[Figure 7] FIG. 10 is a perspective view showing a main part of a ventilation door according to a second embodiment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0009] [First embodiment] A first embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. As shown in Figures 1 to 4, the ventilation door 1 of the first embodiment is a ventilation door to be placed at the back door of a building, and comprises a door frame 2 attached to the opening of the back door of the building, a door body 5 placed within this door frame 2, a ventilation window frame 6 placed within the door body 5, an outer shoji screen 7 and an inner shoji screen 8 for a casement window that are placed within the ventilation window frame 6, and a mesh lattice 9 attached to the exterior surface of the door body 5. Note that Figure 4 is a perspective view of the door frame 2 and door body 5 with the mesh lattice 9 removed.

[0010] The door frame 2 is formed by joining an upper frame 10, a lower frame 20, and left and right vertical frames 30, 40 into a rectangular frame shape. The upper frame 10 is configured to include an upper frame body 11 made of aluminum extrusion material and a synthetic resin cover material 15. Similarly, the lower frame 20 and vertical frames 30, 40 are configured to include a lower frame body 21 and vertical frame bodies 31, 41 made of aluminum extrusion material and synthetic resin cover materials 25, 35, 45. Airtight materials 19, 29, 39, 49 that abut the interior surface of the door body 5 are attached to each cover material 15, 25, 35, 45. These airtight materials 19, 29, 39, 49 prevent outside air from flowing into the interior space through gaps 101-104 between the door frame 2 and the door body 5.

[0011] The door body 5 is composed of a frame made up of an upper frame 51, a lower frame 52, and left and right vertical frames 53, 54, with a ventilation window frame 6, an outer shoji screen 7, and an inner shoji screen 8 assembled inside. The upper frame 51, the lower frame 52, and the vertical frames 53, 54 are each made up of aluminum exterior members 510, 520, 530, 540 combined with synthetic resin interior members 515, 525, 535, 545, improving heat insulation. A vertical frame 53 on the hanging side of the door body 5 is attached to the vertical frame 30 on the hanging side of the door frame 2 via a hinge 55. This allows the door body 5 to be attached to the door frame 2 so that it can be opened and closed freely. A handle 56 is attached to a vertical frame 54 on the door tip side of the door body 5. An airtight material 57 is attached to the vertical frame 53 to close the gap 103 on the outdoor side of the airtight material 39. An airtight material 58 is attached to the edge cover portion of the vertical frame 54.

[0012] The ventilation window frame 6 comprises an upper ventilation frame 61, a lower ventilation frame 62, and vertical ventilation frames 63 and 64. The upper ventilation frame 61 is disposed between the upper ends of the left and right vertical ventilation frames 63 and 64 and is fixed to the upper frame 51. The lower ventilation frame 62 is disposed between the lower ends of the vertical ventilation frames 63 and 64 and is fixed to the lower frame 52. The ventilation vertical frames 63, 64 are arranged on the inner periphery of the vertical frames 53, 54 and are fastened to the vertical frames 53, 54 with screws.

[0013] In the door body 5 of this embodiment, as described below, the upper frame 51, the lower frame 52, the vertical frames 53, 54, and the upper ventilation frame 61, the lower ventilation frame 62, and the vertical ventilation frames 63, 64 that make up the ventilation window frame 6 form a ventilation unit frame that holds the outer shoji screen 7 and the inner shoji screen 8 in a freely movable manner. Specifically, the upper frame of the ventilation unit is formed by the upper frame 51 and the upper ventilation frame 61, the lower frame of the ventilation unit is formed by the lower frame 52 and the lower ventilation frame 62, the vertical frame 53 and the vertical ventilation frame 63 form the vertical frame of the ventilation unit on the hanging side, and the vertical frame 54 and the vertical ventilation frame 64 form the vertical frame of the ventilation unit on the door end side.

[0014] 2 and 5, the exterior member 510 of the upper frame 51 comprises an upper frame main body 511 formed in the shape of a hollow cylinder, and an extension piece 512 formed continuous with the exterior surface of the upper frame main body 511. The extension piece 512 is formed in an L-shaped cross section and comprises a horizontal surface portion 513 extending horizontally from the upper frame main body 511, and a vertical surface portion 514 extending downward from the exterior end of the horizontal surface portion 513. The upper ventilation frame 61 is attached to the underside of the exterior member 510, and the upper frame 71 of the outer screen 7 in the closed position is positioned between this upper ventilation frame 61 and the vertical surface portion 514 of the exterior member 510.

