AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing powder-containing cosmetics face issues with powder agglomeration, leading to uneven dispersion and adhesion, particularly with talc, titanium oxide, and zinc oxide, which affects the cosmetic film's appearance and feel.

Method used

Incorporation of Gemini surfactants, such as behendimonium ethyl phosphate stearyl, and polysaccharides like xanthan gum, along with oils and specific ratios, to enhance powder dispersibility and adhesion.

Benefits of technology

Improves powder dispersibility and adhesion to the skin, resulting in a uniform cosmetic film with improved makeup staying power and reduced powdery feel.
