Abstract

To provide a power conversion device having small element loss while achieving a high voltage utilization ratio and phase voltage without distortion.SOLUTION: A power conversion device 10 comprises: a three-phase inverter 20 having first to third legs each having first and second switching elements connected in serial between a first terminal and a second terminal to which a DC electric signal is input; a single phase inverter having a fourth leg 21n with first and second switching elements connected between a first terminal and a second terminal in serial; and a control circuit 40 that inputs a control signal to each of the first and second switching elements provided in each of the first to fourth legs to switch conduction of the switching element. The control circuit 40 inputs, to each of the first and second switching elements, a signal generated by comparing first to third modulated signal waves in which the first to third signal waves corresponding to the first to third legs are modulated in two phases with a transfer wave as a control signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