[0015] As shown in Fig. 3, the vertical ventilation frames 63, 64 are made up of vertical ventilation frame bodies 630, 640 made of aluminum extrusions or the like, and decorative frame materials 639, 649 made of synthetic resin. Note that the vertical ventilation frames 63, 64 are parts with the same cross-sectional shape, so the structure will be explained using the vertical ventilation frame 63 shown in Fig. 6. The vertical ventilation frame body 630 of the vertical ventilation frame 63 includes a plate-shaped projection piece 631 formed along the projection direction, a protrusion piece 632 that protrudes from the projection piece 631 toward the vertical stile 53, i.e., toward the outer periphery, and engagement pieces 633 and 634 that are L-shaped in cross section, and an exterior guide piece 635, an intermediate guide piece 636, and an interior guide piece 637 that protrude toward the inner periphery from the projection piece 631. An attachment 638 made of synthetic resin and formed with a substantially L-shaped cross section is attached between the intermediate guide piece 636 and the interior guide piece 637. The attachment 638 is arranged over substantially the entire length of the vertical ventilation frame 63 and covers the surface of the projection piece 631 facing the interior of the room relative to the intermediate guide piece 636 and the interior surface of the intermediate guide piece 636. The decorative frame material 639 engages with the engaging portion 634 of the projection piece 631 and the indoor guide piece 637, and covers the ventilation vertical frame body 630 so that it is not exposed to the indoor side. Further, the exterior member 530 of the vertical frame 53 is engaged with the engaging portion 633, and the protruding piece 632 is in contact with or close to the interior member 535. An insertion groove 6351 is formed at the vertical middle position of the outdoor guide piece 635, into which a projection piece 665 of a vertical frame reinforcement member 660, which will be described later, is inserted.

[0016] As shown in FIG. 4, the outer shoji screen 7 and the inner shoji screen 8 are movable shoji screens that can move up and down along the vertical ventilation frames 63 and 64. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the outer shoji screen 7 is made up of an aluminum upper frame 71, a lower frame 72, and left and right vertical frames 73, 74 assembled into a rectangular frame shape. Double-glazed glass 75 is attached to the inner peripheral surface of each frame 71 to 74 via a gasket. The inner shoji screen 8 is made up of an aluminum upper frame 81, a lower frame 82, and left and right vertical frames 83, 84 assembled into a rectangular frame shape. Double-glazed glass 85 is attached to the inner peripheral surface of each frame 81 to 84 via a gasket. Since each of the frames 71, 73, 74, 81 to 84 other than the lower frame 72 is exposed to the indoor space, each is made up of a combination of an aluminum exterior member and a synthetic resin interior member, improving heat insulation. In addition, the glass on the exterior side of the double-glazed glass 75, 85 is made of wire glass to improve fire resistance.

[0017] The outer shoji 7 and inner shoji 8 are arranged to be movable up and down along guide grooves formed between the exterior guide piece 635 and the intermediate guide piece 636 of the ventilation vertical frames 63 and 64, and between the attachment 638 and the interior guide piece 637. Specifically, sliders (not shown) that can slide within the guide grooves are attached to the upper and lower ends of the vertical stiles 73 and 74 of the outer shoji 7 and the upper and lower ends of the vertical stiles 83 and 84 of the inner shoji 8. A wire (not shown) is attached to the sliders of the outer shoji 7 and the inner shoji 8, which is stretched via a pulley (not shown). As a result, when the inner shoji 8 is moved upward from the closed state, the outer shoji 7 moves downward in unison, placing the door body 5 in a ventilation-enabled state. When the inner shoji 8 is moved downward from the ventilation state, the outer shoji 7 also moves upward in unison, placing the outer shoji 7 and inner shoji 8 in a closed state.

[0018] As shown in Figures 1 to 3, a mesh lattice 9 is detachably attached to the exterior surface of the door body 5 with screws or the like. The mesh lattice 9 is composed of an upper bracket 91, a lower bracket 92, and left and right vertical brackets 93 arranged in a rectangular shape, with multiple horizontal brackets 94 suspended between the left and right vertical brackets 93. An insect screen 95 is provided on the interior side of the horizontal bracket 94, and its edges are attached to the upper bracket 91, lower bracket 92, and left and right vertical brackets 93. A door closer 4 is attached to the upper frame 10 and the upper stile 51 of the door body 5.

