Abstract

A battery module, a battery pack including the same, and an automobile are disclosed. A battery module according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, a module case in which the battery cell stack is housed, and flame suppression pads disposed between the plurality of battery cells inside the module case, wherein the module case has a rupture section that is ruptured by gas.
