Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a light emitting device. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, a light emitting device 201 including a light-transmitting body 203 and a grip part 205 as shown in Fig. 13 has been known. The light-transmitting body 203 is formed by joining two members 207 and 209 together using, for example, an adhesive. The light-transmitting body 203 has a shape like a certain container with a narrow opening 211 and a large internal space 213.
[0003] A light-emitting unit 215 made up of an LED is provided on the gripping unit 205. The gripping unit 205 is placed at the opening 211 of the light-transmitting body 203 so that the light emitted by the light-emitting unit 215 is irradiated into the internal space 213 of the light-transmitting body 203.
[0004] In the light emitting device 201, a film-like member 217 is installed inside the light transmitting body 203. The light emitted by the light emitting part 215 passes through the film-like member 217 and the light transmitting body 203 and emerges outside the light transmitting body 203.
[0005] Furthermore, in the light emitting device 201, the internal space 213 of the light transmitting body 203 is larger than the opening 211 of the light transmitting body 203. When replacing the film-like member 217, it is necessary to pass the film-like member 217 through the narrow opening 211. Therefore, once the film-like member 217 has been installed in the light emitting device 201, it is extremely difficult to replace it.
[0006] Therefore, a light emitting device 301 as shown in Fig. 14 has been proposed (see Patent Document 1). The light emitting device 301 is configured to include a light-transmitting body 303, a gripping portion 305, and a film-like member 307. In the light emitting device 301, the light-transmitting body 303 is configured to include two members 309 and 311. The two members 309 and 311 are detachable from each other. This makes it easy to replace the film-like member 307.
[0007] The gripping part 305 is provided with a light-emitting part 313. A film-like member 307 is placed inside the light-transmitting body 303, and the gripping part 305 is placed at an opening 315 of the light-transmitting body 303, and the light-emitting part 313 emits light. As a result, the light emitted by the light-emitting part 313 passes through the film-like member 307 and the light-transmitting body 303 and emerges outside the light-transmitting body 303. [0008] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 6839428 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0009] In the light emitting device 301, a male thread forming portion 317 is provided to protrude from the member 309, and a male thread forming portion 319 is also provided to protrude from the member 311. Then, by screwing a nut member 323 into a male thread portion 321 formed by placing the member 311 on the member 309, an engagement state between the members 309 and 311 is ensured at the tip ends of the members 309 and 311 (ends opposite to the gripping portion 305).
[0010] The engagement between members 309 and 311 at the base ends (ends on the gripping portion 305 side) of members 309 and 311 is ensured by the ring-shaped member and gripping portion 305.
[0011] However, although the light emitting device 301 allows easy replacement of the film-like member 307, the number of parts constituting the light transmitting body 303 increases, making the structure of the light transmitting body 303 complicated.
[0012] An object of the present invention is to provide a light emitting device that can simplify the configuration of the light transmitting body by reducing the number of parts that make up the light transmitting body, and that allows easy replacement of the film-like member. [Figure 14] FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a schematic configuration of a conventional light emitting device. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0020] A light emitting device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention is intended to be held by a participant of an event held at a concert venue, for example, and is configured to include a light-transmitting body 3 and a grip part 5, as shown in Fig. 1. The light emitting device 1 may also be called a penlight.
[0021] Here, for convenience of explanation, one predetermined direction is defined as the vertical direction, another predetermined direction perpendicular to this vertical direction is defined as the horizontal direction, and the direction perpendicular to the vertical and horizontal directions is defined as the thickness direction.
[0022] The light transmitting body 3 is composed of a first light transmitting body construct 7 and a second light transmitting body construct 9. The first light transmitting body construct 7 is provided with a first engagement portion 11. The second light transmitting body construct 9 is provided with a second engagement portion 13.
