Abstract

This information provision method is executed by a computer, and comprises: a step for acquiring standard ingredient information indicating standard ingredients and the quantities of standard ingredients; a step for deriving substitute ingredient information indicating, from a plurality of reference ingredients, at least one substitute ingredient to use instead of a standard ingredient and indicating the quantity of the at least one substitute ingredient, on the basis of the quantities of the standard ingredients, the contents of chemical components included in the standard ingredients, and contents of the chemical components included in each of the plurality of reference ingredients; and a step for outputting the substitute ingredient information.
