AI Technical Summary
In power conversion devices, the rear unit is not sufficiently secured to the housing, leading to potential damage from vibrations during transportation or operation, and existing methods for fixing the unit are cumbersome and time-consuming for loading and unloading.
A control panel configuration that includes a housing, a unit with casters, an upper fixing panel, a guide groove, and a unit fixing part, allowing the unit to be securely attached and easily removable, with casters running on a base panel and the guide groove restricting movement to a fixed position, eliminating the need for bolts on the rear side.
This configuration enhances the fixation of the unit to the housing, prevents damage from vibrations, simplifies the loading and unloading process, and reduces the time required for attachment and detachment, while allowing for flexible placement and tool-free operation.
Abstract
Description
Control panel
[0001] FIELD OF THE INVENTION An embodiment of the present invention relates to a control panel.
[0002] For example, a control panel of a power conversion device has many control boards and electrical appliances (products). These boards and appliances are stored in a housing. The boards and appliances are configured as units. The units are configured so that they can be pulled out from inside the housing. An example of such a device is described in Patent Document 1.
[0003] However, in some power conversion devices, the rear of the unit is not secured inside the housing with bolts. If the unit is not secured properly to the housing, vibrations that occur during transportation or operation of the device can damage the components inside the unit, or the conductors and cables connected to the unit.
[0004] Furthermore, the circuit boards and accessories are heavy. For this reason, the unit is fixed to the housing. There is potential for improvement in ease and workability when inserting and removing the unit into and from the housing. At the same time, there is potential for reduction in the work time required for inserting and removing the unit into and from the housing.
[0005] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and aims to achieve the objectives of improving the fixation of the unit to the housing, improving ease of attaching the unit to the housing, improving workability, shortening work time, and providing a configuration that accommodates flexible equipment placement.
[0006] JP 2010-183711 A
[0007] The problem that the present invention aims to solve is to provide a control panel that improves the fixation of the unit to the housing, prevents damage to the parts inside the unit, and the conductors and cables connected to the unit, and improves the ease and workability of inserting and removing the unit from the housing.
[0008] A control panel according to an embodiment includes a housing, a unit, casters, an upper fixing panel, a guide groove, and a unit fixing portion. The unit is placed on a base panel within the housing. The casters are provided on the bottom of the unit and are capable of running on the base panel. The upper fixing panel fixes the rear upper end of the unit when the unit is stored. The guide groove restricts movement of the casters so that the unit descends toward the rear to a fixed position when the unit is stored. The unit fixing portion fixes the rear lower end of the unit when the entire lower surface of the unit contacts the base panel.

The casters 19 are provided at positions where, when the unit 10 is stored in the housing 2, the unit 10 moves toward the rear in the Y direction and the rear upper end 10fu of the unit 10 comes into contact with the upper fixing panel 17, the casters 19 coincide with the front groove end 32b of the guide groove 32 in the Y direction, which will be described later.
[0049] The base panel 3 has guide grooves 32. When the unit 10 is stored in the housing 2, the guide grooves 32 restrict movement of the casters 19 when the unit 10 is moved toward the rear in the Y direction. The guide grooves 32 guide the movement of the casters 19. The guide grooves 32 guide the movement of the unit 10. The guide grooves 32 restrict the unit 10 so that it descends in the Z direction to a fixed position as the unit 10 moves in the Y direction. The guide grooves 32 are spaced apart from the unit lower plate 10d when the unit 10 is stored in the housing 2. When the unit 10 is stored in the housing 2, the base panel 3 is in contact with the unit lower plate 10d at a position around the guide grooves 32.
[0050] The guide groove 32 is provided in the base panel 3. The guide groove 32 extends in the Y direction. The guide groove 32 is inclined in the Y direction from the front groove end 32b to the rear groove end 32f. The guide groove 32 descends in the Y direction from the front groove end 32b to the rear groove end 32f. The front groove end 32b is at the same height as the base panel 3 in the Z direction. The rear groove end 32f descends from the base panel 3 in the Z direction by the same height as the protrusion amount of the caster 19 protruding downward from the unit lower plate 10d. The guide groove 32 is open outward on both sides in the X direction. The rear groove end 32f of the guide groove 32 is open outward in the Y direction. The rear groove end 32f is formed at approximately the same position in the Y direction as the rear end 3f of the base panel 3.