[0019] As shown in Fig. 4, the door body 5 is provided with an upper frame reinforcement member 650 and a vertical frame reinforcement member 660 that prevent the outer shoji screen 7 from falling to the outside of the room. The upper frame reinforcement member 650 will be described below with reference to Figs. 4 and 5, and the vertical frame reinforcement member 660 will be described with reference to Figs. 4 and 6. Note that in Figs. 5 and 6, for ease of viewing, hatching showing cross sections has been omitted for the exterior member 510 of the upper stile 51, the exterior member of the upper stile 71, the exterior member 530 of the vertical stile 53, the vertical ventilation frame body 630 of the vertical ventilation frame 63, and the mesh lattice 9.

[0020] [Upper frame reinforcement] The upper frame reinforcement 650 is made of a metal plate such as steel or stainless steel, and as shown in FIG. 5, is formed with an L-shaped cross section and includes a recess piece 651 and a recess piece 655. As shown in Figure 4, the sight piece 651 comprises a central sight piece 652 located on the outside of the room in the forward direction relative to the upper frame 71 of the outer shoji screen 7, and a pair of end sight pieces 653 formed continuously on both the left and right ends of the central sight piece 652 and located on the outside of the room in the forward direction relative to the vertical frames 73, 74 of the outer shoji screen 7. The end sight piece 653 extends downward from the central sight piece 652. In other words, the height position of the lower end of the central sight piece 652 is lower than the lower end of the vertical surface portion 514 and slightly higher than the lower end of the upper frame 71. On the other hand, the height position of the lower end of the end sight piece 653 is lower than the lower end of the central sight piece 652 and the lower end of the upper frame 71.

[0021] The upper frame reinforcement 650 is formed to have a length dimension approximately the same as the longitudinal dimension of the upper frame 51 and is fixed to the upper frame 51 with multiple screws 659. The visible piece 651 of the upper frame reinforcement 650 is arranged along the indoor surface of the vertical surface portion 514, and the visible piece 655 is arranged along the underside of the horizontal surface portion 513. A screw 659 is threaded into the visible piece 655 through a through-hole formed in the horizontal surface portion 513. The upper frame reinforcement 650 is fixed to the upper frame 51 that constitutes the upper frame of the ventilation unit by this screw 659. Furthermore, both left and right ends of the visible piece 655 are bent downward and fixed to the upper ends of the vertical ventilation frames 63, 64 by screws 658.

[0022] Through holes are formed in the sight piece 651 and vertical surface portion 514 of the upper frame reinforcement 650 in the projection direction, and screws 96 are inserted into these through holes to fix the upper attachment 91 of the mesh lattice 9 to the upper frame 51. The upper attachment 91 is positioned on the outdoor side of the central sight piece 652, hiding the central sight piece 652 so that it is not exposed to the outdoor side. Furthermore, a heat-forming foam material 200 is attached to the interior surface of the central sight piece 652 over substantially the entire length in the longitudinal direction. In the event of a fire, this heat-forming foam material 200 foams toward the upper frame 71 so as to close the gap between the central sight piece 652 and the upper frame 71.

[0023] [Vertical frame reinforcement] As shown in Figure 4, the vertical frame reinforcement 660 is the same part that is attached to the ventilation vertical frames 63 and 64 in different directions, and like the upper frame reinforcement 650, it is made of a metal plate material such as steel or stainless steel. The vertical frame reinforcement 660 comprises a sight piece 661 that is positioned on the outside of the room in the forward direction relative to at least a portion of the vertical frames 73, 74 of the outer shoji screen 7, and a sight piece 665 that extends from the sight piece 661 to the inside of the room in the forward direction and is fixed to the ventilation vertical frames 63, 64.

[0024] The spot piece 661 is arranged across the joint between the outer shoji screen 7 and the inner shoji screen 8, that is, spanning from the lower end of the vertical frames 73, 74 of the outer shoji screen 7 to the upper end of the vertical frames 83, 84 of the inner shoji screen 8. For this reason, the spot piece 661 is arranged to cover the outside of the sliders attached to the lower end of the vertical frames 73, 74 of the outer shoji screen 7 and the sliders attached to the upper end of the vertical frames 83, 84 of the inner shoji screen 8. In addition, as shown in Figure 6, the tip edge of the inner periphery of the sight piece 661 extends beyond the exterior guide piece 635 and is positioned on the exterior side of the vertical frames 73, 74 of the outer shoji screen 7.