[0023] The second light transmitting body construct 9 is designed to be easily attached and detached (detachable) to the first light transmitting body construct 7. The second engaging portion 13 is engaged with the first engaging portion 11 to place the second light transmitting body construct 9 on the first light transmitting body construct 7, thereby forming the cylindrical portion 15 and the light transmitting body main body portion 17.
[0024] An interlocking portion 19 is provided on the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion 15. The interlocking portion 19 may be provided on another portion, such as the inner periphery of the cylindrical portion 15. The light transmitting body main body 17 protrudes in the vertical and horizontal directions from one end of the cylindrical portion 15 in the extension direction of the tube (extension direction of the central axis of the tube; vertical direction). The light transmitting body main body 17 is also connected to the space outside the light transmitting body 3 through the inside of the cylindrical portion 15.
[0025] The fact that the second light-transmitting body structure 9 can be easily attached and detached to the first light-transmitting body structure 7 also means that the first light-transmitting body structure 7 can be easily attached and detached to the second light-transmitting body structure 9.
[0026] As can be understood, the light-transmitting body 3 is formed by the cylindrical portion 15 and the light-transmitting body main body 17. By placing the second light-transmitting body construct 9 on the first light-transmitting body construct 7, the light-transmitting body 3 is formed, for example, without using any other components. In the light-transmitting body 3, for example, an opening 21 is formed only at the other end of the cylindrical portion 15.
[0027] Let us assume that there is no liquid leakage from the contact point where the first light transmitting body construct 7 and the second light transmitting body construct 9 are in direct contact with each other when the second light transmitting body construct 9 is placed on the first light transmitting body construct 7. In this hypothetical example, water is poured into the leak-free light transmitting body 3 with the cylindrical portion 15 facing up and the light transmitting body main body 17 facing down. Then, no water leakage from the light transmitting body 3 occurs unless water overflows from the opening 21 of the cylindrical portion 15.
[0028] Furthermore, a first contact portion 23 is present in the first light transmission body construct 7, and a second contact portion 25 is present in the second light transmission body construct 9. The first contact portion 23 is a portion that contacts the second light transmission body construct 9 when the second light transmission body construct 9 is placed on the first light transmission body construct 7. The second contact portion 25 is a portion that contacts the first light transmission body construct 7 when the second light transmission body construct 9 is placed on the first light transmission body construct 7.
[0029] The first engagement portion 11 is composed of a part of the first contact portion 23 (the part opposite the gripping portion 5; the part at the vertical tip), and the second engagement portion 13 is composed of a part of the second contact portion 25 (the part opposite the gripping portion 5; the part at the vertical tip).
[0030] The gripping part 5 is configured to include a light emitting part 27 and a locking part 29. When the cylindrical part 15 of the light transmitting body 3 is placed on the gripping part 5 so that the locked part 19 is locked to the locking part 29, the light emitted by the light emitting part 27 is irradiated toward the light transmitting body main body 17.
[0031] A second light-transmitting body construct 9 is placed on the first light-transmitting body construct 7, and the engaging portion 19 of the tubular portion 15 is engaged with the engaging portion 29 of the holding portion 5, thereby integrating the first light-transmitting body construct 7, the second light-transmitting body construct 9, and the holding portion 5.
[0032] The light emitting device 1 is also provided with a film-like member 31. The film-like member 31 is formed into a shape that fits along the inner surface of the light transmitting body main body 17, and is placed inside the light transmitting body main body 17 so as to fit along the inner surface 18 of the light transmitting body main body 17.
[0033] That is, when the film-like member 31 is placed on the light transmitting body 3, the film-like member 31 is deployed so as to be substantially parallel to the inner surface 18 of the light transmitting body main body 17. The film-like member 31 is either slightly spaced apart from the inner surface 18 of the light transmitting body main body 17 or is in contact with the inner surface 18 of the light transmitting body main body 17.