[0051] The guide groove 32 has a bottom (bottom plate) 32d. The bottom 32d is curved. The bottom 32d is formed in an arc shape when viewed in the X direction. The bottom 32d is curved in an arc shape centered at the position where the unit 10 contacts the upper fixing panel 17. The bottom 32d has a curved surface shape that descends from the front groove end 32b toward the rear groove end 32f, centered at the position where the unit 10 contacts the upper fixing panel 17. The bottom 32d can be formed as a notch in the base panel 3.
[0052] The bottom 32d is inclined downward near the front groove end 32b toward the rear groove end 32f. The bottom 32d extends in the Y direction near the rear groove end 32f. The entire length of the bottom 32d extends horizontally in the X direction. In other words, the bottom 32d is not inclined in the X direction. The bottom 32d is plate-shaped. The front groove end 32b of the bottom 32d is connected to the base panel 3. The bottom 32d is integral with the base panel 3. It is formed by bending the rear groove end 32f downward from the base panel 3 at the front groove end 32b.
[0053] The guide groove 32 regulates the movement locus of the caster 19 so that the rear lower end 10fd of the unit 10 rotates toward the rear side around the position where it contacts the upper fixed panel 17.
[0054] FIG. 4 is a side view showing the dimensions of the unit in the embodiment. FIG. 5 is a side view showing the dimensions of the base panel in the embodiment. FIG. 6 is a side view showing the dimensions of the unit and upper fixing panel in the embodiment. FIG. 7 is a side view showing the dimensions of the unit and base panel in the embodiment. The Z-direction dimension of the unit 10 is the Z-direction height Z10 as shown in FIG. 4. The Z-direction dimension of the unit rear plate 10f is the Z-direction height Z10. The Z-direction height Z10 is the Z-direction dimension from the upper surface of the unit upper plate 10u to the lower surface of the unit lower plate 10d.
[0055] As shown in Figure 4, the thickness of the rear fixing plate 13 is Z-direction thickness Z13. The Y-direction dimension of the rear fixing plate 13 is Y-direction dimension Y13. The Y-direction dimension Y13 is the Y-direction dimension from the rear surface of the unit rear plate 10f to the rear end of the rear fixing plate 13. The Y-direction dimension Y13 is the Y-direction protrusion dimension of the rear fixing plate 13.
[0056] 5, the Z-direction height dimension of the upper fixing panel 17 is Z-direction height Z17. Z-direction height Z17 is the Z-direction distance from the upper surface 3u of the base panel 3 to the lower surface of the upper vertical position regulating portion 17a.
[0057] 5, the Z-direction height dimension of the rear position restricting portion 14 is a Z-direction height Z14. The Z-direction height Z14 is the Z-direction distance from the upper surface 3u of the base panel 3 to the lower surface of the rear vertical position restricting portion 14a.
[0058] 6, the Y-direction dimension Y17 of the upper fixing panel 17 is the Y-direction length of the upper vertical position restricting portion 17a. The Y-direction length of the upper vertical position restricting portion 17a is the length in the Y-direction from the front end 17a1 to the base end of the upper vertical position restricting portion 17a. The Y-direction length of the upper vertical position restricting portion 17a is the length in the Y-direction from the front end 17a1 to the front side surface of the upper front-rear position restricting portion 17b.
[0059] As shown in FIG. 6, the Y-direction position Y10u of the unit 10 is the distance in the Y direction from the position where the front end 17a1 of the unit upper plate 10u abuts to the outer surface of the unit rear plate 10f.
[0060] The Y-direction mounting position of the caster 19 is defined by the angle θ, as shown in FIG. 7 . The angle θ is the angle between the upper surface 3u and the unit lower plate 10d of the base panel 3 and the unit 10 in the following state. The angle θ is defined when the rear upper end 10fu of the unit 10 abuts the upper fixing panel 17 when the unit 10 is stored in the housing 2. The angle θ is defined when the unit 10 is tilted in the Y direction so that the front lower end 10bd is lifted off the base panel 3 when the unit 10 is stored in the housing 2. The angle θ is defined when the caster 19 is in contact with the front groove end 32b when the unit 10 is stored in the housing 2. The angle θ is defined when the end of the rear fixing plate 13 abuts the rear end 3f of the base panel 3 when the unit 10 is stored in the housing 2. The angle θ is defined by the Y-direction dimension Y13.
