[Figure 7] FIG. 10 is a vertical cross-sectional view of an interposition structure according to a modified example of the second embodiment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0007] A first embodiment of the present disclosure will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, a garden room 100 is installed outside a building along an exterior wall 200 of the building as an external structure. The garden room 100 is installed, for example, near an opening such as a window formed in the building, protruding outdoors. The garden room 100 has a front portion 110, a side portion 120, a roof portion 130, columns 140, girders 150, and an intermediate structure 1. In this specification, the front side F refers to the side away from the exterior wall 200 of the building toward the outdoors, and the rear side R refers to the side toward the exterior wall 200. The front-to-rear direction FR refers to the direction connecting the front side F and the rear side R.

[0008] The front section 110 is located at a distance from the exterior wall 200 toward the outdoors, and is positioned at the front of the garden room 100. The front section 110 extends in the left-right direction when viewed from the front of the garden room 100. The side section 120 is positioned to connect the exterior wall 200 and the front section 110. On the front section 110 and the side section 120, for example, wainscoting 101, lighting panels 102, and an openable / closable folding door 103 that serves as an entrance and exit are arranged.

[0009] The roof section 130 is a section that covers the upper part of the space extending from the exterior wall 200 to the front face section 110. The roof section 130 has rafters 135 that are arranged so as to span from the exterior wall 200 side to the upper end of the front face section 110, and plate-shaped roofing materials 136 that are provided between the rafters 135.

[0010] The pillars 140 are arranged along the exterior wall 200, with their lower ends buried in the ground and fixed thereto. The pillars 140 are arranged so as to be in contact with the exterior wall 200. However, the pillars 140 are not fixed to the exterior wall with screws or other members. Because the pillars 140 and the exterior wall 200 are separate structures, a gap G1 exists between the separate structures. As shown in FIG. 2A, a pair of pillars 140 are arranged near the exterior wall 200 on both the left and right sides of the garden room 100 when viewed from the front. If necessary, a pillar may be placed midway between the pair of pillars.

[0011] The girder 150 is arranged to connect the upper ends of a pair of columns 140. The girder 150 is a long, rectangular cylindrical member. The rafters 135 and roof material 136 of the roof section 130 are connected to the front of the girder 150 and extend to the front side F. The upper surface 151 of the girder 150, together with the roof section 130, forms the upper surface of the garden room 100, and the intermediate structure 1 is installed on the upper surface 151 of the girder 150. As in the case of the columns 140, a gap G1 exists between the rear surface of the girder 150 and the exterior wall 200 due to the fact that the girder 150 and the exterior wall 200 are separate structures.

[0012] The interposed structure 1 is placed on the upper surface of the garden room 100 and closes the gap G1 formed between the garden room 100 and the exterior wall 200. The interposed structure 1 has a fixing member 10, a closing member 20, a support portion 30, and an adhesive 40.

[0013] The fixing member 10 is a long member that is arranged along the upper surface of the girder 150 from one end to the other in the longitudinal direction of the girder 150 and is fixed to the girder 150. As shown in FIG. 3 , the fixing member 10 is formed to be bent so as to have a portion that runs along the girder 150 side and a portion that extends along the exterior wall 200 side, and has a fixing portion 11, an inclined portion 12, an upright portion 13, and a water-reflecting portion 14.

[0014] The fixed part 11 is fixed to the upper surface 151 of the girder 150 with screws. The fixed part 11 has a fixed part main body 111 and support legs 112. The fixed part main body 111 has a plate-like shape that is generally rectangular in plan view. The front end of the fixed part main body 111 is aligned with the front end of the girder 150. The support legs 112 extend from the back side of the fixed part main body 111 toward the upper surface of the girder 150, and the lower end of the support legs 112 abuts against the upper surface 151 of the girder 150.

[0015] The inclined portion 12 is a portion that inclines upward from the rear end of the fixed portion main body 111 toward the rear side R. The inclined portion 12 and the fixed portion 11 are formed continuously and cover the upper surface of the girder 150.

[0016] The standing portion 13 is a surface extending upward from the rear end of the inclined portion 12 in a side view. The standing portion 13 extends opposite the outer wall 200 and is disposed at a distance from the outer wall 200 to the front side F. The standing portion 13 has a first standing portion 131 and a second standing portion 132. The first standing portion 131 extends upward from the rear end of the inclined portion 12 substantially parallel to the outer wall 200. The second standing portion 132 is disposed above the center of the entire first standing portion 131 in the up-down direction and is inclined from the upper end of the first standing portion 131 to the rear side R.