[0025] The vertical dimension of the projection piece 665 is shorter than that of the sight piece 661, and it extends from the vertical midpoint of the sight piece 661 toward the interior of the room. As shown in FIG. 6, the projection piece 665 is inserted into the insertion groove 6351 formed in the base end portion of the exterior guide piece 635 and is arranged along the inner periphery of the projection piece portion 631. The interior edge of the projection piece 665 extends so as to abut or be close to the intermediate guide piece 636, and the interior end of the projection piece 665 is fixed to the projection piece portion 631 by a screw 669. In other words, the screw 669 is located at a position inside the room relative to the exterior facing surfaces of the vertical frames 73 and 74 of the outer shoji screen 7 in the projection direction.

[0026] A vertical attachment 93 of the mesh lattice 9 is arranged on the outdoor side of the sight piece 661, covering the sight piece 661. The vertical attachment 93 is attached to the outdoor guide piece 635 by inserting and engaging a hook member (not shown) provided at a height position below the vertical frame reinforcement member 660 into an engagement groove formed in the outdoor guide piece 635.

[0027] [Heated foam material] 2 and 3, heat-forming foam materials 200 are attached to the upper frame 10, lower frame 20, and vertical frames 30 and 40 of the door frame 2. Specifically, the heat-forming foam materials 200 are attached to the visible surfaces of the upper frame body 11 and vertical frame bodies 31 and 41, the visible surface of the lower frame body 21, and the retaining grooves of the airtight materials 39 and 49 of the cover materials 35 and 45. In the event of a fire, these heat-forming foam materials 200 foam and can seal each of the gaps 101 to 104.

[0028] 2 and 3, heat-forming foam materials 200 are attached to the outer peripheral surfaces of the upper stile 51, lower stile 52, and vertical stiles 53 and 54 of the door body 5, respectively, to seal the gaps with the door frame 2 in the event of a fire. In addition, reinforcing materials are arranged inside the lower stile 52 and vertical stile 53, and heat-forming foam materials 200 are attached to these reinforcing materials to seal the left and right openings in the hollow part of the lower stile 52 and the lower end opening of the vertical stile 53. Furthermore, in the outer shoji screen 7 and the inner shoji screen 8, heated foaming material 200 is appropriately placed in the recessed grooves that hold the double-glazed glass 75, 85, and foams within the holding grooves to seal the gaps between each frame 71-74, 81-84 and the double-glazed glass 75, 85. As shown in Figure 5, the upper surface of the upper frame 71 of the outer shoji screen 7 and the inclined piece of the exterior member 510 of the upper frame 51 are covered with a heat-expanding foam material 200 to seal the gap between the upper frame 71 and the recessed piece 655 in the event of a fire. The outer shoji screen 7 is constructed by butting the edge of the upper frame 71 against the side of the vertical frames 73 and 74, so no heat-expanding foam material is provided on the upper edges of the vertical frames 73 and 74. For this reason, the heat-expanding foam material 200 provided on the inclined piece of the exterior member 510 of the upper frame 51 is provided at both the left and right ends of the exterior member 510. As a result, the center of the gap between the recessed piece 655 of the upper frame reinforcement 650 attached to the upper frame 51 and the upper surface of the outer shoji 7 is sealed with the heated foam material 200 attached to the upper surface of the upper frame 71, and both left and right ends of the gap are sealed with the heated foam material 200 attached to the inclined piece of the exterior member 510. In addition, the gap between the exterior surface of the upper frame 71 and the recessed piece 651 is sealed with the heated foam material 200 attached to the interior surface of the recessed piece 651. As shown in Figure 2, a heated foam material 200 is attached to the exterior surfaces of the lower frame 72 of the outer shoji screen 7 and the upper frame 81 of the inner shoji screen 8, sealing the gap between the lower frame 72 and the upper frame 81, and a heated foam material 200 is attached to the lower surface of the lower frame 82 of the inner shoji screen 8 and the upper surface of the lower frame 52, sealing the gap between them. As shown in Figure 6, the surface of the vertical frame 53 facing the vertical ventilation frame 63 is pasted with 200 to seal the gap between them. In addition, the outer peripheral surface of the vertical frame 73 of the outer shoji screen 7 and the projection piece 631 facing this outer peripheral surface are pasted with heated foam material 200 to seal the gap between them. In addition, the indoor surface of the intermediate guide piece 636, the outer peripheral surface of the vertical frame 83 of the inner shoji screen 8, and the attachment 638 facing this outer peripheral surface are pasted with heated foam material 200 to seal the gap between them. Although not marked in Figure 3, heated foam material 200 similar to that in Figure 6 is also arranged between the vertical frame 54 and the vertical ventilation frame 64, and between the vertical ventilation frame 64 and the outer shoji screen 7 and the inner shoji screen 8.