[0061] Here, the following relationships hold: Z10 ≥ Z17 Z13 ≥ Z14 Y10u = Y14
[0062] 7, the distance between the upper fixing panel 17 and the guide groove 32 is R19 from the front end 17a1 to the front groove end 32b. The distance R19 is the distance from the point on the upper surface of the unit upper plate 10u where the front end 17a1 abuts in the unit 10 tilted at angle θ to the bottom of the caster 19 abutting against the front groove end 32b. The distance R19 from the front end 17a1 to the front groove end 32b is equal to the distance R19 from the point on the upper surface of the unit upper plate 10u where the front end 17a1 abuts in the unit 10 tilted at angle θ to the bottom of the caster 19 abutting against the front groove end 32b.
[0063] Furthermore, the distance R19 from the front end 17a1 to the front groove end 32b is equal to the distance R19 from the point on the top surface of the unit upper plate 10u where the front end 17a1 abuts to the bottom of the caster 19 abutting against the front groove end 32b. The distance R19 from the front end 17a1 to the front groove end 32b is equal to the distance R19 from the front end 17a1 to the rear groove end 32f. The distance R19 from the front end 17a1 to the top surface of the bottom 32d is equal to the distance R19 from the front end 17a1 to the rear groove end 32f. The distance R19 from the front end 17a1 to the vicinity of the rear groove end 32f is equal to the distance R19 from the point on the top surface of the unit upper plate 10u where the front end 17a1 abuts to the bottom of the caster 19 abutting against the front groove end 32b.
[0064] Next, a method for storing the unit 10 in the housing 2 will be described.
[0065] Fig. 8 is a process diagram showing a method for storing a unit in an embodiment. Fig. 9 is a process diagram showing a method for storing a unit in an embodiment. Fig. 10 is a process diagram showing a method for storing a unit in an embodiment. Fig. 11 is a process diagram showing a method for storing a unit in an embodiment. Fig. 12 is a process diagram showing a method for storing a unit in an embodiment. When storing the unit 10 in the housing 2, the unit 10 is prepared on the near side in the Y direction relative to the base panel 3 on which the unit 10 is placed, as shown in Fig. 8.
[0066] In this case, the unit 10 is positioned outside the housing 2 in the Y direction, with the unit upper plate 10u positioned higher than the unit lower plate 10d. The unit 10 is positioned outside the housing 2 in the Y direction, with the unit rear plate 10f closer to the base panel 3 than the unit front plate 10b. The unit 10 is positioned outside the housing 2 in the Y direction, with the rotation axis 19c aligned along the X direction.
[0067] In the unit 10, the lower ends of the casters 19 are at approximately the same height as the upper surface 3u of the base panel 3. Alternatively, in the unit 10, the casters 19 are positioned higher than the upper surface 3u of the base panel 3. In the unit 10, the unit upper plate 10u and the unit lower plate 10d are parallel to the base panel 3. Alternatively, in the unit 10, as long as the casters 19 are positioned higher than the upper surface 3u of the base panel 3, the unit upper plate 10u and the unit lower plate 10d may be inclined with respect to the base panel 3.
[0068] Next, as shown in FIG. 9 , the unit 10 is placed on the upper surface 3u of the base panel 3. The lower ends of the casters 19 of the unit 10 contact the upper surface 3u of the base panel 3. The lower ends of the casters 19 of the unit 10 contact the upper surface 3u at a position spaced apart from the front groove end 32b in the Y direction. The lower ends of the casters 19 of the unit 10 contact the upper surface 3u closer to the front groove end 32b in the Y direction. The unit 10 maintains an orientation in which the rotation axis 19c is aligned along the X direction. The unit 10 has the unit upper plate 10u and unit lower plate 10d parallel to the base panel 3. Alternatively, the unit 10 may have the unit upper plate 10u and unit lower plate 10d tilted relative to the base panel 3 as long as the front fixing plate 11 and the rear fixing plate 13 are not in contact with the upper surface 3u.
