an adjustment member holder 150 according to the second embodiment is attached is the same as that of the first embodiment, and therefore description thereof will be omitted. As shown in Figure 7, the adjustment member holder 150 according to the second embodiment includes a first plate portion 151 integrally formed from a sheet metal material, a second plate portion 152 integrally formed from a sheet metal material, a connecting spring member 154 connecting the first plate portion 151 and the second plate portion 152, and a foam material (fixing portion) 156 provided on a part of the surface of the first plate portion 151 and a part of the surface of the second plate portion 152.
[0033] The first plate portion 151 and the second plate portion 152 are both made up of a substantially rectangular plate-like member and a plate-like member rising from the plate-like member, and form a substantially T-shape overall. The first plate portion 151 has a substantially middle portion in the longitudinal direction of the substantially rectangular plate-like member as a boundary, and one side of the first plate portion 151 is a first holding portion (pressing portion) 151a that is held by the housing 20 of the projection device 10, and the other side is a first gripping portion (gripping portion) 151b that is gripped when attaching the adjustment member fixture 150 to the projection device 10. A portion that rises slightly from the substantially middle portion in the longitudinal direction toward the second plate portion 152 is a first connecting portion 151c that is connected to the second plate portion 152. The second plate portion 152 has a boundary at approximately the middle part in the longitudinal direction of the approximately rectangular plate-like member, and one side (the side opposite the first holding portion 151a) is a second holding portion (engagement portion) 152a that is held on the housing 20 of the projection device 10, and the other side is a second holding portion (holding portion) 152b that is held when attaching the adjustment member fixing device 150 to the projection device 10, and the portion that rises slightly from approximately the middle part in the longitudinal direction toward the first plate portion 151 is a second connecting portion 152c that connects to the first plate portion 151.
[0034] The connecting spring member 154 has a connecting shaft 154a that connects the tip of the first connecting portion 151c of the first plate portion 151 and the tip of the second connecting portion 152c of the second plate portion 152, and a helical spring 154b that is wound around the connecting shaft 154a and applies a resilient force to the first plate portion 151 and the second plate portion 152. The first plate portion 151 and the second plate portion 152 are supported by the connecting shaft 154a that extends in the short direction of the first plate portion 151 and the second plate portion 152 so as to be rotatable about its axis. The first plate portion 151 and the second plate portion 152 are connected in a state in which they are biased by the connecting spring member 154. Furthermore, a portion of the tip of first connecting portion 151c and a portion of the tip of second connecting portion 152c come into contact with each other, thereby restricting first holding portion 151a and second holding portion 152a from coming closer together, thereby maintaining first holding portion 151a and second holding portion 152a in a state facing each other in a substantially parallel relationship. In adjustment member holder 150, first plate portion 151 and second plate portion 152 have a symmetrical structure with connecting spring member 154 sandwiched therebetween.
[0035] The foam material 156 is provided on the surface of the first holding portion 151a facing the second holding portion 152a, and on the surface of the second holding portion 152a facing the first holding portion 151a. The shape, material, thickness, etc. of each foam material 156 are the same as those of the foam material 56 in the first embodiment.
[0036] In the normal state of adjustment member fixture 150, first holding portion 151a, second holding portion 152a, and first connecting portion 151c and second connecting portion 152c, which are connected to each other, are maintained in a generally U-shaped state in front view by the elastic force of coil spring 154b (hereinafter, this state is referred to as the "closed state"). Here, Fig. 7 shows a state in which first holding portion 151a and second holding portion 152a are slightly opened (separated) from the closed state so that the surface of foam material 156 provided in first holding portion 151a and the surface of foam material 156 provided in second holding portion 152a are parallel to each other. In the state shown in Figure 7, the adjustment member fixing device 150 has a distance L3 between the foam material 156 provided in the first holding portion 151a and the foam material 156 provided in the second holding portion 152a that is slightly smaller than the thickness of the housing 20 of the projection device 10.
[0037] In addition, in the closed state of adjustment member fixture 150, first gripping portion 151b and second gripping portion 152b are spaced apart. By pinching first gripping portion 151b and second gripping portion 152b from this closed state, the tip of first gripping portion 151b and the tip of second gripping portion 152b can be brought closer together against the elastic force of coil spring 154b. This results in a state in which first holding portion 151a and second holding portion 152a are spaced apart more than in the closed state (hereinafter, this state is referred to as the "open state"). Therefore, adjustment member fixture 150 can clamp an object between first holding portion 151a and second holding portion 152a by releasing pinched first gripping portion 151b and second gripping portion 152b to change from the open state to the closed state.