[0034] The light emitted by the light-emitting section 27 passes through the film-like member 31 and further through the light-transmitting body 3 to emerge outside the light-transmitting body 3. As a result, when the light-emitting device 1 is viewed, the light-transmitting body 3 and the film-like member 31 appear to be shining.
[0035] Furthermore, the light emitted by the light-emitting section 27 is diffused or irregularly reflected as it passes through the film-like member 31, which makes the overall luminous intensity of the film-like member 31 uniform, making the light emission appear more beautiful, for example.
[0036] The film-like member 31 is formed in a thin film shape with low rigidity, and is easily deformed by, for example, applying force with a human finger. However, if the deformation is caused by a force of a human finger, the film-like member 31 will return to its original shape that conforms to the inner surface 18 of the light-transmitting body main body 17 by removing the force or applying an appropriate force in the opposite direction.
[0037] The film-like member 31 is composed of, for example, a first film-like member structure 33 and a second film-like member structure 35, similar to the first light-transmitting member structure 7 and the second light-transmitting member structure 9.
[0038] The first film-shaped member construct 33 and the second film-shaped member construct 35 are formed into a shape that conforms to the inner surface 18 of the light transmitting body main body 17, for example, by press molding using a mold. The first film-shaped member construct 33 and the second film-shaped member construct 35 may also be formed into a shape that conforms to the inner surface 18 of the light transmitting body main body 17, for example, by vacuum forming using a mold. Therefore, in a state where no external force other than gravity is applied to the first film-shaped member construct 33 or the second film-shaped member construct 35, the first film-shaped member construct 33 is slightly smaller than the curved surface of the inner surface 18 of the light transmitting body main body 17. The first film-shaped member construct 33 also has a shape that is roughly similar to the curved surface of the inner surface 18 of the light transmitting body main body 17. Similarly, the second film-like member structure 35 is slightly smaller than the curved surface of the inner surface 18 of the light-transmitting body main body 17 and has a shape roughly similar to the curved surface of the inner surface 18 of the light-transmitting body main body 17.
[0039] When the film-like member 31 is installed in the light transmitting body main body 17, the film-like member 31 hardly moves relative to the light transmitting body main body 17 (light transmitting body 3).
[0040] The light emitting device 1 is also provided with a light-transmitting body support 37. The light-transmitting body support 37 is configured to be installed on the tubular portion 15 (on the tip side of the tubular portion 15 in the vertical direction; on the side of the light-transmitting body main body 17 in the vertical direction). The light-transmitting body support 37 maintains the engagement state between the first light-transmitting body configuration 7 and the second light-transmitting body configuration 9 before the locked portion 19 of the tubular portion 15 is locked by the locking portion 29 of the grip portion 5.
[0041] As shown in FIG. 6, the light transmitting body support 37 is made up of, for example, a ring-shaped member, and as shown in FIG. 1, is adapted to fit around the cylindrical portion 15 on the outside of the cylindrical portion 15 like a hoop.
[0042] When the second light transmitting body construct 9 is installed on the first light transmitting body construct 7 and further the light transmitting body support body 37 is installed on the cylindrical portion 15, the first light transmitting body construct 7, the second light transmitting body construct 9, and the light transmitting body support body 37 are integrated. However, the light transmitting body support body 37 is able to move in one predetermined direction (toward the base end in the longitudinal direction) relative to the first light transmitting body construct 7 and the second light transmitting body construct 9. This movement causes the light transmitting body support body 37 to move away from the cylindrical portion 15 of the first light transmitting body construct 7 and the second light transmitting body construct 9.
[0043] As shown in FIG. 3 and other figures, the first light transmitting body construct 7 is formed with a semi-cylindrical first cylindrical portion forming portion 39 and a bowl-shaped or dish-shaped (deep dish-shaped) first light transmitting body main body forming portion 41. The first light transmitting body main body forming portion 41 protrudes while spreading laterally from one end of the first cylindrical portion forming portion 39 in the cylindrical extension direction. This forms a first concave surface 43 in the first light transmitting body construct 7. The first concave surface 43 forms part of the inner surface 18 of the light transmitting body 3. Note that detailed shapes of the first contact portion 23 and the second contact portion 25 are not shown in FIG. 3.