[0069] Furthermore, the unit 10 moves as the casters 19 rotate around the rotation shafts 19c. The unit 10 moves toward the rear in the Y direction along the top surface 3u. At this time, the unit 10 maintains an orientation in which the front fixing plate 11 and the rear fixing plate 13 are not in contact with the top surface 3u. The unit 10 maintains an orientation in which the rotation shafts 19c are aligned in the X direction. In the Y direction, the lower ends of the casters 19 of the unit 10 have not reached the front groove end 32b.
[0070] Next, the unit 10 is tilted around the rotation axis 19c as shown by the arrow in Figure 10. The unit 10 rotates around the rotation axis 19c in a direction in which the rear lower end 10fd moves downward. The unit 10 rotates around the rotation axis 19c in a direction in which the front lower end 10bd moves upward. The front fixing plate 11 of the unit 10 moves away from the base panel 3 compared to the rear fixing plate 13. At this time, the unit 10 maintains an orientation in which the rotation axis 19c is aligned along the X direction. The unit 10 maintains a state in which the rear fixing plate 13 is not in contact with the upper surface 3u.
[0071] The unit 10 travels in the Y direction along the upper surface 3u until the lower end of the caster 19 reaches the front groove end 32b. While traveling, the unit 10 maintains a posture in which the rotation axis 19c is aligned along the X direction. While traveling, the unit 10 maintains a posture inclined about the rotation axis 19c.
[0072] Next, as shown in Figure 11, the lower ends of the casters 19 of the unit 10 reach the front groove ends 32b. At the same time, the rear upper ends 10fu of the unit 10 abut against the upper fixed panel 17. The unit upper plate 10u of the unit 10 abuts against the upper vertical position restricting portions 17a. The front ends 17a1 of the upper vertical position restricting portions 17a in the Y direction abut against the unit upper plate 10u. A location on the top surface of the unit upper plate 10u abuts against the front end 17a1 at a position corresponding to position Y10u, which is the Y-direction distance from the rear surface of the unit rear plate 10f.
[0073] At the same time, the rear fixing plate 13 of the unit 10 reaches the rear end 3f. During this time, the unit 10 maintains an orientation in which the rotation axis 19c is aligned along the X direction. The unit 10 maintains an orientation in which it is tilted around the rotation axis 19c. The angle between the upper surface 3u of the unit 10 and the base panel 3 and the unit lower plate 10d is angle θ. The unit 10 and the base panel 3 maintain angle θ. The unit rear plate 10f of the unit 10 does not abut against the upper front-rear position regulating portion 17b.
[0074] When the rear fixing plate 13 of the unit 10 reaches the rear end 3f as viewed in the Z direction, both ends of the rear lower end 10fd in the X direction abut against the lateral position restricting portions 14c. The front end 14c1 of the lateral position restricting portion 14c is closer to the front side of the housing 2 than the rear end 3f in the Y direction. The rear fixing plate 13 abuts against the front end 14c1 before the rear end 3f. The rear fixing plate 13 sandwiched between the two lateral position restricting portions 14c is restricted in its position in the X direction. The rear lower end 10fd of the unit 10 is sandwiched between the lateral position restricting portions 14c, and its position in the X direction is restricted. The unit 10, whose position is restricted in the X direction, is in a position where the casters 19 can enter the guide grooves 32.
[0075] Next, as shown by the arrow in FIG. 12 , the unit 10 is tilted around the position where it abuts against the front end 17a1. The unit 10 rotates around the position where it abuts against the front end 17a1 so that the rear lower end 10fd faces rearward in the Y direction. The unit 10 rotates around the position where it abuts against the front end 17a1 so that the front lower end 10bd faces downward in the Z direction. The unit 10 rotates around the position where it abuts against the front end 17a1 so that the front lower end 10bd approaches the base panel 3. At this time, the unit upper plate 10u does not shift from the position where it abuts against the front end 17a1. The caster 19 of the unit 10 passes over the front groove end 32b and enters the inside of the guide groove 32.