[0038] The adjustment member fixture 150 configured as described above can be attached to the projection device 10 in the same manner as the adjustment member fixture 50 of the first embodiment. That is, the adjustment member fixture 150 is opened, the housing 20 is sandwiched between the first holding portion 151a and the second holding portion 152a so as to cover the opening 20a1 of the housing 20 with the foam material 156, and the adjustment member fixture 150 is closed while the first connecting portion 151c and the second connecting portion 152c are brought close to the left side surface 20c of the housing 20. As a result, the second holding portion 152a engages with the housing 20, and the adjustment member fixture 150 is held relative to the housing 20 in a manner such that the housing 20 is sandwiched between the first plate portion 151 and the second plate portion 152, as shown in FIG. 8 . The adjustment member fixture 150 may be attached to the housing 20 in such a way that the opening 20a1 of the housing 20 is covered by the foam material 156 of the first holding portion 151a, or in such a way that the opening 20a1 is covered by the foam material 156 of the second holding portion 152a. In either attachment mode, the adjustment member fixture 150 attached to the housing 20 is in such a way that the first gripping portion 151a and the second gripping portion 152a are positioned on the left side of the projection device 10.
[0039] As described above, in adjustment member fixture 150 according to this embodiment, first gripping portion 151a and second gripping portion 152a extend from connecting spring member 154 in a direction (left side (see FIG. 8 )) perpendicular to the direction (downward) in which first holding portion 151a presses against housing 20. Therefore, even if, for example, a wall or the like is arranged above or below housing 20 and it is difficult to attach adjustment member fixture 150 from above or below housing 20, adjustment member fixture 150 can be easily attached to housing 20 from the left side of housing 20, and adjustment ring 30 can be fixed. Furthermore, adjustment member fixture 150 can be easily removed from housing 20 by pinching first gripping portion 151b and second gripping portion 152b to open the adjustment member fixture 150.
[0040] (Third embodiment) Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figures 9 and 10. The configuration of the projection device 10 to which an adjustment member holder 250 according to the third embodiment is attached is the same as that of the first embodiment, and therefore description thereof will be omitted. As shown in Figure 9, the adjustment member holder 250 according to the third embodiment includes a first plate portion 251 integrally formed from a sheet metal material, a second plate portion 252 integrally formed from a sheet metal material, a connecting shaft 254 connecting the first plate portion 251 and the second plate portion 252, a fixing screw (fastening member) 255 for fixing the first plate portion 251 to the second plate portion 252, and a foam material (fixing portion) 256 provided on the surface of the first plate portion 251.
[0041] The first plate portion 251 is a plate-like member having an approximately rectangular shape, and its plate surface serves as a holding portion (pressing portion) 251a, one end serves as a first connecting portion 251b that is connected to the second plate portion 252, and the portion that rises shallowly from the edge of the holding portion 251a on the side of the first connecting portion 251b serves as a rising portion 251c. The second plate portion 252 is a long, thin plate-like member whose width is narrowed approximately at the middle in the longitudinal direction, and its plate surface is plate-like portion 252a, a portion extending in a hook shape from a tip end (one end) of plate-like portion 252a is hook portion (engagement portion) 252b, a base end (the other end) of plate-like portion 252a is second connecting portion 252c connected to first plate portion 251, and a portion extending in a plate shape from the base end (the other end) of plate-like portion 252a toward first plate portion 251 is protruding portion 252d. The first plate portion 251 and the second plate portion 252 are loosely fitted together by a connecting shaft 254 extending in the short direction of the first plate portion 251 and the second plate portion 252 so as to be rotatable around the axis. The adjustment member fixture 250 is connected by a connecting shaft 254 so that the second plate portion 252 is at a substantially right angle to the first plate portion 251, and has a substantially L-shape as a whole.
[0042] The hook portion 252b of the second plate portion 252 is provided so as to be bent in a generally U-shape, shallowly rising from the tip of the plate-shaped portion 252a toward the holding portion 251a of the first plate portion 251. The rising height of the rising portion of the hook portion 255b is set to be generally equal to the depth of the groove portion 22b provided in the lower case 22 of the housing 20 of the projection device 10.
