Abstract

The present invention relates to para-amino-benzyl linker compounds useful for linking a drug moiety to an antibody, linker-drug compounds in which the para-amino-benzyl linker compounds are covalently attached to a drug moiety, and antibody-drug conjugates in which the para-amino-benzyl linker compounds are covalently attached to a drug moiety, wherein the drug is enzymatically cleaved from the conjugate in a specific cell or tissue type targeted by the antibody.