[0044] A semicylinder is one of the two three-dimensional shapes formed when a cylinder is divided into two by a plane including the central axis.
[0045] Similar to the first light transmitting body construct 7, the second light transmitting body construct 9 is also formed with a semi-cylindrical second cylindrical portion forming portion 45 and a bowl- or dish-shaped (deep dish-shaped) second light transmitting body main body portion forming portion 47 protruding from one end of the second cylindrical portion forming portion 45. This forms a second concave surface 49 in the second light transmitting body construct 9. The second concave surface 49 forms the remaining portion of the inner surface 18 of the light transmitting body 3.
[0046] The straight edge portion 51 of the first tubular portion forming portion 39 of the first light-transmitting body structure 7 and the curved edge portion 53 of the first light-transmitting body main body portion forming portion 41 of the first light-transmitting body structure 7 form the first contact portion 23 and are formed approximately on one plane 59.
[0047] Almost the entire first concave surface 43 is visible when viewed from a direction (thickness direction) perpendicular to one plane 59. Alternatively, as shown in Fig. 3(a), the entire first concave surface 43 may be completely visible when viewed from a direction perpendicular to one plane 59.
[0048] A further description will be given of an embodiment in which the entire first concave surface 43 is completely visible. The entire space 57 enclosed by the solid portion of the first light transmitting body construct 7, one flat surface 59, and the semicircular surface (a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction) 55 at the end of the first cylindrical portion forming portion 39 is provisionally filled with a solid. Then, the solid is moved perpendicular to the flat surface 59 and in a direction away from the first light transmitting body construct 7 (toward the front of the paper in FIG. 3( a)). If the entire first concave surface 43 is completely visible, the solid moves away from the first light transmitting body construct 7 without getting caught on the first cylindrical portion forming portion 39 and the first light transmitting body main body forming portion 41.
[0049] The shape of the first light transmitting body construct 7 and the shape of the second light transmitting body construct 9 are approximately the same. The linear edge portion 52 of the second cylindrical portion forming portion 45 of the second light transmitting body construct 9 and the curved edge portion 54 of the second light transmitting body main body portion forming portion 47 of the second light transmitting body construct 9 form the second contact portion 25, and are formed on approximately one plane 59.
[0050] The first light transmitting body construct 7 and the second light transmitting body construct 9 will now be described in further detail. The first light transmitting body construct 7 and the second light transmitting body construct 9 have slightly different shapes of their edges (contact portions 23, 25) except for a semicircular edge portion 61 at the end of the first cylindrical portion forming portion 39 and a semicircular edge portion 63 at the end of the second cylindrical portion forming portion 45. In other words, the first light transmitting body construct 7 and the second light transmitting body construct 9 have the same shapes except for the edges (contact portions 23, 25).
[0051] In addition, the first film-like member structure 33 that constitutes the film-like member 31 is slightly smaller than the curved surface of the concave surface 43 of the first light-transmitting body main body forming portion 41 of the first light-transmitting body structure 7, and has a shape that is roughly similar to the curved surface of the concave surface 43 of the first light-transmitting body main body forming portion 41.
[0052] The second film-like member construct 35 constituting the film-like member 31 is slightly smaller than the curved surface of the concave surface 49 of the second light transmitting body main body forming portion 47 of the second light transmitting body construct 9, and has a shape that is generally similar to the curved surface of the concave surface 49 of the second light transmitting body main body forming portion 47. Furthermore, the shape of the first film-like member construct 33 and the shape of the second film-like member construct 35 are generally the same.