[0017] The water returning portion 14 is a protrusion that protrudes from the standing portion 13 toward the front side F. The water returning portion 14 protrudes toward the front side F so as to branch off from the standing portion 13 in a cross-sectional view at the boundary between the first standing portion 131 and the second standing portion 132 of the standing portion 13. The water returning portion 14 protrudes at an upward incline as it proceeds toward the front side F. The water returning portion 14 prevents rainwater and the like from splashing back and entering between the standing portion 13 and the cover portion 22 of the blocking member 20, which will be described later.

[0018] The support portion 30 is composed of a flat surface extending from the upper end of the second upright portion 132 of the fixing member 10 to the rear side R. The support portion 30 is formed continuously with the fixing member 10. The support portion 30 extends in the front-rear direction FR of the intervention structure 1 and is formed from one end of the fixing member 10 to the other in the longitudinal direction. The support portion 30 supports the back surface of the connection portion 23 of the blocking member 20, which will be described later.

[0019] The blocking member 20 is disposed above the fixing member 10 and is an elongated member having the same length as the fixing member 10. The blocking member 20 has an upper portion adhered to the exterior wall 200 and a lower portion partially covering the exterior wall side of the fixing member 10, thereby blocking the gap G1 between the exterior wall 200 and the interposed structure 1. The blocking member 20 has an adhesive portion 21, a covering portion 22, a connecting portion 23, and an engaging portion 24.

[0020] The adhesive portion 21 is disposed on the upper portion of the blocking member 20 and is adhered to the exterior wall 200. The adhesive portion 21 has an adhesive portion main body 210 and support legs 211. The adhesive portion main body 210 has a rectangular plate shape when viewed from the front. The support legs 211 are multiple protrusions extending from the back side of the adhesive portion main body 210 toward the exterior wall 200. The support legs 211 are disposed at intervals in the vertical direction, and the ends of the support legs 211 contact the exterior wall 200. An adhesive 40 (described later) is provided on the back side of the adhesive portion 21, and the adhesive portion 21 is adhered to the exterior wall 200. When the interposed structure 1 is installed, a sealant 41 is filled in the portion where the support legs 211 extend between the exterior wall 200 and the front surface of the adhesive portion 21.

[0021] The cover portion 22 has a surface that is arranged to cover the upper part of the standing portion 13 of the fixing member 10. The cover portion 22 is arranged at an angle so as to protrude toward the front side F from the upper end toward the lower end. The cover portion 22 is arranged to cover the front side F beyond the water return portion 14 of the fixing member 10. A locking protrusion 222 for locking the elastic member 221 is formed on the back surface of the lower end of the cover portion 22. The elastic member 221 is a fin-shaped rubber packing. The elastic member 221 is locked to the locking protrusion 222, closing the gap G2 between the cover portion 22 and the standing portion 13.

[0022] The connecting portion 23 has a flat surface that connects the upper end of the cover portion 22 and the lower end of the adhesive portion 21. The connecting portion 23 is a surface that contacts the support portion 30. The connecting portion 23 extends in the front-to-rear direction FR of the interposition structure 1. The rear end of the connecting portion 23 is positioned in a position that is aligned in the up-down direction with the rear ends of the support legs 211 of the adhesive portion 21, and extends from the rear end to the front side F, extending beyond the adhesive portion main body 210 to the front side F. The front end of the connecting portion 23 is continuous with the upper end of the cover portion 22.

[0023] The engaging portion 24 extends downward from a position slightly shifted forward F from the rear end of the connecting portion 23. As shown in FIG. 3, the rear end of the support portion 30 abuts against the surface of the front side F of the engaging portion 24. As shown in FIG. 4, even if the blocking member 20 tilts forward F due to a load applied from above, causing the sealing material 41 to break and the adhesive portion 21 to separate from the outer wall 200, the engaging portion 24 engages with the rear end of the support portion 30, thereby preventing the blocking member 20 from falling off.

[0024] The adhesive 40 is made of a high-strength material for an outer wall. The adhesive 40 is disposed between the outer wall 200 and the end of the support leg 211 in the adhesive portion 21 of the blocking member 20. The adhesive 40 has the shape of a double-sided tape, but is not limited to this.

[0025] The function of the interposed structure 1 will now be described. As shown in FIG. 1, the rafters 135 and roofing materials 136 that constitute the roof portion 130 are connected to the girder 150. Therefore, when there is a large amount of rain or snow, the roof portion 130 bends downward due to a load applied from above. The girder 150 itself bears the load of rain and snow, and is pulled downward by the bending of the roof portion 130, causing the girder 150 to bend downward. Therefore, the fixing member 10 fixed to the girder 150 moves downward together with the girder 150. Because the closing member 20 is bonded to the exterior wall 200, it is less affected by the movement of the upper surface 151 of the girder 150 and the roof portion 130 than the fixing member 10. When a downward load due to rain or snow is applied to the upper part of the adhesive portion 21, the adhesive portion 21 is likely to peel off from the exterior wall 200. The back surface of the connecting portion 23 of the closing member 20, which is located at the lower end of the adhesive portion 21, is supported by the support portion 30 extending from the second upright portion 132 of the fixing member 10. The connecting portion 23 is placed on the support portion 30 but is not adhered thereto. Therefore, the closing member 20 does not move in conjunction with the fixing member 10 when the fixing member 10 bends downward. As long as the fixing member 10 does not bend downward and sink, the closing member 20 is supported by the support portion 30 of the fixing member 10, which prevents the adhesive portion 21 from peeling off and the closing member 20 from falling off.