[0029] [Effects of the first embodiment] According to the first embodiment of the ventilation door 1, it is equipped with a vertical frame reinforcement 660 that is arranged on the outside of at least a portion of the vertical frames 73, 74 of the outer shoji screen 7 in the expected direction, and an upper frame reinforcement 650 that is arranged on the outside of at least a portion of the upper frame 71 of the outer shoji screen 7 in the expected direction. Therefore, if the outer shoji screen 7 shifts downward and tilts toward the outside of the room due to the wire stretching during a fire, the outer shoji screen 7 will be held in place by abutting against the upper frame reinforcement 650 and the vertical frame reinforcement 660, thereby preventing the outer shoji screen 7 from falling over and preventing a decrease in the fire resistance of the ventilation door 1.

[0030] The screws 669 that secure the vertical frame reinforcement 660 to the ventilation vertical frame body 630 are positioned indoors relative to the exterior-facing surfaces of the vertical stiles 73 and 74 of the outer shoji screen 7 in the projection direction. This prevents the screws 669 from being directly exposed to flames during a fire, allowing the vertical frame reinforcement 660 to be held in place for a long time. That is, if the vertical frame reinforcement 660 were secured to the exterior guide piece 635, which is the exterior-facing surface of the ventilation vertical frame 63, with screws, the screw fixing portion would be exposed to the exterior surface of the ventilation vertical frame 63, and would be directly exposed to flames during an outdoor fire. This could shorten the time it takes for the screws and the threaded portions of the ventilation vertical frame 63 to melt and cause the vertical frame reinforcement 660 to fall off. In contrast, this embodiment prevents the screws 669 from being directly exposed to flames, allowing the vertical frame reinforcement 660 to be held in place for the time required to maintain fire resistance.

[0031] The vertical frame reinforcement 660 covers the outside of the joint part of the outer shoji screen 7 and the inner shoji screen 8, so that in the event of an outdoor fire, the slider placed at the joint part of the outer shoji screen 7 can be hidden by the metal spot piece 661, preventing the slider from being burned and the outer shoji screen 7 from dropping. Furthermore, the vertical frame reinforcement 660 has a vertically symmetrical structure with a sight piece 665 provided at the vertical midpoint of the sight piece 661, so that the same shaped vertical frame reinforcement 660 can be attached to both the vertical ventilation frame 63 and the vertical ventilation frame 64 and used interchangeably, thereby reducing costs.

[0032] The sight piece 651 of the upper frame reinforcement 650 is equipped with a central sight piece 652 and an end sight piece 653, so that the upper end portions of the vertical frames 73, 74 of the outer shoji screen 7 can be covered by the end sight piece 653, protecting the sliders on the upper end sides of the vertical frames 73, 74. Furthermore, if the outer shoji screen 7 falls to the outside of the room, the central sight piece 652 holds the upper frame 71, and the end sight piece 653 can hold the upper ends of the vertical frames 73, 74, so that the outer shoji screen 7 can be more reliably prevented from falling. Furthermore, since the heated foam material 200 is provided on the sight piece 651 that extends below the vertical surface portion 514 of the upper frame 51, even if the outer shoji screen 7 is lowered, as long as it does not drop below the lower end of the sight piece 651, the heated foam material 200 provided on the sight piece 651 can foam to seal the gap between the sight piece 651 and the upper frame 71, thereby improving fire prevention performance.

