Abstract
Claims
1. A plurality of coolers having a flattened cooler body through which coolant flows, a cylindrical intake section whose centerline is perpendicular to the cooler body and which draws the coolant into the cooler body, and a cylindrical exhaust section whose centerline is perpendicular to the cooler body and which discharges the coolant to the outside, A cylindrical housing member is positioned outside the suction portion and the discharge portion so as to accommodate a part of the discharge portion of a first cooler, which is one of the plurality of coolers, and a part of the suction portion of a second cooler, which is another cooler. Equipped with, Each of the aforementioned plurality of coolers comprises a thin plate-shaped first member having a first hole formed therein, a thin plate-shaped second member having a second hole facing the first hole, and a held member that is held by being sandwiched between the first member and the second member and that sucks coolant into the gap between the first member and the second member or discharges the coolant from the gap, wherein the held member comprises a cylindrical first cylindrical portion and a cylindrical portion whose centerline direction is the same as the centerline direction of the first cylindrical portion. The structure has a second cylindrical portion and a third cylindrical portion provided between the first cylindrical portion and the second cylindrical portion, the third cylindrical portion being cylindrical with its centerline direction in the same direction as the centerline direction, and having an outer shape larger than the outer shapes of the first cylindrical portion and the second cylindrical portion, the third cylindrical portion being positioned in the gap, the first cylindrical portion protruding from the first hole, the second cylindrical portion protruding from the second hole, and the third cylindrical portion having a communication hole formed in a direction intersecting the centerline direction so as to connect the inside and outside. A cooling device in which the second cylindrical portion of the first cooler is the discharge portion, and the first cylindrical portion of the second cooler is the intake portion.
2. The cooler has the retained member at a first end, which is the upstream end in the flow direction of the coolant, and at a second end, which is the downstream end, in the cooler body. The housing member further comprises a cylindrical first housing member disposed outside the second cylindrical portion and the first cylindrical portion so as to house a part of the second cylindrical portion of the retained member at the first end of the first cooler and a part of the first cylindrical portion of the retained member at the first end of the second cooler, and a cylindrical second housing member disposed outside the second cylindrical portion and the first cylindrical portion so as to house a part of the second cylindrical portion of the retained member at the second end of the first cooler and a part of the first cylindrical portion of the retained member at the second end of the second cooler. The cooling device according to claim 1.
3. The cooler is a thin plate-shaped member placed in the gap, and includes a flow path forming member having a notch formed therein that, together with the first member and the second member, constitutes a flow path for the coolant drawn into the gap. The third cylindrical portion of the member to be held is positioned within the notch of the flow path forming member. The cooling device according to claim 1 or 2.
