Abstract
To provide a thermal transfer sheet including a base material and a transfer layer, which is capable of sufficiently suppressing reflection of exterior light and glare of an image in an obtainable printed matter by transferring the transfer layer onto a transfer object.SOLUTION: A thermal transfer sheet includes a base material, a release layer, and a transfer layer in this order. A surface of the transfer layer which is located on a side of the release layer has moth-eye structure. A surface of the release layer which is located on a side of the transfer layer has a concave convex pattern having a shape that is complementary with respect to the moth-eye structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