[0076] The caster 19 travels in the Y direction along the bottom 32d within the guide groove 32. The bottom 32d descends from the front groove end 32b to the rear groove end 32f. The caster 19 descends along the bottom 32d. As the caster 19 travels, the unit 10 rotates around the position where it abuts the front end 17a1. At the same time, the unit 10 moves in a diagonal direction, with the front lower end 10bd pointing downward in the Z direction and toward the rear in the Y direction. The unit 10 moves in a diagonal direction, with the rear lower end 10fd pointing downward in the Z direction and toward the rear in the Y direction. At this time, the unit 10 maintains a state in which the lower surface of the unit lower plate 10d is spaced apart from the rear end 3f, as shown in FIG. 13 . The movement of the unit 10 is not obstructed by the base panel 3.
[0077] The unit 10 rotates around the position where it abuts the front end 17a1 and reaches the storage position as shown in FIG. 2. In the storage position, the unit rear plate 10f abuts against the rear front-rear position restricting portion 14b at the rear lower end 10fd. The upper surface of the rear fixing plate 13 abuts against the lower surface of the rear vertical position restricting portion 14a at the rear lower end 10fd. The upper surface of the rear fixing plate 13 is pressed against the lower surface of the rear vertical position restricting portion 14a. The rear lower end 10fd causes the rear fixing plate 13 and the rear vertical position restricting portion 14a to elastically deform. The rear fixing plate 13 and the rear vertical position restricting portion 14a are fixed by frictional forces generated by the elastic deformation, providing vibration damping in directions along the XY plane.
[0078] In the storage position, the rear upper end 10fu of the unit rear plate 10f abuts against the upper front-to-rear position restriction portion 17b. The rear upper end 10fu of the unit upper plate 10u abuts against the upper vertical position restriction portion 17a. The rear upper end 10fu of the unit upper plate 10u is pressed against the upper vertical position restriction portion 17a. The rear upper end 10fu of the unit upper plate 10u elastically deforms the upper vertical position restriction portion 17a. The upper vertical position restriction portion 17a is fixed in place by frictional forces generated by the elastic deformation, providing vibration damping in directions along the XY plane.
[0079] In the storage position, the front lower end 10bd of the unit lower plate 10d abuts against the upper surface 3u. The entire lower surface of the unit lower plate 10d, up to the innermost end 3f in the Y direction, abuts against the upper surface 3u. The through-hole 11s is positioned in line with the through-hole 3s. The unit 10 is fixed to the base panel 3 by passing bolts 12 through the through-holes 11s and 3s.
[0080] By tightening the bolt 12, a force is applied to the unit 10 so that the front lower end 10bd approaches the base panel 3. This increases the pressing force on the upper surface of the unit upper plate 10u and the lower surface of the upper vertical position restricting portion 17a. It also increases the pressing force on the upper surface of the rear fixing plate 13 and the lower surface of the rear vertical position restricting portion 14a.
[0081] This completes the process of storing the unit 10 in the housing 2.
[0082] To remove the stored unit 10 from the housing 2, the above-described storage method is carried out in reverse order.
[0083] The control panel 1 of the embodiment can eliminate the need for bolt fixing at the rear side while maintaining the vibration-proof structure. This allows the unit 10 to be sufficiently fixed by fitting it between the base panel 3, rear position restriction portion 14, and upper fixing panel 17 of the housing 2. At the same time, the upper surface of the rear fixing plate 13 abuts against the lower surface of the rear vertical position restriction portion 14a, thereby allowing the unit 10 to be sufficiently fixed.
[0084] The control panel 1 can maintain the angle θ of the unit 10 with respect to the base panel 3 by using the casters 19. The control panel 1 can improve the mobility of the unit 10 with respect to the base panel 3 by using the casters 19. The control panel 1 can easily fix the unit 10 to the base panel 3 by using the casters 19.
[0085] Compared to conventional control panels, the control panel 1 allows the distance between the fulcrum and the point of force when fixing the unit 10 to be greater. Side panels can also be provided on the sides of the unit 10 to close off the sides of the unit 10. Although the control panel 1 has been described as being configured so that one caster 19 corresponds to one guide groove 32, guide grooves 32 corresponding to multiple casters 19 can also be formed in the base panel 3.