[0033] The upper frame reinforcement 650 is provided with a projection piece 655, which is fixed to the horizontal surface 513 of the upper frame 51 with a screw 659. This allows a longer time for the threaded joint to melt than when the screw 659 is fixed on the exterior side of the exterior-facing surface of the upper frame 71 of the outer shoji screen 7, and the upper frame reinforcement 650 can be maintained in a held state for a period of time required to maintain fire resistance. Furthermore, the upper frame reinforcement 650 is also fixed to the vertical ventilation frames 63, 64 with a screw 658, which not only allows the upper frame reinforcement 650 to be held in a held state for an even longer period of time, but also prevents gaps from forming at the joints between the left and right edges of the horizontal surface 513 of the upper frame 51 and the upper edges of the projection pieces 631 of the vertical ventilation frames 63, 64, preventing gaps from forming at the joints and thus preventing a decrease in fire resistance.

[0034] [Second embodiment] Next, a ventilator door 1B of a second embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 7. The ventilator door 1B of the second embodiment has a reinforcing back plate 670 and a corner reinforcing member 680 added to the configuration of the ventilator door 1 of the first embodiment. Therefore, the reinforcing back plate 670 and the corner reinforcing member 680 will be described. The reinforcing back plate 670 is a long metal plate placed on the horizontal surface portion 513 of the upper frame 51, which is the upper frame of the ventilation unit. The longitudinal dimension of the reinforcing back plate 670 is shorter than the longitudinal dimension of the horizontal surface portion 513, and the reinforcing back plate 670 is placed in the center position of the horizontal surface portion 513 in the left-right direction. The screws 659 pass through the reinforcing back plate 670 and the horizontal surface portion 513 near both the left and right ends of the reinforcing back plate 670 and are screwed into the recessed pieces 655 of the upper frame reinforcement material 650.

[0035] The corner reinforcement 680 is an L-shaped metal reinforcement that straddles and is fixed to the horizontal surface portion 513 of the upper frame 51, which is the upper frame of the ventilation unit, and the projection portion 631 of the vertical ventilation frames 63, 64, which are the vertical frames of the ventilation unit. Therefore, the corner reinforcement 680 is fixed to the projection surface of the upper frame of the ventilation unit with screws 659, and to the projection surface of the vertical frames of the ventilation unit with screws 658.

[0036] [Effects of the second embodiment] The ventilation door 1B of the second embodiment also includes the upper frame reinforcing member 650 and the vertical frame reinforcing member 660, and therefore can achieve the same effects as those of the first embodiment. Since the reinforcing back plate 670 is provided to be fixed to the upper frame reinforcing member 650, the fixing strength of the upper frame reinforcing member 650 can be improved. In addition, by providing the corner reinforcement material 680, it is possible to further prevent the joints between the left and right edges of the horizontal surface portion 513 of the upper frame 51 and the upper edges of the projecting pieces 631 of the vertical ventilation frames 63, 64 from opening up in the event of a fire, thereby preventing the joints from opening up and forming through holes through which flames can pass, and preventing a decrease in fire resistance performance.

[0037] [Variations] In the above embodiment, the sight piece 651 of the upper frame reinforcement 650 is composed of a central sight piece 652 and an end sight piece 653, but it may be composed of only the central sight piece 652. Furthermore, it is sufficient that it is positioned on the outside of the room in the prospective direction relative to at least a portion of the upper frame 71 of the outer shoji screen 7. For example, the sight piece 651 may be positioned on the outside of the room in the prospective direction relative to the center of the upper frame 71 in the left-right direction, or it may be positioned on the outside of the room in the prospective direction relative to both ends of the upper frame 71 in the left-right direction. In short, it is sufficient that it abuts against the upper frame 71 when the outer shoji screen 7 falls to the outside of the room, preventing further falling of the outer shoji screen 7.

[0038] The visible piece 661 of the vertical frame reinforcement 660 was provided at the joint part of the outer shoji screen 7 and the inner shoji screen 8, but the visible piece 661 may be formed to a length that covers almost the entire length of the vertical ventilation frames 63, 64 in the longitudinal direction, or may be provided only on the outside of the vertical frames 73, 74 of the outer shoji screen 7.In short, it is sufficient if the visible piece 661 can abut against the vertical frames 73, 74 when the outer shoji screen 7 falls to the outside of the room, thereby preventing the outer shoji screen 7 from falling further.