[0053] When the second light-transmitting body structure 9 is installed on the first light-transmitting body structure 7, the edge 53 of the first light-transmitting body main body forming portion 41 of the first light-transmitting body structure 7 is in contact with the edge 54 of the second light-transmitting body main body forming portion 47 of the second light-transmitting body structure 9.
[0054] Furthermore, when the second light-transmitting body structure 9 is placed on the first light-transmitting body structure 7, the linear edge portion 51 of the semi-cylindrical first tubular portion forming portion 39 is in contact with the linear edge portion 52 of the semi-cylindrical second tubular portion forming portion 45.
[0055] Furthermore, in the light emitting device 1, the outer shape of the light transmitting body main body 17 formed by placing the second light transmitting body construct 9 on the first light transmitting body construct 1 is smoothly curved no matter what direction it is viewed from. That is, there are no unsightly protrusions on the outer shape of the light transmitting body main body 17, and it appears to be smoothly curved. Note that even if there is an extremely small protrusion on the outer shape of the light transmitting body main body 17, as long as it is not an unsightly protrusion, it is considered that there is no unsightly protrusion on the outer shape of the light transmitting body main body 17.
[0056] In addition, the light emitting device 1 may be configured such that the outer contour of the light transmitting body main body 17 is smoothly curved when viewed from any direction, except for the boundary between the tubular portion 15 and the light transmitting body main body 17.
[0057] To further explain this aspect, when the light transmitting body 3 is viewed from any one direction, the outline (curved outline) of the light transmitting body main body 17 emerges. This outline is smoothly curved except for the end in the extension direction (the end that marks the boundary between the tubular portion 15 and the light transmitting body main body 17). The curved outline of the light transmitting body main body 17 is drawn in a two-dimensional coordinate system. The curved outline of the light transmitting body main body 17 drawn in the two-dimensional coordinate system is continuously and smoothly curved. Furthermore, the curved outline of the light transmitting body main body 17 is differentiable everywhere except for the end in the extension direction.
[0058] The light emitting device 1 will now be described in more detail. The first light transmitting body structure 7 and the second light transmitting body structure 9 are made of a transparent or semi-transparent synthetic resin, and are rigid so as to be hardly deformed.
[0059] The first cylindrical portion forming portion 39 of the first light-transmitting body structure 7 is formed in a semi-cylindrical shape. The central axis of the semi-cylinder extends vertically. A male thread portion 65 that constitutes the locked portion 19 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the first cylindrical portion forming portion 39. A tip end portion of the outer peripheral surface of the first cylindrical portion forming portion 39 forms a male thread non-forming portion 67 where the male thread portion 65 is not formed. The thread diameter of the male thread portion 65 and the outer diameter of the male thread non-forming portion 67 are approximately equal to each other.
[0060] The first light transmitting body main body forming portion 41 is formed into a shape obtained by appropriately modifying a predetermined plate-like member, and is formed in a deep dish shape with a bottom plate portion 69 and side plate portions 71. The bottom plate portion 69 stands up a predetermined height in the thickness direction from the edge of the side plate portions 71. When viewed in the thickness direction, the first light transmitting body main body forming portion 41 is formed in a heart shape.
[0061] 2(a), the first engagement portion 11 of the first light transmitting body main body forming portion 41 is configured with an "L"-shaped convex portion 73. The engagement portion 11 is formed at a location indicated by a two-dot chain line L1 in FIG.
[0062] As shown in FIG. 2(b), a rectangular convex portion 75 is formed on the first contact portion 23 of the first light transmission body main body forming portion 41 other than the first engagement portion 11.
[0063] The second cylindrical portion forming portion 45 of the second light-transmitting body structure 9 is also formed in a semi-cylindrical shape. The central axis of the semi-cylinder extends vertically. A male thread portion 65 that constitutes the locked portion 19 is also formed on the outer peripheral surface of the second cylindrical portion forming portion 45. A tip end portion of the outer peripheral surface of the second cylindrical portion forming portion 45 forms a male thread non-forming portion 67 where the male thread portion 65 is not formed. The thread diameter of the male thread portion 65 and the outer diameter of the male thread non-forming portion 67 are approximately equal to each other.