[0026] The first embodiment provides the following advantages. The interposed structure 1 is configured to close a gap G1 formed between a garden room 100 installed outside a building and an exterior wall 200 of the building. The interposed structure 1 includes a fixing member 10 arranged along and fixed to an upper surface 151 of the garden room 100, a closing member 20 arranged above the fixing member 10 and bonded to the exterior wall 200, and partially covering the exterior wall side of the fixing member 10 to close the gap G1, and a support portion 30 that supports the closing member 20. Since the closing member 20 can be fixed to the exterior wall 200 solely by bonding, the strength of the exterior wall 200 can be maintained at a high level. Since the closing member 20 can be fixed to the exterior wall 200 simply by applying the adhesive 40, workability is improved. In the event of heavy rainfall or snowfall, the adhesive portion 21 of the closing member 20 bonded to the exterior wall 200 is subject to loads due to its own weight, rainwater, and accumulated snow, making it prone to peeling. Furthermore, the sealing material filled between the adhesive portion 21 and the exterior wall 200 is more likely to break. However, since the blocking member 20 is supported by the support portion 30, the blocking member 20 is less likely to fall off.

[0027] According to the first embodiment, the support portion 30 is formed to extend from the upper end of the fixing member 10. Because the support portion 30 is formed to extend from the upper end of the fixing member 10, when the fixing member 10 is fixed to the upper surface portion 151 of the girder 150, the position of the support portion 30 provided on the fixing member 10 is determined. Therefore, the adhesive position of the blocking member 20 can be easily positioned by arranging the blocking member 20 so that it is supported by the support portion 30. This improves workability.

[0028] According to the first embodiment, the support portion 30 is formed by a flat surface that supports the back surface of the blocking member 20, and the blocking member 20 is configured to include an engagement portion 24 that extends downward from a connection portion 23 that contacts the support portion 30 in the blocking member 20 and engages with an end portion of the support portion 30. Because the engagement portion 24 engages with the end portion of the support portion 30, even if the adhesive portion 21 peels off from the outer wall 200 and tilts forward, the engagement portion 24 prevents the blocking member 20 from tilting further forward or from rotating forward and falling off the fixing member 10.

[0029] The present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and modifications, improvements, and the like within the scope of achieving the object of the present disclosure are included in the present disclosure. In the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the girder 150 and the column 140 are arranged so as to be in contact with the exterior wall 200. However, as in the modified example of the first embodiment shown in FIG. 5, there are cases where the gap G1 between the girder 150 and the column 140 and the exterior wall 200 is large. This is because, depending on the construction site, a flashing material may be arranged on the lower end side of the exterior wall 200, and if the column 140 is arranged in contact with the flashing material, a gap G1 will open between the column 140 and the exterior wall 200. Even in such cases, the interposed structure 1A can suitably close the gap G1 by moving the fixing position of the fixing member 10 to the rear side R of the girder 150.

[0030] The fixing member 10 is arranged to extend in a cantilevered manner from the rear side R of the girder 150 to the rear side R. The fixing member 10 is fixed to an appropriate position from the center of the girder 150 in the fore-and-aft direction FR to near the rear end, in accordance with the dimensions of the gap G1. The blocking member 20 is adhered to the exterior wall 200, and the engaging portion 24 of the blocking member 20 engages with the rear end of the support portion 30. Therefore, the support portion 30A of the fixing member 10 is supported by the engaging portion 24 from the exterior wall 200 side, preventing the cantilevered fixing member 10 from tipping toward the rear side R. Although it varies depending on the dimensions of the intermediate structure 1A itself, the gap G1 may be, for example, approximately 100 mm or less.

[0031] As in the second embodiment of the interposed structure 1B shown in FIG. 6 , the support portion 30B may be separate from the fixing member 10. The support portion 30B of the second embodiment is an angle member bent at a substantially right angle in cross section, and is composed of a support member separate from the fixing member 10 and the blocking member 20. While the fixing member 10 and the blocking member 20 extend from one end to the other in the longitudinal direction of the girder 150, the support portion 30B is arranged with multiple gaps between one end and the other in the longitudinal direction of the fixing member 10 and the blocking member 20. In other words, the length of the support portion 30B is shorter than the lengths of the fixing member 10 and the blocking member 20. The support portion 30B has a fixing surface 31, an upward extension surface 32, and a support surface 33.

