Abstract

To enable an engineer or the like to understand the processing status of a medical image without going back and forth between a plurality of devices.SOLUTION: An image processing workstation according to the present invention is an image processing device that is connected to, via a communication network constructed in a medical facility, an imaging control device for controlling a medical imaging device and a medical image management system including a medical image management device and a medical image reproduction device, and that can receive a medical image transmitted from the imaging control device, perform image processing on the received medical images, and output an image processing result to an output destination including the medical image management device. A control unit of the image processing workstation manages status information indicating a processing status of the medical image received from the imaging control device, and provides the status information to one or more external devices used in a process upstream of reception of the medical image of the image processing device at least in the workflow from an imaging reservation of the medical image to display of the image processing result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6A
