Abstract

To appropriately perform provisioning in both communication systems using a DHCP server and a TFTP server of one communication system when a plurality of communication systems are operated in a mixed manner.SOLUTION: A communication system 1 includes: a DOCSIS system 10 having an external server 12 that manages a CMTS 14; and a PON system 20 having a management server 21 that manages an OLT 23. The external server 12 has a DHCP server 121 and a TFTP server 122. The management server 21 generates policy information that defines a correspondence relation between a MAC address and a configuration file for an ONU 24 connected to the OLT 23 via an optical cable. The external server 12 updates information of the DHCP server 121 based on the policy information. The management server 21 transmits the configuration file corresponding to the policy information to the TFTP server 122 of the external server 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
