Abstract

To provide an oxygen saturation degree measuring device and an oxygen saturation degree measuring method capable of reducing a frequency of measurement interruptions attributed to a positional deviation of a sensor at a position inside the wrist.SOLUTION: An oxygen saturation degree measuring device 10C includes: a band 12 wound around the wrist of a person to be measured; light emitting elements (a first light emitting element LED1, a second light emitting element LED2, and a third light emitting element LED3) for irradiating the artery (radial artery 24) of the wrist with light; a first light reception element PD1 and a second light reception element PD2 for receiving reflection light from the artery (radial artery 24); a light reception element determination part for determining the light reception element by which a pulse wave signal with a larger amplitude of a first pulse wave signal acquired from the reflection light received by the first light reception element PD1 and a second pulse wave signal acquired from the reflection light received by the second light reception element PD2 is received, as a light reception element for measurement; and a measuring part for measuring an oxygen saturation degree of the artery irradiated with light on the basis of the pulse wave signal received by the determined light reception element for measurement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