[0043] The protruding portion 252d of the second plate portion 252 protrudes in a short plate shape from the second connecting portion 252 toward the first plate portion 251 so that its plate surface is parallel to the plate surface of the first plate portion 251, and a screw hole into which a fixing screw 255 is screwed is provided at approximately the center of the protruding portion 252d so as to penetrate the plate surface. The rising portion 251c of the first plate portion 251 stands in a position located in the gap between the protruding portion 252d and the holding portion 251a. Therefore, the rising portion 251c interferes with (abuts against) the protruding portion 252d, thereby restricting further rotation of the first plate portion 251 toward the plate portion 252a of the second plate portion 252. When the rising portion 251c interferes with the protruding portion 252d, the first plate portion 251 is maintained so that its plate surface is approximately perpendicular to the plate surface of the plate portion 252a of the second plate portion 252.
[0044] The fixing screw 255 is threaded into a screw hole in the overhanging portion 252d, and its tip portion passes through the screw hole so that a tip surface 255a faces the plate surface of the holding portion 251a of the first plate portion 251. Therefore, the holding portion 251a interferes with (abuts against) the tip surface 255a of the fixing screw 255, thereby restricting further rotation of the first plate portion 251 toward the overhanging portion 252d. When the fixing screw 255 is not screwed deeply into the screw hole (hereinafter referred to as a "loosened state of the fixing screw 255"), the tip surface 255a of the fixing screw 255 is separated from the holding portion 251a or only a portion of it abuts against the holding portion 251a, so that the first plate portion 251 can be slightly moved around the axis of the connecting shaft 254 relative to the second plate portion 252. When the fixing screw 255 is further screwed (tightened) into the screw hole from this state, almost the entire tip surface 255a of the fixing screw 255 comes into contact with the plate surface of the holding portion 251a, and the raised portion 251c comes into contact with the protruding portion 252d (hereinafter referred to as the "state in which the fixing screw 255 is tightened"), and the first plate portion 251 is fixed to the second plate portion 252 by the fastening force of the fixing screw 255.
[0045] The foam material 256 is provided on the surface of the holding portion 251a on the side facing the hook portion 252b (opposite the side facing the protruding portion 252d). The shape, material, thickness, etc. of the foam material 256 are the same as those of the foam material 56 in the first embodiment. With the adjustment member fixture 50 in a state in which the fixing screw 255 is fastened, the distance L4 between the foam material 256 and the tip end of the plate-shaped portion 252a (the portion from which the hook portion 252b extends) is set to be slightly smaller than the thickness of the housing 20 of the projection device 10.
[0046] The adjustment member fixture 250 configured as described above can be attached to the projection device 10 as follows. First, as shown in FIG. 10(a), with the fixing screw 255 loosened, the hook portion 252b is hooked onto and engaged with the groove portion 22b provided in the lower case 22 of the housing 20 of the projection device 10. Next, as shown in FIG. 10(b), with the hook portion 252b engaged with the groove portion 22b, the first plate portion 251 is placed over the upper surface 21 of the housing 20 of the projection device 10 so that the foam material 256 covers the opening 20a1 of the housing 20. Next, the fixing screw 255 is tightened. As a result, the first plate portion 251 is fixed to the second plate portion 252, and the foam material 256 is pressed toward the housing 20 by the fixing screw 255. As a result, foam material 256 comes into close contact with upper surface 20a of housing 20 and adjustment ring 30, and as foam material 256 dents, its repulsive force presses the edge around opening 20a1 downward and also presses the knurling on the outer periphery of adjustment ring 30 exposed through opening 20a1 downward (the state shown in FIG. 10(c)). In this state, adjustment member fixture 250 is held relative to housing 20 by the principle of leverage, with the points of force at which foam material 256 comes into close contact with housing 20 and adjustment ring 30 serving as the force point, the points at which rising portion 251c abuts against protruding portion 252d serving as the fulcrum, and the points at which hook portion 252b engages with groove portion 22b serving as the force point.
[0047] As described above, the adjustment member fixture 250 according to this embodiment can be held in the housing 20 of the projection device 10 by tightening the fixing screw 255 that is fastened to the overhanging portion 252d. Therefore, even if the housing is installed in a high place or a narrow space where it is not possible to pinch a part of the adjustment member fixture 250, for example, the adjustment member fixture 150 can be easily attached to the housing 20 and the adjustment ring 30 can be fixed. Furthermore, the adjustment member fixture 250 can be easily removed from the housing 20 by loosening the fixing screw 255.

These novel embodiments can be embodied in various other forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention.