[0064] The second light transmitting body main body forming portion 47 is also formed into a shape obtained by appropriately modifying a predetermined plate-like member, and is formed in a deep dish shape with a bottom plate portion 69 and side plate portions 71. When viewed in the thickness direction, the second light transmitting body main body forming portion 47 is formed in a heart shape.
[0065] 2(a), the second engaging portion 13 of the second light transmitting body main body forming portion 47 is configured with an "L"-shaped convex portion 77. The engaging portion 13 is also formed at the location indicated by the two-dot chain line L1 in FIG.
[0066] As shown in FIG. 2(b), a rectangular convex portion 79 is formed on the second contact portion 25 of the second light transmitting body main body forming portion 47 other than the second engaging portion 13.
[0067] 2(a), in a state where the second light-transmitting body construct 9 is placed on the first light-transmitting body construct 7, the convex portions 73 of the first light-transmitting body construct 7 are fitted into the positions where the convex portions 77 of the second light-transmitting body construct 9 are not present. Also, the convex portions 77 of the second light-transmitting body construct 9 are fitted into the positions where the convex portions 73 of the first light-transmitting body construct 7 are not present.
[0068] 2(b), when the second light-transmitting body construct 9 is placed on the first light-transmitting body construct 7, the convex portions 75 of the first light-transmitting body construct 7 are fitted into the positions where the convex portions 79 of the second light-transmitting body construct 9 are not present. Also, the convex portions 79 of the second light-transmitting body construct 9 are fitted into the positions where the convex portions 75 of the first light-transmitting body construct 7 are not present.
[0069] This prevents the second light-transmitting body construct 9 from moving in the vertical and horizontal directions relative to the first light-transmitting body construct 7. Furthermore, as can be seen from Figure 2(a), movement in the thickness direction is also almost impossible because it is fixed at the tip end side in the vertical direction.
[0070] The light transmitting body support 37 is made of, for example, a highly rigid synthetic resin and is formed in a circular ring shape as shown in Fig. 6. When the second light transmitting body construct 9 is installed on the first light transmitting body construct 7, the light transmitting body support 37 fits into the male thread non-forming portion 67 of the cylindrical portion 15 outside the male thread non-forming portion 67. This prevents the second light transmitting body construct 9 from moving in the thickness direction relative to the first light transmitting body construct 7.
[0071] As shown in Fig. 4, the first film-like member construct 33 is formed into a shape obtained by appropriately modifying a predetermined thin plate-like member, and is formed into a deep dish shape with a bottom plate portion 81 and side plate portions 83. When viewed in the thickness direction, the first film-like member construct 33 is formed into a heart shape. The second film-like member construct 35 is formed into the same shape as the first film-like member construct 33.
[0072] The grip part 5 is configured with a cylindrical housing 85 with a bottom made of a highly rigid synthetic resin. The central axis of the cylinder of the housing 85 extends vertically. An opening 87 is formed at the tip of the grip part 5 in the vertical direction.
[0073] Inside the housing 85, there are provided a battery 89, a control unit 91 including a CPU and a memory, the light emitting unit 27, and a light diffusing member 93. Under the control of the control unit 91, the light emitting unit 27 emits light in a predetermined pattern. The light emitted by the light emitting unit 27 passes through the light diffusing member 93 and reaches the inside of the light transmitting body main body 17.
[0074] A female screw portion 95 that constitutes the locking portion 29 is provided at the vertical tip inside the housing 85. By attaching the second light-transmitting body construct 9 to the first light-transmitting body construct 7, a male screw portion 65 is formed on the outer periphery of the tubular portion 15. By threading the female screw portion 95 into the male screw portion 65, the gripping portion 5 is attached to the light-transmitting body 3. Note that the female screw portion 95 may be configured in a different form depending on the change in the locked portion 19.