[0086] By providing the casters 19 on the unit lower plate 10d, the control panel 1 can easily maintain the angle θ with the base panel 3. In addition, the angle θ can be easily set by changing the position in the Y direction where the casters 19 are provided on the unit lower plate 10d. The angle θ can also be easily set by changing the Y-direction length Y13 of the rear fixing plate 13.
[0087] After running the unit 10, the control panel 1 can be easily placed in the storage position by pushing the unit 10 in and rotating the front lower end 10bd downward while the front end 14a1 of the upper fixing panel is in contact with it.
[0088] When the control panel 1 is applied to a power conversion device, no tools are required even if the housing 2 is made smaller and internal components are densely packed. The control panel 1 can avoid the problem of tools not being able to reach the back. Furthermore, there is no need to fasten the rear of the unit 10 inside the housing 2 with bolts or the like. Moreover, the unit 10 can be securely fastened to the housing 2.
[0089] Therefore, it is possible to prevent the possibility of damage to the internal components of the unit 10 or the conductors, cables, etc. connected to the unit 10 due to vibrations that occur during transportation or operation of the device. At the same time, the unit 10 can be fixed to the housing 2 without using special tools. Because no special tools are used, there is no increase in the number of parts or in costs.
[0090] Furthermore, the circuit boards, supplies, etc. are heavy objects. The unit 10 is also heavy. However, the control panel 1 can improve the ease and workability of inserting and removing the unit 10 into and from the housing 2. At the same time, the work time required to insert and remove the unit 10 into and from the housing 2 can be reduced.
[0091] The control panel 1 can improve the fixation of the unit 10 to the housing 2. The control panel 1 can enable the unit 10 to be fixed inside the housing 2 without using special tools. The control panel 1 can improve the ease of attaching the unit 10 to the housing 2. The control panel 1 can improve the workability of attaching the unit 10 to the housing 2. The control panel 1 can shorten the work time required to attach the unit 10 to the housing 2. The control panel 1 can provide a configuration that accommodates flexible equipment placement when attaching the unit 10 to the housing 2.
[0092] The control panel 1 can more firmly fix the unit 10 to the housing 2 by increasing the coefficient of friction between the upper surface of the unit upper plate 10u and the lower surface of the upper vertical position restriction portion 17a, which come into contact with each other. This improves the vibration-damping effect. To increase the coefficient of friction between the upper surface of the unit upper plate 10u and the lower surface of the upper vertical position restriction portion 17a, the upper surface of the unit upper plate 10u and the lower surface of the upper vertical position restriction portion 17a can be subjected to a predetermined surface treatment. To increase the coefficient of friction, the upper surface of the unit upper plate 10u and the lower surface of the upper vertical position restriction portion 17a can be formed from a material with a high coefficient of friction.
[0093] The control panel 1 can more firmly fix the unit 10 to the housing 2 by increasing the coefficient of friction between the upper surface of the rear fixing plate 13 and the lower surface of the rear vertical position restricting portion 14a, which come into contact with each other. This improves the vibration-damping effect. To increase the coefficient of friction between the upper surface of the rear fixing plate 13 and the lower surface of the rear vertical position restricting portion 14a, the upper surface of the rear fixing plate 13 and the lower surface of the rear vertical position restricting portion 14a can be subjected to a predetermined surface treatment. To increase the coefficient of friction, the upper surface of the rear fixing plate 13 and the lower surface of the rear vertical position restricting portion 14a can be formed from a material with a high coefficient of friction.
[0094] The control panel 1 can more firmly fix the unit 10 to the housing 2 by increasing the coefficient of friction between the contact surfaces of the lower surface of the unit lower plate 10d and the upper surface 3u of the base plate 3. This improves the vibration-damping effect. To increase the coefficient of friction between the lower surface of the unit lower plate 10d and the upper surface 3u of the base plate 3, the lower surface of the unit lower plate 10d and the upper surface 3u of the base plate 3 can be subjected to a predetermined surface treatment. To increase the coefficient of friction, the lower surface of the unit lower plate 10d and the upper surface 3u of the base plate 3 can be formed from a material with a high coefficient of friction.