[0032] The fixing surface 31 is a long plate surface that is approximately rectangular in plan view. The fixing surface 31 is disposed on the upper surface portion 151 of the beam 150 on the back side of the fixing member 10. The fixing surface 31 is in direct surface contact with the upper surface portion 151 and is fixed with screws.

[0033] The upward extending surface 32 is a plate surface that extends upward from the end of the rear side R of the fixing surface 31. The upward extending surface 32 extends in the vertical direction on the rear side R of the standing portion 13 of the fixing member 10. The upward extending surface 32 and the fixing surface 31 extend in directions that are approximately perpendicular to each other.

[0034] The support surface 33 is a surface located at the upper end of the upward extending surface 32, and is bent from the upper end of the upward extending surface 32 toward the rear side R, extending approximately parallel to the fixing surface 31. The dimension of the support surface 33 along the front-to-rear direction FR of the interposition structure 1 is smaller than the dimension of the connection portion 23 along the front-to-rear direction FR. The support surface 33 is in direct surface contact with the rear side R of the back surface of the connection portion 23, and supports the back surface of the connection portion 23.

[0035] According to the second embodiment, the support portion 30B is disposed on the upper surface portion 151 behind the fixing member 10 and is configured as a support member separate from the fixing member 10 and the blocking member 20. The blocking member 20 needs to be positioned relative to the upper surface portion 151 of the girder 150 and the fixing member 10. By supporting the blocking member 20 by placing it on the support portion 30B disposed on the upper surface portion 151 behind the fixing member 10, it becomes easier to determine the position where the blocking member 20 is to be adhered. This improves workability. Because the support portion 30B is configured as a support member separate from the fixing member 10 and the blocking member 20, existing fixing members 10 and blocking members 20 can be used, and the interposed structure 1B can be easily manufactured by manufacturing only the support portion 30B configured as a separate support member.

[0036] According to the second embodiment, the support portion 30B is configured to include a fixing surface 31 that contacts the upper surface portion 151, an upward extending surface 32 that extends upward from the fixing surface 31, and a support surface 33 that is disposed at the upper end of the upward extending surface 32 and supports the back surface of the blocking member 20. With this shape, when the fixing surface 31 of the support portion 30 is supported by the upper surface portion 151, the support surface 33 directly supports the back surface of the blocking member 20 via the upward extending surface 32, thereby more stably and firmly supporting the blocking member 20. This makes it easier to prevent the blocking member 20 from falling off and to position it. The upward extending surface 32 supports the back surface of the blocking member 10, thereby contributing to maintaining the shape of the blocking member 10.

[0037] 7, there are cases where the gap G1 is large between the girder 150 and the column 140 and the exterior wall 200. The intervention structure 1C can effectively close the gap G1 by moving the fixing position of the support part 30C to the rear side R of the girder 150.

[0038] The fixing surface 31 of the support portion 30C is arranged to extend cantilevered from the rear side R of the girder 150 to the rear side R. The fixing member 10 is fixed to an appropriate position from the center of the girder 150 in the fore-and-aft direction FR to near the rear end, in accordance with the dimension of the gap G1. Although it varies depending on the dimension of the intervening structure 1C itself, the gap G1 may be, for example, approximately 100 mm or less.

[0039] In yet another embodiment, when the column 140 or the girder 150 is disposed in contact with the exterior wall 200, the separate support portion 30D may be formed by cutting a rubber plate or wooden scrap obtained at the construction site. The rubber plate or wooden scrap may be glued to the upper surface of the girder 150 and placed along the exterior wall 200, with its upper end supporting the back surface of the connection portion 23 of the blocking member 20. With this configuration, there is no need to newly manufacture a fixing member 10 having the support portion 30 or to separately manufacture the support portion 30B from a new member. Furthermore, since the first upright portion 131 of the fixing member 10 can be supported by the rubber plate or wooden scrap, both the fixing member 10 and the blocking member 20 can be sturdily supported.

[0040] In the embodiment described above, the garden room 100 was used as an example of an external structure of a building, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the specific shape and configuration are not limited as long as the structure is located outside the building, such as a terrace or greenhouse, whose front portion 110 and side portion 120 are open and do not include boards such as wainscoting 101, lighting panels 102, or folding doors 103, and which only has a roof supported by pillars located at the corners.

[0041] In the embodiment described above, the upper surface of the external structure of the building is described as the upper surface 151 of the girder 150, but it is not limited to this. It may be a roof, rafters, or other structure as long as it is placed on the upper surface of the external structure of the building. [Explanation of symbols]