[0075] Here, the assembly of the light emitting device 1 will be described.
[0076] In the initial state, the gripping portion 5, the first light-transmitting body construct 7, the second light-transmitting body construct 9, the first film-like member construct 33, the second film-like member construct 35, and the light-transmitting body support 37 are separated.
[0077] In the above initial state, the first film-like member structure 33 is placed on the first light-transmitting body structure 7 , and the second film-like member structure 35 is placed on the second light-transmitting body structure 9 .
[0078] Next, the second light transmission body construction 9 is placed on the first light transmission body construction 7, and the light transmission body support 37 is placed on the first light transmission body construction 7 and the second light transmission body construction 9.
[0079] Next, the gripping portion 5 is attached to the first light transmitting body construct 7 and the second light transmitting body construct 9, and the light emitting device 1 is obtained.
[0080] In the light-emitting device 1, the light-transmitting body 3 is formed by a first light-transmitting body structure 7 having a first engagement portion 11 and a second light-transmitting body structure 9 having a second engagement portion 13 and being easily detachable from the first light-transmitting body structure 7.
[0081] As a result, when replacing the film-like member 31, it is sufficient to separate the light-transmitting body 3 into the first light-transmitting body constituent 7 and the second light-transmitting body constituent 9, facilitating replacement of the film-like member 31. Furthermore, since the light-transmitting body 3 is composed of only the first light-transmitting body constituent 7 and the second light-transmitting body constituent 9, the number of parts that make up the light-transmitting body 3 is reduced, and the configuration of the light-transmitting body 3 is simplified.
[0082] Furthermore, in the light emitting device 1, the first engaging portion 11 of the first light-transmitting body construct 7 is configured as part of the first contact portion 23, and the second engaging portion 13 of the second light-transmitting body construct 9 is configured as part of the second contact portion 25. This makes it easy to give the light-transmitting body 3 a neat appearance without any unnecessary protrusions or the like for joining the light-transmitting body constructs 7, 9 together.
[0083] Furthermore, in the light-emitting device 1, the film-like member 33 is formed in a shape that conforms to the inner surface 18 of the light-transmitting body main body portion 17, and is arranged to be installed inside the light-transmitting body main body portion 17 so as to conform to the inner surface 18 of the light-transmitting body main body portion 17.
[0084] This makes it easier to install the film-like member 31 on the light-transmitting body 3, and after the film-like member 31 is installed, the position of the film-like member 31 relative to the light-transmitting body 3 is stabilized. Furthermore, even if the light-emitting device 1 is shaken strongly, problems such as misalignment of the film-like member 31 can be prevented.
[0085] Furthermore, in the light emitting device 1, the light transmitting body support 37 maintains the engaged state between the first light transmitting body construct 7 and the second light transmitting body construct 9 before the locked portion 19 is locked by the locking portion 29. This allows the temporary locked state between the first light transmitting body construct 7 and the second light transmitting body construct 9 to be accurately maintained in cooperation with the respective engaging portions 11, 13, making it easier to install the gripping portion 5 on the light transmitting body 3.
[0086] Furthermore, in the light emitting device 1, the first light transmitting body construct 7 is formed to include a first cylindrical portion forming portion 39 and a first light transmitting body main body portion forming portion 41, and therefore a first concave surface 43 is formed in the first light transmitting body construct 7. The second light transmitting body construct 9 is also formed in the same manner as the first light transmitting body construct 7, and therefore a second concave surface 49 is formed in the second light transmitting body construct 9.
[0087] When the second light-transmitting body structure 9 is placed on the first light-transmitting body structure 7, the edge 53 of the first light-transmitting body main body forming portion 41 of the first light-transmitting body structure 7 and the edge 53 of the second light-transmitting body main body forming portion 47 of the second light-transmitting body structure 9 are in contact with each other.