[0039] The configuration of the ventilation unit frame that guides the outer shoji screen 7 and the inner shoji screen 8 is not limited to the above embodiment. In addition, the fixing structure of the upper frame reinforcement member 650 and the vertical frame reinforcement member 660 may also be set appropriately depending on the configuration of the ventilation unit frame.

[0040] [Summary of the invention] The ventilation door of the present invention is a ventilation door comprising a door frame and a door body arranged within the door frame, wherein the door body comprises a ventilation unit frame comprising a ventilation unit upper frame and a ventilation unit vertical frame, and outer and inner shoji screens arranged to be freely movable along the ventilation unit vertical frame, and wherein the ventilation unit vertical frames are each fitted with vertical frame reinforcement members arranged on the outside of the room in the forward direction relative to at least a portion of the vertical frame of the outer shoji screen, and the ventilation unit upper frame is fitted with an upper frame reinforcement member arranged on the outside of the room in the forward direction relative to at least a portion of the upper frame of the outer shoji screen. According to the present invention, the outer screen is provided with vertical frame reinforcement members that are arranged on the outside of the room in the expected direction for at least a portion of each vertical frame of the outer screen, and upper frame reinforcement members that are arranged on the outside of the room in the expected direction for at least a portion of the upper frame of the outer screen. Therefore, if the outer screen tilts toward the outside of the room during a fire, the outer screen will be held in place by abutting against the upper frame reinforcement members and vertical frame reinforcement members, thereby preventing the outer screen from falling toward the outside of the room and preventing a decrease in the fire resistance performance of the ventilation door.

[0041] In the ventilation door of the present invention, the vertical frame reinforcement material comprises a visible piece that is positioned on the outside of the exterior in the forward direction relative to the vertical frame of the exterior screen, and a visible piece that extends from the visible piece toward the inside of the exterior in the forward direction and is fixed to the vertical frame of the ventilation unit with a screw, and it is preferable that the screw is positioned at a position inside the interior of the exterior facing surface of the vertical frame of the exterior screen in the forward direction. According to the present invention, the screws that secure the vertical frame reinforcement to the vertical frame of the ventilation unit are positioned inside the room rather than the exterior visible surface of the vertical frame of the outer screen in the projection direction, thereby preventing the screws from being directly exposed to flames in the event of a fire and allowing the vertical frame reinforcement to be maintained for a long period of time.

[0042] In the ventilation door of the present invention, it is preferable that the vertical frame reinforcement material is positioned at least on the outside of the room in the forward direction relative to the lower end of the vertical stile of the outer screen and the upper end of the vertical stile of the inner screen. According to the present invention, the vertical frame reinforcement covers the outside of the joint parts of the outer and inner shoji screens, i.e., the lower end of the vertical stile of the outer shoji screen and the upper end of the vertical stile of the inner shoji screen, so that in the event of an outdoor fire, the slider placed at the joint part of the outer shoji screen can be covered with the metal vertical frame reinforcement, preventing the slider from being burned and the outer shoji screen from dropping.

[0043] In the ventilation door of the present invention, the upper frame reinforcement material comprises a central sight piece that is positioned on the outside of the room in the forward direction relative to the upper frame of the outer screen, and end sight pieces that are formed continuously at both ends of the central sight piece and are positioned on the outside of the room in the forward direction relative to the vertical frame of the outer screen, and it is preferable that the end sight pieces extend downwardly beyond the central sight piece. According to the present invention, the upper frame reinforcement is provided with a central and end piece, so that the end piece can cover the upper end of the vertical stile of the outer shoji screen, protecting the slider on the upper end of the vertical stile. Furthermore, if the outer shoji screen falls to the outside of the room, the central piece can hold the upper stile and the end piece can hold the upper end of the vertical stile, so the outer shoji screen can be more reliably prevented from falling.

[0044] In the ventilation door of the present invention, it is preferable that the upper frame reinforcement material comprises a projection piece that is positioned above the upper frame of the outer screen and fixed to the upper frame of the ventilation unit with screws. According to the present invention, a projection piece is provided on the upper frame reinforcement material and this projection piece is fixed to the upper frame of the ventilation unit with a screw, so that the fixing position of the screw can be set inside the room rather than the exterior visible surface of the upper frame of the outer screen, thereby extending the time until the screw threaded portion melts and allowing the upper frame reinforcement material to be maintained for a long period of time.