[0088] This makes it easy to eliminate undercut portions when molding the first light transmission body structure 7 and the second light transmission body structure 9, thereby reducing the cost of producing molds, etc.
[0089] Furthermore, according to the light emitting device 1, the outline of the light transmitting body main body 17 is smoothly curved when viewed from any direction. This gives the light transmitting body 3 a streamlined shape, and also minimizes the risk of damage to the light emitting device 1 or other objects even if the light emitting device 1 is swung and accidentally hits something.
[0090] Incidentally, the manner of engagement between the first light transmission body structure 7 and the second light transmission body structure 9 may be modified as shown in FIGS.
[0091] 7, a snap 97 that rotates relative to the first light transmission body construct 7 is provided on the first light transmission body construct 7, and the first contact portion 23 of the first light transmission body construct 7 is aligned with the second contact portion 25 of the second light transmission body construct 9. In this state, as shown in FIG. 7(a), the snap 97 is rotated in the direction of the arrow.
[0092] As a result, as shown in Fig. 7(b), the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 13 engage with each other. In the state shown in Fig. 7(b), the snap 97 fits into a recess provided in the first light transmitting body construct 7 or the second light transmitting body construct 9, and does not protrude from the first light transmitting body construct 7 or the second light transmitting body construct 9. The first light transmitting body construct 7 and the snap 97 are integrally molded.
[0093] In the embodiments shown in Figures 7 to 12, the first light-transmitting body structure 7 and the second light-transmitting body structure 9 are rectangular parallelepipeds with angular shapes, but they do not have to be formed in such shapes, and the outer shape may be a smooth shape such as a heart shape.
[0094] In the embodiment shown in FIG. 8, a hinge portion 99 is used as the first engagement portion 11 and the second engagement portion 13. The hinge portion 99 is integrally molded with the first light-transmitting body structure 7 and the second light-transmitting body structure 9. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 8, the hinge portion 99 is disposed outside the first engagement portion 11 and the second engagement portion 13, and protrudes slightly from the first engagement portion 11 and the second engagement portion 13. Therefore, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 8, the hinge portion 99 may be disposed inside the first engagement portion 11 and the second engagement portion 13, and the hinge portion 99 may not protrude at all from the first engagement portion 11 and the second engagement portion 13.
[0095] 9 to 11, the shape of the hinge portion 99 is different from that shown in Fig. 8. That is, in the embodiment shown in Fig. 9 to 11, the hinge portion 99 is configured to include a rectangular flat portion 109 surrounded by a slit 105 and a bending line 107 (shown by a dashed line in Fig. 9 and by a solid line in Figs. 10 and 11).
[0096] As shown in Fig. 9, when the first light-transmitting body construct 7 and the second light-transmitting body construct 9 are closed, there is no bending at the bending line 107. In contrast, as shown in Fig. 10 and Fig. 11, when the first light-transmitting body construct 7 and the second light-transmitting body construct 9 are open, there is bending at the bending line 107. In the state shown in Fig. 10 and Fig. 11, there is a valley fold at the bending line 107 shown in Fig. 9.
[0097] In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 9 to 11, the hinge portion 99 does not protrude to the outside or inside of the first light transmission body structure 7 or the second light transmission body structure 9.
[0098] In the embodiment shown in Figure 12, the second light-transmitting body structure 9 is placed on the first light-transmitting body structure 7 by sliding the second light-transmitting body structure 9, for example, vertically relative to the first light-transmitting body structure 7.
[0099] The first engagement portion 11 of the first light transmission body structure 7 shown in Fig. 12 is formed by a "T"-shaped convex portion 101. The second engagement portion 13 of the second light transmission body structure 9 shown in Fig. 12 is formed by a "T"-shaped concave portion 103.
[0100] Although the present embodiment has been described above, the present embodiment is not limited to this, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the gist of the present embodiment. [Explanation of symbols]
